Today's the day for the Prism Cup! He can't wait! Leo had already sped over to the Arena like a light, brimming with energy. There's some good competition today, it makes him so excited!
He looked at his deck, taking out Power Tool Dragon. 'I bet you're pumped up too, huh?' He smiled. While he can't understand Duel Spirits like his sister, he sometimes can just tell what his dragon is feeling. Maybe, it's signer stuff or that it's just their bond.
"Leo?" His head perked up at his name spoken in a familiar voice, and beamed like the sun as he ran over to the black-haired man and the ginger next to him. "Yusei! Crow! You're here!!" Leo said with a big smile as Crow gave him a hearty pat. "Of course, we came! When Yusei showed me the Prism Cup contestants, I had to go! Can't wait to see what the Morphtronic Legend has for us!" Crow laughed.
Leo rubbed the back of his head bashfully. Right, that's what they're calling him. It's flattering but a bit embarrassing. "Well, I'll do my best to give you guys an amazing duel to see! Light Tracker is all ready to zip through the arena!"
"I bet it is." Yusei smiled calmly. "Good luck." A man of few words, but all of them held so much emotion and care. He can really see why Akiza fell for him. "Luck is my middle name!" Leo chuckled.
"Attention all duelists! Please come to the Arena to prepare for the Tournament!"
"Well, I'll see you guys after the duel!" "Good luck, Leo!" Crow cheered as Leo sped to the Arena.

The Prism Cup had begun. Each duelist was paired against each other to reach the top. Leo had just reached the Semi-Finals, fighting against a duelist who held a Cyber Deck. Those can be quite terrifying when you let Cybers do their thing.
Now, he was walking to the starting point, runner beside him as he hops on. "Everyone, give a welcome applause to the Morphtronic Legend, Leo Horanai!" The announcer said as loud cheering filled the arena. Leo waved at everyone and smiled when he saw Crow and Yusei in the audience.
Oh, the camera! He gives a wave to the camera broadcasting the Tournament, knowing Luna is probably watching the duel. "And now, our newest Pro-Duelist! The Fairytail Queen, it's Ai Susune!"
There she is. The one who swept through other duelists like nothing. A woman rode her Duel Runner to the starting line. Leo looked at her in curiosity.
Fairytail Queen definitely seemed to match. Her runner was a serene, light green with swirls of crystal blue and yellow. Like waves. And there were pink flowers on the side. Her helmet also matched with the light green and pink flowers. Hair holding such a dark blue, almost the same color as the ocean's depths. Yet, her eyes were.. gold? Green? They were so light and yellow, he couldn't tell.
"Ai, was it? Glad to meet you!" Leo smiled happily. "I've been looking forward to this! Rumors say you're quite the strong duelist!" "Yes." She spoke. Her voice was soft, bit almost monotone. Like an empty husk. It's like someone burned her individuality and left her with ashes of who she used to be. "And I've heard alot about you. And your relation to... Akiza."
"Akiza?" Leo asked, now looking a bit puzzled. Huh? Did he see some type of expression that felt.. like intense sadness? Or was it his imagination? "Uh, yeah. She's a friend of mine."
He heard the Fairytail Queen mutter something, but couldn't decipher it. "Huh?" "Nothing. Let's get started."
"Everyone! Are you ready?!" The announcer shouted, getting loud cheers as a response.
"DUEL!!"
[LEO: 4000 LP]
[AI: 4000 LP]
"Ladies first!" Leo said with a cheeky smile as their runners went on autopilot, activating Duel Mode.
"How suave." Ai spoke, almost sarcastically. "My turn."
"I play the spell card Constellar Belt. It protects my Light Monsters from being negated from effects." The card appears on the field, emitting small lights all over her field. It was like these small lights were the protectors.
"Then, Fairytail Tales. I can show a Spellcaster Monster with 1850 ATK and immediately summon this monster from my hand. Thus, I'll summon Fairy Tail Rella." A small anthropomorphic dog jumps out the light from below, her fur crystal light blue and wearing a minty green dress and clear glass slippers.
"I'll end my turn with two face downs."
"My move!" Leo said as he draws a card from his deck. While he wished he started with a level 4 Morphtronic, this is alright.
"I summon Morphtronic Scopen!" He shouts as Scopen comes out in attack mode. Resembling a black Duo-Scope, the machine extended out it's thin, retractable pincers from it's body. "Then, I place a facedown and end my turn!"
"My turn."
Ai looked at the card she drew, and her eye held a glint that Leo notices. She drew something good. "I summon Fairytail Luna." Another Fairytail monster. A fox this time, wearing a green and yellow kimono. Instead of a book on her tail like the others, it held a scroll. She wipes the tear that threatened to fall from her eye. "Her effect activates, which I can add a Spellcaster that has 1850 ATK from my deck to my hand."
"Nice try!" Ai blinked, looking slightly surprised.
"I use Ash Blossom! When I discard Ash Blossom from my hand, I can negate your effect!" The minute Ash Blossom entered the Graveyard, Fairytail Luna was suddenly attacked with cherry blossom petals, stopping her effect.
"Huh." Ai blinked, before the slightest of surprise vanished from her face. "Next, I attack your Morphtronic Scopen."
"Then I activate Magic Cylinder! That damage goes straight to you!" Leo countered as Magic Cylinder rose from the field. The attack zipped to one cylinder, and the other launched the attack back to Ai.

She stared at him for a moment. "I end my turn."
"I draw!"
Leo looked at the card and smiled. Nice! "I use Morphtronic Scopens effect! Once per turn, I can special summon a level 4 Morphtronic monster! So, I special summon Morphtronic Radion!" Another Morphtronic was pulled into the field from the earth, thanks to Scopen. "Radion's effect activates, making all Morphtronic Monsters gain 800 ATK!"
The screen of a radio glowed on Radion's chest, raising the number from 123 to 146. [Scopen: 1600 ATK]
[Radion: 1800 ATK]
"Then, I summon Morphtronic Scopen!" Another Scopen rose from the ground, before it glowed momentarily. [Scopen: 1600 ATK]
"Next, I use Limiter Removal, doubling their Attack Points!" As Leo activated the spell, the glass on Scopen breaks as the two monsters rose and roared in power. [Scopens: 3200 ATK each]
Now, I attack Fairytail Rella with Scopen!"
"I activate my trap, Lumenize. I can negate the attack, then raise a Light Monster's attack points by the number of the attacking Monster's attack." The light shielded Fairytail Rella from the attack before getting absorbed by Fairytail Luna. Luna glowed gently as her attack rose.

Leo hums in thought, a serious face before he looks back at Ai with a fiery look. "Then Scopen, attack Rella!"
"I activate Negate Attack. Putting an end to the Battle Phase."
Well, shoot. Leo enters his Main Phase Two. Well, he couldn't do damage before with Scopen, he'll definitely do some carnage soon enough! "Well. I'll then tune my Scopen with My Radion!" Scopen becomes three small lights, before becoming three rings as Radion hovers in. Becoming transparent, the Morphtronic turns into four small lights. A bright light begins to shine.
"Docking strength with courage to protect world peace! Synchro Summon! Envoy of love and justice, Power Tool Dragon!" And with that, the mechanical dragon rises from the light. The glint in it's red orbs showed it's readiness to fight, as it's screw gun and blue shovel shone like polished metal. It let out a rumbling roar.

"Power Tool's effect activates!" Leo smiled. "Once per turn, I can reveal three Equip Spells from my deck! Then, you randomly choose one for me to put in my hand while the rest get shuffled back into the deck! Now, pick a card! Any card!"
Ai looked at the screen on her runner, showing the face down cards she must pick from.
"That one, in the middle."
"Let's see.. Ah, it's Double Tool C ! Thanks, mighty kind! Speaking of said card, I equip it to Power Tool Dragon!" The shovel and screw gun were replaced with a red saw and a sharp drill. Power Tool Dragon roars as the drill revs up.

"Then I'll end my turn with a face down! Sadly, Limiter Removal's effect takes Scopen." Scopen burst to many parts, thus vanishes from the field.
"My turn." Ai looked at her hand. "I activate Pot of Prosperity. Banishing 3 to 6 cards from my extra Deck face down, I can look at that number of cards and choose one to put in my hand. The rest shall go back to the bottom of my deck. Unfortunate that the damage you receive is halved this turn."
"Now.." She looked upon her hand. Galaxy Serpent, Hymn of Light and.. her beloved card. "I summon Galaxy Serpent, then I use the Ritual Spell Hymn of Light." A beautiful symbol resembling stained glass work showed itself from the ground.
"Sacrificing Galaxy Serpent and Fairytale Rella..." The two monsters became light, absorbed to the symbol as a glowing figure began to ascend from the symbol. Angelic wings stretch out from the slender body of the dragon.
"Wings of purity shall save us from the cold, cruel world that rejects us. Our only choice is to embrace the light that calls to us. Embrace heaven with your gentle wings! Ritual Summon! Saffira, Queen of Dragons!"
There she was, in all her majestic glory. Feathers that ranged from pure white to a light crystal blue and gleaming gold horns and accessories, The Queen of Dragons fans out her wings in grace and purity, the transparent feathers gleaming like prisms.
A thick cloud of dust arose all over the arena, surprising the announcer and the audience. "What's this?! The view is completely covered up!"

"I activate Luna's effect. Targeting your monster, I can have it go back to your hand by sending Luna back to my hand. Unless, you can send a monster with the same name to the Graveyard."
"I can, actually." Leo said as he sent a Power Tool Dragon from his extra deck to the Graveyard. "Wow, you're definitely as tough as they say." Leo smiled. "That's good! Makes the duel much more fun!" "Fun?"
"Uh, yeah! It's more fun dueling against someone strong, don't you think?" The teal-haired man tilts his head. "I'm not dueling for fun." Ai spoke. For the first time in this fight, he felt himself shrink a bit at her piercing stare. His stomach twists a bit in anxiety. Something's wrong.
"I'm dueling because it's my purpose. To wipe out my targets, as my lady commands." That sentence didn't sound right. It's like she is someone's dog, simply obeying every order she gets. For some reason, it sounds like she has nothing else in her life besides.. following what she's commanded to do.
"And what she wants me to do... Is to target my powers to you."
"One who took our Black Rose from us."
Huh? "Wait, what do you-?"
Suddenly crashing, he felt a stabbing pain as sparks fled from Light Tracker. He screamed out, whipping his widened gaze to what had happened. She's crashing her Duel Runner to his, ramming him to the wall of the arena. The skidding caused his right leg to burn from the impact.
"W-Wh- Are you crazy?!" Leo shouted as he glanced around. The cloud of dust that Saffira had created before shielded them from the views of the audience, only the screeching of metal being able to be heard. "Stop!! You're going to get us killed!!"
"That's fine. It's what I must do. For you're to blame." Ai said, still blank-faced. He didn't know if he'd rather have her at least glare at him or not. "You and the others. You took our precious Black Rose from her home." "What?! What are you talking about?!" Leo shouted, before letting out a pained scream when her runner jammed into his again. They would never hurt Akiza like that, they even reunited her to her home! She's their friend, his older sister! There's no way-!
Leo hears a crack of metal. Shoot, Light Tracker can't keep handling this!
"It'll just be a tragic accident of two duelists." "Two?!" Leo shouted. "Wait, Ai!! Why are you doing this?!" "For my senior." "Even to this extreme?! Even if you get killed?!" He wasn't sure what his plan is. To make time? To reason with her? All he knows is that he's in danger. They're both in danger.
"That's fine. My life purpose is to serve the Arcadia Movement. It's why this tournament exists."
No.. Many memories, bad ones, flooded his brain at the name. Arcadia Movement, previously led by Sawyer. A cult, taking advantage and harming it's Psychic Duelists. Performing tests on those who held potential. And if you weren't like them...
Sawyer would personally see that you're disposed of. But, it was destroyed. It couldn't have lived through that!! The dark signers.. When Carly and Misty fought, it crumbled to the ground! It shouldn't exist! Unless.. They made a new hideout?!
"Now, Saffira. You know what to do."
Leo gasped as he looked up to see the Queen of Dragons ready her fire. No, this can't be happening!! The moment she shot her flames to them, Leo braced for the worst. He was prepared to feel Saffira's flames, or the painful magic of Fairytail Luna. Yet, it didn't come. No scorching pain or Ancient Fairy Dragon telling him that he died. He looked up.. To witness Power Tool Dragon, shielding them from the fire. "Power tool!"
"It blocked it.." Ai spoke as she stared at the mechanical dragon in shock, probably the most expression he had ever seen of her during this whole duel. Power Tool Dragon roared as it blocked the fire from reaching Leo and Ai.
"Ai, I can't let you do this.. I have people here who need me!!" Ai immediately turned her attention to Leo, about to slam into him again but he forced his runner to a halt with the emergency brakes. She crashed to the wall while Leo skidded and tumbled down with his runner slamming to the ground and flinging him off. Apparently, the cloud of dust was finally beginning to settle as the audience barely caught sight of their fall.
And screams of horror echoed through every direction. "Leo!!" Yusei had gotten up and immediately ran out of the auditorium, speeding to the race track with Crow closely behind him. "What the hell happened?! They both crashed down!!" Crow exclaimed as they sped through the guards.
"Security, get the duelists to the Infirmary immediately!" Lynce ordered as the accident was immediately accessed. Leo felt pain all over, barely able to glance around. His body ached and begged for him to stay down. He can see in the corner of his eye, that Power Tool Dragon watched him. Despite the metallic appearance, he can just tell. He was worried.
I'm okay.
He can barely hear the orders being yelled to the guards. He swore he could hear Yusei and Crow shouting. But, it's just getting too dark and quiet.
