The Doctor and her fam just wanted a relaxing day, so typically, it turns out not to be. With the Doctor injured, Yaz has to sort her out... Again. Any reviews would be great! It's only my second fic so feedback would be great! (and any prompts?)

Seren Jones' life was pretty routine. Grieve for her dead parents, work to support herself and her younger sister, who was in University, deal with her god-mother's nagging and try to live her life. All that literally went up in flames when a mad man with a blue box blew up her job and she got entangled in his life of adventure. First in 'The Mad Man and The Welsh Star' series.

Almost every single companion has rammed home the fact that he should never, ever travel alone. The Doctor needs someone with him, an internal compass that will keep him straight, that will make sure he keeps saving people and adding to the good in the universe. One day in Manhattan set him into a downward spiral- and the only person who can stop it is himself.

I have a bad habit of daydreaming. Most of these daydreams have unnecessary OCs, and one of these unnecessary OCs happened to be an invasive character for the Doctor Who universe. I wrote a teaser, and people liked it, so now I'm dedicating hours of my life to writing it down. Wow. Follow Alex as she develops herself from the ground up, creeping into the terrible unknown.
