Chapter 14

The Change

The room was silent and still all you could hear was the noise of magical fighting going on outside, those who were still present were Dorothy-Ann, Keesha, Wanda and Phoebe along with Griselda's, Wizigiz's and Valerie's life-less bodies lying on the floor. The girls hadn't realised that Darcy had made an escape nor even realise that something amazing has happened to them. They all remained crowded around the 3 older adults including their beloved Ex-Professor praying for a miracule telling everyone to wake up.

Bike who was still disguised as a pendant around Valerie's neck seemed to be the only one who was alert to what had happened. So it decided to alert them by making a gentle beeping sound similar to the beep that the Magic School Bus use to make "Beep, Beeeeep!". "Ha?" the four girls all said together like they had been woken up from a deep trace. "Hey what happened to that witch?" Phoebe asked as she looked around the room, "Ah Phoebs, when did you grow wings!" says Wanda, Phoebe turned her hand to lay her eyes on Wanda "Ah so do you! Infact all of you do!", she couldn't help but show a small smile.

The 4 girls looked at themselves from their heads to their toes all now wearing tiny dresses or tops showing their midrifts and tiny mini skirts along with strappy sandals and gloves that came up to their elbows. "We look like...fairies!" DA examimed in a nervious voice, "DA, i think we have become real fairies!" Keesha addresses DA while giving Wanda's wings a yank "Awww that hurt!" Wanda yelped. Keesha immediately apologized. "How do you suppose this happened?" DA said getting straight to the point "and how do we change back?".

Suddenly, there was a another beeping sound and the girls could hear that it was coming from Valerie's pendant. They all forgot that Bike was still in the form of a necklace. "Bike, if you could hear us! Did you do this to us?" Phoebe politely asks it. It wasn't long until a fire-work type of light flashed in front of them. The girls could feel its magic around them which gave them a familiar magical feeling. Bike reformed into its main form and gentley places itself infront of them "Biiikkkkeeee!" they all say together acknowledging its presents. It beeped a friendly noise like it was saying a quick "Yes" to Phoebe's question along with what looked like a grin on its lively motorbike face. Valerie had reverted to her civillian form.

Before any of the girls could ask it why it had turned them into fairies, there was a loud bang that came from outside that made the girls jump and feel nervous. It made the room shake like there was an earthquake occurring. Wanda got up and walked towards a nearby window to check out what was happening outside "Wanda! Be careful!" DA shouted to her concerning for her safety. Wanda just looked over her shoulder and simply told the group "Come on you wisley wimps, don't you want to know what's happening out there?".

Keesha, DA and Phoebe chose to stay with the 3 life-less bodies on the floor as they were still not showing any signs of life. Fearing for their safety Phoebe and DA suggest that they start doing CPR on them "We'll stay here with Professor Frizzle, Griselda and ahhh the leprechan..." Phoebe told Wanda "Girls do you remember your CPR skills we learnt in Elementry School?" DA then asks. Keesha responds with a quick "You bet! We can do it on each person!" while Wanda looks through the windows.

Wanda notices the battle outside. She saw the witches Icy, Stormy including Darcy standing on the ground near the wishing well in the courtyard with their hands on their hips. She couldn't help notice Darcy talking to her friends like they were whispering to each other or gossiping. Though she was unable to hear what they were saying, Wanda knew for sure that Darcy was talking about what she had just witnessed when she was in here just a few seconds ago.

Wanda glupped, sensing that she, DA, Keesha and Phoebe are in great danger. She looked up towards the sky as she heard Keesha, DA and Phoebe courting compressions in the background and many of the students had transformed into their fairy forms. Wanda looked down at herself and noticed that the outfit she was wearing was similar to the fairies outside. She wondered if she had fairy powers too. Bike who was parked beside her gave her a small nudge "is this why you have turned us into fairies? You want us to help fight! Thats nuts!" she screamed to Bike.

Bike just gazed at her with a short beep like it was answering yes to Wanda's question. She looks away and glups again she as notices Daphne flying in the air aiming for the witches with a big ball of magic coming from her right hand "Great she will catch them off guard!" Wanda whispered to Bike. Icy who had noticed then strikes her with what looked like an icy blast of magic causing her to fall to the ground hard. Wanda was shocked and afraid! 'Oh no, no, no, NO!" she says to Bike without even looking at it.

Roxy then flew to the ground to assist her along with Faragonda. Bike feeling annoyed nudged her again with an old quote projected above its handle bars big enough for everyone in the room to see. It read "Take Chances, Make Mistakes and Get Messy". "Bike stop it, we are not fighting! We do not even know if we have powers!" Wanda told it. Bike was disapointted that she wasn't remembering her roots but then again it understood that it was putting her and her friends under presure.

Wanda looked towards the witches again and still couldn't hear what they were saying. Just then they raised their arms and great sources of power came from their hands like they were summoning a spell. "This looks bad!" Wanda yelped as she looked towards her friends, "Wanda, what's going on out there?" Keesha asked while still doing breaths and compressions on Professor Wizgiz.

"Ummmm" Wanda says as she looks out the window once again. She saw that Icy's, Stormy's and Darcy's powers were heading towards the sky above them causing what looked like a dome like sphere that surrounded the school. The witches suddenly vanish!

Faragonda and Roxy along with the other fairies who were not injuried were trying to break the spell but it wasn't working. It was too strong. The school and its occupants had been trapped in a dome "I think we have just become trapped!" Wanda answers to her friend as came away from the window to assist with the CPR that was still occurring.

DA, Keesha, Wanda and Phoebe then begin to hear groaning noises and they stopped doing the CPR "Yay finally!" Phoebe happily yells. Griselda and Wizgiz including Valerie were regainning consciousness. The girls were relieved that everyone was going to be hopefully ok. Just then they hear what sounded like running footsteps coming towards them. They all crowded around each other in fear, hoping that it wasn't those witches (they hadn't even noticed that Bike sliently returned them back to their normal human-selves).

It was Nurse Ophelia coming down the hall "Oh my! Anyone hurt down here!" she shouts to them. They all breathed out a sign of relief, DA explains the events that had just occurred along with Wanda telling her what she saw through the window. Ophelia then explains that Icy, Stormy and Darcy had cast a powerful dome like spell on the school so no one can leave. There was also mention that they wanted to keep an eye on the humans that are currently in the school. "Meaning us?" Keesha asks dissapointedly, "I'm afraid so, but we will make sure to protect you, Faragonda's orders! Now if you 4 can help me lets get the professors and Griselda on a stretchy!" Ophelia gentley tells them as she clicks her finger.

3 stretchy's appear to take Valerie, Griselda and Wizgiz to the Imfirmary. The girls were scared and felt that maybe it would be a good time to return home to Earth and bring Professor Frizzle with them but Ophelia simply tells them that all magical portals are down and they have to remain here until the dome spell is broken.

Authors Notes: Sorry guys had a bit of trouble writing this one, sorry if it doesn't make sense or if its all over the place. The discriptions of Wanda's, Keesha's, DA's and Phoebe's fairy forms will be coming within the next few chapters
