Later that night, Logan found Rory sitting on his kitchen island in her bra and panties eating ice cream out of the pint. They stopped by his current apartment after seeing the new place, had dinner, some sex and fell asleep. She woke up later and decided she was hungry. He wore his boxer briefs and went right up to her. He stood between her knees and she asked, "Bite?" as she held out the spoon.

He opened his mouth and Rory fed him a large bite of strawberry ice cream. After he ate it, he asked "Is the marble not cold on your skin?"

She shook her head no and shoveled in another bite of ice cream. "More?" she asked.

"Sure," he said. After accepting another bite of ice cream, he leaned in and kissed her. They both tasted of strawberry ice cream and had freezing cold lips. "Thank you," he whispered.

She giggled and said, "No need to thank me. Its your ice cream."

He shook his head, "No... for this. For spending time with me - for giving me another chance."

Rory had another small bite of ice cream and said, "Thank YOU for giving ME another chance. I never dreamed we would be like this again."

"Ace, I have to admit, I'm still struggling with something," he said quietly.

She set the ice cream on the counter next to her and she put her hands on his shoulders and said, "What's on your mind?"

"Why couldn't we have talked more the last time? We didn't have to be apart for 4 years."

She nodded, "I know. If we're really doing this, we need to figure out how to talk to each other, even about the hard stuff."

"Ace, do you want to go to couples therapy?" he asked.

Her eyebrows shot up. "You would do that?"

He nodded, "I would. Whatever it takes."

She smiled and pulled him close. "Do you have any idea how much I've missed you?"

"Yep. I definitely do. By the way, your hands are SO cold!"

"Well, I was just holding FROZEN ice cream." She giggled.

"Ready to go back to bed?" he asked her.

"I think I need some water first - nothing is better than water with ice cream - I have no idea why," she shrugged.

He walked across the kitchen and retrieved a glass from a cabinet and filled it from the dispenser on the front of the fridge. He returned to her and handed it to her silently.

"Thank you," she said and accepted the glass. She swallowed half of the glass in a few gulps and set the glass down next to her on the counter.

He took her hand so that she could jump down from the counter. She returned the ice cream to the counter and had a few more sips of water while she placed the spoon in the dishwasher.

She found Logan laying back on the pillows under the blankets. "Come here," he said he lifted the blankets and pulled her close. She snuggled into his side and placed her head on his shoulder. "Ahhh, right where you're supposed to be," he said before his kissed her on the temple.

"Is this weird? This is the 3rd night we're together in a row. Should we be spending so much time together?" she asked him.

He shrugged, "I don't know. But it feels right... Is it completely crazy that I want us to live together again? And I don't want to wait. Waiting is for people who don't know each other. We already know each other."

"Wow. Really?" she asked.

"Yeah," he said. "Does that freak you out?"

She winced and said, "Well, THAT doesn't freak me out. I really liked living with you in the past. But..."

"What?" he prodded.

"Logan... when you just left last time and I never saw you again... I was just destroyed... for a LONG time." Logan lay there holding his breath, waiting for her to finish. "I don't think I could take it if it happened again."

"Ace, you weren't the only one who was hurt. Our relationship was the only thing in my life that I was sure of. And then I found out that you didn't want the same thing that I did. I was just completely destroyed." He took a long, deep breath and continued, "But I love you and want you more than I'm afraid to try with you again."

Rory turned to face him, "You really mean that, don't you?"

Logan sighed and said, "Yeah, I do. Rory, do you trust me?"

She pursed her lips and took a couple seconds, "I really do. I always did." She stretched her neck a little to kiss him. "Can I ask about what you were up to over the past 4 years?"

He shrugged, "Sure, you can ask. What do you want to know?"

"Was there anyone special? Anyone you fell in love with?"

He hedged a little and finally said, "For a little while, I thought there might be but no. She was great, but I wasn't ready." Rory nodded. "What about you? Other than the doctor?"

She made a face and said, "Well, I dated someone for about a year. And then there was Stewart. There were a few casual things, but... you know."

"Is all of that over and done with?" he asked.

She nodded, "Absolutely. What about you?"

"Definitely." He kissed the top of her head again. "This is where I want to be - like this, with you. Just you."

Rory snuggled into him even further and kissed the closest patch of skin to her face which was his chest. "Me too." She hugged him tightly with both arms. "So, we're moving in together again? Is it too soon?"

"I don't think it is. Its up to us. If we don't think its too soon, it isn't too soon. We can do whatever we want. And I want to live with you again," he said definitely.

She nodded, "I think I want to live with you again too." She tilted her head to look him in the eyes.

"Okay, well... I just got the keys to my new place. Do you like it enough to live there or do you want a different place? Or even your apartment? Whatever you want," he said.

Rory grinned at him. "Let's move to your new crystal palace. But can we talk to the decorator where we both pick out stuff so it feels like both of our home?"

He kissed her hard and said, "Absolutely." Then he chuckled and asked, "Crystal palace?"

She giggled, "Isn't it?"

"It IS a lot of glass, I'll give you that."
