Author's Notes
A lot of you commented on Wobbuffet and Ash's line up and where his Pokemon are. I will give a full list of where everyone is and all that in terms of his Pokemon he can call upon after next chapter. Why next chapter, well just read this one and you'll understand.
"Oww, where did we land this time?" James asked, pulling himself out of a tree.
"Oh if I ever find out who took Lickitung I will make them pay! Don't they know stealing Pokemon is our job?!" Jessie said angrily climbing out of a tree.
"Face it Jess, you weren't scammed or stolen from, just an accidental trade." Meowth sighed, brushing some dirt off of himself.
"But what good even is this thing!" Jessie said, shaking Shuckle's shell.
"Shuck! Shuck! Shuck!" The Shuckle cried out sticking it's head out.
"Hey you're hurting him!" Meowth said.
"Well make him tell me what good he is!" Jessie said.
"Hey Shuckle, what's your deal, what can you do to help us the Magnificent Team Rocket?" Meowth asked.
"Shuckle, Shuck Shuckle." Shuckle said, wiggling his arms.
"I see, very interesting." Meowth said.
"Well what did he say old chum?" James asked.
"he says his shell is as hard as it gets and he can produce really healthy nectar." Meowth said.
"How is that supposed to help us!" Jessie said, throwing Shuckle at some bushes.
"HEY WATCH WHERE YOU THROW THAT!" Another woman said angrily standing up from a hiding spot.
"It's Cassidy!" Jessie said in shock.
"Take your trash back you no good miscreants!" A man said.
"And Biff." James said in surprise.
"It's BUTCH AND YOU KNOW THAT!" Butch exclaimed.
"What are you two even doing out here?" Jessie demanded.
"If you must know, Giovanni believes this compound has been compromised." Cassidy said, pointing to a large building with a red R on the front.
"Compromised, how?" James asked curiously. "As in we've been found and taken out?"
"More like taken over." Butch said, pointing at a group of Masked Team Rocket Members. "And it's not just here, a lot of our Johto bases have been overrun by these masked freaks."
"So what's the plan?" Jessie asked.
"Wait, are you seriously implying we should team up with you three idiots?" Cassidy laughed.
"Do you honestly believe you can take out that entire base all on your own?" Jessie questioned.
"Fair enough." Cassidy said. "Right now we're just to get any files off the main drive, wipe their systems before they can get anything on us."
"Sounds like a plan, but how are we going to get in, we's gonna stick out like sore thumbs!" Meowth remarked, noticing the Masked Team Rocket Members uniforms were black instead of white and the obvious masks.
"I have an idea." James said.
10 minutes later
"So why are we the ones wearing skirts?" Butch whispered, the group now in makeshift Masked Rocket Uniforms with Meowth walking on all fours behind them.
"Because now they won't know it's us obviously." James said.
"Hey you four!" A woman said walking up. "Which squad are you with?!"
"We just were repositioned here today Ma'am." Cassidy lied.
"Fine, take that Meowth and anything else you got to holding and then report back to me, got it!" The woman demanded.
"Yes Ma'am!" The four said with a salute.
"I didn't think anyone other than Giovanni was that empowerful with just their voice." Jessie admitted.
"Precisely why we need to get our data out of here and find out what is going on, now come on." Cassidy whispered. "Bill, take James and Meowth and go to holding."
"It's Butch not Bill!" Butch argued.
"And I don't want to be put in holding!" Meowth argued.
"Listen you two, unless you want our cover blown, at least for the time being, we need to play along, so go and do that while we find the control room!" Jessie said angrily.
"Right Jess." James and Meowth said in unison.
"I have to admit, you three may be idiots, but at least they follow your orders." Cassidy said, as she and Jessie kept going.
"We're not! One problem at a time." Jessie said. "If this place is still built like one of our stations, the control room should be right down here."
"And how are you sure of that?!" Cassidy argued.
"Please I grew up in Team Rocket, my mother reported to Madame Boss, and worked side by side with Giovanni." Jessie said.
"Impressive, maybe you are competent." Cassidy said, as they saw the control room, with two workers inside. "Ready for a fight?"
"Hold on, there might be another way." Jessie said quietly. "Hey guys, boss wants you to report in, she asked us to cover for you."
"What did she say?" One of the workers said.
"Not sure, but she seemed pissed." Cassidy said. "I'd hurry if I were you two."
"We should go Raj, last thing we want is to be demoted back to grunt work." The other worker said as the two ran off.
"I'm impressed your idea actually worked, I was ready to just knock the two of them out." Cassidy said as the two girls got to work.
"A fight in here would have caused damages to the computer, if we really want to recover our files we needed to do this cleanly." Jessie said, typing away at he computer. "Look at all this."
"Mew, Zapdos, Lugia." Cassidy said.
"Articuno, Moltres, even Mewtwo." Jessie said in shock at the files. "But why are they researching all these legendary Pokemon, but collecting a bunch of nothings?"
"I'm not sure, but Giovanni will want to know about this, we need to get the boys and get out of here, now." Cassidy said, taking the drive with the files.
"Jess, they found us out, we've got to go." James said, rushing to the door.
"Alright, you heard him, let's move it unless you bozos want to be caught!" Cassidy said, leading the group away from the Masked Rocket members.
"Let them leave." The woman in charge said. "They only got the most basic of our research, we need to continue our search for the shrine, keep at it!" The elite member exclaimed angrily.
Later on
"Giovanni sir, we have pressing news regarding what we found out." Cassidy said with Jessie next to her.
"Cassidy, and Jessie, I don't believe I put the two of you on this case together." Giovanni said sternly.
"No sir, you did not, but drastic times have called for drastic measures, and with the current threat we believe as your still loyal Johto Operatives, we should ban together at least for this to ensure our hold over the region." Jessie said.
"We found out that they are using the research you gathered on various legendary and mythical Pokemon, however we ran out of time before we were able to uncover everything." Cassidy admitted.
"Very well, send the files you gathered to Matori, she will be your contact and supplier for this mission going forward, and the two of your teams are to work together on this, you either succeed as one or fail trying to go in alone." Giovanni said calmly. "I will have her send more information once we have some."
"Yes sir!" The two Team Rocket teams said, saluting their boss and leader.

And there you have why I didn't go over Ash's lineup, because this is a Team Rocket chapter. With two different sides of the villain group I thought I'd try this as an introductory. Let me know if you guys would like more of Team Rocket vs Masked Rocket scattered into this story or not.
