However, shortly after they arrive, strange things start happening around the manor, objects moving around, cloaked figures roaming the halls, messages written in blood appearing on the walls, and worst of all... Subaru can't remember what's been killing him.

AU where Emilia and Subaru switch places. Emilia is a human from japan that was transported to Lugunica with the ability to return by death. in the large city she finds an alleyway with a gang of thieves who beat her up, leading her to find Subaru, a male half-elf that changed her life forever.
