Chapter 5: Slytherin Strategy - Draco's POV
Draco Malfoy observed Bella Swan and her striking companion, Luna, with a mixture of curiosity and intrigue. Luna's presence was commanding, but it was Bella who truly captured his attention. There was a certain elegance about her, a confidence that radiated from every move she made. As Bella's smirk challenged him, Draco couldn't help but notice the intensity of her gaze, the way her eyes seemed to hold a world of secrets.
"Looks like we have a new addition to our little family," Draco commented, his eyes flicking to Bella's mesmerizing gaze.
Bella's raised eyebrow and smirk only added to her allure. "And what makes you think I want to be a part of your little family?"
Draco chuckled, unfazed by Bella's response, though he couldn't deny the thrill of the challenge she presented. "Oh, come now, Swan. We Slytherins have to stick together, don't we?"
Bella's smirk widened, a glint of amusement dancing in her eyes. "Perhaps. But I have my own agenda, Malfoy. I suggest you keep that in mind."
Draco's smirk faltered for a moment as he met Bella's gaze. There was something about her, something captivating and dangerous, that drew him in. "I look forward to seeing what you have to offer, Swan."
With that, Draco and his friends departed, their minds buzzing with thoughts of Bella Swan and the possibilities she brought to Slytherin house. As they made their way to the Slytherin common room, Draco couldn't shake the image of Bella's striking eyes from his mind. They were unlike anything he had ever seen before, a mesmerizing shade of brown that seemed to hold a universe of secrets within them.
Inside the common room, Draco settled into a plush armchair, his thoughts still consumed by the encounter with Bella. Theodore, Blaise, and Pansy gathered around him, their expressions reflecting the curiosity and excitement that Draco himself felt.
"What do you make of her, Draco?" Theodore asked, breaking the silence that had settled over the group.
Draco leaned back in his chair, his mind still reeling from his interaction with Bella. "She's... intriguing," he admitted, his thoughts drifting back to Bella's captivating gaze. "There's something about her – a darkness, perhaps – that intrigues me."
Blaise nodded thoughtfully. "She's definitely not one to be underestimated. I get the feeling she'll be making waves here at Hogwarts."
Pansy couldn't resist teasing Draco. "And did you see how you blushed when she looked at you, Draco? I didn't know you could turn that shade of red!"
Draco scowled at Pansy, his cheeks flushing slightly at the teasing. "I did not blush!" he protested, though the amused glances of his friends told him otherwise.
Despite the banter, Draco couldn't shake the feeling that Bella Swan was a force to be reckoned with, and he had a feeling that Hogwarts would never be the same with her presence. As he gazed into the flickering flames of the common room fire, Draco couldn't help but wonder what secrets Bella held behind those mesmerizing eyes, and what role she would play in the unfolding drama of their sixth year.
