Hi! I'm sorry for being gone for so long. Honestly, life just got me busy so I apologize. This is a short chapter but I am trying to get back in to the gear of writing. Thank you so much for reading!

The icy winds of Drum Island howled through the barren trees, carrying whispers of the coming storm. Amidst this frozen landscape, Frisk stood alone, her gaze fixed on the eternal log pose clasped tightly in her hand. Its needle, unwavering, pointed towards her destiny-Marineford.
"Luffy" - whispered Frisk
Memories of Luffy echoed in her mind, fueling her resolve. She knew what she had to do.
Closing her eyes, Frisk took a deep breath, allowing the cold air to fill her lungs and sharpen her focus. The concept of space and time, so rigid and unyielding. She needed to call upon the power Sans gave her. Concentrating deeply, Frisk visualized Marineford in her mind's eye- the tumultuous sea crashing against its walls, the flurry of activity of Marines preparing for the execution, and the sense of urgency that prevaded the air. Her heart synchronized with the rhythm of her intentions, beating a steady cadence of determination. As her focus reached its zenith, the space before Frisk shimmered, the air twisting and folding upon itself. A rift formed, a tear in the very fabric of reality, bordered by an ethereal glow. It expanded slowly, revealing Marineford, a formidable fortress and the vast ocean that surrounded it, lay just beyond this portal. The shortcut was now gone from Frisk's inventory. Creating a shortcut through space-time was not something that could be done multiple times.
"Thank you Sans…" Whispered Frisk
Frisk stood at the edge of the rift, the swirling portal to Marineford humming softly in the cold air. Beside her, the translucent figure of Chara materialized, their expression somber in the ghostly light.
"Frisk," Chara began, their voice a gentle echo on the wind, "You know that once you step through, there's no going back. I know that your power to Reset, to Save, to Load… it's not within your grasp anymore. This isn't like before. If you go there, you might… You might not come back."
Frisk turned to face Chara, her eyes resolute. The eternal log pose in her hand seemed to glow faintly, reflecting her unwavering will. "I know, Chara. I know the risks," she said, her voice steady and full of determination. Frisk made a wide smile. "Isn't that the kind of fight we always had? Facing impossible odds, making the impossible possible. That's what I learned joining the Strawhats. You're right. I don't have the ability to SAVE anymore. But… Maybe, with what little power I have… I can SAVE something else."
Chara widened her eyes and looked into Frisk. She saw only the same unbreakable will that had carried them through countless challenges before. With a sigh, Chara's features softened, a smile appearing on their face.
"I should've known better than to try and talk you out of it," Chara admitted, their tone carrying a mix of resignation and admiration. The two stepped closer, a silent understanding passing between them. Then, in a gesture transcending their physical differences, Frisk wrapped her arms around Chara in a warm, embracing hug. A manifestation of their bond that spoke volumes of their shared resolve, companionship, and the silent promise to fae whatever lay ahead, together. No matter the odds, they were in this together. "Thank you, Chara… for being with me, no matter what. Your presence… gave me strength no matter what happened."
Chara's voice, tinged with a playful sass, echoed back, "Hey, you are dragging me into another one of your adventures, it's been fun. Just promise me it'll be worth the trouble, huh?"
"... Your determination… It's what brought us together, what changed everything. Go Frisk. Show them what determination can do."
Turning back to the rift, Frisk took a deep breath, filled with the resolve that had seen her through darkness and light alike. With a final glance at the snow landscape of Drum Island and the castle, she stepped forward into the portal, her heart shimmering with the flames of determination and the unshakeable belief in the power of friendship and perseverance.
The rift closed silently behind her, marking the beginning of a new chapter in her adventure, one without the safety net of RESET but with the promise of making a real difference.
