Chapter 1: Disguise of a Beauty Queen

At Brian's Noodle House, as everyone serves his noodles for dinner. They discussed about the mission Lee had given her as they see Corey's bucket list during her visit in the Philippines.

"Wow... a beauty pageant... I like to see how girls would compete this. Why don't you participate on this, Rhima?" Hwoarang smiled excitedly as Hunyo scolds him.

"Rhima is not to participate, red head. This is why she will disguise herself as the missing rich heiress."

"Panganiban... what activities this beauty pageant will be?" Rick asked and Rhima answers.

"Since this is the pre-preliminaries, they have to promote the contestants first by making a press presentation and it was on live TV. It will be held at the SMX Convention Center."

"That building is after SM Mall of Asia. I'm sure everyone is gonna thrill to see you there." Rick said nicely as Brian arrives to see them.

"Thanks to Meng, she gave me the details about our new adversary, Lee was talking about. It was indeed a Chinese mafia group who specializes in kidnapping."

"A mafia group?"

"It is just like Japanese yakuzas who played as terrorists to kidnap their victims in order to pay them ransom money. Much like in our place but was more brutal if they didn't follow their demands." Brian said in disappointment.

"If we let Rhima-san to participate while in a disguise, I'm sure our new adversary will order to kill her." Jin said seeing their plan and Hunyo sees him getting serious.

"Rhima will be just fine, Jin. A smart person is always known to deceive and outsmart the enemy. That way, we can beat them right away despite how armed they were."

"Since Corey Yeung is the daughter of one of the wealthiest family in Singapore, I think our new adversary plan to get ransom money worth of millions of Singaporean dollars." Brian said and he reveals the group name. "That Chinese mafia group is named Bloody Lotus and their leader, Mark Shang is the most ruthless one."

"Brian... since I was too busy for my schedules here in UE manila branch, I'll pass the baton temporarily to you." Hunyo stands up and gives his leadership to Brian temporarily.

"Thank you, Hunyo... Don't worry about it... I'll look after your daughter along with Jin and Hwoarang. That mission will be more brutal than you sent her to their world."

Rhima now learns about their new adversary as her face changes to Corey who is currently being held captive by her captors who happens to be the Chinese mafia group called Bloody Lotus. Corey was faced with their leader Mark and his right-hand man Kai Cho.

"Greetings, Corey Yeung. I'll be rich because of you. If your parents finds out that you're missing, they will surely makes a reward once you were found."

Corey became angered for their actions when she tries to face him.

"I will take you to China once I got the reward money and to buy various heavy firearms in exchange. Come on, men. We have work to do..."

Corey became upset when they kidnapped her and she looked at the picture of her boyfriend while lowering her head.

At the Cashimiro Residence, Rei had put the plate at the back Jin's dark blue motorcycle and Jin was amused to see the plate has his surname being shortened along with four number digits.

"I'm completely amused... you shortened my surname on that plate."

"There's nothing to worry about, Jin. The traffic enforcers won't caught you because this plate is just like my pick-up truck and just be careful on the highway patrol group or the authorities. They are known to make checkpoints to make inspection on the riders." Rei said nicely and Rhima tells Jin about the crime incidents.

"Their reasons to inspect them because they have crime incidents like the riding-in tandem whether to snatch their victims or ambushing them with gunfire."

"Seems like I have to be more careful." Jin said and became happy to see his motorcycle have a plate on the back. He soon gazes at Rhima and tells her. "Now I can roam freely within the Metro except that I have to wear a motorcycle helmet."

"But why?"

"It's uncomfortable and sweaty if I wore it. But I don't have a choice..."

"It's for safety, Jin..." Rei said nicely to him. "Sometimes motorcycle riders do have accidents whether to get fractured or get killed."

Jin nods after knowing of Rei's words and he tells Rhima in a loving manner.

"I'll see you at the convention center, Rhima-san... Good luck on your disguise."

Rhima also nods to see him smile and Rei tells Jin.

"You might disguise yourself as a Grab rider, they won't know who you are."

The next day, at the SMX convention center, Jin arrives wearing a cream-colored short sleeved loose button shirt with the collar upturned and the sleeves just reach through his elbow to cover his devil tattoo, dark blue jeans with a silver chain as the dark brown belt was concealed from his loose button shirt and dark blue loafers and he was met up by Brian, Hwoarang, Rick, Lars, Reggie, Alisa, and Benzon with his task force group.

"Yo, Kazama... arriving in style?"

"Not you again..." Jin rudely said to Benzon after seeing his presence and Brian scolds him.

"Don't get so rude... they are on our side. As long as our adversary would make an ambush, we have to take them down."

"I guess Hunyo was nice enough to give you his baton." Lee arrives wearing a indigo sweater with his white short sleeve button shirt underneath, khaki jeans and black shoes. "Lars, Alisa... we have to get ready, because I've seen some suspicious men just pretending they are civilians."

"Enemy confirmed... these disguise civilians are from the mafia group."

"All right, let's take them down!" Hwoarang smirked getting ready to fight as Brian pats him.

"All five of us need to pretend as audience. Since it was over crowded in every activities."

"But old man..." Hwoarang said in disappointment as Jin smirked at his rival.

"We'll attack if they're here to get Rhima-san."

"Right..." Hwoarang while rolling his eyes when he goes with Brian's group.

"Welcome to Miss Global 2016! We are gathered here today to meet the thirty beautiful candidates who were chosen to represent their countries."

Everyone is giving a round of applause and thirty candidates arrived in their casual outfit wearing a black T-shirt and jeans. Both Brian and Hwoarang saw Rhima under disguise as Corey Yeung who showed her beautiful long hair. Jin misses her former look and he noticed she wears a wig.

"She really disguised herself perfectly. I'm impressed..."

Meanwhile the mafia group had watched the press presentation and informs Mark about what they had seen. Mark wants to know who she is.

"Who is she?

"A replica of Corey?" one of his men said and Mark asked him.

"Then, who's the person we currently had?"

"That was the real Corey, sir."

"We already made a DNA about the real Corey. And that person was the fake Corey." Kai said making Mark to give orders.

"Kill that imposter and don't come back if she was killed, understand!"

"Yes!"

After the press presentation, a disguised Rhima as Corey finally takes off the stilleto heels to her brown flats. She sees the man in a black hood and calls Corey's name.

"Corey..."

"Huh?" Rhima wondered until the man takes her away as she screams.

As the five of them leave following the pre-presentation, Jin looked to see the black hooded guy who takes Rhima to escape. He angrily clenches his fists and he chases after him.

"Kazama, where are you going?" Hwoarang asked as Jin angrily informs them.

"I'm chasing after that bastard, you have to be prepared now."

The four noticed some disguised civilians who happens to be the mafia group, forcing both Hwoarang and Brian to fight them off while Rick takes Reggie to safety.

"Dang... they definitely came prepared."

"Let's just say... we're going to take them down." Brian said while fixing his glasses and both men fight.

At the top of the convention center's parking lot, the black hooded man put Rhima down and he removes his hood to reveal a handsome looking Singaporean man.

"Corey... I'm glad you're okay..."

Rhima stands up angrily towards the man as she makes a low blow on his crotch and she kicks him in the face. She removes the wig to reveal herself.

"You're not Corey... and you look like her."

"Are you stalker or what? You really think that I'm her. I'm doing my best to masquerade as her to lure my enemies into a trap." Rhima said angrily to the man who barely stand up and both noticed a black helicopter that can shoot like a gatling gun, both of them tried to avoid the gunshots until Jin arrives riding the motorcycle skyward as he soon throws it to the helicopter in explosion as he lands on the ground.

Both of them were surprised to see him do that stunt and Jin looked to see them both.

"Jin..."

"Is he your boyfriend?" The Singaporean man asked who he is and Jin angrily raising his brow and tries to grab him by the collar.

"You'd better leave her alone... Or else...!"

"Jin, calm down! He's harmless..."

Jin eventually let him go and the Singaporean man was coughing and he was mad at her.

"That guy keeps stalking around you and now you telling me to let him go. He's really a nerve..."

"What is your name? You already mistook me as your girlfriend or something..." Rhima asked as the man introduced himself.

"I'm Andrew Kwan, and I came here searching for Corey."

"Andrew, the person you were searching was still being held captive by the Chinese mafia group called Bloody Lotus. And I'm doing my best to disguise as her because she and I we both had the same look and we're from a different nationality." Rhima said telling him. Andrew was shocked when he learns about what happened to his girlfriend and soon apologizes to her.

"I'm sorry for dragging you out. I never expect these dangerous group would kidnapped her."

"Andrew... we're on our side. I wanted to know between you and Corey." Rhima said wanted to know about him and Corey and Andrew tells her.

"I might tell you tomorrow... I'm glad that I met someone who takes my girlfriend's place on the pageant."

Andrew eventually leaves them and both watches. Outside of the convention center, the authorities arrive to arrest the members of the mafia group who were disguised as civilians. Both Lars and Alisa are accompanied by both Rick and Reggie being reunited with Lee, Hwoarang and Brian.

"We just clean up the house." Hwoarang said informing both and Brian receives a text message which is from Rhima and telling them that they are okay.

"Who sent that message, Brian?" Lee asked in an elegant tone.

"It was Rhima, and Jin accompanies her and she says that they were at the seaside parking lot. Looks like there was a misunderstanding going on for both of them." Brian said calmly and Hwoarang complains at his rival.

"Kazama is always chasing after that some hoodlum guy around."

At the seaside parking lot, both Jin and Rhima had a private conversation between them after meeting with Andrew.

"I can't believe you tried to stop me if I had some chance to take him down."

"You're being overprotective, Jin... take it easy." Rhima commented for being overprotective and Jin replies in a sigh.

"You had seen my actions, Rhima-san. Something I failed to protect my mother in the past and now I don't want to lose you."

"..."

"Rhima, I... " Jin felt sad when he had failed to protect her for the first time and he decided to make things personal for her and he looked at her. "I wanted to protect you from those bastards who wanted to get you. I don't want to meet the same fate as my mother."

Rhima understands him because he was currently became the man he was today and he can now protect everyone from his world and now he wanted to protect her as well. She had her arm crossed while chilling in cold because of the strong winds and its sea current. Jin looked to see her getting chill and he calmly unbuttons his loose button shirt and takes it off and he puts it to cover her shoulders.

"It's your shirt... You might catch cold if you..."

"I'll be fine, Rhima-san... I'm already getting used to it. I actually fought Kazuya looking like this when we are fighting in the middle of the deep storm." Jin said calmly to her while she gazes him in shirtless.

"You haven't changed a lot, Jin." Rhima remarked and he smiles at her.

"We should get back to your condominium... It's pretty cold at night."

"You're gonna ride your motorcycle without a shirt. You would get caught by the authorities." Rhima reacted while blushing towards him and Jin retorts at her.

"Don't feel sensitive, Rhima-san... I never do this in my world. Hop on..."

Rhima smiles at his retort as she wears his button shirt and soon rides with him.

"I was hoping you can take me back."

"Just hang on to me. It's going to be a wild ride." Jin snickered happily as he starts his motorcycle engine and he rode off as Rhima hangs on to him.

Trivia:

*Hunyo makes a cameo in the beginning in order to pass his leadership temporarily to Brian.

*The plate of Jin's motorcycle made up by Rei is 036KZM, resembling the new motorcycle plates in real-life in the Philippines.

*The scene where Corey was met by Mark is the same scene as Daemon Yu confronts Natalia in the 2015 film, Beauty and the Bestie.

*Andrew Kwan finally reveals himself in this chapter as the black hooded figure who bears a resemblance to Chinese-American actor, Henry Golding.
