Chapter 75: The Injured Milotic and Enter Hunter J
Hello everyone, this chapter will focus on the group finding a Milotic and encountering Hunter J I hope you all enjoy it.
The chapter begins on the same day that the last chapter ended but it's currently nighttime. Somewhere out in the sea we see a Milotic along with some other water Pokémon consisting of a school of Magikarp, Mantyke, Goldeen, and Seaking currently swimming away from something. As they keep swimming, they hear a voice.
"Hyper Beam!" The voice says as a Hyper Beam heads for the water types. When it's about to hit the Magikarp's Milotic gets in the way of the blast and takes the hit creating an explosion. When the explosion clears Milotic has some scratches on its body and is groaning in pain. Milotic looks in the air and sees a woman standing on top of a Salamence. The water types swim over to Milotic and ask if it's okay with the mon nodding as it tells them to quickly swim away with the mons nodding. As they begin to swim away the woman speaks.
"You're not going anywhere Salamence fire another Hyper Beam!" The woman says the dragon roars and fires another beam that goes to hit the water types but Milotic gets in the way again and takes the hit allowing the water types to swim away. Milotic then summons a mirror in front of it and fires a big beam that goes to hit Salamence but the dragon narrowly dodges. When that happens the woman riding on the Salamence sees that the other water types are gone, she looks at Milotic and speaks.
"You succeeded in allowing your comrades to escape but you're not going anywhere Salamence Hyper Beam!" The woman calls Salamence roars and fires another Hyper Beam while Milotic fires a big Hydro Pump that connects with the beam. The 2 attacks go back and forth for a little bit but it's clear that the Hyper Beam's stronger than the Hydro Pump as the beam destroys the Hydro Pump and hits Milotic creating an explosion. Milotic cries out in pain as it's sent flying a few feet back laying down in defeat, the woman looks at Milotic points her left arm forward that has a cannon on it and speaks.
"You're mine" The woman says as she's about to fire her cannon suddenly a lightning bolt comes crashing down which almost hits Salamence making it along with the woman lose concentration. When that happens, Milotic sees this as its chance to escape as it dives deep into the water. Once Milotic's gone the woman has an annoyed look on her face as a plane appears next to her, a door opens showcasing a man as he speaks.
"Madam Hunter J do you want us to go after it?!" The man asks as J looks at him and speaks.
"No from the looks of it, it seems like a storm's about to start instead we'll circle the area as I'm sure it hasn't gotten far" J says with the man nodding. After that J along with her Salamence enter the plane, the plane then turns invisible and flies away as the storm's starting to get worse. Deep in the water we see the injured Milotic as she is swimming, she is then caught by a current. Milotic tries to swim away from it but cannot as it is too tired, Milotic then closes its eyes as the current takes her away.
It is now the next day as we see Ash, Misty, Leaf, and Tracey on another island. Last night not wanting to get caught up in the storm they made an emergency stop on a nearby island. Currently we see the group on the beach with their Pokémon. Today Ash's Pokemon consists of Pikachu, Riolu, Froakie, Lapras, Gyarados, Charizard and Gengar. Misty's Pokemon are Vaporeon, Golisopod, Arctovish, Sobble, Quaxly, Togepi, and Tirtouga. Leaf's Pokemon are Venusaur, shiny Talonflame, Boltund, Bewear, Palossand and Espathra. And Tracey's Pokemon are Smeargle, Maril and Venonat.
In the water we see Gyarados, Lapras, Arctovish, Golisopod, and Tirtouga happily playing in the water together. On the beach we see Boltund, Bewear, Maril, Venonat, and Togepi happily playing with a ball. In the shade we see Venusaur, Talonflame, Espathra, and Palossand taking a nap while Smeargle along with Tracey sketch them as Leaf watches. Misty along with Vaporeon, Sobble, and Quaxly are walking along the beach while Ash's training his Pokémon as he calls for a command.
"Okay Pikachu use Thunderbolt and Gengar counter with Shadow Ball!" Ash calls Pikachu fires the electric bolt while Gengar fires a ball of ghostly energy. The 2 attacks collide creating an explosion. Out of the explosion Pikachu appears in front of Gengar and begins to spark its right fist as Ash speaks.
"Pikachu use Thunder Punch and Gengar counter with Shadow Punch!" Ash calls Pikachu covers its fist in electricity while Gengar covers its left fist in ghost energy as it connects with Pikachu. The 2-mons begin trying to push each other back Gengar then gets its right fist ready as Ash speaks.
"Now Gengar use Ice Punch and Pikachu dodge!" Ash calls Gengar covers its fist in ice and goes to upper cut Pikachu, but the yellow mouse quickly jumps back landing a few feet away. When that happens Gengar looks at Pikachu as Ash speaks.
"Now Gengar use Psychic to hold Pikachu in place!" Ash calls Gengar fires the psychic waves as it captures the yellow mouse. Pikachu tries to break free but can't get out of the psychic hold, Pikachu then looks at Gengar as Ash speaks.
"Okay Gengar now let's try a Will-O-Wisp!" Ash calls Gengar nods it builds up fire then creates 5 wisps around it and fires them at Pikachu. As the wisps are about to hit Pikachu Ash speaks.
"Pikachu quick dodge with Double Team!" Ash calls just when the wisps are about to hit it Pikachu quickly creates multiple clones of itself dodging the attack. When that happens Pikachu along with its clones' stare at Gengar with the ghost staring back. As they are about to charge at each other Ash speaks.
"Okay that's enough!" Ash says as Pikachu and Gengar stop Ash then walks over to them. When he gets close enough, he speaks.
"Great work guys and Gengar your Will-O-Wisp is looking great! Looks like that training with Charizard and the other fire types back at Oak's ranch really paid off" Ash says making Gengar smile as Ash speaks.
"Okay you guys can take a break for now" Ash says with the 2-mons nodding as they run over to Boltund, Bewear, Maril, Venonat, and Togepi and join them in playing ball. Ash looks at them and smiles. He then looks over at Charizard, Riolu, and Froakie and speaks.
"Okay I'm going to be training you guys next. Riolu, Froakie you will be working together and battle Charizard" Ash says with the 3-mons nodding. After that, the 3 of them get into their battle positions and look at each other as Ash speaks.
"Okay Charizard use Flamethrower and Riolu, Froakie dodge!" Ash calls Charizard fires the stream of fire it goes to hit Riolu and Froakie but the 2 mons easily dodge by jumping in the air. As they are in the air Charizard appears and has both of its fists ready as Ash speaks.
"Charizard use Brick Break and Riolu, Froakie use Double Team!" Ash calls Charizard's hands glow white and goes to hit the 2 mons. But Riolu and Froakie quickly manage to summon clones avoiding Charizard's attack. Charizard looks around and sees Riolu and Froakie's clones surrounding it as Ash speaks.
"Riolu use Aura Sphere and Froakie use Water Pulse!" Ash calls Riolu and Froakie along with their clones fire their moves that go to hit Charizard, but the fire lizard isn't worried as Ash speaks.
"Charizard use Air Slash!" Ash calls Charizard's wings glow as it spins around firing multiple slashes of wind everywhere easily destroying the attacks along with Riolu and Froakie's clones. Once the clones are gone Charizard doesn't see the real Riolu and Froakie anywhere. As Charizard continues to look the two mons appear behind the fire lizard as Ash speaks.
"Froakie use Aerial Ace and Riolu use Power Up Punch!" Ash calls the 2 mons go to hit Charizard as the fire lizard gets its tail ready Ash speaks.
"Charizard use Dragon Tail!" Ash calls Charizard covers its tail in green dragon energy lifts it up and slams it on Riolu and Froakie sending them back down on the ground creating a dust cloud. When the dust clears the 2 mons are groaning in pain but can still battle as Ash speaks.
"Charizard use Flamethrower and Riolu, Froakie dodge!" Ash calls Riolu and Froakie look up in the air they see Charizard flying towards them then fires the stream of fire. Froakie and Riolu quickly jump out of the way dodging the attack as Charizard lands and gets its wings ready as Ash speaks.
"Now Charizard use Air Slash!" Ash calls Charizard's wings glow blue then fires multiple slashes of wind towards Riolu and Froakie as Ash speaks.
"Froakie, Riolu counter with Aerial Ace and Power Up Punch!" Ash calls the 2 mons get their fists ready as they begin to punch the slashes of wind easily destroying them. Once they get rid of the Air Slash, they see Charizard heating up its mouth as Ash speaks.
"Charizard use Flamethrower and Riolu, Froakie counter with Aura Sphere and Water Pulse!" Ash calls Charizard fires the stream of fire while Riolu and Froakie fire a Aura Sphere and Water Pulse respectively. When the attacks collide, the Flamethrower starts to push the 2 attacks back but Riolu and Froakie yell putting more power into their moves until there's an explosion. When the explosion clears Charizard looks at Riolu and Froakie with the 2-mons looking at him as Ash speaks.
"Nice Riolu and Froakie were able to match Charizard's Flamethrower" Ash says to himself as he smiles and speaks.
"Alright let's keep going!" Ash says with the 3-mons nodding as they continue their training. Meanwhile, with Leaf, Tracey, and Smeargle. Tracey along with Smeargle have finished their painting of Venusaur, Talonflame, Espathra, and Palossand sleeping. Tracey looks at Leaf and speaks.
"So, Leaf what do you think?" Tracey asks while showing her the picture as Leaf smiles and speaks.
"Amazing! You really captured my Pokemon thank you Tracey and Smeargle!" Leaf says happily making Tracey and Smeargle smile. We now cut over to Misty who's walking on the side of the beach with Vaporeon, Sobble, and Quaxly Misty has a smile on her face and speaks.
"This is nice don't you agree?" Misty asks with the 3-mons nodding. As they continue to walk something suddenly comes a shore as Misty speaks.
"Hm? What's that?" Misty questions she continues to look until she sees an injured Milotic. Misty along with her Pokémon have surprised looks on their faces as they run over to it. When they get close enough Misty looks at the mon and speaks.
"These injuries... Guys I need help!" Misty yells alerting everyone as they quickly run over to her. When they get close enough, they all get surprised looks on their faces while looking at the Milotic as Tracey speaks.
"A Milotic?! and it's injured" Tracey says as Ash and Leaf take out their Pokedex's to scan the mon.
"Milotic, the Tender Pokémon. A Water type. Milotic live deep in lakes with clear water. They appear when conflict is imminent, calming people's hearts." The Pokedex says. The Milotic groans in pain as Misty looks at Tracey and speaks.
"Tracey do you've a potion?" Misty asks as Tracey speaks.
"Yeah, here's a Hyper Potion" Tracey says as he gives Misty the potion. Misty looks at Milotic and speaks.
"This will sting but it'll help you" Misty says as she begins to spray the mon. Milotic groans a little in pain but then feels relief as it looks at Misty and tells her thank you making Misty smile as Ash speaks.
"I wonder how this Milotic got so injured?" Ash says as Leaf speaks.
"Maybe it was from the storm last night" Leaf says as Tracey speaks.
"I don't think so looking at these injuries closely they look like they came from a Pokémon" Tracey says with the 2 kids nodding as Ash speaks.
"So, that means it was in a battle" Ash says with the others nodding. As Misty continues to treat Milotic Ash's Gyarados looks at the mon curiously. As Gyarados continues to look at Milotic it suddenly remembers the Feebas it met before he left for his journey. At first Gyarados thinks that it can't be the same mon but then Milotic looks at Gyarados she gets the memories too and speaks.
"Milo" Milotic says telling Gyarados that it's great to see him again. Gyarados smiles as this confirms to him that this is the same Feebas it met before it left on its journey. The 2 mons then begin to talk about their travels, as they're talking everyone else looks at them and have confused looks on their faces as Leaf speaks.
"It looks like they've met before" Leaf says with the group nodding as Ash speaks.
"Whoa! Thats great Gyarados you reunited with your friend" Ash says with the mon nodding Gyarados then introduces Milotic to the groups other Pokémon who greet it with Milotic greeting them. While the Pokémon are talking the group look at them and smile. As the Pokémon continue to talk, they hear a voice.
"Hyper Beam!" The voice says suddenly a beam heads for the group as it's about to hit Milotic Gyarados quickly uses its own Hyper Beam that connects causing both beams to explode as Misty speaks.
"What was that?!" Misty exclaims but neither Ash, Leaf, or Tracey know when the smoke clears up in the air everyone sees a Salamence and a woman riding on top of it as Ash speaks.
"Hey what's wrong with you! You almost hit us!" Ash says in anger as the woman speaks.
"I wish I had hit you that way you wouldn't have gotten in my way" The woman responds making Ash angry as Tracey takes a closer look at the woman gets a surprised look on his face and speaks.
"You're Hunter J!" Tracey exclaims making the group look at him as the woman speaks.
"So, you've heard of me" J says as Ash looks at Tracey and speaks.
"Who's Hunter J?" Ash asks as Tracey speaks.
"Hunter J's an infamous Pokémon Hunter who goes around the world stealing Pokémon from the wild and from trainers then sells them. It also doesn't matter whether the Pokémon is weak or strong as long as her client is happy, she doesn't care" Tracey says with the group nodding as Misty speaks.
"Wait does that mean that you're the one that hurt Milotic?!" Misty asks as the woman looks at her and speaks.
"That's right it was protecting some other water types last night and got away because of the storm. But now that it's weakened, I'll be taking it" J says making the group mad as Ash speaks.
"Milotic's not going anywhere, and you'll have to get through us!" Ash says with Misty, Leaf, and Tracey agreeing as their Pokémon get into battle stances J smiles and speaks.
"Fine have it your way Grunts Go!" J yells as all of a sudden multiple men appear and throw their Pokeball's forward sending out their Pokémon. The Pokémon consist of Zubat, Golbat, Woobat, Swobat, Gligar, and Gliscor. The mons glare at the groups Pokémon with their mons glaring back as one of the men speaks.
"Attack!" The man says as the Zubat's, Golbat's, Woobat's, Swobat's, Gligar's, and Gliscor's all charge forward Ash speaks.
"Here they come!" Ash yells as he calls for a command.
"Pikachu use Thunderbolt, Charizard Flamethrower, Gyarados, Hydro Pump, Gengar Shadow Ball, Riolu Vacuum Wave, Froakie Water Pulse, and Lapras Ice Beam!" Ash calls the 7-mons fire their attacks and manage to defeat many Zubat's/Golbat's but some of the other's dodge. The Woobat's and Swobat's begin firing multiple slashes of wind as Misty speaks.
"Vaporeon, Sobble, Quaxly use Hydro Pump, Tirtouga Rockslide, Arctovish Blizzard, and Golisopod use Ice Beam!" Misty calls the 6-mons fire their moves and are able to easily take out a lot of Golbat's, Gligar's, and Gliscor's. The Woobat's along with the Swobat's continue to head for the group as Leaf speaks.
"Venusaur use Razor Leaf, Espartha use Psychic, Bewear Thunder Punch, Talonflame Flamethrower, Paloosand use Shadow Ball, and Boltund use Thunderbolt!" Leaf calls her Pokemon attack too and are able to easily defeat a lot of the Woobat and Swobat as Tracey speaks.
"Maril use Hydro Pump, Venonat use Psybeam, and Smeargle use Sketch to copy Venonat's Psybeam!" Tracey calls Maril along with Venonat fire their attacks while Smeargle uses Sketch copying Venonat's attack and launches its own Psybeam. The 3 mons easily knock a few of the Woobat, Swobat and Gligar away, but a few Gliscor's head for Milotic as the grunts speak.
"Use X Scissor!" The grunts call the Gliscor's cross their arms they're about to hit Milotic as Ash speaks.
"Gyarados use Aqua Tail!" Ash calls Gyarados quickly covers its tail in water and hits the Gliscor's easily knocking them away. Milotic looks at Gyarados and tells the sea serpent thank you as Gyarados looks back at her and smiles. Gyarados then looks forward and continues to battle. As the group's battling the grunts Pokémon, they're easily defeating them one by one this is making J annoyed as she speaks.
"Ridiculous" J says as she jumps off Salamence's back and safely lands on the ground. J pulls out 5 Pokeball's throws them high in the air and speaks.
"Come Out!" J says as what appear from the Pokeball's are a Drapion, Grimmsnarl, Magnezone, Centiskorch, and a fishlike Pokémon with a grey body, bright magenta fins, and red eyes. Ash along with Leaf look at the fish and pull out their Pokedex's to scan it.
"Veluza the Jettison Pokémon a Water/Psychic type. Veluza has excellent regenerative capabilities. It sheds spare flesh from its body to boost its agility, then charges at its prey." The Pokedex says as Ash speaks.
"They all look strong" Ash says with the others agreeing as J speaks.
"Salamence head for Milotic and get rid of anyone that stands in your way. The rest of you attack!" J calls with her Pokémon nodding as they charge forward. J's Salamence heads for Milotic, Ash's Gyarados stands protectively in front of Milotic and gets ready to battle Salamence. When Salamence's getting closer Ash speaks.
"Flamethrower!" Ash calls Salamence notices a Flamethrower going to hit it from its right side and quickly dodges. When Salamence sees who fired the move it sees Charizard who's staring and growling at Salamence with Salamence growling back as Ash speaks.
"Charizard, you keep Salamence busy and Gyarados keep protecting Milotic!" "Arctovish and Golisopod join Gyarados and protect Milotic too!" Ash and Misty call Arctovish and Golisopod stand next to Gyarados and help it protect Milotic. Meanwhile, up in the sky Salamence and Charizard continue to look at each other until Salamence roars. Salamence fires a Dragon Pulse with Charizard firing its own the 2 dragon beams clash creating an explosion. Out of the explosion appears Charizard it goes to hit with Dragon Claw, but Salamence dodges the attack by backing away. Salamence then fires a Hydro Pump that goes to hit Charizard, but the fire lizard counters with Thunder Punch and easily destroys the move. Salamence then appears in front of Charizard covers its tail in green dragon energy and slaps Charizard across the face causing damage and moving Charizard out of the way. Salamence begins flying towards Milotic again, but Charizard manages to grab Salamence's tail and begins to spin it around. Charizard then throws Salamence towards the ground, but Salamence manages to quickly readjust itself and fly back in the air. Salamence and Charizard look at each other as they fire a Hyper Beam and Flamethrower respectively the two attacks collide creating an explosion. When the explosion clears Charizard and Salamence charge at each other to continue their battle. Back on the ground J's other 5 Pokémon continue heading for the groups Pokémon as Ash speaks.
"Pikachu use Thunder times 5 to stop them!" Ash calls Pikachu fires 5 large Thunders at J's Pokémon as J speaks.
"Magnezone use Zap Cannon!" J calls Magnezone summons 5 electric balls then fires them at the 5 Thunders. The attacks clash creating an explosion, J's Pokémon continue heading for the groups Pokémon as Leaf speaks.
"Venusaur use Leaf Storm and Talonflame use Fire Blast!" Leaf calls Venusaur and Talonflame roar they fire their moves at the 5 mons as J speaks.
"Centiskorch use Fire Blast and Drapion use Sludge Bomb!" J calls Centiskorch fires the big blast of fire as it collides with Talonflame's and explodes. Drapion fires multiple bombs of Sludge that easily destroy Venusaur's Leaf Storm and head for the plant dinosaur as Leaf speaks.
"Venusaur use Power Whip to deflect the Sludge Bombs!" Leaf calls Venusaur summons multiple green vines and easily knocks the bombs of sludge away. When that happens J's Grimmsnarl appears in front of Venusaur as J speaks.
"Fire Punch!" J calls Grimmsnarl covers its right fist in fire and punches Venusaur hard in the face. Venusaur's sent flying and crashes into Leaf's Paloosand causing both mons to fall on the ground. When the dust clears everyone can see Venusaur and Paloosand groaning in pain as Tracey speaks.
"What power" Tracey says in shock as J smiles. Leaf gets mad and calls for her next command.
"Bewear use Superpower on Grimmsnarl!" Leaf calls Bewear roars as it bulks up its body then shoots forward reaching Grimmsnarl instantly. When Bewear goes to punch Grimmsnarl Magnezone appears in front of it as J speaks.
"Magnezone use Protect and Centiskorch use Fire Lash!" J calls Magnezone summons a protective barrier and blocks Bewear's attack. Centiskorch summons a fiery whip from the ground and jabs Bewear hard in the stomach making the mon cough in pain, Bewear then sees Grimmsnarl getting its left fist ready as J speaks.
"Now Grimmsnarl use Spirit Break!" J calls Grimmsnarl's left fist glows in fairy energy and goes to hit Bewear as Ash speaks.
"Pikachu intercept it with Extreme Speed!" Ash calls Pikachu shoots forward at blinding speed and connects with Grimmsnarl's fist creating an explosion causing the 5 mons to slide away from each other. Bewear looks at Pikachu and tells it thanks with Pikachu nodding as Leaf speaks.
"Thanks Ash" Leaf says with Ash nodding. Tracey and Misty run over to them as Misty speaks.
"She's strong" Misty says as Tracey speaks.
"I've heard that she's tough, but I didn't think that she'd be this tough" Tracey says as Leaf speaks.
"I agree Venusaur and Bewear only got hit with a few attacks and already look like they could faint at any moment" Leaf says as Ash speaks.
"Well in that case we'll have to beat her before she beats us, we also have her outnumbered and Gyarados, along with Misty's Arctovish and Golisopod are protecting Milotic and dealing with the grunts. So, even if her Pokémon get past us, they'll have to deal with them next." Ash says with the others nodding as J looks at them and speaks.
"You all seem confident that you can beat me" J says as Ash speaks.
"That's because we are and will beat you!" Ash states with Misty, Leaf, Tracey and their Pokémon agreeing with them as J smirks and speaks.
"Fine then play time's over Magnezone use Flash Cannon and Centiskorch use Fire Blast!" J calls the 2-mons fire their moves as Ash and Misty speak.
"Pikachu use Thunderbolt" "Vaporeon use Hydro Pump!" The 2 trainers call Pikachu and Vaporeon fire their respective moves that clash with the Flash Cannon and Fire Blast creating an explosion. When the explosion clears Veluza appears from the smoke as Leaf and Tracey speak.
"Espathra use Psybeam!" "Maril use Hydro Pump, and Venonat, Smeargle use Psybeam!" Both trainers call the 4-mons fire their moves at Veluza as J speaks.
"Use Aqua Jet!" J calls as the 4 attacks are about to hit Veluza the mon quickly covers its body in water and shoots forward. Veluza goes so fast that it easily by passes the 4 attacks, hits the 4 mons and easily knocks them out. Leaf along with Tracey have surprised looks on their faces and return their Pokémon. Leaf then looks forward and speaks.
"Let's try this Venusaur use Power Whip and grab Veluza!" "Dodge" Leaf and J call Venusaur roars as it summons multiple grassy vines and send them at Veluza. Veluza isn't worried as it begins to easily evade the vines which surprises Leaf and Venusaur as Ash speaks.
"Gengar stop Veluza with Psychic!" Ash calls Gengar fires the waves of psychic energy and manages to stop Veluza. Ash then looks at Leaf with her nodding as they look forward and speak.
"Use Wild Charge!" Ash and Leaf call Pikachu along with Boltund run forward and begin covering their bodies in electricity. As Pikachu and Boltund go to hit Veluza J speaks.
"Magnezone Protect then Flash Cannon!" J calls Magnezone instantly appears in front of the 2 mons and summons a protective barrier blocking their attacks. Once the barrier goes down Magnezone fires a point-blank Flash Cannon that consumes Pikachu and Boltund sending them crashing into a nearby boulder as Ash and Leaf speak.
"Pikachu!" "Boltund!" Ash and Leaf call as the 2 mons appear from the boulder, they're groaning in pain but can still battle. Ash and Leaf let out a relief sigh as J speaks.
"Now Drapion run forward!" J says as her Drapion begins running forward Ash speaks.
"Riolu, Froakie stop Drapion with Vacuum Wave and Water Pulse!" Ash calls the 2 mons appear in front of Drapion and fire their moves at the poison scorpion as J speaks.
"Knock those attacks away and pin them down!" J calls Drapion easily knocks the 2 attacks away then extends its arms forward grabbing Riolu and Froakie's necks. Drapion then pins the 2 mons on the ground and begins to choke them as Ash speaks.
"Gengar, Lapras help them with Shadow Ball and Hydro pump!" Talonflame use Flamethrower!" "Tirtouga use Rockslide and Sobble, Vaporeon use Hydro Pump!" Ash, Leaf, and Misty call as the 6-mons fire their moves to help Riolu and Froakie J speaks.
"Grimmsnarl use Darkest Lariat!" J calls Grimmsnarl gets in front of the attacks covers its hands in dark fire and spins easily destroying the attacks. Ash, Leaf, Misty along with their Pokemon are surprised while Grimmsnarl smiles. Meanwhile Drapion continues to choke Riolu and Froakie. The 2 mons try to pull Drapion's pincers away from their necks but are unable too as Drapion's too strong. As Drapion continues to choke them Riolu points her right palm forward and starts forming an Aura Sphere as Ash speaks.
"Riolu use Aura Sphere!" Ash calls Riolu yells as she fires the blue ball of fighting energy which hits Drapion in the face creating an explosion. Drapion lets go of Riolu and Froakie and slides back a few feet away. Riolu and Froakie stand back up as Ash speaks.
"Are you two, okay?!" Ash asks with the 2-mons nodding as they stare back at Drapion. Meanwhile J along with her men have surprised looks on their faces as J thinks.
"His Riolu knows Aura Sphere? Well, that's interesting" J says to herself and smirks. Meanwhile with Gyarados, Arctovish, and Golisopod they continue to battle the multiple Gliscor's that are trying to attack Milotic. As they continue to fight a few of the Gliscor's fly high in the air and begin firing multiple sharp stones toward Gyarados, Arctovish, Golisopod and Milotic. The sharp stones are going to hit them Ash speaks.
"Gyarados use Hydro Pump to blow the Stone Edge away then fly in the air and use Waterfall!" Ash calls Gyarados fires a big Hydro Pump that easily destroys all of the sharp stones. Gyarados then begins to fly in the air covers its body in water and hits all of the Gliscor's that were trying to attack it. The Gliscor's fall from the sky landing on the ground knocked out while Gyarados stays in the air and roars in victory. J along with her men are surprised to see a flying Gyarados. J looks at Gyarados she smiles then calls for her next commands.
"Grimmsnarl keep running forward!" J calls Grimmsnarl continues to run forward as Misty speaks.
"You're not going anywhere Sobble, Quaxly, Vaporeon use Hydro Pump!" Misty calls the 3-mons fire their moves at Grimmsnarl as J speaks.
"Magnezone use Zap Cannon and Veluza use Aqua Jet!" J calls Magnezone fires an electric ball that easily destroys the 3 Hydro Pumps. The ball goes to hit Sobble, Quaxly, and Vaporeon but they manage to dodge in time. Once they do Veluza appears, the fish goes to hit Sobble and Quaxly first, but Vaporeon manages to push them away in time and takes Veluza's hit head on. Vaporeon's sent flying and lands below Misty's feet knocked out as Misty speaks.
"Vaporeon!" Misty says in concern while the fox groans in pain. Meanwhile Grimmsnarl continues running forward as Ash speaks.
"Gengar stop Grimmsnarl with Dazzling Gleam!" Ash calls Gengar flies towards Grimmsnarl and appears in front of it. As Gengar's about to fire the Dazzling Gleam J speaks.
"Magnezone Flash Cannon!" J calls Magnezone instantly fires the steel beam which hits Gengar and knocks it away making it spin out of control as Ash speaks.
"Gengar!" Ash calls in concern as J speaks.
"Now Centiskorch use Fire Blast, and Magnezone use Thunder!" J calls the 2-mons fire their moves at Ash, Misty, Leaf, and Tracey. The 2 attacks are about to hit them as Ash, Misty, and Leaf speak.
"Pikachu use Thunder and Lapras use Hydro Pump!" Tirtouga use Rockslide and Quaxly use Aqua Cutter!" "Talonflame use Fire Blast and Venusaur use Sludge Bomb!" The 3 trainers call their Pokemon quickly fire their attacks which connect with the Fire Blast and Thunder creating a big explosion along with a gust of wind. When the wind goes away out of the smoke appears Grimmsnarl it jumps over the group and lands behind them. Grimmsnarl then starts running towards Milotic but Gyarados, Golisopod, and Arctovish stand protectively over it and get into battle stances as Misty and Ash speak.
"Golisopod use First Impression and Arctovish use Blizzard!" "Gyarados use Hyper Beam!" "Dodge Grimmsnarl!" Ash, Misty, and J call. Golisopod disappears then reappears in front of Grimmsnarl and goes to hit it with its right claw. Grimmsnarl manages to duck in time covers its left fist in fairy energy (using Spirit Break) and punches Golisopod hard in the stomach making the bug samurai cough in pain. Golisopod's then sent flying a few feet away and crashes into multiple rocks. Once Golisopod's gone Grimmsnarl continues to run forward and sees Arctovish fire off a Blizzard. Grimmsnarl isn't worried as it uses Darkest Lariat and easily blows the Blizzard away. Grimmsnarl gets in front of Arctovish covers its left fist in fairy energy using Spirit Break again and punches Arctovish away making it land in the water Ash's Lapras quickly goes to check on it. Once Arctovish's gone Grimmsnarl looks at Gyarados the sea serpent fires a big Hyper Beam that heads for the mon as J speaks.
"Magnezone Thunder!" J calls before the Hyper Beam hits Grimmsnarl Magnezone summons a big Thunder from the sky that shocks Gyarados making it roar in pain as its Hyper Beam disappears. Once the Hyper Beam's gone Grimmsnarl begins running towards Milotic as Ash speaks.
"Gyarados break out of that Thunder then go after Grimmsnarl with Bounce" "Magnezone use Charge Beam!" Both trainers call Gyarados manages to easily break out of the Thunder glows blue and quickly begins flying towards Grimmsnarl. As Gyarados's just a few inches away from hitting Grimmsnarl Magnezone quickly fires a Charge Beam which hits Gyarados and knocks it away. Once Gyarados's gone Grimmsnarl reaches Milotic, Milotic goes to fire a Hydro Pump at Grimmsnarl as J speaks.
"Throat Chop then grab it!" J calls Grimmsnarl covers its right hand in dark energy and jabs Milotic's throat hard making the mon cough in pain. Grimmsnarl then grabs Milotic and begins to hold it tightly, so that the mon doesn't break free as Tracey speaks.
"Milotic's in trouble!" Tracey says as Ash, Misty, and Leaf speak.
"Pikachu use Extreme Speed!" "Sobble, Quaxly use Aqua Jet!" "Talonflame use Flame Charge and Boltund use Wild Charge!" Ash, Misty, and Leaf call. The 5 mons shoot forward at a fast speed going to help Milotic. As they're getting closer J speaks.
"Veluza use Aqua Jet and Liquidation!" J calls Veluza covers its body in water shoots forward and instantly reaches the 5-mons. Veluza then summons 2 water blades and knocks them away stopping their advances as Ash calls for his next command.
"Gengar use Phantom Force!" "Drapion Sucker Punch!" Ash and J call when Gengar's about to go into its portal Drapion appears in front of it and punches the ghost in the face sending it crashing back down on the beach. While Drapion's busy Riolu and Froakie go to save Milotic J notices and speaks.
"Centiskorch grab them with Fire Lash!" "Riolu, Froakie use Double Team!" Both trainers call Centiskorch summons 2 fire whips that appear from the ground and go to grab the 2 mons. Riolu and Froakie quickly create multiple clones and dodge the attack as J speaks.
"Now Magnezone use Discharge!" J calls before Ash can call for a command Magnezone fires electricity everywhere easily getting rid of Riolu and Froakie's clones and shocking the 2 mons. Riolu and Froakie cry out in pain as once the Discharge stops J speaks.
"Now Drapion pin them down!" J calls Drapion appears behind Riolu and Froakie grabs their necks and pins them down on the ground as Ash speaks.
"Riolu, Froakie!" Ash calls in concern as J speaks.
"Now that all of the obstacles are out of the way it's time" J says she points her left arm forward as the cannon on it fires out a beam that hits Milotic and turns it to stone. Ash, Misty, Leaf, and Tracey have surprised looks on their faces as J speaks.
"Mission complete pull-out men!" J says with her grunts nodding suddenly a large plane appears and lands on the ground. A hatch opens allowing the grunts to run inside, as for Milotic after turning to stone 2 disk fly over and put it in a case. The petrified Milotic is then taken toward the ship as Ash speaks.
"Gyarados quick use Bounce!" Ash calls Gyarados roars it glows blue and shoots forward going to save Milotic as J smiles and speaks.
"I knew you'd do that" J says as she points her cannon forward again fires it and turns Gyarados to stone which surprises everyone as Ash yells.
"Gyarados!" Ash calls in worry. Up in the air still in its battle with Salamence Charizard looks back he sees that Gyarados has been turned to stone and has a surprised look on his face as J speaks.
"Salamence use Dragon Rush and end it with Hyper Beam!" "Charizard look out!" Both trainers call Charizard can't dodge in time as Salamence covers its body in dragon energy and rams its head hard into Charizard's stomach making the fire lizard cough in pain. Salamence then fires a point-blank Hyper Beam which consumes Charizard and sends it crashing back on the ground creating an explosion as Ash yells.
"Charizard!" Ash yells in worry as when the smoke clears everyone can see Charizard laying on its back groaning in pain. Charizard opens its eyes and sees that Salamence has a smirk on its face as it flies back to J with Grimmsnarl, Centiskorch, Veluza, and Magnezone joining as J speaks.
"Drapion!" J says with the poison scorpion nodding as it looks at its trainer and is still holding Riolu and Froakie. Drapion throws Froakie away as J fires her cannon and turns Riolu to stone shocking the group again as Ash yells.
"Riolu!" Ash yells in concern as Drapion appears next to J Riolu along with Gyarados are then put in cases and are loaded onto the ship as J speaks.
"Our work here's done let's go" J says with her Pokemon nodding as they go to walk on the ship Ash yells.
"HOLD IT YOU'RE NOT GOING ANYWHERE! GIVE GYARADOS, RIOLU, AND MILOTIC BACK!" Ash yells as he along with Misty, Leaf, Tracey and their Pokémon start running forward J speaks.
"Salamence get rid of them with Hyper Beam" J says with the dragon nodding as it fires a big Hyper Beam that almost hits the group and creates an explosion blowing them all away. After that J along with her Pokémon walk into the ship. Just when the hanger to the door is about to close Misty along with Sobble, Quaxly, Tirtouga, and Gengar manage to sneak in. Once the door fully closes the ship flies back in the air then disappears. Once the ship's gone we come to Ash, Leaf, Tracey and their Pokémon they're all groaning in pain as Tracey speaks.
"Is everyone okay?!" Tracey asks as Leaf speaks.
"We're fine" Leaf says with her Pokémon, along with Ash and Misty's saying they are too as Ash speaks.
"I'm not J not only took Milotic but also Gyarados and Riolu I got to get them back!" Ash says in frustration with Pikachu, Charizard, Froakie, and Lapras agreeing with him as Tracey speaks.
"I know how you feel Ash, but we don't know where J is right now" Tracey says with Ash nodding. Leaf then hears Togepi crying she picks up the mon and speaks.
"Togepi what's wrong?" Leaf asks as Togepi tries to explain but Leaf can't make out what the mon is saying as Ash speaks.
"Wait where's Misty?!" Ash says as he along with everyone else now notice that she's gone as Leaf speaks.
"That's why Togepi's crying because Misty isn't here" Leaf says as Tracey speaks.
"I also don't see her Sobble, Quaxly, Tirtouga and your Gengar Ash" Tracey says as Ash speaks.
"Now that you mention it, I don't see Gengar either" Ash says as Leaf speaks.
"Wait you guys don't think that they went inside the ship, do you?" Leaf asks surprising Ash and Tracey as Tracey speaks.
"That must be where they're!" Tracey says as Ash speaks.
"They can't handle Hunter J and her grunts themselves we need to help them" Ash says as Tracey speaks.
"But like I said earlier Ash we don't know where they went because Hunter J's ship turned invisible, and we don't even know where to start" Tracey says as Ash speaks.
"I don't care Misty along with my Pokémon and Milotic need our help and that ship couldn't have gotten far let's go guys!" Ash says with his Pokémon along with Misty's Golisopod, Vaporeon, and Arctovish roaring in agreement. Ash returns Lapras to her Pokeball as he along with his Pokémon and Misty's Pokémon run forward towards a nearby forest as Tracey speaks.
"Ash Wait!" Tracey yells but Ash's already gone as Leaf speaks.
"Come on let's go help him" Leaf says with Tracey nodding as they along with Leaf's other Pokémon head into the nearby forest too and begin their search. Meanwhile high in the sky we see Hunter J's ship it's completely invisible and continues to fly in the air. Inside the ship we see Hunter J along with one of her grunts in a room that's filled with Pokémon that have been turned to statues and are also in cases. They're currently looking at Milotic, Gyarados, and Riolu, the grunt looks at J and speaks.
"A flying Gyarados along with a Riolu that knows Aura Sphere will sell for a high price in the underground market" The man says as J speaks.
"That's what I'm hoping for, and have we already contacted our buyer for the Milotic?" J asks with the man nodding as he speaks.
"Yes, he said that he's looking forward to having a Milotic and will give us our payment upon delivery" The man says as J smiles and speaks.
"Good" J says as they then leave the room. Meanwhile hidden in the cargo hold we see Misty along with Sobble, Quaxly, Tirtouga, and Gengar. They're making sure that they're not spotted, once the grunts leave the 5 of them come out of their hiding place and let out a relief sigh as Misty speaks.
"Good looks like they're gone" Misty says with the 4-mons nodding as Misty speaks.
"Even though we entered this ship it's going to be hard to find Milotic, Gyarados, and Riolu we're going to have to be real sneaky so that we're not spotted" Misty says with the 4 mons agreeing with her. Misty looks around the cargo hold and sees clothes that the grunts were wearing. Misty gets an idea and speaks.
"Okay so Gengar I want you to carefully look around the ship and find Milotic, Gyarados, and Riolu. I'll be looking too but also wearing this outfit to keep me hidden and blend in with the other grunts" Misty says with the 4-mons nodding. After that Gengar disappears and begins its search around the ship for the 3-mons making sure it's not spotted. Misty then puts on the outfit and finds a hat that will cover her face. Misty returns Sobble, Quaxly, and Tirtouga to their Pokeball's, leaves the cargo room and begins her search too.
10 minutes go by and neither Misty nor Gengar have found Milotic, Gyarados, and Riolu. During the 10 minutes Gengar's done its best to avoid the grunts from seeing it and Misty's able to freely walk around because she's wearing the same outfit as the grunts. Misty checks multiple rooms but doesn't find Milotic, Gyarados, and Riolu in them. Misty's now on the top floor she opens the door and sees that she's now in the control room. Misty sees multiple grunts along with Hunter J who's sitting in the middle looking out the window, J along with the grunts look at the disguised Misty as one of the grunts speaks.
"What're you doing here?" The grunt asks as Misty gets a little nervous then manages to recompose herself as she speaks.
"I was just looking for the bathroom sorry to have disturb you I'll be taking my leave" Misty says as she's about to go away J speaks.
"Hold it" J says making Misty stop in her tracks as J speaks.
"How long have you been working here?" J asks Misty begins to sweat a little bit but manages to calm down as she looks at J and speaks.
"I just started mam" Misty responds as J smirks and speaks.
"Heh you're a bad liar" J says as her grunts immediately get into battle stances, Misty looks at J and speaks.
"How'd you know?" Misty asks as J speaks.
"I knew from the moment you walked in here that you weren't one of my grunts because I've handpicked everyone that works for me, so I know their faces and we also have enough staff. Also, my grunts refer to me as Madam J not "mam"" J says as Misty nods and speaks.
"Well looks like I don't need this anymore" Misty says as she throws her hat away revealing her face. She then throws 3 Pokeball's in the air sending out Sobble, Quaxly, and Tirtouga who immediately get into battles stances as one of the grunts speak.
"Hey, you're one of those kids we fought earlier!" The grunt says as Misty speaks.
"That's right and I'm here to save Milotic, Gyarados, and Riolu!" Misty states making the grunts angry as they're about to throw their Pokeball's forward J speaks.
"Wait!" J says causing her grunts to stop they look at her as she continues to speak.
"I'll deal with this one" J says with her grunts nodding as they put their Pokeball's away and back off. J then looks at Misty she has a curious look on her face then speaks.
"Tell me what're your parents' names" J asks making Misty confused as she speaks.
"Why do you need to know that?" Misty asks as J speaks.
"Just answer the question" J says in a serious tone as Misty speaks.
"My parents' names are Dan Ocean and Lola Ocean" Misty responds with J nodding as she speaks.
"So, I was right you're their child" J says as Misty speaks.
"Wait do you know my parents?" Misty asks as J speaks.
"Yes, I do a long time ago as I was in the process of stealing some Pokemon from a few trainers your parents got in my way. After that whenever I went to steal Pokemon your parents kept interfering again and again. So, one day when they were taking their children to get some Ice Cream, I drew in a young red head girl along with her Eevee towards a busy street with a Water Stone in my hand. When your parents noticed they jumped in the way and saved her, but they got hit by a truck and died" J says Misty has a surprised look on her face as she speaks.
"Wait that means that you're the one that got my parents killed?" Misty says as J smirks and speaks.
"Well, it wasn't really me that killed them but you" J says while having a sinister smile on her face making Misty angry as she yells.
"YOU MONSTER! Sobble use Hydro Pump, Quaxly Aqua Cutter, and Tirtouga use Rockslide!" Misty calls the 3-mons fire their attacks towards J. J smiles as she throws 2 Pokeball's forward sending out her Grimmsnarl and Drapion then calls for a command.
"Grimmsnarl use Darkest Lariat and Drapion grab Sobble and Quaxly!" J calls Grimmsnarl covers its fists in dark fire then spins easily knocking the 3 attacks away. Drapion then extends its arms it goes to grab Sobble and Quaxly as Misty speaks.
"Sobble, Quaxly dodge and use Aqua Jet!" Misty calls the 2 mons easily dodge Drapion's arms. They then cover their bodies in water and shoot forward going to hit Drapion as J speaks.
"Grimmsnarl use Protect then Hammer Arm!" J calls Grimmsnarl gets in front of Drapion and summons a protective barrier blocking the 2-mons attack as they're then bounced away. Grimmsnarl then covers both arms in white energy and goes to slam them down on Sobble and Quaxly as Misty speaks.
"Tirtouga use Roll Out!" Misty calls Tirtouga curls into a ball shoots forward and rams its head hard into Grimmsnarl's stomach making the mon cough in pain. Grimmsnarl quickly recovers it begins to hold onto Tirtouga tightly and begins to squeeze it making the mon cry out in pain as Misty speaks.
"Tirtouga! Sobble, Quaxly quick save Tirtouga with Aqua Jet!" "Now Drapion!" Both trainers call before Sobble and Quaxly can attack Drapion quickly extends its arms and successfully grabs Sobble and Quaxly. The 2 mons try to break free but can't as Drapion then slams them both on the ground making them groan in pain. Misty has a surprised look on her face as J speaks.
"Well, that was easy your parents put up a much better fight every time I encountered them, but I guess you wouldn't know that as they died before you got to know more about them" J says while having an evil smile on her face making Misty angry as she speaks.
"Shut Up! I know a lot about my parents from my sisters' stories and if they can beat you then so can I!" Misty yells as J speaks.
"Really you think that you can beat me even though I've all 3 of your Pokemon captured and let me guess you don't have any other Pokemon with you right?" J says making Misty angry as she begins to think.
"She's right I don't have any of my other Pokemon with me, but this is fine I don't need to beat J I just need to stall until Gengar saves Milotic, Gyarados, and Riolu. After that I'll return Sobble, Quaxly, and Tirtouga to their Pokeball's and we'll make our escape" Misty says to herself as J speaks.
"That look in your eyes tells me that you still plan on escaping, but I wonder if you can" J says making Misty confused as she speaks.
"What do you mean by that?!" Misty asks as J speaks.
"Let me show you Drapion use Poison Fang and Grimmsnarl keep squeezing Tirtouga!" J calls with her Pokémon nodding. Grimmsnarl begins to squeeze Tirtouga tighter, while Drapion has poison come down its arms and hits Sobble and Quaxly. The 3 mons all cry out in pain as Misty speaks.
"What do you think you're doing?!" Misty yells in anger as J speaks.
"Simple I'm keeping you from escaping you wouldn't want to leave your Pokemon behind while they're getting attacked, would you?" J asks while having an evil smile on her face. Misty doesn't respond as J smiles and speaks.
"That look on your face is all I need to know" J says as Misty speaks.
"Why're you doing this?!" Misty asks as J speaks.
"Well for 1 I love stealing Pokémon as it's easy money and 2 I want to torture the child of Dan and Lola. Now Drapion, Grimmsnarl put more power into it!" J says with the mons nodding Grimmsnarl increases its hold on Tirtouga while Drapion keeps using Poison Fang on Sobble and Quaxly. The 3 mons continue to cry out in pain as Misty gets tears in her eyes and speaks.
"Stop please my Pokémon didn't do anything to you!" Misty says pleadingly with tears coming down her face as J looks at her and speaks.
"You should've thought of that before you infiltrated my ship now it's time for you to watch your Pokémon die and don't worry once they're dead I'll kill you next" J says while having an evil smile on her face. Misty's completely shocked she looks at Sobble, Quaxly, and Tirtouga they continue to cry out in pain as Misty speaks.
"STOPPPPPPPPP!" Misty screams from the top of her lungs with tears flowing down her face while J smiles. Sobble, Quaxly, and Tirtouga hear Misty crying not wanting to see their trainer cry the 3 mons get determined looks on their faces and yell.
"SOB!" "QUAX!" "TIRT!" The 3-mons yell as they suddenly begin to glow white surprising everyone as J speaks.
"What?!" J says in shock as Misty speaks.
"They're evolving" Misty says as everyone continues to watch. Tirtouga grows bigger making it so Grimmsnarl can't hold on to it and is forced to let go. The light blinds Drapion's eyes as it's forced to let go too, the glowing Sobble and Quaxly then hit Drapion with Aqua Jet sending the mon flying a few feet away as it crashes into a few computers. After that the still glowing Sobble, Quaxly, and Tirtouga stand next to each other as they continue their evolution. Once the light fades away what were once Sobble, Quaxly, and Tirtouga are now Drizzile, Quaxwell, and Carracosta. The 3-mons roar sending out a big shock wave that blows some of the grunts away, once the 3 mons stop roaring, they have serious looks on their faces and are standing protectively in front of Misty as the girl speaks.
"You 3 evolved to protect me?" Misty asks with the 3-mons nodding as they stare back at Hunter J, Grimmsnarl and Drapion. J has an annoyed look on her face but then recomposes herself as she speaks.
"Well, I was originally planning on killing you alongside your Pokémon but now that your Pokémon evolved, I'll turn them stone and sell them to the highest bidder" J says as Misty wipes her tears away then speaks.
"That's not happening!" Misty says with the 3-mons nodding as J speaks.
"We'll see about that Drapion use Sludge Bomb!" J calls Drapion fires multiple bombs of sludge at the 3 mons as Misty speaks.
"Quaxwell use Aqua Cutter!" Misty calls Quaxwell begins to dance gracefully and fires 2 water blades from its legs that connect with the Sludge Bombs creating an explosion. Out of the smoke appears Grimmsnarl it's running towards the 3 mons as J speaks.
"Grimmsnarl use Hammer Arm!" "Carracosta counter with Waterfall!" J and Misty call Grimmsnarl covers its arms in white energy while Carracosta covers its body in water shoots forward and collides with Grimmsnarl. Grimmsnarl tries to knock Carracosta away, but the mon isn't moving an inch as it manages to knock Grimmsnarl away Misty speaks.
"Now Drizzile use Hydro Pump!" Misty calls before J can call for a command Drizzile fires a big Hydro Pump that consumes Grimmsnarl and makes it crash into Drapion causing both mons to fall on the ground groaning in pain. J has a surprised look on her face then looks at Misty and speaks.
"Don't think you've won just because your Pokemon evolved and landed some lucky hits" J says as Drapion and Grimmsnarl stand back up ready to continue Misty speaks.
"Yeah, I know the real battle starts now" Misty says while having a determined look on her face. There's now silence in the air Misty, J, and their Pokemon stare at each other for a few seconds as J speaks.
"Attack!" J calls as Drapion and Grimmsnarl charge forward Misty speaks.
"Let's Go!" Misty says as Drizzile, Quaxwell, and Carracosta charge forward and clash with the 2-mons continuing their battle. We now cut over to Gengar after searching through multiple rooms Gengar finds one more room that it hasn't checked yet. Once Gengar enters it sees multiple statue Pokémon in cases, Gengar has a shocked look on its face and wants to save all of them but rescuing Milotic, Gyarados, and Riolu comes first. Gengar floats inside the room for a couple minutes then manages to find the 3 mons as they're all standing next to each other. Gengar smiles then goes to set them free, as Gengar's about to do that it doesn't know how. As Gengar's trying to think of a way it sees something on the cases that goes either up or down, Gengar gets curious and thinks that if you push up the Pokémon stays in stone but if you pull down it should free them. Gengar decides to give it a try, he floats over to Riolu's pushes the thing down and Riolu's not stone anymore. Riolu looks at Gengar and speaks.
"Rio, rio!" Riolu says happily telling Gengar thank you as the ghost tells Riolu that he's happy that it worked. After that Gengar releases Milotic and Gyarados, the 2 mons tell Gengar thank you with the mon nodding. Gyarados asks Milotic if it's okay with the mon saying it is making Gyarados happy, Gyarados then asks Riolu to tell Ash their location with the aura mon nodding. Riolu closes her eyes and begins to concentrate. Riolu sends out an aura signal that reaches Ash, Leaf, Tracey and their Pokémon as Tracey speaks.
"What was that?" Tracey asks while having a surprised look on his face as Ash speaks.
"It was Riolu's aura signal" Ash says as Leaf speaks.
"But wasn't Riolu turned into stone?" Leaf asks as Ash speaks.
"She was but it seems like she was sent free and is telling us her location. Come on they're this way" Ash says with Leaf and Tracey nodding as they along with their Pokémon begin to follow Ash. Back on the ship Riolu tells Gengar and Gyarados that she managed to send out an aura signal to Ash, Leaf, and Tracey. The 2-mons nod Gyarados suggests that they should find Misty and leave before more grunts appear, Milotic along with Riolu agree as they're about to leave Gengar speaks.
"Gen, gen" Gengar tells them that they can't leave these other Pokémon behind and have to save them. Gyarados thinks for a bit then nods in agreement with Riolu and Milotic agreeing too. Gyarados tells Gengar that they need to hurry with the mon nodding. The 4 of them then begin to release multiple Pokémon from their stone cases, as they're doing that suddenly 2 grunts walk in the room and have surprised looks on their faces as one of them speaks.
"Hey what's going on here how did all of you un petrify yourselves?!" One of the grunts say as the other speaks.
"I'll turn on the alarm!" The other grunt says as he turns on the alarm alerting everyone on the ship. The grunts pull out their Pokeball's as they're about to throw them Gyarados fires a big Hyper Beam that blows not only the 2 grunts away but also destroys a hallway. Gyarados tells Riolu, Milotic and some of the other Pokémon to quickly get on its back with the mons nodding. Gengar then uses Psychic to grab the other Pokémon making them float, Gengar feels bad that they can't save the others, but Gyarados tells him that they need to hurry with Gengar nodding. Riolu tells Gyarados that Misty's on the top floor battling Hunter J, the sea serpent nods glows blue then shoots upward with Gengar following it. Gyarados is easily going through multiple ceilings surprising the grunts with Gengar closely behind. Meanwhile back to where Misty and Hunter J are they hear the alarm as J looks at her grunts and speaks.
"What's going on?!" J asks as one of the grunts speak.
"It looks like some of the Pokémon that were turned to stone have unpetrified themselves!" The grunts says as J speaks.
"What?!" J says in surprise as Misty speaks.
"Nice Gengar did it" Misty says to herself she then feels the floor beneath her shaking. Misty pulls out 3 Pokeball's and speaks.
"Drizzile, Quaxwell, Carracosta return!" Misty says with the 3-mons nodding as they go back to their Pokeball's J looks at Misty and speaks.
"You're giving up?" J asks as Misty speaks.
"No, it's just that my ride is here" Misty responds making J confused. A couple seconds later she along with her grunts feel the floor shaking. As the floor continues to shake Gyarados bursts from the ground and lets out a mighty roar. J along with her Grimmsnarl, Drapion, and grunts all have surprised looks on their faces as Misty speaks.
"Gyarados!" Misty says happily Misty then sees Milotic, Riolu, and Gengar who's holding a lot of Pokemon with Psychic and Gyarados has a lot of Pokemon riding on its back Misty then speaks.
"Great job Gengar!" Misty says happily with Gengar nodding as J speaks.
"Grimmsnarl, Drapion attack!" J calls when the 2 mons are about to attack Gyarados fires a big Hyper Beam that blows a lot of the grunts away and consumes the 2-mons sending them down multiple floors. When the Hyper Beam disappears Grimmsnarl and Drapion are on the bottom floor and are laying on their backs knocked out. J has an angry look on her face she then points her arm cannon at Gyarados, as she's about to fire it Riolu speaks.
"Rio!" Riolu yells as she quickly fires an Aura Sphere which destroys J's arm cannon and sends the woman crashing into the wall. J groans in pain as Misty speaks.
"Great job guys now let's get out of here!" Misty says with the mons nodding Gyarados flies over to Misty and Misty gets on Gyarados's back. Gyarados flies towards a window and fires a Hyper Beam destroying the window and creating an exit. Gyarados along with Gengar fly out of the window and begin flying away from the ship. Back in the ship J stands back up she has an angry look on her face looks at her men and speaks.
"What are you fools doing?! Don't let them escape!" J says with her grunts nodding as they all send out multiple Golbat that go after Gyarados and Gengar. J throws 2 Pokeball's forward sending out her Salamence and Magnezone. The 2 mons join the Golbats and go after Gyarados and Gengar as Misty speaks.
"They're gaining on us!" Misty says as the Golbat's are getting closer everyone hears a voice.
"Pikachu Thunder and Froakie Bubble beam!" "Boltund use Thunder and Venusaur Solorbeam!" The voices say as out of nowhere 2 Thunders along with a Bubble beam and Solorbeam hit the Golbat's. The bats all cry out in pain and are knocked out. Misty looks to see who fired the attacks gets a smile on her face and speaks.
"Ash, Leaf, Tracey!" Misty says happily as the 3 trainers look at her riding on Gyarados and smile. Back on the ship J's getting more annoyed as she calls for her commands.
"Magnezone use Thunder and Salamence Hyper Beam!" J calls when the 2 mons go to fire their moves Ash and Leaf speak.
"Talonflame use Fire Blast!" "Charizard Dragon Claw!" Both trainers call suddenly a blast of fire appears and hits Magnezone consuming it in fire. Charizard appears on Salamence's left side covers its right claws in green dragon energy and jabs Salamence making the dragon groan in pain. Salamence then sees Charizard filling its mouth with purple draconic energy as Ash speaks.
"Now Charizard use Dragon Pulse!" Ash calls before J can tell Salamence to dodge Charizard fires the big dragon beam that consumes Salamence and sends the dragon crashing on the ground creating an explosion. When the explosion clears everyone can see Salamence laying on its back groaning in pain as Charizard blows smoke out of its nose happy that it got its revenge. J is currently fuming in anger as she's about to call for her next command one of the grunts speaks.
"Madam J the airship has suffered a lot of injuries if we continue to fight the ship won't work anymore" The grunt says. J doesn't want to go yet as she wants to teach the group a lesson but then recomposes herself, she looks at the grunt and speaks.
"We're retreating" J says with the grunt nodding as he along with some other grunts begin to turn the ship around. J returns her Salamence and Magnezone to their Pokeball's while the grunts return their Golbat's. As the ship goes to leave J looks at the group one more time with the group staring back, a few seconds later J turns away from the group as the ship turns completely invisible and disappears into the sky. Once that's over Gyarados along with Gengar safely land back on the ground, Gyarados allows Misty along with the Pokémon it carried on its back off, and Gengar stops using Psychic on the Pokémon. Once that's over Ash, Leaf, Tracey and their Pokémon begin running over to them as they speak.
"Misty!" The 3 kids say as Misty looks at them smiles and speaks.
"Hey guys!" Misty says happily as Leaf then sprints over at full speed and wraps Misty in a big hug then speaks.
"We were worried for you and happy that you're okay!" Leaf says as Misty speaks.
"Yeah, I was worried too and thank you" Misty says with Leaf nodding as she lets go of Misty she holds Togepi in front of her then speaks.
"But Togepi was also extremely worried" Leaf says as Togepi immediately jumps out of Leaf's arms and into Misty's. Togepi begins to cry tears of joy as Misty speaks.
"I'm sorry that I scared you Togepi and I'm happy that you're okay" Misty says with the egg nodding. Vaporeon along with Golisopod, Arctovish and Tracey walk over to Misty too and are happy that she's okay with Misty saying thank you. Meanwhile Ash runs over to Gyarados, Gengar, and Riolu then speaks.
"You're back!" Ash says happily as he hugs the 3 mons with them returning it. Froakie walks over to Riolu and hugs it with Riolu doing the same. Charizard and Pikachu go over to Gyarados and Gengar and are happy that they're okay too making the 2-mons smile. After that Ash then walks over to Misty once he gets close enough Misty looks at him and speaks.
"Is something wrong Ash?" Misty asks as Ash doesn't say anything and just hugs her. Misty has a surprised look on her face as Ash speaks.
"I thought I lost not just my Pokémon but you too" Ash says making Misty smile as she speaks.
"Well now you know how I feel whenever you do reckless things" Misty says jokingly as Ash immediately lets go and speaks.
"Hey, I haven't done that many crazy things" Ash says as Misty smiles and speaks.
"Oh, really now because I can name 5" Misty says as she begins to name the 5 making Ash annoyed. Off to the side Leaf and Tracey look at them as Leaf speaks.
"Looks like everything's back to normal" Leaf says with Tracey nodding as he then looks at the other Pokémon and speaks.
"You know we should really take these Pokémon to the Pokémon Center so that they can get some treatment" Tracey says with the group nodding as they begin heading for the Pokémon Center. 10 minutes later the group have made it to the center, Nurse Joy tells the group that they'll make sure to heal the Pokémon that J captured and send them back to their trainers and the wild ones back to the wild making the group happy. Nurse Joy then asks the group if they want their Pokémon healed too with the 4 trainers nodding as they hand her their Pokeball's. As the group's waiting for their Pokémon to be healed Misty walks over to a video phone and dials a number. The phone rings 3 times until Lilly appears on the screen Lilly looks at Misty and speaks.
"Oh, Misty I wasn't expecting a call from you today, Violet, Daisy look it's Misty!" Lilly says as the 2 girls appear on the screen too and say hello to Misty with her saying hi back. Violet then takes a closer look at Misty and speaks.
"Misty is something wrong? it feels like you want to tell us something" Violet asks with Misty nodding as she speaks.
"Yeah, you see" Misty says and begins to tell her sisters about her encounter with Hunter J. Misty also tells her sisters that J was the one responsible that got their parents killed which shocks the 3 girls as Misty speaks.
"I'm sorry I let J get away if I was strong enough, I could've defeated her" Misty says with tears in her eyes. Misty's sisters look at her they then smile as Violet speaks.
"Misty it's fine" Violet says as Misty speaks.
"It is? You mean that you're not mad that I let J get away?" Misty asks as Daisy speaks.
"Well like we are mad that she's the one that got our parents killed but you don't need to feel responsible" Daisy says as Misty then looks at Lilly and speaks.
"What about you Lilly? Out of all of us you were the closes to our parents" Misty asks as Lilly thinks for a bit then speaks.
"I'll admit I'm angry that she's the one that got our parents killed and honestly I wish I'd switched places with you so that I could teach J a lesson myself" Lilly says with Misty nodding as Lilly continues to speak.
"But I also know that our parents wouldn't want us to seek out vengeance as they would mostly want us to live our lives to the fullest" Lilly says while having a smile on her face as Daisy speaks.
"Like yeah Lilly's right Misty don't let this keep you down" Daisy says as Violet speaks.
"Your goal is to become a Water Pokémon Master, right? Well, you should focus on that as that's what mom and dad would want for you to do" Violet says while smiling. Misty looks at her sisters and smiles too then speaks.
"You're right thank you" Misty says with the 3 girls nodding as Daisy then gets a smug look on her face then speaks.
"You know now that I think about it when you escaped from the air ship, I bet that a certain boy was happy for your safety right?" Daisy asks making Misty blush as Lilly speaks.
"Look Daisy you're totally right she's blushing" Lilly says while smirking making Misty annoyed as Violet speaks.
"Now, now Daisy and Lilly don't tease Misty she had a very exhausting day" Violet says with the 2 girls nodding making Misty happy as Violet speaks.
"But Misty tell me this did Ash hug you?" Violet asks making Misty blush even more making her sisters snicker as Misty then immediately ends the video call and speaks.
"Ah they're so annoying" Misty says in frustration but then smiles and speaks.
"But even with that they're still great sisters" Misty says with Togepi agreeing as they then hear Ash's voice.
"Hey Misty, our Pokémon are done healing!" Ash says with Misty nodding as she begins walking over to everyone else. After that the group get their Pokeball's back and tell Nurse Joy thank you. They then arrive to the beach that they were at earlier as Misty brings out Drizzile, Quaxwell, and Carracosta then speaks.
"Look they evolved" Misty says as the 3 mons say hello Ash and Leaf get stars in their eyes as they speak.
"So, cool! Congrats on evolving!" The 2 trainers say making the 3-mons happy. Meanwhile off to the side Ash's Gyarados and Milotic are talking to each other. Gyarados ask Milotic if it'll be okay by itself with the mon nodding saying that even though it wished to stay with Gyarados longer she's happy that she got to see him again. Gyarados then tells Milotic that she can spend more time with him then points over to Misty. Gyarados tells Milotic that Misty's a great water type trainer and can also help Milotic get stronger. Milotic looks at Misty she remembers that she was the one who took care of her when she first arrived on the beach and can feel Misty's love for water types. Milotic then goes over to Misty, when Milotic gets close enough Misty looks at Milotic and speaks.
"Is something wrong Milotic?" Misty asks as the mon begins to gently rub its face on Misty's making the girl laugh as she speaks.
"Milotic stop that tickles" Misty says as Ash speaks.
"It looks like Milotic's saying that it wants to go with you" Ash says surprising Misty as she looks at the mon and speaks.
"Is that true Milotic?" Misty asks with the mon nodding making Misty smile as she pulls out a Pokeball and speaks.
"Thank you and I promise to take great care of you" Misty says with the mon nodding as Misty taps the ball on Milotic's head. The ball doesn't shake once as it's an instant capture Misty gets a big smile on her face then speaks.
"I just caught a Milotic!" Misty cheers along with Drizzile, Quaxwell, and Carracosta. Milotic's Pokeball then disappears as it goes to the Cerulean Gym as Leaf speaks.
"Ah man I want to catch a Milotic too" Leaf says while pouting as Tracey speaks.
"I'm sure you'll get a chance to capture your own one day" Tracey says with Leaf nodding as Ash speaks.
"Congrats Misty" Ash says with Misty nodding as she speaks.
"Thanks, and I'll be right back I just need to make a transfer" Misty says with the group nodding as they see her run to the Pokémon Center. A few minutes later Misty returns as she sent Arctovish back to the gym and got Milotic's Pokeball. Misty throws the ball forward sending Milotic out and speaks.
"Milotic from now on let's work together" Misty says with the mon nodding as Ash speaks.
"Alright it's time we set out" Ash says with the group nodding as Ash brings out Lapras. Ash and Tracey get on Lapras's back while Misty and Leaf get on Milotic's. Lapras and Milotic begin to swim forward with Drizzile, Quaxwell, Carracosta and Gyarados swimming next to them as Leaf speaks.
"I never would've dreamed to ride on a Milotic's back" Leaf says as Misty speaks.
"I've a few times so it's a dream come true to me" Misty says with Leaf nodding as they all continue to swim Ash thinks about Hunter J and speaks.
"Hunter J she was strong" Ash says as Tracey speaks.
"I agree I heard rumors and stories about her before but actually facing her was pretty intimidating" Tracey says with the group nodding as Ash speaks.
"Yeah, but the next time we see her we'll be ready, and I'll never forgive her for stealing not just my Pokémon but other peoples too" Ash says with the group nodding agreeing with his feelings as they all continue to swim into the horizon. Meanwhile back with Hunter J she's looking at the destroyed parts in her airship then speaks.
"How long will it take for repairs?" J asks as one of the grunts speaks.
"It should take 1 week madam" The grunt says with J nodding as she continues to speak.
"What about the Pokémon we stole do we still have enough?" J asks as one of the grunts speaks.
"Even though we lost 20% of our supply we still have enough for the client" The grunt says with J nodding as she then sits down and begins to think.
"Dan and Lola's daughter got in my way just like her parents did" J says to herself then gets a serious look on her face and continues.
"But the next time I see her I'll crush not just her but her friends too" J says to herself in anger she continues to look forward as the chapter comes to an end.
Thank you for reading if you've made it this far. The gang finally encountered Hunter J tell me how did you guys like it? I tried to capture just how much of a threat J is in my story just like how she is in the main anime, and I feel like I succeeded. What are your thoughts on Sobble's, Quaxly's, and Tirtouga's evolving in this chapter? I felt that it was time that for them to evolve and thought that this spot in the story would be perfect.
Were you guys expecting that J has a connection to Misty's family and that she was the one that got Misty's parents killed? Seeing as Ash has a few rivals in the story I wanted to give Misty an antagonistic rival too being J. Are you guys happy that I gave Misty Milotic? You'd think that since Gyarados and Milotic have a connection together that Ash would catch it instead, but I gave Milotic to Misty as I feel like it fits her more than Ash and Misty was also the first one to help Milotic too.
Next chapter will come out in 2 weeks it'll focus on the gang reaching Pinkan Island and encounter another enemy as well I hope you all look forward to it.
