May 2nd, 1981
Everyone knows about Harry Potter and Olivia Potter, the chosen one, the one who defeated Lord Voldemort at just 15 months old and his twin sister whose personality was just like her fathers. But no one ever brought up the fifth, tiniest Potter who survived that night on Halloween of 1981…
Euphemia Lily Potter, born May 2nd 1981. She had always been the quietest of the family, but the kindest. She loved people and observing how they looked, when they were Happy, Sad, Mad, Scared. They fascinated her, especially when those people were her favorite people. Never afraid of showing who her favorite people were.
James Potter had always been her favorite person, he was her father after all. She would cling to him when she saw him, and she wouldn't let go. She loved him and saw him as if he was the most amazing person in the world. Whenever she needed him he was there, the one who was always teaching her the value of protecting their loved ones, even if it meant you could get hurt. (Although he'd die before letting his little Prongslette get hurt in any shape or form on his watch). She was a daddy's girl after all.
Lily Potter neé Evans had also always been her favorite person, Though she was a daddy's girl, the love she had for her mother was like no other. She looked up to the big redhead, knowing her mother was the reason she too had fiery red hair and the green in her eyes, although her father had stepped in and gave her an equal amount of his Hazel eyes. She was the one who looked just like their mother and she was proud of that, also their mothers smarts. She would constantly read Lily's books and pick up on every bit of information they held.
Lastly, there was the one person who wasn't her parents who was her favorite…
Avalyn Potter or Auntie Ava to Effie. When she saw Ava she thought Ava was the coolest person to be around. She was her Auntie's mini me. Her Auntie's God Daughter, and she loved Ava as much as she did her Mother and Father. Ava has taught her pretty much everything she knows. Always cuddling with her and singing songs to Effie. Letting Effie play with her hair. And so much more.
Effie could do no wrong in their eyes. And Effie never intentionally did anything wrong, was she perfect? Of course not!
But in their eyes she was.
