Menagerie
The place where any faunus can call home. Not necessarily off limits for humans, but you'll rarely see one come to the island without getting a skeptical look. Especially since some factions of the White Fang are located in the area. Even some names are iffy about coming to the island due to the notoriety their names carry.
One of which being the name Church... that name belonged to the human man who married a faunus woman. While their relationship was seen as an abomination by the humans, the faunus couldn't see why this successful man loved this faunus woman. Some extreme human haters obviously didn't approve of their relationship and threatened their halfblood offspring.
So why was the son of the renowned businessman and the famous outlaw walking through the streets like nothing. Because he had some unfinished business, and from he heard this was the best place he might have a chance to resolve it. Especially since he heard rumors of White Fang activity in the area.
However, Simmons who wasn't technically human but wasn't a faunus did mean he'd have to be extra careful, "So I take it, you've been here before?"
"You could say that." Church answered.
"How long has it been?"
"7... maybe 8 years."
"What do you remember? I remember being part of a crew who did a job of heists all along the middle seas that divided the Mistral and Haven continents." Church admitted as he tilted his hat down.
Simmons took a moment to connect the dots, "That was the Sea Raids That Crippled Atlas's Navy."
"Hey, you asked." Church said as they started to pass the largest home in Menagerie.
As they were passing they began to notice several eyes follow him down the street, at first nothing too concerning for him. Soon those eyes turn to footsteps of several of Menagerie's police division forces. Without even needing to turn around Church knew they were surrounded at the front steps of the Menagerie Mansion.
Simmons did look behind them to see the plethora of guards armed with a variety of weaponry all looking at the two of by He kept his face covered and looked back down, "This happen often with you?"
"More than I like." Church admitted as he kept looking forward.
From the mansion came heavy footsteps that thunked at the top of the stairs, "Good day to you gentlemen."
"..." Church dropped his duffle bag and had his hat obstruct the view of the people from seeing his full face.
The big man at the top of the steps faced Church with open arms, "Please, let us see your faces."
"Why do you want to see our faces?" Church asked as he kept his hand on his holster.
The man started to walk down the stairs with open arms, "Forgive us, very recently we've had a rally interrupted by a misguided and radical member of the White Fang. We just want to know whether or not you want to start trouble."
"Well you can rest easy then. We come in peace and we are NOT with the White Fang. That good enough for you?"
"Unfortunately we can not simply take your word. Officers, please disarm him." The large man asked the guards.
As the guards crept up on the duo, Church's white fur trimmed and sky blue coat were flipped open to reveal his other big iron on his hip. Looking at both his sides made both the guards back off as he now stared the man in his face.
The large man clenched his fist while bearing his teeth, "You disobey our requests and brandish your weapons."
"Yes sir, only because I've seen how this ended before. It never works out for me, unless my finger is on the trigger." Church growled as the standoff commenced.
The two stared each other down, electric blue eyes from Church meeting the golden eyes from this chief of Menagerie. Both bearing their fangs, claws and arms. While the officers and Simmons swallowed the lump forming in their throats. All waiting for someone to make a move.
"So I assumed things went well?" The familiar voice from a chunky friend halted everyone as Simmons, Church and the chief looked to see the commotion.
When they all looked they saw the familiar sight of a few of their friends, Grif, Sun and Blake as she answered his questions, "Not even close. But that's to be expected, I don't blame anyone."
Church removed his hands and flipped his coat closed covering his guns up as he looked up with his silent sign of peace in his gaze. The chief nodded as he signaled his officers to act natural and calm. Simmons and Church covered their faces by covering the top of their faces how they did before.
As Blake's group passed the two newcomers, it was almost on instinct that Blake knew something was up. She paused as her back was to the Church, who did his best to hide his face from her using only his hat. When she turned she slowly walked towards him to look under his hat.
"Blake, sweety don't-" The old man, who must have been someone important to her tried to stop her.
However he was too late as she looked underneath the sky blue hat with ear holes and saw the face she hadn't seen since Beacon, "Church?"
"Blake... pleasure to see you again. Sun." Church nodded as he was hoping they wouldn't show him affection and ruin his intimidation factor. Wish: denied.
They both hugged him in their small group hug, keeping both his arms pinned to his sides, making him roll his eyes and accept it. Meanwhile Ghira was left confused as to what exactly was happening between them. Forcing him to announce his presence again, "Blake, would you be so kind to explain who this is?"
"Dad! Oh, this is Church, he was on another team that went to Beacon." Blake explained, "He's actually more well-mannered than Sun."
"Tch, you mean more nerd." Sun retorted.
Church removed his hat and bowed down, "Sorry about that, it's just me and the White Fang have some unresolved bad blood between us and I guess you can say it's made me cautious."
"Please, the fault is all mine. As an apology and thank you for befriending Blake would and your companion care for some tea?" Ghira offered.
Church looked back at Simmons who was still hiding his face, "I don't know, Simmons, that work for you?"
"Oh... uh... yes, thank you very much sir." Simmons nodded underneath his cloak.
Grif stepped closer to the covered friend, "Simmons, is that really you?"
"Hey Grif." Simmons greeted with a shy wave.
Grif didn't pry but instead just led his friend through the door. Church shook Ghira's hand as they walked in, "Thank you for your hospitality sir."
"Please think nothing of it." Ghira replied before calling out to his wife, "Kali, could you please prepare more tea. We have some more guests joining us this evening."
"Of course dear, who is it?" Kali asked before gasping at the sight of the White Tiger Faunus who resembled someone from her past she couldn't shake.
[Mistral]
Oscar Pine seen sitting on a red armchair, nervously looking at the members of Team RNJR, EMM, Caboose, Donut and Tucker as they fawn over him.
"Did he age backwards?" Nora asked first.
Jaune the made the accusation, "He's possessed!"
"Or reincarnated!" Ren added.
"Are we really sure it's him." Tucker quizzed cautiously staying further back
Ruby then said what everyone thought, "Oh! Isn't it weird?"
"It is very weird, yes." The young boy, Oscar had admitted.
Qrow emerged from the kitchen holding a cup in his hand, "Okay, okay. Let's all just take a second and remember that this is very overwhelming for everyone."
All take a giant step back together and nervously chuckle while waving to the kid.
Oscar turned to Qrow, "Thanks."
Qrow then takes a seat on the couch next to Oscar. Ruby and Nora have taken a seat on the couch perpendicular to Qrow's, while Jaune and Ren remain standing, with Tucker staying farther away with Emerald who equally skeptical. Melanie and Militia were standing on both sides of Caboose who sat cross legged on the floor across the table from Oscar. Oscar then shares a brief look with Ruby, who giggles, causing the kid to blush.
"Ah, sorry!" Oscar briefly looks away, "It's just I've never really met Huntsmen and Huntresses before."
Ruby smiled back at him, "Well, uh... we've never met a person with two souls! So, first times all around."
Oscar smiles and chuckles at Ruby before he hears Qrow clear his throat, "Not to break up the whole 'getting-to-know-you' game, but we need to have a talk. Mind showing us your little parlor trick, kid?"
Oscar groaned as he was just getting used to normal, "Yeah, okay. Just so you know, I'll still be here."
The members of Team RNJR look at him in confusion. Oscar then lowers his head and closes his eyes. That's when a green and white aura shines from his body for a moment, Oscar opens up his eyes, which are now glowing, and he smiles. When he speaks, they all hear a familiar voice overlapping with a bunch of other voices, including Oscar's, "It is so very good to see you again, students."
All of the teams share brief looks of confusion.
"Wait, what just happened?" Melanie asked
Militia questioned the tiny Professor, "Professor... Ozpin?"
"Correct. And though I may be the one speaking, Oscar is still present mentally. He's merely handed over the control, so to speak." Ozpin answered as Oscar mentally spoke to him, "Just don't make us do anything embarassing..." "I'm afraid this all must be very perplexing."
"Wait what's happening? Where's Ozpin? I hear him... is... is he in Oscar." Caboose wondered.
Tucker shook his head, "There is A LOT wrong with that sentence."
"It's good to see you children still have your sense of humor." Ozpin started to chuckle until he starts to frown, "I know you've all been through tremendous hardship already. I'm sorry."
"I mean, it's not your fault." Ruby tried to comfort her Headmaster.
Ozpin continues to speak, Qrow gets up and goes back to the kitchen to get something, "It's all my fault. I told you once that I made more mistakes than any man, woman, and child on this planet, and I wasn't exaggerating. I'm... cursed. For thousands of years, I've walked the surface of Remnant, living, dying, and reincarnating in the body of a like-minded soul. The Professor Ozpin you all met was not my first form, and clearly wasn't my last. It's... an extraordinarily strenuous process on everyone involved."
"So who... what... are you?" Jaune wanted to know.
Ozpin continues to reply as Qrow walks back into the room and hands him a cup of tea, "I am the combination of countless men who've spent their lives trying to protect the people of Remnant. With every rebirth, my soul is eventually merged with another and I am changed, but my memories stay with me. This curse was bestowed upon me by the Gods, because I failed to stop Chrovos in the past. But we must stop it now."
"And how do we do that?" Tucker snarked.
Ozpin crossed his legs with an answer, "We start... by ensuring the safety of the Relic of Knowledge."
[Menagerie]
Blake felt more at ease as Church sipped his tea with more manners than Sun had on his first time visiting the residence. Simmons felt comfortable enough out of public to uncloak, despite his cyborg appearance and human species being first to set foot on the island, Grif made him feel just like old times. For some strange reason Sister was flirting with Church while he was sipping tea, could be his rugged good looks from or his manners at the table.
Everyone was more at ease, except for Kali, she took an almost cautious approach as if she recognized him from somewhere. When he received more tea from the pot she had her gaze never left him. Until the hot tea began to overflow and catch Church's hands off guard. The hot liquid caused him to flinch and spill most of it onto the table.
"I'm so sorry about that." Church started to dab up the running tea from spilling anywhere else.
A flurry of apologies, understandings and comments began to follow after as the mess made everyone jump at it's unexpected arrival. Kali started to help when she looked Church dead in the face, this time going noticed. "Excuse me ma'am, may I help you?"
"Oh, I'm sorry it's just... you look familiar." Kali admitted.
Ghira was intrigued as well, "Do you know each other?"
"I don't believe so..." Church admitted.
Kali sighed, "Sorry, but no. The person I'm thinking of would be much older. Besides it was over 25 years ago."
"No luck then, I was born only 20 years ago. Hang on a minute..." Church began to rummage through his coat pocket to look for something. That was when he pulled out the picture of his dad, The Director and his mother, Allison, when they were younger then he was. It's a miracle the two men shared the same face, different body types and the obvious appearance of faunus traits could easily tell them apart though, "Is that who you were thinking of."
"Yes, YES! How could you have known?" Kali wondered with wide eyes.
"Well that man, he's my father, and that lady is my mother."
"I remember them like it was yesterday." Kali admitted as she started to dive into a story.
Ghira recalled the first he heard it, and to this day it still haunted his dreams that this not only happened to a faunus. But it happened to his very own wife, "Kali, please you don't have to tell it."
"Mom?" Blake never heard this story before.
Kali sighed as she lifted up part of her dress to show off her right leg, where a giant scar that went around her shin was. Like the skin was chaffed and irritated for a long period of time at a young age. It was then Kali revealed the tale she hid for so long.
[Many Years Ago]
At this age Kali had just barely reached the double digits in her age, still so full of hope and joy. It was here that she would discover some harsh truths about the world that no one should have to know about. For some people still used faunus as lesser being or more accurately, they treated faunus as property. Property that could easily be taken.
Much like Kali was at such a young age, snatched from her home in the middle of the day chained and bound with six other faunus she had never met in her life. One in particular caught her eye, as she stood straighter through the pain of her iron and the harsh conditions.
It's a very pitch black night, with only a few stars in the sky to create a little top light. It's so dark, the Slavers use the creek bed ,somewhere in continent of Anima, to keep from getting lost. Both kidnappers, Spark Brothers carry a lantern up on their horse to guide their way.
It's also a bitterly cold night, with the breath of the seven faunus victims, two kidnappers, and two horses creating clouds in the air. The seven chained together slightly moving in unison, resemble a human locomotive.
The faunus shiver from the cold on their shirtless bare feet, both Speck Brothers wear rawhide winter coats with white fur linings, and white fur collars. One in red the other black.
That was when a sound and a small light appear ahead of them on the road. This makes the kidnapping brothers stop their faunus victims, and ready their rifles for possible trouble.
A Black Horse carrying a rider, dressed in grey,
from the darkness to the light. Illuminated by a glowing lantern that the Rider carries. He appears to be a business type, due to his style of dress. A long grey winter coat, over a grey three piece business suit, and a grey bowler hat on his head.
Ray Spark, who was armed with a spear, aimed his weapon, "Who's that stumblin around in the dark? State your business, or prepare to meet your makers."
"Calm yourselves gentlemen, I mean you no harm. I'm simply a fellow weary traveler." The rider dressed in business grey, pulls his horse to a stop in front of the two men, and the faunus, lifting the lantern up to his face. He speaks with an accent more rich with Atleasian that theirs, "Good, cold evening folks." He first spoke to the faunus, then to the shivering kidnapppers, "Good evening good sirs, I'm looking for a pair of that go by the name of Spark Brothers. Might that be you?"
"Who wants to know?" Ace Spark who carried a big scattergun wondered.
"I do. I'm Dr. Leonard L. Church, and this is my horse, Bruno." Bruno does a little bow with his head, a neat trick the doctor taught. But Doctor? The rider looked no more older than 15 at the time.
Ray Spark couldn't believe his eyes, "You a doctor?"
"Affirmative." The good doctor answered.
Ace Spark wanted to know more, "What kinda doctor looks like a kid?"
"Psychologist. And I understand my appearance would suggest otherwise, but I assure my doctorate is authentic. Now, are you The Spark Brothers, and did you just recently aquire of these faunus from the coastline?"
"So what?"
"So, I wish to negotiate with you men." Dr. Church admitted.
Ace didn't appreciate his way of talking, "Speak English!"
"Oh, I'm sorry. Please forgive me, it's how I was raised. Amongst your inventory, I've been led to believe, is a specimen I'm keen to acquire," He then waved to the Kali and the other Faunus, "Hello you poor devils, is there one among you, who was formerly a resident of Tortuga Islands?"
For a moment none of the people speak for fear of what may happen to them if the kidnappers hear them. Then, in the darkness a voice rings out, "I'm from The Tortuga Islands."
"Who said that." Dr. Leonard stands from his carriage halts his steed so he could walk forward towards the darkness. With lantern in hand he walked next to all of them, observing which one could have said it. As all of them flinched away from the light, Kali including. The only one who didn't flinch soon was illuminated by our hero the good Dr. Church. "What's your name?"
"Allison." The proud Bengal Tiger answered with her long flowing, fiery, orange hair blowing in the cool breeze.
Dr. Church then nodded, "Then you're exactly the one I'm looking for. So tell me Allison during your time there did you come to know three lawmen by the name of The Beatle Brothers?"
Allison nods her head, "Yes. Big Grease, Violo, and little brother Azulo, sometimes called little A. They were deputies at the Islands."
"Not anymore." The Director, "So Allison, do you think you could recognize the brothers if you saw them again?"
"Hey, stop talkin' to her like that!" Ace Spark demanded.
"Like what?" Dr. Church insulted.
"THAT!"
"My good man, I'm simply trying to ascertain-"
"Speak clearly, goddamit!" Ace demanded.
The good Doctor knew this scenario wasn't looking good, "Everybody calm down! I'm simply a customer trying to conduct a transaction."
"I don't care, no sale. Now off wit ya!"
"Don't be ridiculous, of course they're for sale."
Ace raises his rifle towards the young Doctor, "Move it!"
"My good man, did you simply get carried away with your dramatic gesture, or are you pointing that weapon at me with lethal intention...?" Dr. Church asked.
Ace cocked the hammer on his gun, "Last chance, fancy pants."
"Very well..." The doctor, throws his lantern to the ground, enveloping him in darkness. That night the people saw three flashes, the first was the good doctor's pistol out of his holster that shined like it was magic. The next flash was a point blank shot into Ace Spark's face, blowing the dumb brother off his horse, dead in the dirt. The last came as Ray tried to aim his spear while moving his horse in the Doctor's direction. Dr. Leonard Church shot his horse in the head, as the steed goes down taking Ray with him. When the dead weight horse lands on Ray's slightly twisted leg, all heard very clear cracking sounds. Ray let out a shrilled scream.
The Faunus stare in awe, as they've never seen a human kill another human so casually before. Ray is pinned down under his ole paint. Everyone watches in the dark, as the Doctor picked up Ace's discarded lantern, and walked over to the remaining Spark.
"Sorry about putting a bullet in your beast. But I didn't want you to do anything rash before you had a moment to come to your senses." Dr. Church lit the lantern, illuminating himself, as he stands over Ray's body.
Ray had nothing but disgust in his eye, "You goddamn son of a bitch. You killed my brother. you killed Ace!"
"I only shot your brother, once he threatened to shoot me. And I do believe I have⦠one, two, three, four, five, six, seven witnesses who can attest to that fact." Dr. Church defended his case.
"Damn legs busted!" Ray cried out.
Dr. Leonard Church nodded at the statement, "Yeah, no doubt. Now, if you can keep your caterwauling down to a minimum, I'd like to finish my line of inquiry with young miss Allison." Unfortunately the screams kept coming, "As I was saying, if you were to see the Beatle Brothers again, would you recognize them?"
"Yes, I can point 'em out." The Tiger Faunus admitted with such a fury in her eyes no one had ever seen before.
Dr. Leonard Church smiled and nodded, before turning away, "Sold to the Atleasian! So Mr. Spark, how much for Miss Allison." After removing the ankle chain the young Doctor removes his long billfold from his pocket. While he takes out his desired amount to pay he also addresses his Allison, "There you go ma'am, go ahead and stretch out. Also, if I was you, I'd take that winter coat the dear departed Spark left us." The young Church Senior started to count the money as he handed the rifle he had commandeered to the nearest Faunus.
That's when Allison walked over and removed the cloak that covered her body. Despite the cool crisp air she remained unfazed as her skin started to react as small bumps began to form as she walked to the dead brother to retrieve the coat. Her body only covered in a blacks rags used as a skirt, and black bindings that covered her chest. Her back was exposed to The Director making awe at her scars and blush that a woman would be so bold. Forcing him to turn.
"FREAK! Don't you touch my brother." The last brother shouted, earning her attention. A mistake as she walked over to him and stared him down. Before slamming her foot on the horses carcass making poor Ray cry in pain.
Dr. Church finally returns to the brother on the ground, tossing the money on the ground, "Mr. Spark, I am afraid I will require a receipt. Do you have one on hand?"
"Go to hell, Bastard!" Ray grunted through the pain.
The soon to be Director rolled his eyes removing a notebook from his pocket, "I thought not. No worries, I come prepared. This will serve nicely as a bill of sale.".
While Allison changes into the warmer coat The Director finishes the receipt to make sure their transaction is final and clear, "Mr. Spark, I would like to say it was a pleasure doing business with you, but your customer service leaves a lot to be desired."
The good doctor climbs back up on his carriage and begins to move away, before he leaves he looks to the several faunus still chained up, "Now as to you poor devils, the way I see it, when it comes to the subject of what to do next, you gentlemen and ladies have two choices. One, once I'm gone, you lift that beast off the remaining Spark, then carry him to the destination you were going to. Which could be several miles ahead of you. Or... Two, you unshackle yourselves, take that rifle over there. . .put a bullet in his head, bury the two of them deep, and make your way to a more enlightened area of the world. The choice is yours." He's just about ready to ride off, when the good doctor adds, "Oh, and on the off chance that there's any astronomy aficionados amongst you, the South Star is THAT ONE. Farewell."
[Present Day]
Kali recalls those details in her head so vividly, from the gun that shined with no moonlight in sight. To the power that Tiger faunus emanated from her stance alone. Even the details that came next when they shot the last brother and fled back to Menagerie. That was a lifetime ago but it was still fresh in Kali's mind to this day.
Everyone stared in awe at that story, Ghira embraced her to comfort her while everyone couldn't believe how sick that story was. How despicable someone could be, to kidnap faunus kids to sell them for profit. But they did see one human that wasn't a total piece of shit.
"Your father didn't look at us as if we were animals. He didn't see monsters, freaks, animals or faunus. The way he talked, the kindness in his eyes... that was the face of a good man." Kali recalled.
Church teared up as he never heard the true story of what had happened to them. He was told his Mom saved him, now it just didn't add up at this time. Who rescued who?
"I'm sorry... No wonder people want to stay here when stuff like that happened to them." Sun realized.
Ghira got up and knelt down in front of Church, "I know this might not be enough, but please... thank your father for freeing my wife. Without him, I wouldn't have my family."
"As long as they're people out there to do what's right, they'll be others to stand with them. You will always have me and my guns." Church admitted, "Whatever's going down. I want in."
"We're gonna overthrow The White Fang." Sun announced.
Church realized it was too late to turn back as he felt it would be too soon to go up against Adam, "Well shit."
[Back In Mistral]
"Well shit. This is perfect! We were stuck at a dead end, but now, we can just take the kid version of Ozpin to Lionheart and have him set things straight!" Tucker sarcastically discussed.
Ozpin looked up at Tucker, "Please don't call me that."
"We're not sure that's the best idea. So we're not doing that yet." Qrow pointed out.
Tucker backs away as he raised his hands and leans against the wall, still having some beef with Oz for his own reasons. Nora pouts and groans and goes back to sit down next to Ruby and Ren. As Ren had a question burning in the back of his head, "But I thought the Headmasters all took their orders from you."
"That was the intention. Four lieutenants I can trust, especially during times of reincarnation. But Qrow told me about your meeting with Leonardo." Ozpin gets up and walks towards a painting of Mistral, "He isn't just behaving irrationally, he's disobeying specific instructions I had left him. Something's wrong. I don't want to jump to conclusions, but I don't want to rule out any possibilities, either. No one outside of this room knows that I've paired with Oscar, and I think it may be best to keep it that way."
"Play things close to the chest until we get a better hand." Qrow added.
"Precisely. Now, we have two steps ahead of us." Ozpin turned back around to fcae the group, "The first is enlisting the aid of more Huntsmen."
Caboose then had an outloud idea, "Wouldn't it be better if we let people know Oz is back. So we could find out who we should worry about?"
Everyone paused to look at Caboose, Emerald was always his fan but that was genuinely a good idea, "Ya know that might work."
"Spread a rumor of Oz's return then see if we can spot the reason Lionheart acting funny." Tucker agreed.
Qrow jumped up, "Alright that actually sounds good, you kid's know how to spread a controlled rumor."
"I lived on the streets most of my life, I think I can manage." Emerald replied.
Tucker stood next to her, "Yeah and I'm the one who started the rumor Salem walks around in her see through nightgown at night."
"Good I suggest you get star- That was you!" Qrow was shocked to discover where that lie came from.
Jaune shook his best friend by the neck, "I stayed up all night that day I heard that man.
"That is my wife, I hope you are well aware of that." Ozpin announced as he was still in the room, "While that plan goes into effect I hope one of you can tail Lionheart."
"Leave that to me, I'll be all over his tail." Donut nodded.
Ozpin ignored the unintentional innuendo and continued listing the next steps, "We should also gather whatever local huntsmen we can gather."
"But the Mistral council-" Ren began to retort.
Qrow interrupted the young ninja, "Doesn't own every Huntsman in the Kingdom, and I've been here enough times to know where we can find some more."
"So long as they're trustworthy." Ozpin added.
"You can trust them to put up a good fight. I'll throw together a list tonight." Qrow puts his foot on the table, but his Semblance causes one of the legs to break and spill his cup of tea.
Caboose smiled and nodded to Qrow, "Good luck!"
Qrow groans as he cleans up his mess.
"After that, we can move on to step two." Ozpin announced.
Nora questioned him next, "What's step two?"
Suddenly, Ozpin has The Long Memory in his hand, "Getting you all into fighting shape."
The group once again exchange looks of confusion. As Ruby wondered what he could mean, "But, uh, we already know how to fight."
Ozpin points to Ruby, "You can only fight so long as you have Crescent Rose, but you're still lacking in hand-to-hand combat."
"Well, uh, yeah." Ruby admitted.
Ozpin pointed to Jaune, "Mr. Arc, I'm glad to hear you've improved, but sorry to say, you've yet to unlock your Semblance. All of you still have a-ways to go before you're ready to pose any real threat against Chrovos and their forces. And though Oscar can give me temporary control, he'll need to strengthen his body and his Aura."
Oscar mentally spoke from within, "Wait, what?"
"He'll inherit my muscle memory in time, but practice will expedite the process. Lastly, I hear Caboose has had a new discovery with his powers. Is this true?" Ozpin questioned.
Caboose nodded as he tried to think back on it, "Well uh I think... or more like I sort kinda have one."
"Let's not talk about it now, if Qrow's out looking for Huntsmen, then who's going to teach us?" Emerald shifted the topic.
Ozpin then propels himself into the air with his cane, spinning counterclockwise into a barrel roll before landing onto the seat of the armchair, twirling his cane, "Well, I believe I was the Headmaster of Beacon Academy." All of the present students have various looks on their faces, "We have approximately one month before classes resume at Haven. If Salem were to plan an attack, it would make sense that it would occur prior to students' return. It's not much time, but it's better than nothing. Just don't expect me to go easy on you."
Suddenly, he glows green and white again, switching control back to Oscar. He has a hard time keeping his balance on the armchair before falling backwards. Oscar groaned in pain, "You've gotta be kidding me."
Caboose smiled as he goes over to lift up the small Ozpin.
Okay so, sorry for the wait, just recently got a job and that's been taking up quite sometime. And I know it's been awhile and some of you remember how I promised you all some origin stories of the old team members. Well some will come crossed with some other stories of famous characters as you can tell. Except Sarge and Junior those two have an entirely different story. Also just recently discovered how best to use Tucker's Semblance. However I can not reveal it just yet.
Until next time, Churchisalive signing off for now.
