There stood a cottage on a cliff above the sea. It was for all intents and purposes a perfectly ordinary house and yet there were whispers about the home in the village below. Very few had ventured into the little cottage or had even seen the owner of the home but those that had, described a sprawling interior that couldn't possibly fit within the humble structure.

What if...the TARDIS interfered, and took the Doctor back to her old friends so they could say goodbye properly to her, and say hello to the next Doctor?

An AU of the scene where Yaz, Graham, Ace and Tegan meet the former companions of the Doctor, and where Yaz discovers the Doctor will be okay.

The TARDIS team is unable to establish meaningful communication with the crew of an alien vessel, which is resolved by the struggle of the Doctor and the ship's captain to defend each other from a vicious beast. The alien is noted for speaking in allegories, such as "Temba, his arms wide", which are indecipherable to the TARDIS translatoion circuits. The Doctor is abducted.

The time travellers' arrival at an antarctic base coincides with another strange phenomenon, when a planet almost identical to Earth appears. Soon after, a strange people known as the Cybermen arrive, who are determined to not only survive, but to have humanity become like them. Furthermore, the Doctor is struggling more than usual, and the Princess is worried. Is it all over?

A series of bonus scenes regarding the Master and Beatrice that I couldn't fit into the main series. They take place at various points along the timeline of the three main books.
