Chapter 26: Perfect Union, Ultimate Fighter

Paildramon and Okuwamon stared each other down.

Woman: "Okuwamon, don't play with your prey. Finish them off."

Okuwamon charged at Paildramon, but Paildramon used his superior speed and dodged Okuwamon effortlessly. He quickly spun and kicked Okuwamon away. Okuwamon crashed into the sand but came out effortlessly with no damage.

"It has a good defense."

Okuwamon charged again, but Paildramon managed to grab his claws and throw him back to the ground.

Paildramon: "Esgrima!"

Paildramon's claws shot out and tried to stab into Okuwamon, but they bounced off Okuwamon's shell.

Armadimon: "Amazing…"

Hawkmon: "He's able to fight Okuwamon…"

Miyako: "Paildramon can win this for sure!"

Iori: "But… why did he have to combine with the Kaiser's Digimon…"

Okuwamon rushed at Paildramon once again and tried to clamp its jaws on Paildramon. Paildramon grabbed them and spun Okuwamon around, throwing him back into the sand.

Daisuke: "Ain't he awesome?"

Ken: "I don't know…"

Daisuke: "That's our Digimon partner!"

Ken: "Is it..?"

Paildramon turned to his partners and spoke with a voice that was a mixture of ExVeemon and Stingmon.

Paildramon: "Hurry and stop the explosion, you know how to, right Ken?"

Ken: "R-Right, I'll do my best."

The Digidestined ran towards the remains of the Kaiser's base.

Woman: "I can't let you do that, Okuwamon target the Children first. They are easy prey for you."

Okuwamon immediately turned away from Paildramon and flew to the Digidestined.

Paildramon: "Esgrima!"

Paildramon's claw wrapped around Okuwamon's legs and he was brought down into the sand again.

Paildramon: "I'm your opponent! Don't you dare hurt my partners!"

The Digidestined ran through an opening and managed to get inside the Kaiser's base. Daisuke and Ken ran ahead of them, with Ken taking the lead.

The Digidestined all ran until they found a terminal. Ken went in front of it and looked at it like he was thinking hard.

Ken: "You all should leave. It's not safe here."

Daisuke: "Didn't we just go over this?"

Ken: "Yes, but regardless, none of you should be here."

Miyako: "You know, usually teams work together more often than not."

Iori: "Since when was the Kaiser a part of our team?"

Ken: "I don't care whether we are a team or not. You all need to leave. I don't know whether I'll be able to disable this in time."

Daisuke: "And I told you already, we aren't going to leave you!"

Ken sighed and started to type on the terminal.

"Dammit, how did this function… I can't… I can't remember this…"

"What's this feeling..? Is it coming from Ken..? It feels like… anger and desperation…"

Daisuke: "Ken, don't worry about us. We will be here with you till the end."

Ken remained quiet as he continued to try and figure out how to operate the terminal.

Miyako: "Ken, not to pressure you but, do you know what you are doing?"

Iori: "This place is going to blow soon…"

Ken looked at the terminal and clenched his fists.

Ken: "Dammit! Dammit all to hell!"

Ken slammed his fist down on the terminal causing it to sparkle a little. Ken recoiled back as he shielded his eyes. Slowly, the red alarms inside the ship began to dim and the Digidestined found that the room was slowly getting dimmer.

Iori: "What did you do!?"

Ken: "I-I don't know…"

Knowledge: "Hello? You guys ok there?"

Courageous Friendship: "Yeah. I think so. The lights just dimmed after Ken slammed the terminal."

Knowledge: "Uhh ok, anyways the energy level has stopped increasing so good job, I guess?"

Reliable Knowledge: "It's thanks to Daisuke and… Ichijouji. Their Digimon combined with each other and produced an incredible fighter."

Sincere Love: "Yeah! It was called Jogress Evolution or something like that. Paildramon was so cool and strong! He was winning against Okuwamon so easily!"

Knowledge: "Two Digimon combining? I see…"

Ken: "What's happening?"

Miyako: "Well whatever you just did, it seemed to work… Koushiro said the energy level isn't increasing anymore."

Ken looked contemplative.

"That doesn't make sense… what was this room for… was it… was it for… a reactor..? That means I severed the power supply to the reactor by breaking that terminal..? I wish I could at least remember what everything in this base did…"

Daisuke: "Nice work, Ken! You did it!"

Ken: "But…"

Daisuke: "You need to be kinder to yourself, Ken. You are way too hard on yourself."

Ken was silent as he looked away. Just then, they felt the base shaking, and saw several small explosions.

Knowledge: "All of you! The energy is spiking again! Ge-"

Daisuke: "Koushiro?!"

Iori: "Did the earpieces cut off?"

Miyako: "No way…"

The Digidestined suddenly felt uneasy, as if a wave of darkness had passed over them. They began to shiver as they looked around them.

Ken: "T-This feeling… it… what is this..? It feels familiar but…"

Daisuke: "Do you know what's happening?"

Ken: "No… but… I have a feeling that I did when I was the Kaiser…"

Miyako: "Then what do we do now?"

Ken: "I… I don't know… but I think… the source of all this… we might be able to find it if we follow the pipes on the ground…"

Miyako: "You sure?"

Iori: "Well… he hasn't… he hasn't led us astray so far…"

The Digidestined looked at Iori with a mixture of shock and confusion.

Iori: "I'm… just stating the facts. And right now we can't contact Koushiro… so… we can… follow your lead for now…"

"You've never been wrong with your advice yet, Grandpa. I'll put my faith in your advice once again."

Koushiro: "Get out of there! Guys? Hello!? Shit. Why did the earpieces cut off?"

Tentomon: "What do we do Koushiro?"

Koushiro: "What time is it?"

Tentomon: "Erm… 6."

Koushiro: "Then they should be free now. They said they would only practice until 5.30. We need to call them in."

Tentomon: "Will they be able to make it in time?"

Koushiro: "I don't know, but we have to try."

Koushiro quickly picked up his phone and dialed Hikari's number.

Light: "Hello? Koushiro?"

Knowledge: "Yes, are you still with Takeru?"

Light: "Yep, we went a little over time with the practice. We just finished."

Knowledge: "Good, I need both of you in the Digital World as soon as possible."

Light: "Give me a second."

Hikari: "Takeru! Yamato! Can you come over here for a second? I'm having a digital problem over here! Can you help me?"

Takeru: "Ok!"

Takeru and Yamato quickly ran over, with Yamato quickly stopping at his bag to grab his earpiece. The trio quickly put on their earpieces and spoke to Koushiro over them.

Friendship: "Alright, what happened?"

Knowledge: "Long story short, there was an energy spike at the Kaiser's base. They went to investigate it and I just lost contact with them. The energy levels are increasing still, and it's likely that an explosion will happen soon. I need Takeru and Hikari to go and help them. Daisuke and Ken's partners combined together and formed a fighter known as Paildramon, at least I think that's his name. I'll explain more when we have time. Go quickly."

Hope: "Got it, Koushiro."

Light: "We will be there in a minute."

They ended the call and Yamato quickly ran to his bag and grabbed his laptop.

Yamato: "I'll cover for you two so don't worry."

Takeru: "Thanks, Onii-Chan."

Yamato: "No problem, I'll head over to Koushiro's office shortly and meet you guys there."

Patamon quickly flew out of Takeru's bag with the Digivice in hand, while Tailmon jumped down from the cabinet she was resting on. They quickly got transported into the Digital World, and Yamato closed his laptop.

"Two Digimon combining together, huh? Just like Omegamon…"

He walked back to his band with a sorry face.

Yamato: "Sorry guys, something came up for them. They had to go. We can end practice here if you want."

Band member 1: "Aw, they didn't have time to say goodbye?"

Band member 2: "That's a shame, but Yamato, you didn't tell us that little Hikari was so cute."

Band member 3: "Yeah, although It's kinda weird for her to bring her pet cat for a band practice. Don't cats have really sensitive hearing?"

Yamato: "Don't push your luck with my little sister. I will destroy you if Taichi doesn't do it first."

Band member 2: "Alright, alright I was just joking."

Band member 3: "Besides, it's clear that she has her eyes on little Takeru."

Yamato: "Well you're not wrong about that."

Band member 1: "The songs you made for them are practically love songs as well."

Yamato: "Yeah, they really are the perfect pair…"

Band member 3: "You good, Yama? You seem… like you're having nostalgia or something."

Yamato: "Nah, don't worry bout it, just thinking about the past."

Band member 1: "That makes you sound like an old man, y'know?"

Yamato had a smile on his face as he turned to his band.

Yamato: "Shut up."

Paildramon had his eyes closed as he tried to hear where Okuwamon was. Okuwamon had burrowed into the ground and Paildramon had no choice but to wait for him to resurface again. Paildramon grabbed the blasters at his side and shot once into the sand.

Sure enough, Okuwamon took the bait and bolted out of the sand, almost managing to catch Paildramon with his pincers. Paildramon just managed to grab them and stop Okuwamon from crushing him.

Paildramon: "If that's how you want to play… Desperado Blaster!"

Paildramon's blasters peppered Okuwamon, revealing the darker shade of the dark towers. He kicked Okuwamon in the jaw, causing him to be released.

"Alright then, it has to be dead soon. This new power is amazing."

Suddenly, Paildramon and Okuwamon were blinded by a light, followed by Okuwamon being sent flying away. Paildramon opened his eyes and saw Seraphimon and Ophanimon. Takeru and Hikari were in small shields, floating beside their partners.

Ophanimon: "Get to Daisuke's group. I'll handle this."

Hikari: "I'll go help them too, I'm counting on you Ophanimon."

Ophanimon: "Alright but be careful. I've got a bad feeling about this."

Seraphimon: "No need to worry, I'll protect them."

Hikari moved over to Seraphimon's shoulder, next to Takeru, and they both disabled their shields allowing them to land on Seraphimon's shoulder. Paildramon nodded and quickly bolted to the base.

Ophanimon turned to face Okuwamon, which didn't look much like an Okuwamon anymore, retaining only it's shape. It charged at Ophanimon and Ophanimon simply blocked it with her shield. She kept on parrying Okuwamon's attacks easily.

"Well, this has been a good stretch. I guess I should stop messing around now."

Ophanimon: "Eden's Javalin!"

Ophanimon's attack struck the Okuwamon, but it wasn't instantly destroyed.

"Odd, guess this thing is more durable than I thought. Actually, no… I'm feeling a lot weaker than usual… but that means… Hikari! I need to end this quickly and get to Hikari!"

Ophanimon: "Sefirot Crystal!"

The attack hit Okuwamon head on, causing the dark material to crack. Ophanimon sighed.

Ophanimon: "You just want to do this the hard way, huh?"

Ophanimon charged with her spear and repeatedly stabbed and slashed at Okuwamon. Her superior speed rendered Okuwamon unable to respond to her attacks.

Paildramon didn't know why, but it felt as if he just knew where Daisuke and Ken were located. He punched through the base and found them staring at a structure.

Seraphimon was right behind him and punched a bigger hole, after checking that the Digidestined wouldn't be hit by any debris. Takeru and Hikari slid down Seraphimon's arm and landed in his open palm. Suddenly, Hikari gasped, and her face instantly paled. She fell to her knees and had a look of pure fear on her face.

Hikari: "no… no… no… not again… leave me alone…"

Takeru: "Hikari? Hikari!"

Takeru quickly grabbed Hikari and saw her look of fear.

Takeru: "Guys! Come here quickly! We need to get out of here!"

Paildramon: "I'll handle… whatever this is. Desperado Blaster!"

Paildramon's attack hit the structure but didn't do much visible damage. The Digidestined quickly ran over to Takeru and Hikari and upon seeing Hikari, they began to look worried.

Takeru: "Hikari! Hika… it's me… you're fine…"

Hikari: "No… not again… leave me alone… no…"

Daisuke: "What's wrong with her?"

Ken: "This darkness…"

Ken began to look deep in thought, then he suddenly gasped.

Ken: "Takeru, have you felt this darkness before?"

Takeru responded, not once looking away from Hikari.

Takeru: "Yes, there's only one place I can remember feeling this… off. We're calling it the dark ocean for now. Koushiro is trying to find out what he can about it. Hika… I'm here… I won't let them take you…"

Hikari had curled up into a small ball at this point and was shivering as Takeru brought his hands around her.

Takeru: "We need to leave. Everyone is here, right?"

Ken: "Yes, we just have to destroy that structure and we can leave."

Takeru: "Shit, it's like she's freezing. Seraphimon! Destroy that thing now!"

Seraphimon nodded and brought his free hand in front of him.

Seraphimon: "Seven Heavens!"

The seven balls of light crashed into the structure, causing it to collapse instantly. Seraphimon immediately flew back, with the Digidestined safely in his palm. He landed and beckoned to Ophanimon, who had just destroyed the Okuwamon. Ophanimon started to revert to Angewomon. Worried, she flew over to Seraphimon as fast as she could.

Angewomon: "What happened to Hikari?!"

Hikari: "No… not again… leave me alone…"

Hikari's words were barely a whisper at this point.

Seraphimon: "I'm not sure, but I think there was something inside that base. It felt similar to the dark ocean."

Takeru: "You're fine, Hika. I'm right here. Shh, it's fine Hika. They can't get to you here."

Slowly, Hikari regained a some of her sense. She looked up with tears in her eyes. She wrapped her arms around Takeru, burying her head into his chest. Takeru held her tight, lightly stroking her back to comfort her.

Hikari: "I-It was s-so r-real... l-like t-they were r-right there..."

Takeru: "Shh, shh. You're alright, Hika. We're right here. They won't get to you, Hika. I won't let them. They won't get to you. Patamon, Tailmon and I won't let it happen, not again."

Seraphimon and Angewomon reverted to Patamon and Tailmon, Patamon landing lightly on Hikari's head, and Tailmon hugging Hikari, both showing their concern and comfort for her.

The Digidestined watched the scene silently. Ken walked over to Paildramon and beckoned to him.

Paildramon: "What is it, Ken?"

Ken: "Destroy the base. Please, destroy all of it. Leave nothing behind."

Paildramon: "Got it."

Paildramon flew and stopped above the base.

Paildramon: "Desperado Blaster!"

Paildramon did not stop shooting until all that was left of the base was dust and sand.

Paildramon landed in front of the Digidestined and reverted to Veemon and Wormmon.

Ken: "Thank you, Wormmon. You did good."

Wormmon: "Thanks, Ken!"

Veemon: "That was awesome! We have to do that again!"

Daisuke: "Yeah!"

Ken: "But still… why did our Digimon combine?"

Daisuke: "What are you talking about? It's cause we're partners!"

Ken: "Partners..?"

Daisuke: "Didn't you feel it? Our Digimon combined, our hearts beating as one, it was an amazing feeling of unity. That's how I knew we were partners."

Ken: "Sorry, but I'm not qualified to be your partner yet."

Ken picked up Wormmon and opened the laptop he had been carrying.

Daisuke: "Wait, Ken!"

Ken: "Thanks for the help. I can send you guys back to the real world if you want."

Takeru: "That would be nice, thanks. Just bring us to Koushiro's office, please."

Ken: "Alright."

Koushiro: "Yeah, they said their Digimon combined, so I think it might be similar to what happened with Omegamon."

Yamato: "Interesting. You're going to continue researching about this, I assume?"

Koushiro: "Of cour-"

Koushiro didn't get to finish as he saw a gate open in front of them. The Digidestined appeared through it, with Takeru supporting Hikari.

Koushiro: "Oh, welcome back guys."

Yamato: "Hikari?! Are you ok? What happened? Do you need Taichi?"

Hikari: "I'm… ok Yamato… just… I just want… I want to go home…"

Yamato: "Ok, do you need me to get you anything? I can get my dad to drive you home."

Hikari: "It's… ok…"

Takeru: "It'll be fine, Onii-Chan. I'll bring her back."

Yamato: "Alright, I'll inform Taichi first."

Hikari: "Thanks…"

Takeru and Hikari walked out of Koushiro's office, with Takeru making a gesture to his phone. Koushiro saw it and nodded.

Yamato: "What happened…"

Koushiro: "They'll tell us later… hopefully."

Daisuke: "We're not too sure ourselves. They broke through the wall and then…"

Iori: "Hikari just suddenly… collapsed."

Miyako: "She was saying something as well. I couldn't really catch it."

Yamato and Koushiro's eyes widened, as they looked to each other.

Daisuke: "Takeru also said something to Ken. Something about a dark ocean."

Koushiro: "That's… the place that took Hikari, that day. I won't… it's not my right to give details about it."

Yamato: "Takeru and Hikari… they'll tell you guys about it when they are ready. It's been very traumatic for Hikari."

Yamato pulled out his phone and opened a text to Taichi.

Friendship: "Heads up, they had an encounter with the dark ocean, I think. Takeru is bringing Hikari back now. See what you can find out from Hikari when she's better."

Taichi's response was also instant.

Courage: "Oh"

Courage: "How long till they are back?"

Friendship: "They just left."

Courage: "Ok"

Courage: "Thanks"

Courage: "I'll update you"

Friendship: "Ok."

Yamato: "Taichi will update us on Hikari."

Koushiro: "Good, for now though, I need to check up on this Jogress Evolution. I'll meet up with all of you guys tomorrow. Get some rest. Good work today."

Takeru and Hikari were walking back to her home. As they entered the lift, Takeru placed his hand on her shoulder.

Takeru: "We're here for you if you need us, ok?"

Hikari: "I know, Keru. Sorry."

Takeru: "You did nothing wrong."

Hikari had a small smile as both their phones got a notification of a text.

Knowledge: "Meeting, my office tomorrow at noon. Important, come if you can."

Takeru: "Will you be ok to go?"

Hikari: "Yeah… I feel a little better already. I should be fine by tomorrow."

Takeru: "Don't push yourself, ok?"

Hikari: "Thanks, Keru. Don't worry about me, ok? I don't want you to stress yourself."

Takeru: "Alright."

As Takeru knocked on the door, it immediately opened revealing Taichi.

Taichi: "Come in."

Hikari buried herself in Taichi's arms.

Taichi: "Shh, shh. It's alright, Hikari. Why don't you go wash up and we'll talk if you want to?"

Hikari: "Ok… Onii-Chan."

Hikari walked off, leaving Taichi and Takeru alone.

Taichi: "I heard from Yamato. Thanks."

Takeru: "Mmm, can you make sure she's alright for me?"

Taichi: "You know I will. Take care of yourself, don't worry so much. You'll be the first one I contact if anything happens… well after our parents of course."

Takeru: "Thanks, Taichi."

Taichi: "Anyways, you want something to drink?"

Takeru: "Oh, no thanks. I need to get going soon."

Taichi: "Alright, wouldn't want to keep you."

Hikari came out of her room in her pyjamas, with a sad face.

Hikari: "Takeru… could you… stay for tonight?"

Takeru looked at Taichi for a moment before turning to Hikari with a smile.

Takeru: "Ok, I'll just inform my mom that I'm staying."

Takeru went off to quickly call his mom. Taichi stood next to Hikari, who had a small smile on her face.

Taichi: "Take care of yourself, ok? Don't be worried to ask us for help if you need to."

Hikari: "Don't worry, Onii-Chan. I'll be… fine. You two will know if I need any help."

Taichi: "I know it's not my business to choose who you can date, but I'm happy you chose someone I know I can trust completely."

Hikari wrapped her arms around Taichi's arm and smiled sweetly.

Hikari: "Thanks, Onii-Chan. I'm sure that means a lot to Takeru."

Taichi and Hikari smiled at each other as Takeru walked back to the two of them.

Takeru: "Alright, I can stay."

Taichi: "Alright. Why don't you two go watch some movies or something? I'll get you two some snacks and drinks."

Hikari: "Thanks, Onii-Chan."

Hikari and Takeru sat down on the couch with their partners and turned on the TV. Taichi joined them shortly with a few snacks and some drinks.

Soon enough, Hikari ended up falling asleep with Takeru's arm around her. Taichi shook his head as he chuckled and proceeded to carry Hikari into her room, with Tailmon trailing behind. As Taichi set Hikari down, Tailmon jumped up onto the bed and got comfortable next to Hikari.

Taichi then went to grab an extra blanket and pillow and passed it to Takeru.

Takeru: "Thanks for having me."

Taichi: "Nah, thanks for being here. You really have a way with calming Hikari when it comes to the darkness and all."

Takeru: "That's good to know."

Taichi: "Yeah. Alright, I won't keep you up, we gotta make sure we can wake up and reach Koushiro's meeting on time."

Takeru: "Right, goodnight Taichi."

Taichi: "Night."

Taichi went into his own room, as Takeru sighed and pulled out his phone. He began to type a text to send to Koushiro.

Hope: "When we entered the Kaiser's base, there was an immense darkness. It felt like the dark ocean again. Hikari collapsed almost immediately. She was only better after we destroyed what seemed to be the source of the darkness."

Knowledge: "Thanks. I'll see what I can do with this info. I'll keep you updated."

Hope: "Thanks."

Takeru let his hand fall to his side. He placed his phone on the table as he lied down. Tears streaking down his face.

"What can I do? What can I do to make this better for you, Hikari?"

Koushiro's office was mildly packed with all the Digidestined and their partners inside it, but there was enough room for everyone to be comfortable.

Koushiro: "First, thanks everyone for being able to come to this meeting."

Joe: "It's no problem at all, Koushiro."

Koushiro: "Alright, now first of all, as some of you guys already know, Daisuke and Ichijouji Ken recently did something special. Both their Digimon partners combined together and managed to form a Digimon with strength far surpassing their individual strengths. Of course, this should sound familiar for the older Digidestined.

Taichi: "Yeah, just like Omegamon."

Koushiro: "Right, apparently, it was called Jogress Evolution. Now, I tried to research it and translate it, but I couldn't find out what Jogress means. Although I did find two words that fit quite well with it."

Koushiro clicked a key on his tablet, where two words appeared. 'Joint' and 'Progress'.

Koushiro: "Joint can mean combining, while progress can mean evolving. So, by combining certain parts of both words, we get Jogress."

Taichi: "So, if Wargreymon and Metalgarurumon combine, is it Jogress Evolution as well?"

Koushiro: "I'm not too sure. All I know is that thanks to Jogress, the newer Digidestined seem to be able to bypass the previous limit I found on the D3's."

Miyako: "So then… that means if Iori and I can Jogress, then we can reach the ultimate level?"

Koushiro: "In theory, yes. But from what I've understood so far, Jogress seems to require either a common goal or the two human partners have to in some way complete each other. This is assuming Omegamon is a Jogress Evolution as well."

Iori: "Interesting."

Koushiro: "I'll continue to research on Gennai and see if I can find a way to contact him. He might know more about this. It seemed like he knew a lot about the D3's the last time we talked."

Daisuke: "Regardless, it seems our main priority should be getting Ken to join us. It would be good to have Paildramon available at all times."

Koushiro: "Only if none of us join you. All of us here can still evolve to Mega so we will be able to help if needed. Although sad to say, I think Takeru and Hikari may have to take the brunt of this effort. Based on what happened yesterday… I don't think the dark ocean is done with the Digital World. We're going to need the Holy Digimon whenever possible."

Yamato: "That's fine with me if you're thinking about their schedule for practice. They are quite naturals at their performance. To be fair, considering the songs they are singing, well they have their heart in it. So, it's quite natural for them when they do it."

Miyako: "Speaking of that, what songs exactly are they singing?"

Iori: "I'm curious too, it seems quite sudden that the two of you are just going to sing with Yamato's band during Christmas."

Takeru: "Well…"

Hikari: "Our songs are completely original. The only people that have heard them would be Yamato, his band and the two of us."

Daisuke: "Oh? And what's the name of these two songs?"

Hikari: "That's our secret. Although… Daisuke you should check your hair."

Daisuke: "What's wrong with it?"

Takeru: "It's standing a little, you ran here I assume?"

Daisuke: "Yeah I did."

Hikari: "You should really Focus on your Reflection more."

Yamato turned away, trying his best to hide his smile.

"Well played, Hikari. Well played. Your sister is quite the little devil, Taichi."

Sincerity: "Oh, you have to record it and send it to us! I can't wait to hear the songs done by them!"

Yamato quickly recovered and turned to the screen Mimi was on.

Yamato: "That's up to them to decide. I'm likely not going to publish the songs in an album. So, their Christmas performance is likely to be a one-time thing for the public to hear. I'll see what I can do about getting you guys a recording. Of course, that is if Takeru and Hikari are fine with it?"

Takeru: "I'm fine with it."

Hikari: "Same here."

Taichi: "Sweet, when will we get to hear it?"

Yamato: "You get special treatment, come over to our studio the day after tomorrow. You can listen to it early."

Sora: "Oh, enjoy it for all of us, Taichi. Yamato lets me come to all his band practices but even I'm not allowed to see this one."

Yamato: "That's just because you aren't Takeru or Hikari's sibling."

Taichi: "She isn't their sibling, yet."

Sora: "Taichi!"

Yamato: "Sure, if it's during practice, we can just cancel it halfway through."

Koushiro: "Alright then. I guess that's more or less all I have to share. Oh right, my mom decided to grab some snacks for you guys."

Miyako: "That's sweet of her."

Koushiro: "Yeah. Mimi, if you want some, I can grab a few and bring them to you in the Digital World."

Sincerity: "Nah, it's quite late here, I'm good."

Koushiro: "Alright. Tentomon, can you help me grab the other tray? It's in the fridge."

Tentomon: "Got it, Koushiro!"
