Chapter 60: The Toxic Heatherberry Swamp! Violara's Shades of Purple Poison & Corrosion To Confidence! Embrace The Darkness, Risa!
The sounds of Mauveria screaming from the Wisteria Wasteland had gotten the attention of Rogue and his teammates, who inferred that the witch on Sting's path was now defeated. That left Rogue with the thought of going after Violara, who could probably be just as dangerous. He had sensed Mauveria's level of power, and that same level of strength could also be felt from Violara's house. She made the door loudly creak open, the sound being like a loud screech that also squeaked at a high pitch, and Violara slowly walked out of the house.
Violara had her violet hair tied back in an upwards ponytail with some strands bordering the left and right sides of her face, and she wore a violet evening dress that had Heather purple ruffles at its middle and bottom sections. Violara also wore a Heather purple necklace around her neck while its Heather purple gemstone was in the shape of a toxic cloud, and she wore some violet flat shoes. They matched her violet eyes, which were in her black irises while her eyes looked soulless. This woman's violet eyes also matched her violet skin, which looked sickly.
She walked out of her run-down house to glance at the group of Sabertooth mages, who looked at her in a somewhat repulsed manner. She returned that same kind of look towards them, as she hadn't been expecting visitors to this swamp. She decided to make a Heather purple aura engulf her hands, and some Heather purple muck began to seep out of her palms. It took the form of daggers, which she threw at the Sabertooth wizards. Kūkiatsu intercepted them by quickly firing a mint green tornado of wind from his left hand, but hitting the daggers for them to explode only made a Heather purple cloud of poison appear.
That spell was known as Heather Violet Knife Cloud, and Violara simply giggled in an evil manner as she placed her hands under her chin. She wanted the knives to inject the poison into her opponents, since she believed that the daggers made from her poison could make an entire guild of giant monsters end up being deceased, but attacking the knives in midair would them burst into being a poisonous cloud. That spell could still be used offensively, and Violara pushed her aura-covered hands towards the attack for it to quickly move through the air.
"You should all strive to enjoy Poison Magic. It quickly puts you to sleep without any feeling of pain. Even if you're choking, it's only for a short time." Violara told the Sabertooth mages with a calm smile on her face, hoping that they would quickly die.
That prompted Kūkiatsu to sternly tell everyone, as they dodged the cloud, "We have to be careful enough to not breathe in that poison!"
"Tempest Wind Slash!" Kūkiatsu stated aloud with a fierce look on his face, as he built up more power into his left hand.
Kūkiatsu ended up creating a mint green tornado that engulfed his left hand, before quickly moving that hand around in a clockwise direction. That caused the tornado to gain much more speed and power from absorbing air, but Kūkiatsu kept on making his hand swiftly move around in a circle. That made the tornado grow much stronger to where mint green slashing blades started to encircle it, and he threw the spell at Violara. The witch simply let herself get hit by this attack while building up magical power, not caring that the mint green blast was very large, and the heavy winds were slashing through the air itself.
The sight of his attack being successful made Kūkiatsu wonder if he managed to defeat the witch with one powerful attack, but the mint green smoke cleared up to reveal that Violara was melting. She surprisingly melted down into a pile of Heather purple goop while her eyes looked blank with a horrified facial expression, but that was followed up by Violara disturbingly rising up from the part of the goop that her allegedly body was breaking off from. She rose up out of the goop without feeling any wounds on her body, and she had activated a spell called Poisoned Husk.
That spell lived up to its name, since it allowed Violara to essentially hide inside of a clone that was made from poison, and this spell was one that could quickly be created. Violara could quickly go into it, moving like a ghost as she seemed to be levitating up from the poison. That startled Kūkiatsu, who watched the witch's melted husk of poison detonate in a Heather purple blast! That only sent more poison into the air, but these specific poison clouds glowed from an earlier spell still having its toxicity in the air.
"What are they doing?!" Sorano asked aloud with a shocked look on her face, seeing the Heather purple poison clouds have small geysers of sludge falling from them.
Violara explained in a gentle manner, before having a sadistic look in her eyes, "They're just coating the marshy ground with poisonous sludge that will burn worse than normal acid. Although, poisoning the ground means you can't step on it without letting me hear you scream and gasp for air."
The evil witch continued speaking, changing her to be slightly more calm, "I almost forgot to tell you that I'm Violara Venocide, commander of the Violet Division of Gunjou Town's witches. I guard the Heatherberry Swamp, but my witches can show you why this isn't a place for tourists."
One of the witches that had emerged from the bog built up Darkness Magic into her hands, before sending the magic into her scepter. The scepter's orb became Heather purple, before the witch fired a large orb up into the air. The Heather purple orb quickly exploded into several smaller orbs that fell down to the marshy ground, and they slowly sunk down into it. Kūkiatsu made a small mint green tornado form in his right hand, before sending it on to the marshy ground. He watched the mint green winds quickly become Heather purple, which meant they were poisoned.
This also meant that none of the Sabertooth mages could physically set foot into the Heatherberry Swamp for any close-range battles, and Rogue began to groan in frustration. From the shadow dragon slayer's perspective, this situation put him and his teammates in the position where they could only use long-range spells. Violara was at the other end of the swamp with her witches in the bogs acting as other obstacles that would have to be defeated, and Rogue felt that this would also be a time-consuming battle.
In his mind, there was no doubt that time would be a factor in this situation. If the battle took too long, then the poison would reach the team of Sabertooth wizards and make them die. If everyone wanted to survive, then they couldn't act too hasty. As far as Rogue was concerned, they still needed to see more of Violara's spells to figure out how they could effectively be countered. He decided to stay at the entrance of the swamp with his team, but him and Risa started to smile at each other in a confident manner as if they could still form a decent strategy.
Rogue decided to unleash an attack called Water Shadow Dragon's Roar, and he fired a lapis blue beam of watery and shadowy energy from his mouth. He watched it strike one of the witches, which resulted in a blue and black explosion occurring. However, Rogue got to see one of the other witches specifically aim her scepter at the blue clouds of smoke to make them become Heather purple. That was unfortunately possible, due to water being weak against poison. There was now more poison in the air, and the mage who Rogue struck wasn't even fazed by it.
Risa activated the spell known as Magenta's Glittering Psychic Dark Flares. Risa fired a ring of glittery flames from her mouth, and the flames were in a dark magenta color. The ring was aimed at the ground, resulting in massive fiery blasts when it struck the marshy surface, and the shadows of the dark magenta flames detonated as a way of creating several tall flames. They all started to become Heather purple, before the dark magenta color seemed to go back to being the dominant color. This surprised everyone, as Psychic Magic wasn't supposed to be strong against Darkness Magic.
However, a reasonable explanation was that the shadows themselves came from darkness. Risa's current magic involved shadows and dark thoughts such as obliterating her enemies, so Poison Magic seemed like a subcategory of Darkness Magic that was in a lower tier than Risa's Psychic Shadow Magic. This magic had been very dark, but it was still just in a subcategory. Violara demonstrated that they had a large difference in power between them by using the spell called Poison Chemical Pull, and she stretched out both of her hands.
Violara made a Heather purple aura heavily engulf her hands, before several Heather purple bubbles emerged from her palms. They were filled with violet sludge swirling around in them while they headed towards the flames, and the bubbles quickly made contact with the flames. Risa watched her fire be absorbed into the bubbles, even seeing the bubbles aggressively boil at an extremely hot temperature from taking in her flames, but no one expected the bubbles to immediately detonate in fiery explosions that were Heather purple while they became violet from absorbing the violet gases that emerged from the melting sludge.
"Poisonous gases? Won't these explode, too?" Risa asked aloud in a concerned manner, before sending Psychic Magic into her eyes as a way of gaining foresight.
Violara replied with an arrogant smile on her face, before softly giggling, "Unleash all the fire that you want, but you'll just allow me to change that smoke into poison. That fabled dark magenta magic is part of Darkness Magic, but it's just the odd-colored twig attached to a more superior type of purple tree."
Kūkiatsu commented with a slight frown on his face, as he analyzed the situation, "It seems like fire will neutralize poison, but it can also make poison gas ignite. Judging by how sickly Violara seems to be, she's likely conducted unethical research on how poison fares against different kinds of magic."
That only inspired Kūkiatsu to see if the poison in the Heatherberry Swamp could be dealt with by using unorthodox methods, and he activated a spell called Poison Zephyr Breeze. He interestingly applied the mint green aura of Wind Magic into his hands, before making them suck in the poisonous gases that lingered in midair, and Kūkiatsu wasted no time with making a green sphere form in between his hands. He aimed the sphere at all of the poison gas, causing it to be drawn to the projectile, and Kūkiatsu watched it become violet.
He wasted no time with throwing the sphere at the flames, and the researcher had the feeling of confidence enter his eyes. His attack detonated in the colors of mint green and violet, which was unusual, but the focused cluster of gases made the already-existing fire burst into larger flames while the winds were weak enough to make the flames feed on them instead of being extinguished. They burnt through a section of the marshy ground, even burning the poisonous orb that had been underneath it, and even the sludge around them was turning into hardened purple stones.
Kūkiatsu had no interest in damaging Violara right now, since it was more important to get rid of all the poison that she tried to create. Upon seeing her activate a spell called Poison Chloroform Burst, Kūkiatsu picked up one of the purple stones and threw it at Violara. That only made Violara shoot out a Heather purple sphere of sludge from her mouth, and it ended up bursting into a large smokescreen of Heather purple teargas. It made all of the Sabertooth mages start to have watery eyes while they leapt away from the cloud's winds, and Risa briefly wiped away some tears from her eyes to see that the marshy ground was beginning to melt.
"That poison will melt our bodies if we get close to it, so I've got to see if I can eradicate it!" Risa sternly thought to herself, as she stayed determined to win.
Risa added to her thoughts in a slightly calmer manner, before having a look of realization in her eyes, "Although, I'm unsure if I can slice through clouds of gas! Wait... that might actually work!"
Risa wasted no time with creating a light pink Esper Ball in her right hand, before making the dark magenta aura of her magic engulf the spell. Upon seeing the Esper Ball become dark magenta, Risa activated the spell again while making the second light pink sphere get absorbed into the first one. This only made the first sphere start to shine in a dark magenta color, before it glowed much brighter from Risa infusing more magical power into it. Despite increasing the power of her attack, Risa narrowed her eyes as she felt that it needed to be hot like a raging fire.
That caused her to unleash the spell known as Magenta's Glittering Psychic Dark Flares. Risa fired a ring of glittery flames from her mouth, and the flames were in a dark magenta color. The ring was aimed at the dark magenta sphere in her hand, and they began to coat the sphere in several fiery blasts that were quite large. All of the fire stuck to the sphere, almost like Risa had a raging inferno in the palm of her hand, and Risa threw the sphere into the large cloud of toxic gas. The gas caused the flames and the sphere to immediately end up bursting, which resulted in a dark magenta blast that was massive.
The massive dark magenta blast was composed of massive flames and Psychic Magic, which had been powerful enough to make some lingering gases bend in midair while the space itself was being distorted, and even a witch's hex for creating a Heather purple beam of sludge proved to be useless. When the sludge came in contact with the heat waves that were going outward, it became distorted and bent in midair. Even the sludge that fell was bending in bizarre ways, just like the flames that were contorting in several directions. Also, any drops of sludge that were above the beam were levitated to be immobilized in midair.
That prompted Risa to activate Stellar Psi, and she made a dark magenta aura engulf her hands. She thrusted them forward while aiming at the distorted fire, pushing the flames very far to where they could crash into Violara at high speeds. When Risa's attack struck Violara, the blasts that were produced from the flames had been somewhat smaller than earlier while the heat was still intense. Violara began to perspire during this situation, unable to create another Poison Chloroform Burst spell, and she also felt the air become hotter when she attempted to use her fifth spell.
Violara's fifth spell was known as Sludge Smog, and she fired a spiraling wave of Heather purple sludge from her mouth. It quickly shifted from being in a liquid form to being a gaseous beam of Heather purple smog, but the flames that were touched by the gas only ended up violently bursting into larger amounts of fire. Their heat grew to an extremely heightened temperature, and the waves of heat even distorted the orbs of nearby witches who were about to dispel the flames. The heat burnt the glass orbs, causing them to crack.
This left some of the witches without the capability of casting hexes that could aid Violara, and the antagonist simply let herself be badly burnt. She could feel the psychic energy beginning to distort her body, feeling all of her limbs and muscles contorting in natural ways. However, Violara strangely smiled in a devious manner while refusing to scream in pain. She activated her sixth spell, which was known as Heather's Toxic Witchcraft Mist, and Violara slammed both of her hands against her stomach while applying Darkness Magic to it.
One of the witches who saw Violara's current hand positions aimed her scepter at the powerful witch, causing the scepter's orb to shine in a Heather purple color, and the witch conjured up a large vortex of violet sludge that had a pungent odor. She sent the attack towards Violara, who simply opened her mouth as wide as possible for the vortex to go into it. She took her hands off of her stomach, allowing it to absorb all of the poison while it expanded to be much larger. Violara also felt her entire body become more obese, before surrounding herself with the Heather purple aura of Darkness Magic. In a few seconds, all of the poison traveled down into every single one of her muscles as if she converted all of the poisonous liquid into gaseous proteins. As Violara felt her body have much more strength to loudly crack every part of her body back into place, the sludge vortex's poisonous gases nearly left her lips as she suddenly disappeared into a puff of Heather purple smoke.
"Where did she go?" Sorano asked in a curious manner, as her eyes became filled with feelings of concern.
Violara replied from behind the group, sounding sadistic as she emerged from a small bit of smog in the air, "I'm right here. If you think you can fight me from a distance, that just prevents me from hearing your sounds of choking and screaming."
"Since you're the most troublesome one of the group, let me whisper a little lullaby as I put you to sleep." Violara told Risa in a dark and disturbing tone of voice, before smirking in an evil and vicious manner.
Before Risa could react, Violara exhaled a large breath of Heather purple mist from her mouth while striking the other woman at point-blank range. The poisonous gas also reached Kūkiatsu and Sorano, who were coughing from the smell of the pungent gas, and even Rogue felt himself nearly choking as Violara continued to exhale her toxic breath. The person who suffered the most from it was Risa, who felt like the poison gas was burning up her body like she would get a deadly fever, but that wasn't the worst of it.
Risa watched her own skin become pale and sickly, before hearing a painful ringing sound in her ears. She ended up falling to her knees, feeling her body be paralyzed, and Risa couldn't stop herself from feeling sick as waves of nausea rose up from her stomach. She couldn't even evade the poisonous mist, which thickly grew around her team to the point where Rogue was struggling to breathe, and Risa herself couldn't even take a deep breath. All that her nose and mouth could smell was the poison, which seemed like it could explode if Violara wanted to ignite it.
Violara decided that making Risa implode would be a better method, however. She activated a spell called Violet Poison Virus Implosion, and Violara made Heather purple clouds of steam rise up from her body as she made sludge bombs of her Darkness Magic implode from within herself. Violara instantly exploded in a large burst of violet sludge. Most of it ended up drenching Risa's body, causing her to gasp in a poisoned and choking manner from how this level of poison felt more dangerous, and this sludge was much hotter. As it seeped down into her body, Risa felt herself fall to the ground as sharp pains occurred inside her body like she had been injected with deadly toxic chemicals. To make matters worse, Risa's head was violently pounding and she was deluded into seeing Violara evilly smiling as if the poison was tampering with her senses. Risa tried to move her right arm, only to see it become Heather purple and refuse to move.
"If you try to resist, the poison will just spread faster. As you lay here dying, my poison and my own cells are freely entering all of the pores in your body. I can even send my dark magic into your bloodstream and instantly end your life with my deadliest poisons, and then the eradication of all your cells will let me return to my original form from inside your body." Violara evilly explained to Risa from within her own mind, before making her body roughly fall on to its back.
Upon seeing that Violara made her body move on purpose to make the poison flow faster, Risa tried to think to herself in a frustrated manner, "I... I can't let this dark magic overtake me! I need to create some fire, and-"
"You just need to let yourself die. If you're gaining my poison, then you're also gaining my physical strength from me being much stronger. Of course, it won't do you any good when you're resting in peace." Violara stated in a gentler manner from inside of Risa, before making herself take the form of a large mass of poison that started to move throughout her opponent.
Risa felt too sick and disoriented to fight back, letting the witch's poison start to take the form of poisonous smog that came from the tears in her eyes. Violara simply closed Risa's puffy and red eyes by using her Darkness Magic to control Risa's body, and she aggressively made her poisonous gases and sludge go down Risa's throat. She didn't even give Risa a moment to breathe while making the poison reach her bloodstream, and Violara smiled happily as the poison left behind small clones of herself that were forming like parasites.
They all trickled down beside the real Violara, before spreading the poison throughout the rest of Risa's body. Violara even exhaled large breaths against Risa's heart, which was already engulfed in a dark magenta aura. The poison was intended to make her heart be sickly enough to the point of no longer beating, and the poison gas started to become sludge that made it palpitate at a much faster rate. Risa's heart only ended up beating faster as Violara sent poisonous mist into the bloodstreams for her arms and legs, making the red liquid become Heather purple as the blood was now pumping faster to them, and Violara's cells stayed behind in each area to make the poison spread.
Risa couldn't even scream in pain as Violara felt like a giant lump of a virus moving throughout different parts of her body, and the high amount of heat combined with feelings of high blood pressure made her feel sharp pains throughout each area of her body. When Risa felt Violara push herself down into her abdomen, the sharp amount of pain made Risa cough up some poison as she felt a large amount of Darkness Magic being applied to her stomach. As Risa gained eight-pack abs during this moment where her muscles, breasts, and ass began to grow, she fought through the pain and paralysis to send all of her remaining Psychic Magic back towards her shadow by aiming her left hand at it. Despite Risa doing that, she heard Violara's poison start to detonate with intense heat from within her body like a severe fever while the high blood pressure was at a dangerous level to where Violara's final breath of poison made her opponent's heart become Heather purple and sickly before the aura of Risa's magic faded away. Upon seeing Risa's heart stop beating, Violara evilly smirked at how she seemingly ended her opponent's life.
Violara used her Darkness Magic to entirely become poison gas, and she exited out of Risa's mouth. She quickly reformed herself to be back in her physical form, and she stared down at the girl who had her eyes closed while her skin remained pale. The sickly and dead wizard interestingly had no shadow, but that didn't bother Violara. She aimed the Sludge Smog spell down at Risa, preparing to strike her with an attack that would obliterate her corpse, but she saw Risa's body be set ablaze! Risa laid down on the ground, motionless as she was engulfed in dark magenta flames, and the flames started glowing brightly to where they produced several shadows.
Risa slowly emerged from one of the shadows, her body being back to normal and undamaged while her hair and eyes were in a darker variation of dark magenta. She had activated a spell called Psychic Transference of Dark Shadows, and that spell simply allowed Risa to reform herself from within a shadow. Although, the requirement involved sending all of her remaining Psychic Magic down into a shadow. Risa had been able to heal herself down in the depths of the darkness, as she was surrounded by shadows that could be eaten, and becoming a shadow unintentionally nullified Violara's poison.
Shadows that weren't infused with any other elements couldn't be poisoned, and Risa would gladly use that tactic to her advantage. She activated the spell called Psychic's Dark Magenta Burning Rei, and Risa made dark magenta flames heavily engulf her left fist. She struck Violara in the stomach, causing the other woman to have scorching hot dark magenta burns on her body, and Risa wasted no time with unleashing the spell called Psychic Magenta's Shadowy Judgement of Heaven and Hell. Risa created a dark magenta sphere in her right hand, but it soon alternated between that color and the regular shade of magenta. The normal hue of magenta was pertinent to lesser effects whilst the sphere was eerily casting shadows, but coating it with the remaining flames caused the sphere to gain more strength when it became dark magenta.
That didn't stop Violara from unleashing a spell called Poison Sludge Fog, and she winced in pain from the burns while applying Darkness Magic to her hands. She gently let them brush against her stomach, sending magic into it for an immense amount of purple sludge to be formed. She leaned back, before feeling the large wave of nausea quickly rise up from her gut. Violara shot out a large purple tidal wave from her mouth, smiling deviously as she saw the Heather purple clouds of poison gas emerging from it. She expected it to drench all of her opponents, poisoning them with deadly toxins in the process.
"Why are you so afraid to die? Isn't it wonderful to be a witch or warlock who receives endless bliss after death?" Violara asked with a mean smirk on her face, believing that her opponents were cowards for not wanting to die.
Risa responded with a stern facial expression, as she stretched out her right hand, "Dying may bring you happiness, but I don't agree with that viewpoint because I value my life!"
"That's a shame, in my opinion. If the goddess is overhearing this, then she certainly won't bless you by letting you perish in such a poisonous and wonderful place." Violara responded with a disappointed look on her face, feigning concern as Risa's dark magenta sphere clashed with the tidal wave.
When Risa's fiery and strengthened attack touched the tidal wave, the violet gunk became dark magenta and it was redirected towards Violara's shadow. The shadow slowly moved outward while Violara herself became immobilized from the spell's effect, and she even saw Risa repel the poison gas. Rogue decided to slash at the air with Shadow Dragon's Slash, feeling sick as he attacked it with several black shadows, and Rogue sickly coughed as he wanted to test out a theory. He believed that the poison gas would explode without damaging him in this situation, since Risa's shadowy form couldn't be poisoned.
Right before anything could happen, Rogue activated Shadow Drive to make a black aura of shadows engulf his entire body. He watched his shadows clash with the poison gas, seeing Heather purple explosions in midair, and the moment that he began to become a black shadowy silhouette was the moment where Rogue noticed that the poisonous clouds weren't affecting him. Even if he inhaled air right now, he was still an intangible shadow that a poisonous virus couldn't touch. Therefore, any remnants of Violara's attack would be futile against him.
Rogue watched Violara get struck by the poison, which was now dark magenta, and it made a large blast occur! The dark magenta blast obscured the somewhat smaller Heather purple blast that was inside of it, and Risa smiled confidently upon seeing Violara be caught in the blast. She slowly walked out of it, her body looking badly bruised and burnt as her clothes were torn. However, it didn't seem like she was willing to let this fight end with her being defeated. She inhaled some of the dark magenta and Heather purple clouds of smoke, before the high amount of heat in the smog made her begin to perspire. As she made the smog in those colors begin to heavily coat her fists, she looked at Risa while charging up more Darkness Magic.
"No matter how much you alter your Psychic Magic, it can still be manipulated by a witch who uses Darkness Magic. You were a fool to try striking me with my own spell." Violara told Risa in a rude tone, expressing superiority as arrogance entered her eyes.
Upon seeing the dark magenta magic in Violara's left hand grow larger to where it almost resembled a tornado of smog, Risa exclaimed fiercely as she tried to think of a quick plan, "Magenta's Soul Eradication Bomb!"
"Requiem of Darkened Smog!" Violara fiercely stated, as she saw Risa create a dark magenta sphere in her left hand.
The two women slammed their attacks against each other, both of them being very powerful, but Violara slyly infused more Darkness Magic into her left fist. The slight appearance of the Heather purple aura meant that some poison was being put into the attack, and the spells ended up detonating at the same time. Risa was sent flying backwards, her hair and eyes returning to the normal appearance of dark magenta from how Violara's explosive spell that contained Psychic Magic did manage to injure her.
Risa was heavily bruised by the attack that contained some of her own magic, and she slowly stood up to see that she was now on the marshy ground that had still been poisoned. She couldn't evade the toxins, feeling the Darkness Magic enter her body again. Although, not having any boosts in physical strength from Violara caused Risa to feel very sick as if she had a weak immune system. The explosions had also been blowing poisonous gases all around the battlefield, causing Risa to inhale them while also inhaling any particles of sludge that were heated up enough to become gas in the air.
She watched Sorano cough up blood from becoming sick, having inhaled the poisonous air as time naturally passed, and Risa gasped in shock as Sorano turned around to use a spell called Angel's Wish. Sorano made two light blue and feathery wings come down upon Risa, before the light blue aura healed her body. However, the sight of some light blue coins vanishing and Sorano wincing in pain made Risa realize that Sorano nearly used the last of her magical power to heal an ally. Healing was normally something that Risa would do, but now she was in a situation where healing allies in a race against toxicity and time wouldn't be plausible.
Risa wasted no time with applying Psychic Magic to her feet, and she began to run at high speeds. Risa made the dark magenta aura surround more of her body, and she ran towards Violara. That only prompted Violara to activate the spell called Toxic Smog Punch, and she tried to strike Risa with her right fist. However, Risa blocked the attack with her right palm while attempting to absorb it with her Psychic Magic. Risa closed her eyes, allowing the psychic energy of her mind help her with producing dark thoughts.
She began to embrace the Darkness Magic, allowing herself to have the evil idea of stealing Violara's magic. In a few seconds, Risa's palm absorbed the potent poison while simultaneously making it become dark magenta. That didn't stop Violara from unleashing the spell known as Venom Gunk Wave, and the close-range version of this spell required her to aggressively put her hands on Risa's shoulders while dislocating them. The moment that Risa had a pained look in her eyes was the moment where Heather purple poison seeped from Violara's palms, looking like a mixture of sludge and thick glue. It went down into the pores of Risa's shoulders, essentially hardening as it touched her muscles to be like heavy weights on her bosy that prevented her from putting her shoulders back into place.
Risa couldn't even move her shoulders without screaming, feeling like her bones would crack under the pressure, and she kept her right eye open as Violara made a large amount of poison roughly move from within her ankles to look like a much larger substance that she chewed when it got to her mouth. She immediately fired it from her mouth in the form of an Iris purple wave of sludge, completely drenching Risa and her entire outfit with the poison that had Heather purple clouds of steam coming out of it. Violara simply smirked in an arrogant manner and giggled, liking how this was an amount of poison that could eliminate giant monsters.
She watched Risa try to breathe, only for her to feel an intense amount of pain in her chest, and Violara even kept an eye on her as she dodged Rogue's Shadow Dragon's Roar. He decided to simply buy time for Risa to do something, feeling that the absorption from earlier was part of her plan. Risa soon closed her eyes, and she let Violara run up to her for the purpose of striking her with a spell called Chemical Venom Bubble. Violara exhaled seven Heather purple bubbles from her mouth, before they became dark lilac purple, and they roughly pushed themselves into Risa's chest like she was injected with heavy dosages of extremely potent poison. As Risa felt every part of her body experience tremendous waves of pain during these moments of dealing with a dangerous fever, perspiration, and dizziness as her ears loudly rang in a deafening tone, she felt everything around her start to spin. Risa fell to her knees, feeling exhausted as her skin became very pale, and she got to see that the side effect of Violara's spell made her breath become an intensely heated aroma that heavily poisoned the air as Violara calmly exhaled a deep breath of venom from her lips to express that she used one of her most powerful spells. As the dark magenta aura began to coat the newest scorching burns that were appearing on Risa's body like acidic liquid, Violara simply watched Risa slowly start falling to the ground with her vision starting to become Heather purple and foggy.
"The poison is just flowing throughout your body right now, and it's just taking away your life. Although, your dark version of Psychic Magic is powerful for you to be able to resist the poison for this long. You must relax after death, relaxing in the dark afterlife. When you see light, you'll likely be revived as a dark witch by the Gunjou Moon." Violara told Risa in a haunting and kind manner, as she watched Risa's final movements start to occur.
Upon being on her back and looking up at Violara starting to evilly smirk as Rogue's Shadow Drive lost too much magical power, Risa whispered to herself in what seemed like her final words, "Embrace... the.. dark."
Risa thought to herself in a peaceful manner, the Psychic Magic allowing her to envision her soul painlessly drowning beneath a sea of Violara's poisons, "I'm feeling fine. The poison... doesn't even hurt, really. I'm so glad that I let myself protect my friends for as long as possible. Still, this darkness feels wonderful. Sinking endlessly into poison and feelings of malice with no more pain. I embraced all that pain, just like in my training. Just like... a.. dark witch."
Taking in a witch's evil feelings, before just converting all of the poison into more magic for myself seems very vicious. That sounds as dark and evil as someone wanting me to feel blessed in a darkened afterlife. In fact, letting Violara kill me with her poison as a way to heal myself is just as dark. In the deepest depths of my emotions, everything negative and rage-filled... is telling me... to embrace the dark." Risa thought to herself with a disturbing smile on her face, letting her lips form an evil smile as she was feeling the last of her dark magic fully consume her in a dark magenta light.
She soon found herself back in the Heatherberry Swamp, her body feeling no pain as the Psychic Magic seemed to interpret her thoughts as blatant commands. She and Violara were both surprised to see all of the poison going into Risa's body, before the dark magenta aura glowed much brighter, and Risa's masterful control over the Psychic Magic allowed her to unlock a new spell of dark Psychic Magic called Magenta's Mind Over Matter. This spell made the dark magenta aura respond to Risa having any feelings of vengeance or malice, including evil thoughts that came from taking in a vicious enemy's magic, and those negative feelings were converted into more strength.
The poison in her body all became dark magenta, before it all began to fully heal her body. Rogue watched Risa's hair grow longer and unkempt while her teeth and fingernails became much sharper like fangs and nails that were dark magenta, and her left eye became dark lilac purple as her right eye became a more darker hue of magenta. Risa let herself get taken over by her magic, allowing her to use a spell called Ruinous Mind Mimicry. She shot out a large dark lilac beam that looked like Sludge Smog, which surprised Violara, but the attack resulted in a fiery explosion while its gas clouds made dark lilac sludge-resembling magma fall to the ground.
Violara immediately appeared within the attack, perspiring as she became heavily bruised, and she was panting heavily from trying to endure this attack. Even trying to use Sludge Smog only resulted in the poison beam exploding into poison gas right in front of her, and that poison gas resulted in Heather purple blasts occurring within the fire. This surprisingly made Violara be damaged by her own spell, her skin looking charred from Risa's flames being in the blasts, and Violara's spell only made that fire grow to dangerous levels of power as Risa evilly giggled with her hair obscuring her eyes.
Rogue asked the antagonist in a stern manner, getting ready to use Shadow Dragon's Slash, "Why in the world is Risa laughing like that?! What was in the last poisonous attack that hit her?!"
Upon touching the aura at the same time as Sorano to see themselves be fully healed, Kūkiatsu explained his quick analysis in a calm manner, "Judging by what had happened, I think Risa was trying to absorb Violara's magic because dark magenta can also be categorized as a shade of purple. The magic itself feels like it could belong to a dark-minded psychic who's accustomed to it, but I think it got overloaded from all of Violara's poison."
That analysis caused Sorano to comment in an astounded tone, looking at Risa in a scolding manner, "You've been using psychic energy that's dark magenta?! It's part of the Psychic Magic category, but it's full of dark spells! They feed on the user's negative feelings such as rage, hatred, vengeance, sadness, and any evil thoughts! Even the dark wizards in the Balam Alliance avoid it, since the dark magenta Psychic Magic allegedly gets sentience when it feeds on a huge feast of emotions!"
The sight of Risa continuing to viciously grin as she built up magical power made Sorano wonder if Yukino was seeing the dark magic convey Risa's emotions in a takeover of her mind when Risa reportedly went berserk in a fight against Kyoko, and Sorano refrained from expressing her doubts about a dark power being fully tamed by its wielder simply learning to not lose control of their own emotions. Even if Risa had only been frustrated or caring about protecting her friends, Sorano simply narrowed her eyes at how those feelings would intertwine with someone having dark or evil thoughts involving death.
She watched Risa unleash a spell called Magenta's Witchcraft Fog, and Risa simply fired a dark magenta cloud of fog from her mouth. The cloud was very thick, engulfing Violara, and she faintly saw the sight of Risa firing the spell again in a dark lilac hue of purple. She instantly felt immobilized by that kind of fog, which restricted her movement with the slightest amount of contact, but Violara widened her eyes from seeing it quickly become a dark lilac sphere that took the form of a solid orb. It ended up striking her directly, creating a massive dark lilac blast.
Violara was heavily bruised by the attack, which was followed by the dark magenta fog forming an eerie-looking ring in that color. The ring quickly compressed itself around Violara, before detonating in a massive dark magenta blast that had shadows coming out of it. The dark magenta shadows resulted from the blast creating a large burst of light in that color, and Rogue widened his eyes in a manner of realization as the shadows sent themselves into his attack. They reacted to any shadow-related spells as an aftereffect, powering them up like they were part of a witch's hex.
As Rogue struck Violara with an enhanced version of Shadow Dragon's Slash to make the shadows slash at various parts of her body, he noticed that the shadows of the wounds began to leave her body. They were replaced by black flames, which spread fire across her wounds for the purpose of causing more pain, and Violara gritted her teeth to keep herself from screaming. She didn't want to look weak in front of her army of witches, who were looking very shocked to see Risa and Rogue now have the upper hand against Violara in this fight.
Rogue activated a spell called Water Shadow Dragon's Rain, and a lapis blue aura engulfed his hands. He aimed them up at the sky for the purpose of shooting out a lapis blue orb that began to get coated in black shadows that rose up from the recent black fire, and Rogue aimed his hands at Violara. That caused the orb to descend down towards the powerful witch, and she attempted to counter it by using Poison Chloroform Burst. She shot out a Heather purple sphere of sludge from her mouth, which aggressively hit the orb for a smokescreen of Heather purple teargas to form from the collision.
That only caused Rogue's orb to burst into black rain that heavily fell down to Violara, and the drops of rain that hit the ground created shadowy black hands. They viciously rose up from the black puddles, before slamming themselves against Violara to create several lapis blue explosions that became onyx black. The hands felt just as dense as a high amount of water pressure, along with how they didn't melt from the teargas. If this spell hit someone who was already hit by magic involving shadows, its power and durability would significantly increase. Furthermore, the shadowy rain was immune to poison.
This didn't stop Violara from unleashing her next spell, which was known as Witch's Hexing Potent Poison. She aimed her right hand at the nearest bog in the Heatherberry Swamp, smirking in a devious manner, and everyone watched the muck aggressively rise up from the swamp like a wave. Violara casually opened her mouth, ingesting all of the poison, and she immediately swallowed it. This made the aura around her body be Heather purple, before it suddenly became dark lilac. She felt her body start to have more magical power, which was perfect for defeating all of the mages with explosive poison attacks or a tremendous amount of poison gas.
"This may be the only way for me to give you the sweet relief of death, since you seem to be avoiding it as much as possible. All that poison created a dark lilac heat wave in my stomach, but let's mix it with some Heather purple muck and smog." Violara explained to her opponents, having a mixture of blissfulness and sadism in her eyes as she quickly caressed her stomach in a counterclockwise circle with her right hand.
That prompted Risa to reply with an annoyed frown on her face, feelings of malice entering her eyes as she ignored Rogue getting near her to touch a heavy amount of the aura, "No matter how much more poison you conjure up, I just want to make it incinerate the swamp as a way of eradicating you."
Violara responded sternly, as she thought Risa was being very bold, "Let's just see how much poison you can handle."
She shot out a giant vortex of Heather purple sludge from her mouth while the vortex was coated with dark lilac flames matching the thick clouds of poison gas, and Violara watched the spell become a swamping wave of sludge that alternated between the two shades of purple. That prompted Risa to run up to the large attack, and she activated a spell called Witch's Psychic Dark Lilac Delirium. Risa fired a large vortex of dark lilac shadows from her mouth, seeing the zigzagging attack make Violara's giant spell start to make the poison slam against itself as if its wielder was being delusional, and Risa's vortex of dark lilac shadows grew larger from absorbing Violara's malicious feelings that were in the spell.
That didn't stop Risa from feeling just as evil, and she unleashed the spell called Hexed Magenta Dark Beautiful Flair Beam. Risa fired five dark magenta beams from the fingertips of her right hand, and she aimed them at the wave of sludge. When this attack brushed up against Risa's previous spell that was growing larger from taking in some poison, the dark magenta beams increased in size and became coated with dense spiraling beams that were in a hot shade of purple. Risa watched all of her attacks puncture through the giant wave of poison, gaining more power in the same moment where they hit Violara.
The poison-wielding mage let out an agonizing scream of pain from being engulfed in six massive blasts that shifted between dark magenta, dark lilac, and hot purple as if they had been part of a fusion spell. Since they had hit her at the same time with their dark magic merging together, these spells were technically fused together by Risa. She watched the aftereffect of this spell involve hot purple shadows forming on the ground, stretching outward with dark lilac orbs slowly emerging from them. As the orbs became dark magenta for a moment, both of Risa's eyes returned to that color while her appearance changed back to normal.
"I... managed to... protect everyone." Risa stated aloud while panting with an extreme amount of exhaustion in her voice, her body feeling very tired.
Upon feeling her body suddenly burn up more energy from the thoughts and emotions of hatred and anger being eliminated, Risa thought to herself as her entire body felt an intense amount of pain from unleashing too much of the feelings of malice, "Violara's poison and my magic... I can't push my body any further, since the mixture... isn't fully stabilized. I used... too much magical power."
As all of the smoke lingered around the entrance to the Heatherberry Swamp, Violara weakly stated in an exhausted manner during her attempt at trying to shakily stand up, "You... can't... win. Enjoy your... last moments... before.. death."
Violara's spell ended up striking the ground, crashing violently like a tsunami slamming down past the shore, and her tired opponents were all caught in the poisonous waves. Rogue noticed that his exhausted girlfriend's hair changed back to being magenta. Risa no longer had enough power to maintain her dark magenta form, and she groaned in a tired manner as they were swept underneath the poison together. Rogue inhaled most of the poisonous liquid, believing that the lungs of a dragon slayer would help him survive.
In order to give Risa a slight chance of surviving in the acidic water, Rogue attempted to cover her body with his own body as he gently kissed her on the lips. Rogue closed his eyes, feeling that they would die together. He soon felt the dark magenta aura from earlier engulf himself and Risa, almost like it responded to his thoughts of dying soon, and the heated aura began to suck all of the poison into it. The poison also failed to harm Sorano and Kūkiatsu, since they had touched the aura at earlier points in the fight for it to engulf them now, and they watched the aura around Rogue and Risa grow larger from how it was altering the effects of all the poison that they inhaled.
Rogue's deep breath managed to eliminate most of the sludge wave, but he and Risa both lacked the amount of magical power that was necessary for keeping the dark magenta aura in a stable form. The same could be said for Kūkiatsu and Sorano, who both fell to their knees while feeling exhausted, and having their wounds healed was the best kind of remedy for them right now. Sorano looked over at Violara, who weakly walked over to Risa. She saw Risa softly return Rogue's kiss, before the pink-haired girl struggled to stand. She was panting just as heavily as Violara, both of them feeling pushed to their limit.
That left both women with only a small amount of magical power able to be built up, and the magenta aura coated Risa's left fist while Violara's right fist was coated in a dark lilac aura. Violara swung her fist towards Risa, who quickly retaliated by thrusting her fist forward. The sound of two powerful punches could be heard by everyone who was inside or near the town of Gunjou, and anyone who saw this quick battle of brute force got to witness the sight of dark lilac liquid dripping on to the ground like it was poison.
The toxicity-filled fist managed to hit Risa in the chest, having occurred only a mere second before Risa's weaker punch slammed into Violara's stomach, and both women winced in pain. Neither one of them wanted to hold back, as Risa was trying very hard to protect her friends, and Violara just wanted to make them all quickly experience death. She frowned at Risa, who seemed to smile victoriously while her eyes displayed feelings of confidence and exhaustion. Her desire to keep on living disgusted Violara, who had been satisfied with dying if the town's moonlight could revive her in whatever physical form that the dark goddess deemed as being acceptable.
Violara endured Risa's harsh punch long enough for her body to be standing, and she watched the confident woman fall forward. Risa was very fatigued, no longer having any magical power, and her way of embracing dark magic only resulted in a powerful mixture of dark spells that had the drawbacks of pain and energy drainage from overusing emotional boosts such as vengeance or hatred. The psychic wizard's mind and heart hadn't naturally been tempered to feel those kinds of emotions, and Risa hadn't been trained as a dark mage.
That greatly contrasted with Violara, who spent her days of living as a dark mage and soulless days as a dark witch with always putting malice and sadism into her spells of Darkness Magic. She merely frowned at Risa in a stern manner, seeing the pink-haired woman's head slightly rising up off of the ground. She watched Risa's left fist weakly rise up to softly touch the bottom of her dress, signifying that Risa was still trying to grapple with her in a close combat situation, but Violara started to softly smile as her punch involving the spell called Witch's Hexed Toxic Anesthesia began to take effect. Risa's hand began to softly let go of her dress, and Violara watched her opponent start to be overcome with feeling very poisoned while feeling an urge to fall asleep.
"Prior to you, no one ever pushed me so far in a fight. Your spells weren't bad, psychic mage, and you almost won. Although, you should probably strengthen your usual level of hatred if you wish to actually kill any of us. That dark magenta magic has been spoken of in myths, but a dark psychic isn't on the level of a dark witch." Violara told Risa in a stern manner, having a mix of praising and patronizing feelings in her eyes.
Risa responded softly, trying to stay awake as she looked up at Violara, "You... almost... killed us. I've... killed people, too."
"Did you only do it with your dark magenta magic? Doesn't that mean you lack the necessary killer instinct to burn me into ashes, even though my poisonous spells harmed your friends?" Violara asked with a rude smile on her face, before squatting down beside Risa to ask her second question with a small and taunting smile.
Risa weakly responded, seeing her vision become purple and get blurry as Violara's poison was growing as time passed, "I'm.. going.. to protect.. them."
"You couldn't even save yourself from harm, yet you kept trying to protect them. If we had battled inside the Heatherberry Swamp throughout most of this fight, they would've all died from most of the muck and poisonous fumes. Even near the entrance, you didn't keep the poisons in the air away from them. A morally good leader ensures the safety of her subordinates, as well as herself. You're an emotional leader with bad judgment, not even fully letting your magic expose your evil self." Violara philosophically argued back, smirking evilly as she whispered her words in Risa's ear with her poisonous breath adding insult to injury.
Violara added in a condescending manner, slowly shaking her head in disapproval at Risa's failure to win as she put a hand under Risa's chin to see the unconsciousness in her eyes, "You're unwilling to fully commit yourself to the evil nature of the dark magenta magic, and you refuse to control the levels of malice and disgust that you absorbed. I could sense it from your spells, as you didn't want them to be enhanced and tainted by my vicious emotions for very long. If I had been a queen who held your friends hostage, even your slightly evil nature would've been overridden by your heart's feelings making you refuse the offer of letting me poison you to the point of you becoming my newest dark witch after your death."
Upon hearing no more arguments from Risa as her body was now trying to rest, Violara merely smiled in a sadistic manner as she heard the other woman softly let out a pained breath. Violara felt glad that she was able to state her points through psychological torture, which was ironically inflicted on someone who used Psychic Magic, and she slowly stood up to walk away. Her breath had just as dangerous as her last strike, both forms of poison containing each kind of toxin that was used in this fight.
Violara heard Risa's body move around in pain from the heat, toxicity, and intensity of her dark magic. She looked back for a moment to see some tears fall from Risa's eyes, which actually happened a result of her unconsciously rolling towards the Heatherberry Swamp to ingest its poison and extremely hot smoke that had been in the air. Violara simply walked back into the swamp, feeling tired as she wanted to finally get some sleep for a few hours during this day. She and Mauveria had both been instructed to keep tourists out of Gunjou Town, and the explosions in the Wisteria Wasteland made her think that a large group of tourists were trying to break through both of Gunjou's alternate entrances to cause havoc in the town.
Although, she at least felt pleased to have stopped this group from destroying the Heatherberry Swamp. Violara thought that Risa's team intended to trespass into her swamp, since Kūkiatsu had been the person who countered her Heather Violet Knife Cloud spell with the Tempest Wind Slash attack. He wasted no time with running after her, creating an attack in his left hand, and the tornado that leaned forward as it rotated had been a new spell called Wind Aero Lock. Kūkiatsu may have been tired, but he had built up just enough magical power for a somewhat large attack of Wind Magic as he narrowed his eyes. He watched the poisonous air touch the attack, only for it to get repelled away from him, and this was an explosive attack that could temporarily nullify magic. Upon sensing his magic and locking eyes with Kūkiatsu, Violara merely frowned in an uninterested manner.
"In case you were dead throughout most of the fight, I'm out of magical power and I feel too weak for anything other than mind games. If you're wishing to avenge your friend, go ahead and hit me. Of course, my revival from Gunjou's moonlight just means I'm letting you win our little fight." Violara rudely explained to him with a stern and annoyed facial expression, placing her hands on her hips.
Kūkiatsu responded just as sternly, striking her in the chest with his attack for it to explode in a burst of mint green winds, "That's fine with me! Although, you shouldn't have thought we were trespassing! Our job was just to escort Miko to the gate that was past the Heatherberry Swamp! However, I don't appreciate you talking bad about Risa and never officiating poisons that I haven't seen from any plants in Fiore! You use psychological torture, and you've got unreported research data on poisons! In my philosophy, you're extremely unethical!"
That prompted Violara to reply in a somewhat arrogant manner, wanting to humor the mage who was now panting heavily from unleashing that attack, "Since you're now in my swamp and you'll inhale a high amount of poisons, I guess you're brave enough to be attacking me in hopes of receiving some good consequences."
"I want you to give me the antidote for all of the poisons that harmed my friends, and I especially want the antidote to help Risa overcome her poisoning." Kūkiatsu demanded with a fierce look in his eyes, watching Rogue tightly hug Risa as he didn't want her to die.
Violara replied with a calm facial expression, before asking an important question as she saw Sorano walk into the swamp and be away from the girl who was becoming more sickly pale, "As much as you value the idea of her surviving, the antidotes would take some hours to concoct from using my poisons to create a cure. Are you prepared to offer something of value for wasting my time, if she dies?"
"As someone who was in Oracion Seis, I'm happy to tell you that the circumstance of Risa being revived as a dark witch under your command in a dark guild would be something you'd want. If she dies, the girl whose philosophy you proved as being wrong will end up being your newest faithful and powerful servant. You could even train her in how to wield her dark magenta magic in ways where she's truly a psychic who can use Darkness Magic like any dark witch who admires you enough to fuse their magic with yours." Sorano persuasively told Violara with a soft smile that feigned immense generosity in this trade, seeming happy to negotiate.
Sorano added in a calm manner, sweetening the offer as she recalled Rogue's black flames, "Also, Sabertooth will even let Rogue join Hexing Enchantress. He's Risa's boyfriend, but imagine their wedding featuring dark magenta magic and black flames around the darkest purple altar in this poisonous swamp where they find eternal bliss after both dying here under the Gunjou Moon. A revived dragon slayer of shadows with an evil future self, and a dark witch with psychic power as his vicious bride. Violara, you'd be one of the first invited guests for helping both mages express how they truly found love through being guided by an evil and smart sorceress such as yourself."
The tempting conditions caused Violara to arrogantly respond, feeling that Sorano made a good deal, "Well, you're very confident to make a risky deal like that. I see no interest in breaking my word, since you won't blindly trust me. As one of the strongest arcanists in Gunjou, I can prepare several magic antidotes to administer them later. If there's anything you'd still worry about after a miracle, I'd just say that Risa needs to learn how to fight with more feelings of rage and hatred instead of relying on anger alone when using dark magenta magic. After all, I agree with the myths that claim how psychic mages made the wrong choice in taking the path of mostly not being evil. It's a revolting kind of magic to us, as they descended from dark warlocks and nefarious witches."
Kūkiatsu and Rogue both felt like they needed to argue against the deal that Sorano just made with Violara, but Sorano simply walked over to Risa while Violara walked back to her run-down house. Rogue glanced at the house, doubting that an arcanist or a doctor would even want to live in the Heatherberry Swamp. Still, handing over Risa's pale body to a former dark mage such as Sorano seemed like the best solution for healing Risa right now. The criticism about how his girlfriend lacked enough hatred and vengeance to win wasn't just a blow dealt to her magic, however.
Risa may have passed out, but tears were now forming in her eyes from how her heart was in emotional pain. Not only did Violara whisper harsh words that disgusted Risa from feeling that she was wrongfully lectured about protecting people by a dark sorceress, but hearing that her dark magenta magic was part of an evil category of magic only made her heart and mind have the sorrowful feelings of someone who foolishly kept trying to avoid the fate of being evil for it to possibly amount to nothing. That was compounded with the revelation of how she needed more vengeance and hatred in her heart to make her most powerful kind of magic become strong enough to just defeat a gatekeeper such as Violara, so Risa felt like she was very weak for not giving in to her berserk side.
However, the worst part of Violara's criticisms stemmed from how she viewed Risa as a bad leader who couldn't protect her friends. That criticism was echoing in Risa's mind, waves of despair making her chest feel tight as her heart was in pain from feelings of inadequacy. She couldn't even have the last opinion in the argument, almost like Violara signified that a dark witch had superiority over a psychic mage. Risa now had her life in the hands of Violara, who now just viewed her as one of the wizards who had been on a job, and Sorano carried Risa through the swamp towards Violara's house. It only had small Heather purple flames on dark lilac candles, which were near the edges of window panes in the dimly lit house, and the light of darkness from the Gunjou Moon softly shined down towards Risa as it seemed like the dark goddess was also wanting to observe the outcome of her fate.
How was Chapter 60? Feel free to tell me your thoughts on it. Rogue's group technically won against Violara, due to her starting the fight against Kūkiatsu and forfeiting against him in the end. Although, it may not feel like a victory for Risa and this loss will actually be important for her character development in becoming the most mature princess. Speaking of princesses and queens, the suggested idea from Sorano about Risa becoming a dark witch in servitude to Violara for her friends to be unharmed is a little reference to the original script for this point in the arc. Furthermore, Risa was supposed to willingly become Violara's evil apprentice. Hence, that unused plot point is incorporated into Violara displaying superiority towards Risa during their fight and it's also incorporated into Risa embracing the dark nature of her magic and the negative emotions that it feeds on. Anyway, this is the third part of the Mauve Darkness Arc! I'll update as soon as possible. :)
