May 2nd, 1986 - James' POV

Five years, FIVE BLOODY YEARS! I couldn't believe it. My tiny little Prongslette is five years old today. It was amazing how far we have come. At one point they weren't even allowed to tell anyone about the existence of our Little Euphemia Lily Potter but now she was the brightest four…five! Five years old! I have ever met. She brightens up my whole world with her sweet little face, her beautiful fire locks of hair, her little giggle that sounded like music to his ears.

I can not believe she is five already, but she was.So here I am in her room, setting up her birthday present…a drum kit. Yes you heard that right, a drum kit.

Effie has always tapped on tables, her legs, anything. If she could tap on it like a drum, she did. She also had a really good rhythm, so Ava and myself pitched in and got her a tiny little drum kit and James was now in said room setting it up with Effie was still asleep with Lily in their room.

Lily's POV

I had just woken up and gotten ready, my bright locks freshly washed and in their natural long waves. I crawled into my bed next to my five year old. Bloody hell, how is she five years old already? She is just my little baby! I pulled her close to me and she finally started to wake up, she looked up at me with those beautiful green eyes and smiled at me.

"Hi mummy!" She said to me happily, as I quickly pulled her close to me and snuggled her close. Attacking her with several kisses all over her face, which caused her to go into a fit of giggles.

"Happy birthday my princess!" I smiled and placed one more kiss on her forehead before standing up with Effie on my hip and getting her ready for the day.

It didn't take long for me to get her ready, her much curlier hair was washed and brushed out, leaving it down in its natural state. I put her in a green little sundress with white shorts underneath and by her request, her little black converse. A trait she picked up from her father.

We were at the counter in the bathroom James and I shared, brushing her teeth when James came in and snaked his arms around my waist. Placing a light kiss on my neck. Our little moment was over when Effie happily giggled and yelled "Daddy!!" the little girl had just finished with her teeth so she turned around and James picked her up as lifted here up in the air and quickly brought her back down, cradling her in his arms and gave her a kiss attack just as I had that same morning.

NO ONES POV

Effie giggled as her parents brought her into the kitchen and she was immediately scooped up by Ava who placed a kiss on her cheek and held her tightly.

"Happy birthday mini me! How has your morning been so far??", Ava asked her as she placed her onto the counter stool and finished making her breakfast. "Good!! Mummy and Daddy gave me lots of kisses and snuggles" she giggled softly, smiling at Ava as she was given a few waffles.

James sat next for his little girl and softly said into her ear "Sweetheart, when your done with your waffles, me and Auntie Ava have got a little surprise for you, alright?" he smirked over at his twin sister who smirked right back at him. Effie smiled with a face full of waffle and nodded, making James giggles softly and kiss her forehead.

As soon as she was done with her breakfast, the three along with her older siblings went up into her room with Effie eyes being closed by James and Lily held her. Lily put her down on the floor without James' hands moving at all. "Are you ready Prongslette?", "Yeah!".

James counted to three and took his hands away from her eyes, leaving her in awe. She smiled at him immediately and hugged him tightly, then ran over to Lily then Ava hugging both of them just as tight. Lastly James pulled out the drumsticks and motioned over to the drums "Why don't you give it a go?" Putting the small pair of headphones on her head.

She didn't have to be told twice as she ran over to the drum kit and just…went for it.

And she was incredible! She just played and played, she was so happy! And that's how she ended her fifth birthday after cake and time with her family and friends.

At the drum kit playing her tiny little heart out.
