Shortly after fleeing the Ifrit from within the Evil Foundry... Silver the Hedgehog and Shahra were flying far away and elsewhere.

As they were flying within midair... Shahra had begun to worry about Silver. What had she realized that Silver had been quiet the entire time, since they had left the foundry. This had begun to worry her. "Um... master?" Shahra had called out of concern.

Silver had continued to stay quiet and fly.

"Master?" Shahra had called, again. Which this time caught Silver's attention. "Eh? Shahra? Is everything alright?"

"I'm fine." Shahra nodded, while flying alongside Silver. "But, I should be asking you that question, too be honest."

Silver had silently gasped, then remained silent for a moment.

"You have been silent, ever since we had left the foundry. Is something bothering you?" Shahra had asked.

Silver had remained silent, once more.

"Was it the Ifrit that the Erazor Djinn had summoned?" Shahra had asked out of concern.

Silver had closed his eyes for a moment, then thought.

"We agreed to save the world at any price!"

Blaze's words had echoed throughout Silver's mind. "I'll be completely honest with you, Shahra. I am bothered. You see, that Ifrit we just saw... looks like the friend I once had. Her name was Blaze."

"Blaze?" Shahra had asked.

"She was my best friend. We've known each other for a very long time. We traveled to the past together by using the power of the chaos emeralds. In my world, we would do whatever we could to try and save as many lives as possible from the Flames of Disaster known as Iblis." Silver had stated.

"Iblis..." Shahra had then remembered seeing lava floor and ruined mountains, when she first met Silver. "Is Iblis the reason why your world looked really chaotic?" Shahra had asked.

"Yes. My world had been devastated by Iblis-long before I was born. I spent lots of time fighting Iblis-only to reappear over and over, again. And when I found the answer to ultimately defeat him... My friend, Blaze made the ultimate sacrifice by sealing Iblis inside her." Silver had stated.

"I'm so sorry." Shahra had felt bad after listening to his story.

"What do you mean? You sound so sad." Silver had asked after hearing her sad tone.

"I suppose I am." Shahra had frowned. "You've lived a terrible life. You never gotten to experience real happiness-living in a devastated world your whole life... fighting a monster that you couldn't possibly defeat on your own. And this Blaze... she, the only friend you knew had given her life to stop your world's threat. I don't think I would be able to keep fighting as long as you have. I can barely stand up to the Erazor Djinn. And..."

"Don't feel bad, Shahra." Silver said.

"Silver?" Shahra had looked to Silver, whom had stopped flying for a moment.

"I won't let what happened to my world happen to yours. I'll make sure I'll stop the Erazor Djinn. And after that happens, we can smile and go on as many adventures as you want. And I'm not just saying it because I'm your master. That's a promise I am making to you." Silver smiled.

"Oh?" Shahra smiled a bit. Then, she saw Silver extend his right pinkie toward her.

"Pinkie promise." Silver said.

Shahra had stared at Silver's pinkie for a moment, then nodded. "Okay." Shahra had then extended her right pinkie out and connected it to Silver's. 'A promise.'
