A young 11-year old Ben would roll out of the blast from his familiar enemy, an animalistic galvanic mechamorph known as Malware. "I am here for Azmuth!" Malware declared. Intent on taking revenge upon his father.
Ben glared at Malware and readied his Omnitrix. "You picked the wrong Hero to mess with again."
"So pick the right hero, Ben!" His cousin Gwen told him, clearly referring to not tansforming to feedback. "Turn into Diamondhead, he's the only alien you've beaten Malware with!"
Ben ignored her, she was only jealous. Besides, there is only one alien he needs to beat Malware. He slammed his hand on the dial of the Omnitrix, causing his sking to turn pitch black as his eyes merged into a single large eye while he grew in height. Antennae-like appendages sprouted from his head and a tail formed, all having plugs at the the end as the same plugs formed at his finger tips.
"Ben, not Feedback again!" Gwen shouted as Malware fired another blast from his arm cannon.
"Relax Gwen." Feedback said as he absorbed the blast, his hand sparking with electricity. "What goes around, comes around." He turned to her.
"Good idea." Malware said as he grabbed Feedback from behind, grabbing the Omnitrix. Feedback groaned in pain as red, vein-like markings spread out from the Omnitrix on his chest through out his body.
"Ben!" Gwen called out in concern.
Malware laughed as red electricity surged from the Omnitrix as he somehow managed to pull out Ben from Feedback's body to the shock of both cousins. "My, my, isn't this a surprising turn of events." Malware said as he tossed the child aside. "If I recall correctly, you are quite attached to this form. Not anymore." He stated as Feedback turned into red energy and began to dissolve.
"No!" Ben called out as he watched his favorite alien get destroyed.
"Although I am here for Azmuth, I wish to destroy him with his so-called 'greatest creation', the Omnitrix." Malware said as turned to Ben. "Now give it to me!" He demanded.
Ben glared at the mutated mechamorph with tears flowing down his cheeks as he fiddled with the Omnitrix's dial, causing it's face plate to open up. "Fine, you want it? Here!" He shouted as he ran towards Malware and shoved his arm and the Omnitrix into him. Green electricity surged from them as Malware's red marking began to turn green.
"Yes, YES! I can feel it's powere flowing through me. It becomes me!" Malware cheered before his body suddenly began to destabilize in spasm. "What?! No, I'm overloading! No!" He cried out.
It was then that Grandpa Max ran outside, holding Azmuth in his hand and saw what was happening. "Ben don't!" He called out.
Malware cried out in agony as he felt his very body charging to the point of destruction, this can't be happening! He refuses to be taken out by some brat wielding his father's favored creation. If this his last moments, then he will drag them down with him! He channeled all of his energy to attempt to form a piece of tech he had stolen from the plumbers during one of his attacks, a Null Void projector. It's barely able to form, but it will be enough.
Ben cried out as the electricity surged even stronger around them as the Null Void Projecter began to destabilize. Malware similarly as he fired the projector, a bright green light engulfed both of them and made Gwen, Max and Azmuth cover their eyes before it died down, revealing nothing where Malware and ben once stood.
"Ben." Max muttered as he stared at where they once stood.
Although Many would expect to find Ben in an infinite expansion of space, trapped with countless other prisoners and monsters of the Null Void. However, that is not what happened with our Ben.
Ben groaned as he groggily opened up his eyes. To his surprise he found himself in some sort of cave filled with mining equipment and orange minerals lining the walls. "Wha... What happened?" He asked as he got up and wiped his eyes. "Where am I?" He looked around to try and figure out where he was.
He then glanced at his Omnitrix and gained a sad look on his face. "Oh... Yeah." He muttered, tears beginning pool in the corners of his eyes before wiping them off.
"Grandpa? Gwen?" He called out, hoping for a response. Alas, he recieved none.
"Did I get teleported somewhere again?" Ben wondered before pausing. "Please don't be off planet." He begged to no one in particular.
"Go ahead and beat it already!" A voice shouted in the distance.
Ben turned his head and ran towards the destination. finding some large rocks to hide behind, he peered over to see what was going on. He saw a group of what looked like thugs in miner outfits and robots surrounding an downed elderly miner.
"You punks won't get away with this." The old man scowled at them.
"Sorry old man, but it's a matter of survival and we're taking all these geomarrow. So beat it or we're gonna have to get even uglier." The lead vagrant threatened, pointing his shovel to the man.
Ben looked away from the conversation and stared down at the Omnitrix, the loss of Feedback playing in his mind. He then stared back at the vagrants and scowled.
"I've been working at this mines for decades. You punks are gonna need to do a lot more than that to scare me." The old man spat.
"Looks like we're doing this then." The vagrant glared down at the old man, unaware of a green flash nearby and raised his shovel into the air.
The elderly man braced himself, preparing for the strike.
...Only to pry open an eye as he never felt it come and looked up to see the shovel the vagrant was wielding was being held back by a vine. In fac the vagrant himself along with everyone around was staring at it in under bewilderment.
"Picking on the old man? Really?" A voice said and everyone turned to see just what the vine was attached to, a tall humanoid plant man with a flytrap-like colllar surrounding his head, a single large, blue eye and four vines sticking out of his lower half acting as legs.
"What the hell are you?!" The vagrant screamed as he let go of his shovel and backed away.
"For now, Just call me Wildvine. But more importantly, I'm the one stopping you from attacking an old man." Wildvine narrowed his single eye at them.
The lead vagrant growled. "Don't mess with us, freak. Get him!" He yelled out, causing the other vagrants to charge.
"For some reason they always pick the hard way." Wildvine said as his fingers extended outwards and morphed as the came into contact with several vagrants and tied them up thich vines.
"What the-?!" The lead vagrant screamed as he was hit to by a tendril and tied to a stalagmite.
"Well, that was easy enough-" Wildvine was cut off by a rocket slamming into him and knocked him aside. "Oh cheap move!" He grumbled as he got up to see several robots facing him, some looking like traffic lights, others looking like fists and the rest looking like a wheel with two wheels in front and another wheel in back.
Wildvine reached back and grabbed some pods from his back and tossed them at the robots, creating several explosions. When the smoke cleared, a few of the traffic light robots showed a visible shield dispersing. Wildvine narrowed his eyes before extending his arms and grabbing one of them and swinging them around like a club and taking out several of the robots.
Upon seeing all of the robots wrecked, Wildvine dusted off his hands. "All in a days work." He said unaware of one of the fist robots sneaking up behind him and glowing.
The old man immediately raised his arm in alarm. "Hey, behind you!" He shouted as the robot lunged and slammed into Wildvine and exploded, blowing off his upper half, leaving everyone to stare in shock.
Then, to their further shock and a bit of horror for some of them, his upper half began to grow back. "First off, cheap shot." Wildvine said as he raised a finger before raising a second one. "Second off, OW!"
"So, new plan, who up for retreating?" One of the uncaptured vagrants said before another dropped his weapon and ran away.
There was a brief pause before chaos broke out as the rest fled too. Wildvine turned to the elderly miner. "Are you okay?" He asked.
The old man stared at him for a few moments before regaining his bearings. "Uh, yeah. Gonna need a minute though. But who, and what, are you?"
"Well, that what's a bit difficult to explain but just call me Wildvine." The florauna said. "But I don't suppose you mind telling me where I am? I'm a little lost."
That made the man raise an eyebrow. "Lost enough to find yourself in one of Belobog's mines?"
That at least gave Wildvine a name. "I'm a plant, some plants dig into he ground." He raised his hands defensively. "By the way, what should we do with these guys." He gestured to the captured vagrants.
"Ah just leave 'em for now. I need to rest up these old bones, Wildfire will be pick them up soon anyway." The elderly man said.
"Wildfire?" Wildvine questioned.
"No relation to you, I'm pretty sure." The man snorted. "Boulder town's own law enforcement. Only thing keeping things from falling apart really."
"I see. By the way I saw a lost kid earlier in the mind, might wanna check that out after." Wildvine lied.
The man's brows furrowed. "A kid in the mind? Must've been one of the young ones wanting to help out. Hope he's okay." He said in concern.
"Seemed okay to me if not lost and confused about where he is." WIldvine told him.
"Hope he didn't hit head or worse, got fragmentum poisoning." The man said with a worried look, making Wildvine both confused and curious.
Suddenly the Omnitrix began to beep and flash red, causing Wildvine to panic. "Ah! Well, got to go. See ya!" He shouted and extended his arm to swing off before the man could get a word out.
"What was that guy?" The man wondered as he laid his head back, missing a red flash.
Just for all you diehard Honkai impact fans, I am not well versed in Honkai Impact lore so if something goes against the lore like other worlds and stuff, before you start crying about inaccuracies, 1: It's fanfiction so I can make some slight changes to make it work, and 2: If you gonna do it at least do it in an informative way and instead of doing something like just saying I got something wrong and call me an idiot and saying I suck.
