Cat awoke from his nap, rubbing his jaw. His cheeks ached, and he couldn't figure out why. All he had done was take a nap in the sun. If anything, he should be rocking a sporting tan. Cat took out his baton, and turned on the camera feature, grinning his million-dollar grin.
Only….the million dollar grin was scary, and how had he grown fangs!? This was bad. He needed help, but he wouldn't be seeing Ladybug till tonight for patrol. Marinette! Marinette was calm and level-headed (most of the time) she would know what to do.
He found her at home, working away at her sewing machine. She smiled when she saw Cat. "Hey, Kitty! What brings you here?" Cat grabbed a piece of paper, scribbling. "I have a tooth problem," he wrote. Marinette chuckled. "You shouldn't be surprised, with all the cookies you eat. Come on, let's see how bad it is." Cat shook his head, backing into a corner. "Cat, open your mouth. Be a good kitty."
Cat answered with a warning growl, followed by hiss. "Don't you hiss at me!" she scolded, and Cat instantly felt bad. "Sorry," he mumbled. But Marinette wasn't listening. "Cat, what happened? Your teeth are scary!" "You don't have to rub it in! I woke up from a nap, and bam! Fangs!"
"The good news is, there's a solution to your problem," Marinette said, grabbing her phone. "The bad news is, you have to go to the vet."
"I'm sorry, ma'am, we only treat animals here," the receptionist said. "I think you'll change your mind when you see this. Say ah, Cat!" "Oh, my! I'll call the vet right away!" she scurried off, and Marinette sighed.
Cat was not happy when his teeth had to be filed, but he would never get a date with Marinette or Ladybug if his teeth stayed like this! "There you go, Cat," the vet said, handing him a small mirror. "I'll filed and shiny." Cat grinned in the mirror. "Hey there, handsome." "Come on, let's go, Cat Boi."
Cat followed Marinette out. "Now that that's taken care of, I should get back to sewing, Cat, why are you staring at me like that?" "I was a good kitty. Good kitties get cookies!"
Marinette giggled. He was a good boy, cat boi and all.
