3rd Person (P.O.V)
Ritsu had awoken early and was currently sitting on the train in his school uniform with his backpack, on his lap was a slightly larger bag in case he had to run which held his important documents, the money he saved, his journal and a few changes of clothes.
He was slightly nervous to see Masamune, their child gave him the courage to not stutter over the phone for the first time. He knew he had to be strong, and he couldn't fall apart. The few hours of sleep he had helped him clear his mind even further. He felt guilty for just running away from the love of his life. It had broken his heart when he had called him to hear the worry and the confusion in his voice.
Ritsu discreetly held his hand over his stomach as he promised their child he would do his best to fight for their small family. Never in his wildest dreams when it came to Masamune did he ever think a child would be involved. Ever since he had an awoken that morning his thought wandered knowing for the first time in their relationship they would have to seriously talk.
He needed to know what Masamune felt for him. Where their relationship was going, could they be a family, will his lover follow him if he knew he would have to run away in order to protect their child. Most of all they needed to get to know each other more as Ritsu could barely form a sentence to ask any type of question.
He was snapped out of his thoughts as his stop was announced, he sighed as he lifted his bags and disembark from the train.
Masamune held the ice pack over his head as he sipped on a cup of tea. Ritsu was awakening different types of emotions within him. He has never felt nervous or worried of this magnitude as he walked back-and-forth in front of the window waiting for his boyfriend to arrive. In that moment he wasn't more grateful for his parents not being around as he wouldn't have to explain what was going on.
As soon as Ritsu stepped through the gates got a bit anxious, putting a bit of pressure of the ice pack onto his bump, causing him to close his eyes. Even hours later it still hurt, he couldn't help but wonder how in the name of literature did a tiny body like his boyfriend have such a powerful hit.
Ritsu took a deep breath as he lifted his hand and lightly knocked on the door, not worrying as he knew his boyfriend's parents weren't around. Masamune walked towards the door the ice pack still on his head. As soon as he opened the door he was gazing into a pair of green eyes that soon started to widen.
"M-Masamune a-are you o-okay?". Ritsu asked frantically as he looked at his disheveled boyfriend, whose eyes looked tired and was holding an ice pack to his head. He could also feel his face going red once again his brain was turning to mush and he started stuttering, but he knew the affect his boyfriend had on him. Wouldn't be going away anytime soon.
"Despite your blushing and stuttering, today's the first time I was able to ever look into your eyes". Masamune whispered as his boyfriend always had trouble keeping eye contact even when they were intimate, he was now looking into the most beautiful pair of green eyes he ever seen.
"H-hey stop t-trying to distract m-me". Ritsu said as he could feel his face go aflame. He quickly entered the house as Masamune step to the side. He immediately dropped his bags as his boyfriend close the door and he immediately went to his side. "What h-happened?". He asked worriedly as his boyfriend lifted his eyebrow and surprise.
"Ritsu, how can you ask what happened when your the one that roundhouse kicked me before you ran away". Masamune said incredulously, looking at his boyfriend whose eyes widen.
"I-I d-did that?". Ritsu asked as he couldn't remember doing that but knew his boyfriend was telling the truth as one thing about him is that he would never lie, he always spoke his mind.
"Yes, I'm not sure how a powerful blow can come from such a small body. I wasn't able to go after you since I was dizzy and your pretty fast when you wanna be". Masamune said as Ritsu brought his shaking hands to his face caressing his cheek.
"I'm s-so s-sorry". Ritsu whispered his voice cracking as his eyes filled with tears, which was the last thing Masamune wanted.
"Hey it's alright. I'm fine Ritsu it's just a tiny bump". Masamune said as he pulled his boyfriend into a hug as he felt Ritsu grip tighten on his uniform shirt that he was still wearing from the day prior.
Masamune pulled back as he tossed his ice pack onto the table near the door. His attention was on the green eyes of his boyfriend, whose face was completely red, eyes filled with tears. He brought his hands to his cheek as he caressed it before connected their lips.
He felt a slight weight off of his shoulder as Ritsu reciprocated his kiss, giving him hope that his boyfriend wouldn't break up with him over the misunderstanding of the night prior. Masamune felt his heart beating rapidly before he found himself whining, as Ritsu pulled away from their kiss, completely flushed to the tips of his ears.
Ritsu slowly shake his head, trying to get his brain to begin to function normally. "We n-need to talk M-Masamune. M-my brain d-doesn't f-function when y-your this close to me". Ritsu said stuttering as he pulled back from his boyfriend's embrace, and put a bit of distance between them, which made him feel guilty at the hurt expression on Masamune face.
"Are you here to break up with me?". Masamune said as his expression goes blank even though he could felt his heart squeezing tightly.
"Of course not". Ritsu answered without hesitation shaking his head frantically. "I just wanna have a clear head which doesn't help when your near me. You know I can become a stuttering mess, constantly apologizing, my face going up in flames like it is now and can't make any type of eye contact". Ritsu said as he knew he had some of these habits from before but it only got worse in the presence of Masamune.
"Why did you run away from me without letting me answer your question?". Masamune asked going straight to what had started this mess in the first place.
"I wasn't thinking at the moment all I could feel was hurt when I couldn't read your expression on your face only for you to start laughing slightly, which caused me to get angry". Ritsu said completely embarrassed as he turned his back to Masamune not able to look at him.
Masamune sighed knowing his boyfriend could be slightly impulsive as well as he was two years younger than himself. He walked over to Ritsu and wrapped his arms from behind him. He felt smaller hands wrapping around his forearms, holding on tightly as he could feel a slight wetness falling on his arm.
"I'm sorry Ritsu". Masamune whispered as he placed a kiss on top of his brown hair. "I don't remember laughing. Maybe I was a bit embarrassed by you asking me that question when we're in a relationship. We have been intimate together, even with the other people I've tried dating I've never given myself completely to anyone the way I have you. I know we have a lot to talk about but never doubt the love I feel maybe it wasn't like that in the beginning but I got there eventually especially when you made me smile for the first time by walking into a wall. Before you my world was completely dark you became my light and showed me what happiness felt like". Masamune said as he wasn't able to see green eyes widening as that was the most he had ever talked.
"Don't say that Masamune you might leave me after I tell you what I wanted to tell you last night, but I got scared and asked you that question". Ritsu whispered his grip tightening on his boyfriend's forearm.
Masamune felt a sinking feeling in the pit of his stomach as he could hear the fear coming from Ritsu voice. "What's going on Ritsu whatever it is we can get through it together. I know I'm not exactly the easiest person to understand and I can be moody, I know I've hurt you before but believe me when I say I don't see a future without you I know we're still young but you are it for me. You are my soulmate I would be a fool to let you go". Masamune whispered even though it was uncomfortable for him he knew he had to be more open with his boyfriend.
"Would you run away with me if I asked?". Ritsu whispered much to the shock of his boyfriend, whose eyes were widen as he slowly let go and turned him around.
"Ritsu what's going on are you having trouble at home?". Masamune asked worriedly as his boyfriend refused to make eye contact but had no other choice as Ritsu felt a finger under his chin, causing him to look up into hazel eyes.
"I'm not having trouble at home right now but once my parents find out what I'm about to tell you they will try to keep me away from you. I need to know would you run away with me if I asked?". Ritsu said as he asked his question once again at the end.
"I would follow you anywhere but I need to know what's going on did you tell your parents about our relationship or are you scared of their reaction?". Masamune said as he watched his boyfriend shake his head.
Ritsu took a shake in breath as he backed away from a confused Masamune and went straight to his school bag, digging out the ultrasound and documents of his doctor's visit. " I want you to know that I didn't know any of this was possible. My parents knew what was going on since my birth but never shared this type of information with me as they always imagine I would be with a girl". Ritsu explained shakily as he could feel his hands trembling.
"Hey it's alright I'm right here". Masamune said as he could see his boyfriend had gone pale, his hands shaking with a folder in his hand. "Let's go into the kitchen and get you some tea to calm your nerves". He said as he slowly let his younger boyfriend into the kitchen. He let him to the kitchen table, despite being tired and having a headache he knew Ritsu needed him right now.
It only took a few minutes for Masamune to have two mugs of tea in hand, walking over towards his boyfriend and setting one in front of him. Ritsu gratefully with shaking hands took the tea, and slowly sip it as the warm feeling was helping his nerves.
Ritsu tried to speak but no words come out of his throat. He was scared of Masamune reaction so he slipped the folder across towards his boyfriend, who raised the eyebrow confused as his green eyes looked away, finding his cup of tea more interesting.
Masamune on his part was beyond confused at the folder that sat in front of him as his boyfriend avoided eye contact. He sighed as he set his cup of tea to the side and grab the folder. He could hear Ritsu breathing pick up a bit as he opened it. It took a minute for his eyes to scan what he was seeing. His eyes widened at the picture that was attached to the paperwork.
Shakingly Masamune looked at his lover who was still avoided eye contact. He looked back-and-forth between the picture and Ritsu a few times before his breath hitched. "How are you... how is it possible... how long...?". Masamune asked frantically before his brain finally caught up to what was in front of him. Ritsu was pregnant, they were going to be parents.
Before he knew it his hazel eyes rolled to the back of his head, he fell out of his chair which caused Ritsu to jump, green eyes widening at the slump form of his boyfriend on the kitchen floor he immediately jumped out of his seat.
"Masamune". Ritsu yelped as he got to his knees, trying to wake up his lover.
