Chapter 66: The Purple Nightclub Under Gunjou's Moonlight! Risa & Rogue vs. Kajino & Rairakku! Thrilling Dance Battle of Witches & Warlocks!

Miko watched Lucy and Sting leave the doorway of the Spectral Tower's entrance, both of the mages being tired from the recent battle. Sting remained calm as he sniffed the air, trying to detect Kusabue's scent. His nose picked up on Kusabue's location, and Sting started to run back towards the Wine Woods. Lucy quickly ran beside him as fast as she could, not wanting her friend's Sound Magic to excessively injure anymore mages. In fact, Lucy really hoped that no one would end up provoking Kusabue with her current temper seeming to be berserk.

Lucy sensed high amounts of Sound Magic in the area near the border between the woods and the tower, almost like Kusabue had been attacking any dark mages who approached her. However, the attack that landed in front of the Spectral Tower didn't make it blatantly clear as to where she was. Sting decided to run back to the Spectral Tower, before going down a nearby alley that was to the right of it. This alley of Gunjou Town was plum purple with some businesses have their signs hung from the doorways, but the smell of coffee coming from one establishment began to confound Sting.

Despite the fact that he had enhanced hearing and a sensitive nose, Sting started to look frustrated at how Kusabue was likely applying Sound Magic to her feet. That made it difficult to pinpoint her scent, since moving at high speeds would make her scent now be moving on the wind, and Kusabue also wasn't making her attacks occur in a way where they left behind a trail. Therefore, it would be hard to easily find her in the town of Gunjou. However, Sting slightly smiled from the relieving factor of how there were other Sabertooth mages who could encounter Kusabue.

If they could calm her down, then Sting felt like that would also open a window of opportunity for him to start looking for more information regarding Maruberiki. Not only did Sting want to drag that man out from wherever he had been hiding, but finding out about Maruberiki's personal life could possibly provide a clue for saving him. Although, Sting himself was still a bit exhausted while Lucy needed some time to regain her magical power. As they both looked at each other in a puzzled manner like a pair of artists who accidentally left their paintbrushes in a different studio, they were interrupted by some noises coming from the other end of the alley.

"I've just lost my passion for making music." A teenager's voice stated in a depressed tone, before he proceeded to not put much effort into his beatboxing.

Upon reaching the other side of the alley to find him next to a cafe's entrance, Sting confidently told the teenage wizard with plum purple hair, "You know, the musical beats would sound better if they flowed with a person's song."

"That's easy for you to say. I'm good at beatboxing, but I can't hear anyone singing with passion in their voice." The mage replied with a saddened facial expression, before beatboxing in an obsessed manner out of frustration.

Lucy glanced at the wizard's hair that was short while the front of it formed a messy fringe, and he wore a grape purple jean jacket with dark plum purple jeans. They matched his plum purple sneakers, which complimented the grape purple frames of his square glasses. He glanced back at Lucy, giving a sad look to her attire, and that only made the green-haired girl start to walk away from him. She headed towards the front door of the cafe, preparing to open the plum purple door. However, the possibility of being attacked by the owners during a guild war made Lucy have second thoughts about that idea.

Instead, she decided to be calmer than Sting and Miko in this situation by gently closing her eyes. If she couldn't rely on her eyes to find Kusabue, then she would need to use her ears and think like a mage who wielded Sound Magic. The stranger's beatboxing didn't bother her, as he had moved to the alley, and Lucy started to sense something strange. His sounds of beatboxing appeared to be carried on the air itself towards a powerful scream, which resulted in a shamrock green blast occurring. It soon grew larger, almost like Kusabue manipulated her own spell to be amplified by any sounds that traveled on the path towards it.

She must've been pulling sounds towards her spells, almost like she was crazily using her Sound Magic as a magnet for other sounds to be pulled to it, and the sounds of dark mages screaming in pain didn't exactly make Lucy feel happy about Kusabue's mental state. As Lucy was about to run off and try to pinpoint the location of that large blast, an older man with neatly-combed and long Sangria purple hair reaching his shoulders emerged from the cafe. He wore a grape purple tuxedo while holding a bouquet of light grape purple roses in his left hand, and his right hand held a heart-shaped box of cupcakes that had been in an Eminence hue of purple. The man looked at the four mages with feelings of curiosity in his Heather purple eyes, but seeing Lucy made his eyes suddenly widen in shock.

"Excuse me, woman with the green hair! You're so beautiful! I love you, and I'll do anything for you!" He stated to Lucy in a pleading tone, as he took one of the roses from the bouquet to have it in his hand during this moment where he got down on his knees.

Sting responded with an annoyed facial expression, as he stepped in front of his girlfriend, "Hey, back off! Lucy is my girlfriend, you creep!"

Lucy told the man in a calm tone, frowning as she viewed information about Maruberiki as being more important right now, "You'd do anything for me? If possible, could you tell me where I might find info on Maruberiki's past?"

That prompted the man to reply in a calm manner, looking surprised as he blushed at Lucy's beauty, "I almost forgot to introduce myself! I'm Koibito Airashī, my lady! I'm a charming man, but I will gladly be of service to you! Maruberiki isn't close friends with anyone, but his first art studio near the harbor was where he created some interesting works of art!"

After Lucy politely bowed her head to express thanks for Koibito, she was comically pulled away by Sting as the dragon slayer proceeded to run as fast as he could. Miko hastily followed them, leaving Koibito to go back into the cafe with a slightly less depressed look on his face from how Lucy was the first tourist who hadn't been freaked out by his advances. Instead, she nicely listened to him without seeming like he was a repulsive person. That made Koibito start to think that he could possibly regain the passion that he once had for charming several of the single women in Gunjou.

None of them had been coming to the cafe, which had actually been owned by him, and that made him feel like his business lost its purpose of creating delicious desserts that could appeal to beautiful women. However, Lucy unintentionally seemed to give him a much-needed burst of confidence. Koibito kept the memory of her green hair in his mind, smiling as he looked up at the tower's satellite dish to see it continue being engulfed in a green aura. In fact, he even thought about trying to charm women with mint green cupcakes being a new recipe that he would need to learn.

He left the beatboxer outside, not minding that the teen with no passion for music went back to his hobby that he didn't seem to love. This wizard felt that his beatboxing would be much better in a situation where it accompanied someone singing, and even the sound of an instrument would at least provide some kind of melody. As he was about to start beatboxing again, the loud sound of music blaring from Gunjou's nightclub caught his attention. Since it seemed like the people in that nightclub couldn't even find the right song for them to dance to, he was slightly curious if someone could revive the thrilling beats of the nightclub that was usually visited by Gunjou's mages who were adults.

Meanwhile, at Gunjou Town's nightclub...

Risa and Rogue walked into the nightclub, which was a Sangria purple building that had been made from bricks while the tiled floor was eggplant purple. The two mages went through the royal purple door, which had no security guards around it, and they were followed into the dark doorway by a certain teammate. The dark purple lighting of the hallway seemed to make Rogue worried, as he built up some magical power for the possible situation of an enemy ambushing him. He narrowed his eyes in a stern manner, continuing to walk until he and Risa approached a pair of dark purple doors.

Rogue pushed open the doors for him and Risa to see that this was a large room that had Sangria purple carpeting with eggplant purple walls to match. The round tables were in an Eminence shade of purple, looking as royal as the alcohol bottles that were situated on them while they were in varying shades of purple. However, walking over to the nearest table allowed Rogue to find out that he picked up a full bottle of liquor. The alcohol hadn't been consumed, almost like the nightclub wasn't catering to customers right now.

The mages of Hexing Enchantress couldn't exactly be leisurely people while they were trying to fight against wizards from Sabertooth, and only a few mages could be heard walking into the nightclub. Rogue's enhanced hearing allowed him to sense that only three people were coming in, and Risa turned around for a moment to see that one of those people applied the Sangria purple aura of Darkness Magic to their feet. They were quickly running down this hallway, prompting Risa to quickly use Violara's scrunchie as a way of putting her hair in an upwards ponytail.

She didn't want her hair to get messed up from the gust of wind that was a result of the mage moving fast, and catching a glimpse of that woman allowed Risa to see that she somewhat looked familiar. When that woman slowed down to start walking towards the lavender-colored mixer that had a wine purple disc on it, Risa took notice of the woman who had lavender highlights in her black hair. She wore black fishnet leggings over her thick thighs, along with a black choker around her neck, and she now wore dark purple eyeshadow on her eyelids. The dark purple eyeshadow went well with her eggplant purple corset, which had a lavender brooch just above her cleavage, and that brooch matched her bracelets that were made from lavender pumpkin-shaped beads. Those beads went well with her deep Heather purple skirt, which complimented her Heather purple high-heeled shoes.

"Kajino, did you like that song?" Rairakku asked with a calm look on her face, as she looked upstairs at a Sangria purple door that was shut.

A man's voice responded in an irritated manner, "I hate that track, Rairakku! I can't even dance to something that has a discordant bridge in the song! Go find another track! After you're done with that modeling gig for the day, buy a Music Lacrima Crystal with some songs related to techno or house music!"

As she got behind the record mixer and was able to prepare herself for another night of entertaining customers, Rairakku looked up at Risa and Rogue to ask in a curious whisper, "What in the world do you want? Can't you see that we're not serving liquor right now? Also, did you see any hostesses show up yet?"

Rairakku continued, taking off of her headphones for the purpose of walking up to Risa, "Wait, aren't you that girl? You know, the psychic girl who got her ass kicked by Violara-san and told Minerva that the Heatherberry Swamp doesn't need poisonous hot springs or even have mud baths in the marsh?"

Wanting to be humble and bluff her way out of a confrontation in this public place, Risa nicely explained as she turned around for a moment to let Rairakku see the scrunchie, "Lady Violara gave me her scrunchie, after agreeing to teach me her darkest forms of Darkness Magic. Therefore, I'm totally serving under her and she asked me to be a hostess here. Although, I think my client would love to bathe in my poison or even be aroused enough to take a mud bath with me."

As Rogue's face started to genuinely blush pink at the thought of taking a bath with Risa, he watched Rairakku start to walk past them in a calm manner. She looked back at Risa for a moment, before motioning for her to follow. Risa simply obeyed those orders with Rogue walking by her side, and they went across the dance floor that was in a chessboard pattern of eggplant purple and light plum purple. This was the area for the dancers in the nightclub, since it didn't have a stage like the one from a town's bar where Risa previously worked.

Although, she was familiar with doing things such as going through a doorway that was concealed by Sangria purple curtains. This doorway led Risa to a room where a regular purple vanity was located, even having a circular plum purple mirror in the center of it, and there were several drawers filled with makeup. One drawer even had eyeshadow that was exclusively Heather purple, from what Rairakku was showing Risa. The pink-haired mage proceeded to sit down on the soft chair that had been in a mauve hue of purple, and she opened one drawer on the right to find some new lipstick dispensers in it.

She proceeded to pull out the lipstick dispenser that was dark magenta, causing her to lightly smile, and opening a drawer on the left side allowed Risa to find some cosmetics related to blush, foundation, and facial creams. Risa thought about also putting on some bows that were in the lowest left drawer, but the sounds of more people entering the nightclub made Rairakku gently walk Risa over to some dark purple lockers where they had uniforms for the hostesses. Risa humbly nodded in agreement, willing to wear the uniform, and she watched Rairakku open the locker that was the closest to the back wall.

"Miss, this is your uniform." Rairakku stated in a calm manner, as she slightly frowned.

Upon seeing that she would have to wear a Heather purple headpiece with a dark lilac corset, Risa responded in a kind manner as she smiled at the thought of purple clothing, "I'll gladly wear that outfit, instead of just wearing pink clothes all the time."

"All right, Violara-san's protege. You'll have to put on a show for customers in fifteen minutes. Hopefully, that will bring some happiness to the boss." Rairakku told Risa in a calm tone, before looking a bit worried as she had to go back to the record mixer.

Risa smiled and bowed her head in a subservient manner, before glancing at the corset and headpiece that were on violet coat hangers. Two other coat hangers had a pair of plum purple lacy panties on each of them, and there was also a coat hanger that had brown pantyhose with dark brown fishnet patterning nearby. Upon seeing that there were some Heather purple high heels with Iris purple roses on the fronts of them, Risa nicely smiled at how the shoes were very beautiful. That prompted her to let out a happy sigh, not minding that Rogue was still in the room.

He proceeded to turn his head towards the vanity, wanting to only see himself in the mirror as Risa took off her pajamas. She proceeded to unclasp her bubblegum pink bra, letting it fall to the floor, and Risa removed her pink shoes right before she pulled down her lacy bubblegum pink panties. She threw them down on to the floor, before her cheeks blushed light pink at how she was now naked while bending over with Rogue nearby. Risa hadn't told him to leave the room or refrain from looking at her when she was taking off her clothes, and Risa's lips formed a small and lustful smile.

She didn't seem to mind that Rogue was watching her walk around naked in front of him, and Risa even took a moment to calmly spin around for him. She ended the spin by having a seductive look in her eyes, blowing a kiss at Rogue, and she proceeded to walk towards him with a confident attitude like she was a model walking down the runway at a fashion show. When Risa got to Rogue, she giggled as her eyes took notice of his blushing face. Risa gently let one of her hands stroke his leg, before letting it playfully brush up against his groin, and Risa softly kissed Rogue's cheek as she chose to sit on his lap while feeling her breasts gently touch his chest.

Rogue let out a hot breath as he looked deeply into Risa's eyes, seeing that she also blushed at the thought of her own sexual desires, and Rogue allowed her to place her hand underneath his shirt. She felt his heart beating fast, almost like he was also new to the idea of them having sex in one of the nightclub's back rooms with a bed. He let his body lean back a bit in the chair, allowing Risa to push her body more against his while she blushed more at how her tight pussy was now pushed against Rogue's groin.

He felt relaxed in this moment, seeing the slight bit of nervousness in Risa's smile. Even if she felt like watching Rogue take off all of his clothes for them to be naked together, she was just as inexperienced as him when it came to romantic intimacy. Neither one of them usually had the passion for their lovemaking to escalate beyond kissing, but Risa just couldn't douse the fires that were brewing deep within her body. She let her mind think back to when she took a hot shower and felt more humble, but this urge for making love to Rogue just wouldn't easily subside.

She just let herself kiss his neck in a sultry manner, kissing it slowly before moving her mouth over to his lips. Rogue let Risa give him a passionate kiss, feeling her tongue start to enter his mouth, and Rogue's face blushed more from how he felt more aroused. He let his hands wrap around Risa's back, gently stroking it to where she elicited soft moans, and Rogue made one hand go down to gently caress Risa's large ass. He gently squeezed her ass, prompting Risa to break the kiss, and Rogue watched her pant slightly.

Risa blushed as she smiled in a seductive manner, and she unzipped Rogue's black pants. He pulled them down with one hand, allowing Risa to see his black and grey plaid boxers, and Rogue lightly gasped as Risa made one of her hands lightly stroke his abdomen before it went down to his groin. She let her hand go into Rogue's boxers, before moving his cock out of his pants. Risa smiled at how Rogue had an erection right now, feeling his large cock be hard, and she teased her boyfriend by being so close to him to where his penis was about to enter her pussy that was surrounded by a pink field of hair.

"Risa, if I... go in now, then.. you might get hurt." Rogue told Risa in a somewhat nervous manner, feeling his body get hot and sweaty from how his hard cock was about to penetrate Risa.

The thought of Rogue getting intimate with her for their first time of having sex made Risa blush more, and she let herself feel nervous enough to get off of him. As much as Risa may have wanted to express all of her sexual feelings towards Rogue, Risa recalled that she was currently on a time limit until Rairakku wanted her to perform for the guests. Risa hurriedly ran over to the locker, putting on the purple panties, before putting on the pantyhose that had fishnet patterning with dark brown straps accompanying the pantyhose. Risa proceeded to slowly put on the corset, liking how the fabric of the clothing felt good against her large breasts.

Rogue sweated more from how he hadn't taken his eyes off of Risa's body, liking how she had such a beautiful body to match her intelligent mind. He liked how her light pink hair looked beautiful under the defective ceiling light that was changing from illuminating the room in an eggplant purple color to now have the lighting look dark magenta, almost making Risa's hair start to look more magenta with some shades of purple in it. In this lighting, Risa looked like a beautiful queen who could be very bubbly while also being lustful like a seductive dark witch.

Rogue started to appreciate Risa's darker and more lustful side, as it could be useful in certain situations where she needed to behave as a dark witch for Rairakku to not attack her. He started to proudly smile at her, only to become flustered when she flirtatiously winked at him. Risa walked back towards Rogue with a kind smile on her face, hoping that he liked her current attire, and Risa held the final piece of clothing in her hand. She put on the headpiece, almost like a sexy maid who would be serving alcohol to the dragon slayer.

"If you're going to order some booze, then at least let me get some lipstick and look like I'm your waitress." Risa told Rogue with a cheerful smile on her face, happy to be getting into the role associated with her disguise.

Upon seeing Risa grab the dark magenta lipstick and apply it to her full lips, Rogue told his girlfriend while kindly smiling, "That shade of lipstick looks wonderful on you, Risa."

That prompted her to reply with a happy smile on her face, before sweetly kissing him on the cheek, "Thank you, Rogue! Anyway, wish me luck with performing on stage!"

As Risa walked out of the room, Rogue softly groaned as he managed to put his cock back into his boxer shorts. That didn't stop him from feeling pleasure, since looking in the mirror allowed him to see Risa's thick and large ass moving in a slow and sultry way. She even let her hips sway from side to side in a slow and seductive manner, causing Rogue to feel his blood traveling down to his pants. As Rogue's cock started to become more erect again, he felt like it would be better for him to move the mirror away from Risa to show that he was a wizard who had some decency.

Rogue's act of decency led to him pulling up his pants with one hand, but his other hand accidentally slid against the mirror. That strangely caused the mirror to retract to the right, which revealed that the mirror had a dark magenta interior. Although, what was hidden in the mirror seemed a bit more interesting. Rogue softly smiled at what appeared to be a disc for a phonograph or a record mixer, noticing how the disc would play a song called Thrills Under The Lunar Gunjou Sky, and that caused Rogue to wonder about an earlier conversation.

Rairakku actually had several records in a stack near the record mixer, noticing that the discs were in varying shades of purple, but she seemed to be missing one song. If this song was one that Kojino would want to hear, then Rogue was right to gently tap the top of the mirror. That made the thick mirror's glass slide back into place, concealing the disc again. Since the nearby curtains concealed the stage, Rogue got up from the chair and ran back towards the main room where Risa would be performing as a dancer for some of the nightclub's patrons.

Five minutes later, on the nightclub's stage...

Risa went on to the nightclub's stage during the same moment where Rairakku proceeded to play a song called Midnight Lust, and that song's music started to play in the same moment where light lilac spotlights shined down on Risa. She giggled in a sultry manner, before moving her hips from side to side in a fast manner, and Risa turned around as she began moving her large ass from side to side. She even placed her hands on her hips, allowing one side of her ass to move up while the other side moved down.

She decided to do this in front of Rogue, who sat at one of the tables that was closest to the stage, and Risa quickly spun around to softly blow a kiss at him. The crowd of warlocks and witches certainly liked how Risa was being very sexual, cheering loudly to where Rogue played along by sighing happily from Risa's seductive behavior. She proceeded to be more seductive by leaning forward, allowing everyone to see her cleavage and large breasts. She pushed her chest out while eliciting a loud moan, getting the crowd more aroused as her breasts bounced.

Risa proceeded to walk off of the stage, before slowly going towards Rogue with a sultry look on her face. She went around to one side of him, prompting the shadow dragon slayer to look in that direction while his back was no longer up against the chair. Risa gently grabbed one of Rogue's hands, placing it on her stomach, and helping him move it up towards one of her breasts for his palm to grope it. Risa moaned softly while blushing, and she performed this sexual act while getting on to Rogue's lap.

Rogue's face blushed red from seeing Risa get on to his lap again, and she proceeded to gently move her hips for her large breasts to be against his chest. Risa began to slowly move her ass from side to side, making Rogue start to sweat as he felt mesmerized by the sensation of her ass making his cock get erect again. Risa proceeded to giggle in a cute manner from feeling Rogue's cock be hard again, and she slowly turned around while placing her hands on to his legs. She started to push herself upward, blushing as she purposely let her ass be close to Rogue's face.

"You're sweating so... profusely when you look at my body." Risa told Rogue in a seductive manner, as the music reached its quietest part during the ending of the song.

The shadow dragon slayer responded in a flustered manner, truly perspiring as his strong sense of smell allowed him to pick up the scent of perfume that Risa sprayed all over her body this morning, "Well, you're...! I'm liking...! Your body smells as sweet as pink cherries!"

That prompted Risa to turn herself around and reply in a sultry tone, her voice sounding like a female villain who had strong desires for sex as she sat down on Rogue's lap right before letting her huge ass bounce and rub against Rogue's pants in a rhythm matching his breaths, "Your body's feeling so hot right now. You're complimenting me, but I'm a villainous dark witch and the way you're holding me just tells me that you want to take me to the Hexing Enchantress guild and have sex with me."

Upon feeling Rogue rub her huge ass and firmly press his hands into Risa's ass cheeks, she continued speaking with a lustful facial expression as she put a finger to his lips, "That's right. Just let your arousal reveal your lust, sweetie."

Risa further committed herself to her performance by rubbing one of Rogue's cheeks with her hand, before giving him a passionate kiss on the cheek. Upon receiving that kiss while Risa's other hand gently stroked his crotch, Rogue elicited a happy sigh. He felt more relaxed from Risa leaving sweet-smelling lipstick on his face, the black-haired male blushing more as one of his hands started to stroke both of her thighs. That caused Risa to playfully slap away his hand, not wanting him to be the only person who she would be appealing towards in the nightclub.

She got off of Rogue to walk back on to the stage, before sitting down on the stage to cross one leg over the other.. That caused several of the women and then to lustfully cheer for Risa, blushing as she began to sit in a meditating position while making her legs cover the view of her panties. Risa was being so sexual, yet also displaying that she also had some innocence by closing her legs. That made Rogue and the other audience members blush more, as Risa behaved like a professional dancer who could appeal to the nightclub's patrons.

Risa proceeded to spin around on one foot while feeling lustful enough to coat herself in the aura of dark magenta magic, and the sparkles of the aura that went out towards the crowd were very beautiful to see. Rogue even caught some of the sparkles in his hand while seeing Risa slow down with her spinning, noticing that her slow movements deliberately let all of the patrons in this room get a great view of her entire body. She began to move her hips from side to side while moving one of her fingers from side to side like it was a pendulum, almost as if she was an erotic dancer who wanted to hypnotize her audience.

"I... I..." Rogue thought to himself, looking flustered as his face blushed deep pink from how he couldn't take his eyes off of Risa's hypnotic dance.

After laying down on her stomach and using one hand to caress her own ass, Risa asked the audience members in a seductive manner before blowing a passionate kiss, "Do you want to massage my ass, or do you want to put your tongue in my mouth?"

"Wherever you put it, be sure to make me feel good." Risa stated in a sultry tone with one finger to her lips, having lust in her eyes as she got on her other hand and knees to wiggle her large ass towards the audience.

"You're so sexy, Witch-nee-sama!" One female mage from Hexing Enchantress shouted with joy in her voice, feeling pleasured and hypnotized from Risa moving her ass in a circular motion.

That statement was echoed by the audience members cheering loudly, loving Risa's sexual dance. Some of the dark mages even wondered how she still had a passion for dancing in this situation, thinking that she made sure to improvise when Rairakku stopped playing music. Rairakku did provide the sound of a record being scratched, hinting that this room's entertainment was now over. As some of the dark mages began to leave, they comically walked out with happy faces and blissful sighs from seeing Risa's dance.

Rogue stayed at the table, still enamored with Risa's beauty and sex appeal. His heart continued to beat at a fast pace, pumping out the blood that mainly traveled down to his pants, and Rogue continued to sweat. He could feel his body getting much hotter, along with how the room itself gained more heat from the patrons loving how Risa was like a sexy witch. Some women who felt their skirts and pants be sweaty from arousal joined some men in throwing their stacks of jewels at the dance stage, essentially paying Risa for pleasuring them.

Risa stood up for the purpose of picking up each stack of money, and she smiled at Rogue for a moment while feeling that she didn't need his money. In fact, his admiration towards the more lustful and devious parts of her personality were what made Risa feel very happy. Rogue didn't view her in a negative light for committing herself to this performance, as it was necessary for them both to not look suspicious. Rogue definitely did a great job of blending in with the other patrons, and one purple-haired waitress even came by the perspiring man's table to make him cool off a bit by having a glass of water.

Ten minutes later...

After Rogue finished drinking his water and let Risa sit down at the table, they were both looking curious about why Risa wouldn't have another scheduled performance. The patrons left the room as if it was within Gunjou's customs, and no one seemed to be interested in handing Rairakku one of the microphones that was on the back counter of the nightclub's bar. The bar for this room was made from Sangria purple wood while the chairs were eggplant purple, and the back counter was eggplant purple with lavender purple microphones on it.

The lavender purple microphones had lavender purple crystals on them as decorations, the crystals gleaming whenever the Gunjou Moon's light would come through the window to land on them. Risa looked over at the crystals, seeing thin beams of light shine from them like they were related to Darkness Magic. She proceeded to get up from her chair for the purpose of walking over to the microphones, and Risa made her dark magenta Psychic Magic engulf her body. She touched three microphones that were close together, sending her magic into them.

However, that immediately resulted in the crystals shining brighter while they all sent thick lavender auras of dark magic into Risa's body. She let herself absorb all of that magic, resulting in her darker spells of Psychic Magic getting amplified in power. Risa smiled nicely from seeing that, only to turn her head towards Rairakku for a surprising sight. The gothic woman started to twitch her left eye in an annoyed manner while she seemingly trembled in anger, almost like she was seeing Risa be the most insubordinate employee in the entire kingdom of Fiore.

Rairakku hurriedly walked over to Risa, before gently pushing her aside by firmly shoving one hand against the other woman's chest. Risa looked a bit irked by Rairakku seeming irritated, watching the other woman pick up one of the microphones that had been untouched. She gently wiped it off with her right hand, not wanting to breathe in any dust, and Rairakku tapped the microphone three times for it to let out a loud screech. It nearly made her and Risa become deaf, before Rairakku slammed her hand down on the top of the microphone for its level of sound to be normal.

"Now that the first act of entertainment is done, it's time for Kajino-san to dance!" Rairakku announced into the microphone, trying to sound enthusiastic.

That prompted a man's voice to shout from the upstairs room that still had its doors closed, "Rairakku, I told you to only talk to me when you have the right song playing!"

Rairakku replied sheepishly, her face starting to look nervous at how this problem seemed impossible to solve, "Well, Kajino... I... can't find it anywhere in Gunjou Town! I've looked everywhere!"

That only caused Kajino to sigh in an annoyed manner, before choosing to be silent towards Rairakku. That only caused her to look depressed, as it seemed like Kajino wasn't intent on leaving that room. Ever since a portion of his soul had been offered to the dark goddess, he had lost his passion for dancing. That was quite unfortunate, especially since he seemed to live in this nightclub. Having a dance floor right below his room must've only made his existence feel painful, as he felt no desire to dance.

To make matters worse, Kajino stopped caring about the nightclub to the point of where he didn't even keep the records in the record cabinet. Not only did this mean that Rairakku had to retrieve different record discs from various rooms of the nightclub, but some people had either stolen some musical discs or rudely hidden them away to give Rairakku more chores to do. She groaned in a frustrated manner at how one specific track was nowhere to be found, even after she had gone through the various buildings and trash cans in Gunjou.

Since Kajino's favorite song wasn't in the trash or discovered to be in anyone's stereo or phonograph, that only made Rairakku perceive them to be in a situation where her teammate's favorite song was lost forever. Rairakku herself hadn't heard this specific song enough times to detect its instruments and replicate it, further aggravating Kajino. She didn't get to see him be as happy as he had been at one point, not even trying to playfully waltz down the stairs with her anymore, and Rairakku crossed her arms after putting the microphone back down on the counter.

"Wherever Thrills Under The Lunar Gunjou Sky is, I hope that song makes the owner be annoyed." Rairakku stated aloud to herself, looking frustrated as Gunjou Town seemingly had no other copies of that song.

That caused Rogue to unintentionally respond in a snarky manner, "Well, I'll probably bear witness to a revolution in music after you sit down at that vanity and look in the mirror."

Rairakku responded to him with a stern facial expression, before walking off towards the back room for a moment, "If you're telling me to calm down, then you don't have to be rude about it!"

Rairakku went to the back room, prompting Risa to walk behind her. The pink-haired girl could tell that Rogue wasn't putting any snark into his comment, almost like he literally informed Rairakku that she didn't check one part of the nightclub. Both of the girls quietly went through the curtains, and the first moments of seeing the mirror caused Risa to closely observe it. The mirror didn't display any purple records in its reflection, but Risa started to smile in a calm manner at how some vanities had flimsy glass mirrors that concealed areas that could serve as hidden components for extra cosmetics.

Risa kept up her act as a dark mage by glancing at Rairakku's lips, noticing that the other woman wasn't wearing any lipstick. That prompted Risa to playfully push Rairakku over to the chair, before she opened the drawer that contained varying shades of purple lipstick. Upon looking at Rairakku's highlights and the corset that she wore, Risa handed a dispenser of orchid purple lipstick to the other woman. As Rairakku gently took the lipstick from Risa's hand, she glanced in the mirror during this moment of making herself look more beautiful.

Rairakku bent down for a moment to open a drawer containing different bottles of purple perfumes that had been supplied to her by a certain warlock when he wasn't guarding the Spectral Tower, and Rairakku picked up a bottle of amethyst purple perfume. She quickly sprayed it all over herself, before heavily spraying Risa to the point where her hair temporarily had amethyst purple streaks in it. Some of the perfume ended up getting on the mirror, prompting Rairakku to rub the glass as a way of wiping it off. However, she widened her eyes in amazement from feeling the glass budge for it to start retracting. When Rairakku saw the name of the record that was behind the glass, her eyes were filled with feelings of excitement and delight. This was the song that Kajino desperately wanted, and the dark witch wasted no time with retrieving the record from the compartment. Upon seeing her get up from the chair, Risa sat down and smiled in a pleased manner at how she could further maintain this facade in the nightclub for Kajino to finally reveal himself to her.

Three minutes later...

Risa went back to the stage in the nightclub's main room, smiling nicely as the lights were shining down on her again. She looked over at Rairakku, who proceeded to put the record containing Thrills Under The Lunar Gunjou Sky on to the record mixer. She watched the amethyst purple stylus proceed to gently rest on the record, before pressing the button for the record's disc to start spinning in the clockwise direction. The song began to play, causing Rairakku and Risa to hear its funky beat that sounded like it pertained to discotheque.

The song seemed like it had been infused with Darkness Magic, as Risa felt her body start to dance to the beat. She proceeded to happily spin around, before pointing two fingers to the left and right sides, and Risa even slid back as she put her hands near her temples to resemble a psychic mage who was trying to make predictions. She playfully predicted that Rogue would start to dance with her, seeing the shadow dragon slayer walk on to the stage with a calm look on his face. Rogue decided to dance across from Risa, moving around like a wavy shadow.

As Risa playfully giggled at his dance moves and made her hands form sideways peace signs that went in front of her eyes, Rogue copied her dance moves. They both spun around rapidly while applying magic to their feet, which made several other dark mages in the nightclub start walking towards the room. They wouldn't be there to fight, and the warlocks joined the witches of Hexing Enchantress in jumping up and down in rhythm with the funky beat of this song. Their rhythmic movements even made Rairakku subconsciously clap her hands in harmony with the beat, and she even let out a cheer at how this song was enjoyable.

That caused Rairakku to push a dark purple button on the record mixer for the song to continuously be replayed in a seemingly endless loop throughout the night, almost like the nightclub was the place for a great party. Some of the dark witches and warlocks even went up on stage to join Risa and Rogue in jumping up two times, before sliding to the left and right sides of the stage, before they all started to dance in place with their fists clenched and arms stretching forward. As everyone was happily mimicking the woman's terrified scream that occurred in certain parts before the chorus, the lively sounds of the nightclub made a certain man slowly open the doors of his room that was upstairs.

"What's going on down there? They're playing my song, and these fools are partying without having an amazing dancer to lead them?!" Kajino asked aloud with a curious look on his face, before having a miffed facial expression.

Risa stated aloud in a happy manner, as she proceeded to playfully spin around with her arms stretched out to form a circle, "Follow my lead, everyone! I'm the greatest dancer in Fiore!"

Upon realizing that Risa was honestly making that claim about her effortless dancing without a panel of three talented judges in the field of dance being around, Kajino shouted with disbelief in his voice, "WHAT DID YOU JUST SAY?!"

Kajino sternly told Risa in an offended manner, jumping down from the railing of the upstairs balcony to make the impact of his landing harshly shake the dance floor, "Just because you weren't competing against the best dancer during this little party, you don't get the privilege of thinking you're the best of the best! In fact, this song is reserved for elite moves like this!"

Kajino proceeded to display the flexibility of his dance moves, going through a head-spin on the ground right before flawlessly dancing the foxtrot, and he flawlessly grabbed a witch's hand for them to quickly perform the tango with him being a good leader. Kajino's tango was followed by taking that witch through a brief salsa dance, before gently spinning her around as part of a waltz, and Kajino increased the speed of his spinning for them both to have enough momentum for mambo dancing.

He confidently looked over at Risa, who joined Rogue in the act of firmly staying on the stage. Their feet weren't moving, staying in place as they sent more magic down into their legs. Rogue proceeded to activate a spell of Water Shadow Dragon Slayer Magic, which was known as Water Shadow Dragon's Heel. This spell made Rogue kick the ground with his right foot, resulting in a stream of water heading towards Kajino. The water turned into dark blue shadows at the last moment, but Kajino simply stared at the spell in a nonchalant manner.

The attack was intercepted by Rairakku, who ran away from the record mixer at high speeds to interfere with Rogue's attack. She unleashed a spell called Lunar Mystic Twirl. The spell caused an eggplant purple aura to engulf her hands, before some of it became solid enough to form an eggplant purple ribbon. Rairakku proceeded to twirl the ribbon in a clockwise manner like she was performing a ribbon dance, and the twirled ribbon soon took on the appearance of a chain with several links of eggplant purple orbs.

"Ribbon Dance of defensiveness!" Rairakku shouted with a stern look on her face, watching her orbs get struck by the attack.

As the eggplant purple blasts occurred with dark blue blasts happening within them, Rogue asked with a concerned facial expression, "What?!"

"Hold on, everybody! This is the dance floor of my nightclub, so let's incorporate the advantageous and tricky traditions of Gunjou for warlocks and witches! Retaliating mage, Rairakku and I challenge you and your friend to a Mauve Moonlight Dance Battle!" Kajino exclaimed with an irked look on his face, before fiercely issuing his challenge to Risa and Rogue.

That prompted Risa to ask with a curious facial expression, "Mauve Moonlight Dance Battle? What's that? Are we going out of this place to directly dance under the moonlight?"

"Think of it like a battle, but every spell that you use has to incorporate a dance move. Even doing ballet as a way of dodging would count, by the way. If you don't entirely dance during this fight, you lose. If you leave the dance floor in any way, you'll lose. If you die, you'll obviously lose." Kajino explained in an arrogant tone, smirking with the thought of him and Rairakku easily winning as Risa and Rogue exchanged slightly nervous glances.

They wouldn't even have time to form a detailed strategy, as Kajino quickly built up magical power when the song looped back around to its beginning notes. He smoothly slid across the dance floor while making a Sangria purple aura surround his hands, and the aura was part of a spell called Ghostly Sangria Spin. He fired the aura at Risa, who countered it by spinning around rapidly on one foot while she created an Esper Ball in her right hand. Risa threw the attack at the aura, only to see the pink sphere shine in a lavender color while she looked somewhat curious.

When the attack collided with the aura of Kajino's attack, he was surprised to see the seven Sangria purple ghosts with round bodies emerge from the aura for the purpose of being stuck to Risa's sphere. They all had jagged eyes in a lighter Sangria shade of purple, groaning in frustration while they were seemingly immobilized, and Risa's attack that had been amplified by a new shade of purple Darkness Magic ended up exploding in midair! The large lavender purple blast was followed by a pink blast that was equally as large, and both detonations damaged the ghosts.

As a side effect of this spell, they were all levitated to the top of the nightclub's eggplant purple ceiling. The ghosts were seemingly stuck to it, the lavender aura even making them become lavender, but the aura aggressively pushed them back down for them to explode in a large lavender-colored burst of dark magic! The ghosts let out screams of agonizing pain, almost like that color of Darkness Magic kept them from being intangible, and Risa simply watched the Sangria purple remnants of their souls fall on to the dance floor.

That caused Rairakku to activate a spell called Purple Lit Lick, and she tango danced with Kajino towards the small flames. When Rairakku approached them, she stuck out her amethyst purple tongue that had been quite long. Rairakku's long tongue immediately had a circle of flames appearing on it, and the circle slowly moved in the clockwise direction. That attracted the Sangria purple flames to the circle, causing them to merge with Rairakku's flames, and she licked the air itself for the flames to form a large stream of fire.

Rogue quickly got in front of Risa for the purpose of making hand gestures that resembled waves of water, almost like he was calmly doing a hula dance, and he activated a spell called Water Shadow Dragon's Sword Rain. Rogue proceeded to make his hands be turned sideways, before aggressively slamming them straight down towards the dance floor. That caused the shadows of his hands to stretch forward to where they could reach the shadow of Rairakku's spell, and her attack immediately had black needles rising up from its shadow.

The needles emerged in a plentiful amount, almost looking like black rain that came from beneath the ground, and the impact of those projectiles was that they coated Rairakku's attack in black shadows. They quickly became lapis blue, before exploding, and each explosion had the sound of a giant sword slicing through the attack right before small splashes were heard. Rogue smiled confidently at the power of his spell, liking how its explosions were minimizing Rairakku's attack. She gritted her teeth in anger, fury in her eyes at how someone countering the tango with a hula dance could now be giving themselves an advantage in this battle.

Rairakku proceeded to unleash a spell called Dark Purple Prophecy, and two eggplant purple orbs appeared in her hands while she started to dance around like a gypsy. During this dance, Rairakku tightly clenched her fists and she started to smile in an arrogant manner. This spell was interesting, since one of the orbs became amethyst purple, and the respective auras of the orbs were now flying back and forth between her hands at rapid speeds. If her opponents chose the hand that had the eggplant purple orb, then Rairakku would have to let it explode against her own hand.

"Aren't you going to pick a hand? It's no different than being like a magician who's asking you to pick a card." Rairakku confidently asked with a smug facial expression, before calmly speaking.

Upon seeing the auras switch hands when Rairakku's right hand slightly lowered, Rogue told her with an emotionless look on his face, "Your dark magic is full of surprises, but I won't play along with your game."

Rogue proceeded to spin around on one foot as a way of displaying his next dance move, and he activated a spell called Water Shadow Dragon's Raven Bubbles. Rogue shot out six lapis blue bubbles from his mouth, watching the bubbles float in midair while their shadows sprang up from the dance floor to swirl around in them. Rogue aimed his right hand at Raiakku, prompting the bubbles to go towards her. When the bubbles were close enough, they loudly popped to create six dark blue silhouettes of Rogue while the shadowy figures stood on lapis blue puddles.

They all slammed themselves into Rairakku, creating dark blue blasts that were quite large, and the exploding silhouettes also ended up bursting to create high amounts of water in midair. The water drenched Rairakku's hands, loosening up her fists to where slightly opening them both by accident caused an eggplant purple blast and an amethyst purple blast to engulf her at the same time. Rairakku screamed in pain from the power of this spell, as well as taking damage from Rogue's clones, and she could faintly see Kajino trying to stay away from her.

He was more focused on showing off his own dance moves, evident from how he performed the waltz by pretending to dance with someone as he easily moved across the water. Kajino decided to unleash an attack called Ghostly Sangria Sludge, and this attack made him fire a large orb from his hand. The orb was round like a ghost, and it soon gained light purple eyes with a jagged moment during this moment where the orb also grew ghostly claws. The large ghost proceeded to slam itself down on the floor, and Kajino smirked evilly as he hoped to crush Risa and Rogue.

This made Risa widen her eyes in a manner displaying realization, as she simply slid from side to side during the moment of confidently stating, "Even if your attacks are giant, it's important to know when they should be small!"

Kajino asked aloud, looking confused, "What are you about to do?!"

"Dark Lilac's Fabulous Fire!" Risa shouted fiercely, as she felt feelings of hatred towards Kajino for even trying to attack Rogue.

Risa built up a high amount of magical power to create a dark lilac sphere of Psychic Magic in her mouth, before looking straight up at a small skylight where the Gunjou Moon's light was coming through. Risa aimed the attack up at the eggplant purple skylight, watching the orb become lavender purple for at least four seconds, and the light of the Gunjou Moon made the attack become deep dark lilac. Its level of dark magic greatly increased, and Risa watched the attack descend towards the large ghost.

It seemed to be smiling in a rude manner, mimicking Kajino's current facial expression. However, the ghost soon looked terrified at the powerful spell that was about to collide with it. Risa watched her attack start to spin counterclockwise, before six dark lilac flames emerged from it. They interestingly spun in the clockwise direction, almost serving as a secondary rotating hindrance for enemies, and Risa watched the giant ghost become engulfed in dark lilac flames from being slightly grazed. The flame that grazed it created a dark lilac explosion, which only grew from spreading outward while its other flames detonated.

The ghost screamed in excruciating pain, before Risa's sphere went into the fiery scene by itself, and the sphere firmly pressed itself into Kajino's spell. He immediately saw it drain the Sangria purple aura out of the spell, before witnessing the sphere fling the aura towards Risa for her body to obtain much more magical power, and the dark lilac sphere exploded in a massive fiery blast! It even made a dark lilac tornado of fire occur on the dancing floor, almost like a good metaphor for how Risa was a dark witch who had been on fire with countering Kajino's moves in this dance battle.

Kajino angrily glared at the fire, feeling like Risa was upstaging him, and he wasted no time with flawlessly salsa dancing towards the inferno. Kajino unleashed a spell called Sangria Spirit Shield, and the Sangria purple aura engulfed his hands. He slammed his hands down against the ground for the purpose of making a trapezoid-shaped Sangria purple rock emerge from the ground. The rock was slightly hollowed out for it to have small eyes, which were above its jagged mouth. The stone seemed very ordinary, but putting his aura-covered hands on it allowed Kajino to maximize the power of this spell.

In an instant, a round ghost with jagged edges along its body popped out from the stone. This ghost had swirl patterns in its Sangria purple eyes, and its mouth was curved while the interior of its mouth was eggplant purple. The ghost's body was in a neon hue of Sangria purple, before inhaling some of the fire made it turn lavender purple. This spell seemed to be sentient, as it cackled while a lavender aura engulfed its body. The ghost proceeded to ram into the fire, creating Sangria purple explosions that were extremely large.

The explosions even sent Sangria purple fire towards Risa, prompting her to playfully disco dance right before activating a spell called Witch's Dark Lilac Shield. The spell seemed to not instantly activate, as Risa became engulfed in a large ball of Sangria purple flames. She started to feel an excruciating amount of pain from Kajino's dark magic, before hearing him gasp in shock at how the giant ball of fire suddenly became dark lilac. Some of the fire broke off to form four smaller fireballs, and they started levitating in midair.

The fireballs started to take in all of the fire that surrounded Risa, before exhaling an intense heat wave towards her. The large wave of heat involved the mystical fire healing Risa's injuries by making small flames be on her wounds, and the fireballs started to rotate around her in the clockwise direction. That caused Kajino's ghostly attack to reform itself, as it had continuously breathed in fire from exploding against the previous attack. It lunged towards Risa, only to let out a painful scream as it exploded from ramming into one of the fireballs.

Upon seeing through the flames to witness the Sangria purple ghost being melted apart and turning into Sangria purple ashes, Risa commented in an amazed tone, "Wow, my dark lilac Psychic Magic doesn't hold back in displaying the evil nature of these spells."

Kajino shouted with an offended look on his face, as his hands tensed up from his feelings of anger, "My groovy ghost! You destroyed my spell like its soul was nothing!"

The situation made Rogue think to himself with a curious facial expression, "How is Risa creating new spells without even using the book?"

He watched Risa hula dance across the dance floor with the fireballs still rotating around her, and she unleashed a spell called Dark Lilac's Shadowy Disappearance. The spell made a dark lilac aura engulf Risa's hands, and she shot out a dark lilac flame from her right hand. The flame went towards Kajino, before going down into its dark lilac shadow. The dark lilac shadow itself rose up from the dance floor, before heading towards Kajino at high speeds. He watched the attack suddenly vanish, almost like this shadow itself was using Shadow Drive.

The shadow appeared behind him, before vanishing again to immediately reappear on his right side, and the shadow quickly vanished again for the purpose of going to his left side. It hastily reappeared in front of him, before a dark lilac shadow appeared beneath it. That shadow sucked the flame's silhouette into it, before spitting out the original flame that had grown much larger from accumulating energy in the dark depths of the shadows. The attack struck Kajino, resulting in a dark lilac explosion that was quite large, and the flames that descended to the dance floor ended up falling into their own shadows.

The sight of those flames made Rairakku's eyes twitch in anger while she started to smile in a disturbing manner, and she attempted to tap dance as a way of signifying that it was her turn in the dance battle. Rairakku unleashed a spell called Witch's Nightclub Delight, and she evilly smirked at how this spell was one of her favorite attacks. She proceeded to fire an eggplant purple beam of Darkness Magic down at the dance floor, watching the beam refract upward to be like a way of bouncing out of the explosion, and the eggplant purple flames on the ground shot out fiery eggplant purple beams that alternated between that hue and dark purple. The beams also bounced off of explosions in midair, and Rairakku's dark magic essentially trapped everyone in a large box.

"If you try to eliminate one of my beams, I'll just make more of them!" Rairakku stated fiercely to Risa, ignoring the sight of a dark witch feeling like the record mixer needed to play a different track.

Risa responded in a calm manner, trying to hide her frustrated facial expression, "Well, the first beam seems more dangerous than the others."

Upon seeing Risa jump like a ballet dancer and slide to the right as a way of dodging the beam's two ricochets, "Wow, you're very lucky that your shoddy dance skills saved you from almost get hit!"

As Risa was about to be unaware of a fiery beam exploding above her for it to come down with more strength in its dark magic, she heard a little girl's familiar voice sternly state, "Spin around to the right, and slide up towards Miss Rairakku before jumping upward."

Risa chose to follow Kusabue's advice, spinning to the right like a ballerina, and she applied Psychic Magic to her feet as a way to make herself slide up towards Rairakku. Rairakku watched Risa quickly jump high into the air, This allowed Risa to dodge the beam that aggressively struck the spot where she had initially been standing, before it contorted to strike the area where Risa jumped, That made Risa look very amazed, since Kusabue wasn't a psychic mage who could read her opponent's mind.

Kusabue wasn't even reading Rairakku's mind, but Risa watched the young girl be near the dance floor for the purpose of arching herself downward. Kusabue wasted no time with slightly sliding to the right, and Risa copied her friend's movements as if she was trying to learn a new dance routine. These movements assisted Risa with dodging two fiery beams that would've hit her from different directions in midair, and sliding to the right allowed her to dodge a third beam of fire that landed near her to explode before the beam bent upward again.

Risa watched Kusabue spin around while hopping several steps to the left on her left foot, and copying those movements allowed Risa to evade two beams of fire that came down. She ended up dodging Rairakku's original beam of energy that came down with them, and the sight of Risa dodging her attacks made Rairakku frown in a baffled and frustrated manner. Rogue's enhanced hearing allowed him to dodge each beam at the last second, but Kusabue was helping Risa dodge them as if she could hear where they were going to land.

Risa raised her hands high above her head for them to form the upper half of a circle, before spinning around on her right foot like she was ballet dancing. That dance move led to Risa activating a spell called Mystical Psychic Screen, and a dark magenta aura started to join the dark lilac aura in engulfing her hands. Risa quickly and firmly lowered her hands down to the ground, making the hand motions of putting up a shield, and Risa watched a dark magenta rectangle of Psychic Magic appear in midair. It changed to being dark lilac for a few seconds, and touching the rectangular aura made it expand to form a large dome around her body.

Risa proceeded to unleash the spell known as Dark Lilac's Malicious Soul Decimation, and Risa created a dark lilac sphere in between her palms. She aggressively threw it out of the dome, watching the sphere start to become dark magenta for a moment, and the sphere grew to an average size. Its shadow bounced upward from the ground to touch the sphere, before becoming a dark lilac beam that circled around the projectile, and the orb started to grow larger with a shadow forming underneath it.

Risa chose to activate Stellar Psi for the purpose of making her attack be levitated back towards the dome, and the sight of Rairakku's beams continuing to bounce around at a rapid pace made Risa let the sphere just graze the shield. That caused the attack's shadow to also touch the dome, before the large shadow ended up bursting outward into smaller dark lilac shadows. They all strangely went into the shadows of Rairakku's beams and explosions, and sending magic into her eyes allowed Risa to immediately foresee what would happen.

The shadows of her attack created dark lilac explosions within the shadows of Rairakku's beams, but that interestingly made those projectiles suddenly get immobilized in midair. That made Rairakku have an astounded facial expression, her eyes expressing disbelief at how her beams stopped moving as if time itself came to a halt. She watched her attacks start to become dark lilac, before they ended up bursting in large dark lilac implosions, and Risa started to smirk evilly as she liked the vicious thought of how tampering with the shadow of any spell could make it self-destruct.

"Well, it looks like we'll need to teach this girl how to actually unleash some powerful spells." Risa told Rogue in a malicious manner, as an evil look started to be in her eyes.

As Rogue was about to take his turn in the dance battle, Rairakku shouted with an irked look on her face, "You're just Violara's little protege, and you're not so special to where you can look down on me!"

She proceeded to grab Kajino's hands, before walking across the dance floor with him for them both to perform the tango, and Rairakku ended it by unleashing the attack called Midnight Moonlight's Dark Brilliance. She simply shot out a large orb of eggplant purple Darkness Magic while everyone in the nightclub could sense that she put an excessive amount of power into this attack, and Rairakku ignored the sight of Rogue confidently smiling during the moment of grabbing Risa by her waist for them to quickly perform a romantic waltz together.

Rogue activated a spell called Water Shadow Dragon's Black Sea Crush, and he fired a somewhat smaller orb from his mouth. The orb alternated between being lapis blue and onyx black while the shadows around it resembled ocean waves, and Rogue still remained confident. He watched the attack go into Rairakku's giant orb, before it started to quickly rotate around in the clockwise direction. Rogue's attack became lapis blue while sucking in Rairakku's attack, before it became onyx black to suck in the shadow of the giant orb like its power would be drained.

Rairakku could only watch her massive attack detonate on the dance floor, seeing the large eggplant purple blast occur for it to barely even make a crater appear on the dance floor, and Rogue's attack slowly came down to the ground like a drop of water taking its time with falling from the faucet. When Rogue's sphere struck the dance floor, it created a massive lapis blue explosion! The explosion quickly became onyx black, but the aftereffect of this attack was that its heat made the blast's shadows melt down into several black puddles of water.

"It's interesting that you copied our idea of dancing together, since that now allows you both to attack at a quicker rate. Although, any dancer should be performing at their very best." Kajino told Risa and Rogue in an arrogant manner, before he seemed to force himself into salsa dancing like he was a master at it.

That prompted Rogue to reply in a curious manner, noticing Kajino's somewhat stiff movements in dancing, "If you're such a great dancer, then why did the experiences of losing your soul and losing some music depress you into just staying in your room? If you were truly the best dancer, wouldn't you prove it in different dance genres and also freestyle better than anyone else in the nightclub?"

Rogue's questions made Kajino respond in a proud manner, trying to maintain his arrogance, "Well, I... we..! We can perform a freestyle!"

Rogue coldly replied to him, not wanting Kajino to go against his instincts, "I don't want to see synthesized moves from different dances, and I don't think you can actually freestyle."

Those words prompted Kajino to grab Rairakku and spin around with her, before using that momentum to spin himself towards Rogue like he was about to start hip-hop dancing, and Kajino ended his turn with a one-handed handstand that led to him pushing off of the ground with Darkness Magic as a way of jumping into the air. He proceeded to activate his strongest spell, which was known as Sangria Netherworld Gate. Kajino was upside-down while aiming both of his palms down at Rogue, and Kajino fired a Sangria purple vortex down at Rogue. The vortex was composed of thin and rectangular ghosts, but this attack wasn't finished.

Rairakku sent Darkness Magic into her hands for the purpose of gathering up all her eggplant purple flames, and she fused them with a spell called Energized Dark Spirit. That spell called an eggplant purple aura to engulf Rairakku, before it aggressively went down into her mouth, and the aura quickly came back out to reform itself as Rairakku being eggplant purple. Her real body was now motionless like a lifeless husk, her eyes having no pupils, and this ghostly form of Rairakku attracted the eggplant purple flames. They started to coat her entire body while she went inside the vortex, making it triple in size and power while it shifted between being Sangria purple and eggplant purple.

The ghostly vortex that was now on fire didn't seem to bother Risa, and she simply glared at it in a stern manner. Risa glanced up at the ceiling for a moment, noticing that all of the dark lilac Psychic Magic was still in the air. That prompted Risa to activate a spell called Zen Lilac Cosmic Rend, and she simply aimed her right palm at Rogue's puddles of shadows that were on the ground. Risa fired several dark lilac shadows from her palm while each shadow had a flame-shaped tail on the end of it, and Risa watched her attacks strike the puddles. They immediately mixed with Rogue's magic to create several dark lilac maelstroms of shadows, before becoming black, and the flames in the maelstroms obeyed Risa's thoughts of flinging themselves at her opponents' fusion spell. Their shadows had dark magenta orbs emerge from them, only for those orbs to immediately burst in vicious explosions.

"What the?! I can't move!" Kajino exclaimed with a shocked facial expression, as he felt himself be immobilized in this moment of being wounded by one of the exploding orbs.

Risa asked him in a sultry manner that made her sound similar to Violara, sounding just as sadistic, "Let's start tearing apart your weak spell, shall we?"

She watched the orbs detonate around Kajino's and Rairakku's attack, slowing it down to where it would start losing energy, and the flames that bombarded it ended up created large explosions in a dark lilac color. That color of Darkness Magic made its specific flames bend in abnormal ways while they were attached to the spell, essentially contorting it in bizarre ways to where the vortex could burst at any moment. Rairakku's spell attempted to take in Risa's flames, but the moment that their respective hues of purple Darkness Magic touched was when Rairakku's dark energy exploded!

The eggplant purple explosion led to Kajino's spell exploding in a Sangria purple blast, before they were both consumed by a dark lilac blast that was enormous. The high amount of shadows that were produced by the explosions immediately went into Risa's hands for the purpose of giving her some more power, and she evilly grinned at how the psychic energy of her attack pushed Kajino towards one of the maelstroms. The moment that he touched it was the moment where Risa used Stellar Psi to control the other maelstroms, making some of them strike him while the rest of them struck Rairakku's lifeless body.

As Kajino became engulfed in dark lilac and onyx black blasts that contained scorching-hot flames, he let out screams of immense agony. This level of heat even made the shadowy energy around him start to melt, almost like extremely hot magma was now coating his body, and he let out one last scream as the explosions occurred. Even though the maelstroms sent more shadowy energy into Risa, her calmer and humble thought of wanting the flames to be magenta snapped her out of her evil tendencies in the moments before she fell to the ground. As the psychic energy from her maelstroms pushed part of Rairakku's body off the dance floor and officially disqualified her from the dance battle, the eggplant purple aura from her attack made its way back into her body.

Five minutes later...

Rairakku regained consciousness, allowing her to see that the dance floor was surrounded by flames in three different shades of purple while some of the flames on one side were onyx black. She looked around for Kajino, before gasping in shock at how he was laying down on his stomach near the black flames. Rairakku's body was heavily wounded to where she shakily walked towards her teammate, and nudging him with her soft kicks only made Kajino weakly groan. He faintly had the Sangria purple aura surrounding his hands, but he couldn't even unleash a weak spell.

Kajino actually wouldn't even be able to continue the dance battle, since Rairakku took notice of how his feet weren't resting against the dance floor. They were slightly outside of it, which wasn't permitted in his dance battles, and the powerful warlock couldn't break his own rule. Based on his own guidelines and the rules of a normal battle, Kajino would have to let Risa and Rogue obtain victory. They rightfully won this battle, and going over to the center of the dance floor allowed the Sabertooth mages to receive cheers from the crowd.

The crowd applauded Risa and Rogue for their skills with dancing, liking how their moves on the dance floor were just as thrilling as their spells. Some people even built up their own amounts of magical power to hold the Darkness Magic in their hands, almost as if they were holding glow sticks at a concert, and their different shades of purple were all in the crowd as a way of showing respect to the dark lilac magic that Risa wielded. She politely smiled in response, before bowing forward at how the crowd liked her dancing.

She turned her attention to Kusabue while recalling that the young girl had a tendency of wanting to dress in purple clothing like Rairakku, but Risa still felt herself be exhausted to where she couldn't just run off of the dance floor to hug Kusabue. All that she could do was wonder why Kusabue wandered into this nightclub, since none of the waitresses would likely be willing to serve her any alcohol or give her brownies containing wine-flavored berries, and the sight of Kusabue being in front of the dance floor by herself made Risa realize that a certain teammate hadn't shown up yet.

"Kusabue, where's Kūkiatsu?" Risa asked in a curious manner, as she began to look concerned.

The young girl replied in an angered tone, looking furious and somewhat depressed as she thought about her brother, "Kūkiatsu-onii-chan... is dead. He died right in front of me, and he was trying to protect me."

As Risa looked just as shocked as Rogue to hear the news, Kusabue coldly added, "I managed to eliminate the woman who tried to kill him, but the other half of their duo is still in Gunjou. Wherever that little dark witch is, I'll tear her to shreds with my own hands and show her no mercy."

Kusabue's words only made Risa start to frown in a stern and hesitant manner, as that last sentence seemed familiar to Risa. She felt like the details surrounding it needed to go unspoken right now, though, and turning her attention over to Rairakku made Kusabue also look in that direction. She sternly looked at the gothic woman, who glanced up from Kajino to give Kusabue a puzzled look about how a child got past the nightclub's security. Rairakku felt like the bouncer would need to be fired, and she would gladly do their job for a few hours.

However, that plan was halted by the sight of Kyasurin and Matsuba coming into this room of the nightclub. The two dark mages went up to the dance floor with evil smirks on their faces, seeming happy that they would now get to arrest Kajino and Rairakku. The pale-faced witch seemed very surprised at the sight of Kyasurin being here with Matsuba, as they had been ordered by Maruberiki and Minerva to stand guard in front of Gunjou Town's central entrance. Kyasurin merely laughed in a disturbing manner, before pulling out her wallet to show Rairakku that she was actually a member of the Magic Council.

That led to Matsuba pulling out his own wallet while he and Kyasurin also charged up high amounts of Darkness Magic, and Matsuba chuckled in a sadistic manner at how Rairakku was wounded to the point where she would be reduced to a scorching-hot pile of ashes. He watched Rairakku build up a small amount of magical power in her right hand while taking out an eggplant purple crystal from the right pocket of her corset dress, and Rairakku absorbed the dark magic within that crystal. She proceeded to make an eggplant purple orb be created in her right hand, and she ran straight towards Kyasurin.

"Since you two are pretending to be mages of Hexing Enchantress, I'll have to inform Maruberiki of your betrayals!" Rairakku shouted fiercely, before jumping into the air right before she would seemingly slam her spell down on Matsuba.

Matsuba responded to her in a happy tone, chuckling as he was about to fire a beam from his hands, "Well, I'm gonna decimate you!"

Upon seeing Rairakku slam the spell down on the dance floor for it to create an eggplant purple explosion that produced billowing clouds of smoke, Kyasurin stated aloud, "Ara, ara. How clever."

"Well, she doesn't really intend to fight us. She's probably running off to find Maruberiki, and maybe she'll even run into Tsuki on her way there." Matsuba responded with an overconfident smile on his face, before giggling at the thought of both women being wounded right now.

The mere mention of Tsuki's name made Kusabue's head perk up in a slow manner, and she started to have a very dark expression on her face. She stepped back for a moment, allowing Risa and Rogue to take notice of Kusabue smiling while one half of her face was much darker from not being near the moonlight or the nightclub's lights. Her eyes didn't show any sorrow at the mention of Tsuki's name, only having the emotion of vengeance. Kusabue wasted no time with building up more magical power for her Sound Magic to be much stronger, and she seemed to be making new spells.

One of the spells that she made was known as Shamrock Sound Radar, and she made a shamrock green orb be formed in her right hand. She put the orb near her right ear, almost like it was a glass cup that could be used to hear sounds on the other side of a wall at a much higher frequency, and she could hear different sounds as the orb on her hand started to rotate in the clockwise direction. After a few seconds, Kusabue's spell managed to detect the familiar sound of a girl's voice coming from a certain part of Gunjou Town.

That prompted Rogue to gently grab Risa's hand while he activated Shadow Drive in the same moment of sending Shadow Dragon Slayer Magic into his feet, and he likely shared a thought that also ran through Risa's mind. Risa was thinking that Kusabue would really be bold enough to seek out Tsuki, even if that girl was with Maruberiki and Minerva right now. If several mages of Hexing Enchantress were all gathered in that spot, then Kusabue could obviously be harmed by several warlocks and witches who wouldn't hesitate to strike her with their dark magic.

Meanwhile, near the harbor of Gunjou Town...

As Kusabue's group headed out of the nightclub to go towards a different part of Gunjou Town, Lucy's group arrived at the warehouses that were in the town's harbor. The warehouses themselves were all run-down, almost like no kind of artist had been using them as a studio in years. Lucy started to have a curious look on her face from wondering which warehouse was previously occupied by Maruberiki, but Miko didn't hesitate to guide her and Sting towards a warehouse that had its bricks in a boysenberry shade of purple.

This warehouse may have had its lavender metal gate lowered down to the ground, but sending Darkness Magic into her hands allowed Miko to easily pull up the gate from its base. She pulled it up high enough for herself to crawl through it with Lucy and Sting, before quietly closing the gate to not alert any dark mages who may have been patrolling in this area as security guards. None of them seemed to have heard anything, causing Miko to quietly let out a sigh of relief. She proceeded to stand up, taking notice of the boysenberry brick interior that complimented the mauve purple concrete floor.

The floor wasn't naturally mauve purple around Gunjou Town's harbor, and Miko recalled the day where Maruberiki painted the entire floor of this warehouse with some large paintbrushes. He had been so passionate about his art, evident by the paintings that were seen on canvases after Sting fired a harmless white beam of light from his right hand for it to go up into the air and illuminate this place. The intense amount of light allowed Lucy and Sting to see that Maruberiki had different cans of purple paint on one shelf that was above a long and wooden plain purple table, and that table had a royal purple book on it.

Lucy slowly walked over to that book, noticing that its cover was tattered, and opening the book to a random page made her see that this book was a diary where events were recorded. Every single day seemed to have been recorded in this book, and lightly hitting the table with her left knee allowed Lucy to feel the front of a drawer slide out towards her. She proceeded to pull open the drawer, not minding that it made a strident squeak, and Miko curiously walked over to her. Upon seeing Lucy passionately smile as she picked up a boysenberry purple book that had the insignia of Hexing Enchantress on it, Miko felt tears form in her eyes as her heart and mind were immediately brought back to happier times.

"The Dark Spells of Artistry? This seems like something entertaining to read." Lucy asked aloud with a puzzled look on her face, before smiling a bit.

Miko responded with a saddened look on her face, as she tried her best to smile, "Wow. Those were... the very first group of spells that Maruberiki ever wielded. They're nothing compared to the arsenals of dark magic that he helped warlocks and witches create for Hexing Enchantress to be an amazing dark guild, but this first book led Maruberiki to be such a wonderful artist who made you believe that his paintings were vividly bursting with life."

"Moonlight Lunar Orb? Violet Lunar Bliss? Neon Midnight? Why are these all just ordinary spells of Darkness Magic?" Lucy asked in a polite tone, smiling with a bit of curiosity in her facial expression as she turned the pages to see the vivid drawings and instructions pertinent to each spell.

Miko explained with a sincere smile on her face, delighted at the nostalgic feelings that she was experiencing from hearing the names of those spells, "When Maruberiki painted with a sense of love for his work, he even painted his spells into artwork such beautiful portraits, and they were the first paintings that made Maruberiki have a whole section for his works in Gunjou's art gallery."

The downside to recalling that era of Maruberiki's work was the fact that no piece of artwork was invulnerable from criticism, and Miko felt like she had to tolerate Maruberiki's fusion spells representing the successive eras of his artwork. They not only helped him strike back at critics in the beginning of his depression, but the nature of fusion spells led to him combining different shades of purple. That method for painting certainly helped him create beautiful pieces of art, but he started doing that in an obsessive manner.

In fact, Miko remembered a day in this warehouse where boysenberry purple wasn't even in Maruberiki's main assortment of paints. He made it be in its own separate assortment, but quickly walking over to that eggplant purple round table made Miko open up that boysenberry purple kit to see that the boysenberry purple gouache paint in each circular indentation was barely used. Maruberiki hardly wanted to even use what was once his favorite shade of purple, and Miko felt like he was still devastated by the critics who had thought boysenberry purple was unnecessary in art.

When the boysenberry shade of purple was no longer in his palette, Maruberiki's choice of exclusively using lavender paint made it seem like he didn't want to paint with deep and dark hues of purple anymore. Miko honestly didn't like that her best friend resorted to painting pictures in lavender shades of purple, since the color itself resembled purple paint that was very dry. That kind of color wasn't even like neon purple, which was still an electric and deep hue of purple to accompany the brightness.

"Maruberiki, I'll help you find passion for your art again." Miko stated aloud with a soft smile on her face, as she turned her head to see Lucy removing a dark purple tarp that was on a neon purple wooden end table.

Upon seeing a small paintbrush sitting on top of a white rectangular kit for watercolor paint, Lucy asked aloud with a confused look on her face, "Why would Maruberiki leave this paint untouched, instead of at least having it on a shelf?"

Sting took notice of several pencils and markers being on the upper shelves of a grape purple bookcase, before turning around to calmly tell Lucy, "At least he didn't have his art supplies all over the place. Although, the crayons and lipsticks on the bottom shelf are nothing to be excited over. Everything's purple, just like the last ring."

Stng's final sentence caused Lucy to glance down at her right hand for a moment while her hand unintentionally opened the kit, and she thought about each of the rings. Each ring was in a different color while they all pertained to different kinds of elemental magic, and Lucy remembered how the circumstances for each major fight had been different from the one that preceded it. In the battles where the rings were at stake, Lucy fought hard against her enemies with the intention of wanting to make their towns our guilds change towards a better future.

She wasn't prioritizing the idea of being a powerful and crazed mage who sought to get blood on her hands with more power as a reward, since Lucy had good morals to the point of not taking things such as revenge further than necessary. Even if Maruberiki felt like she would be wrong in this situation where the Sabertooth mages were destroying the town of Gunjou in their quest to make it be a better place, Lucy felt that she could be the better person by not raising her fists to strike every dark mage that she encountered.

Even if the dark mages of Hexing Enchantress were to succeed in this guild war, being trapped under the Gunjou Moon and its rays of light still left them susceptible to following Maruberiki, Minerva, and the dark goddess until more of their souls were ripped away. Ridding the world of all other mages may have seemed like an idea for Darkness Magic to triumph, but Lucy narrowed her eyes at how nothing was stopping a passionless artist such as Maruberiki from eradicating witches and warlocks who wielded their magic in shades of purple that he hated. As Lucy slowly looked back up at the paint, she took notice of how her left hand's fingers had all lightly touched the indentations containing the colors blue and purple in their plainest hues. That only made Lucy start to clench her left fist, having determination in her eyes about taking down Maruberiki as she felt like an aspiring artist who had the passion for creating wonderful portraits from only regular shades of colors.

How was Chapter 66? Feel free to tell me your thoughts on it. Risa and Rogue managed to defeat Kajino and Rairakku in Gunjou Town's nightclub, but they didn't care about the fact that this victory for Sabertooth revealed more of the path leading to the goddess. Instead, Risa is now worried about what will Kusabue will end up doing to Tsuki. Also, Yukino and Sorano will need to fight against the remaining team of dark mages who are maintaining the last illusions that hide the full path to the goddess. By the way, this is the ninth part of the Mauve Darkness Arc! I'll update soon. :)
