"Here we are." Niklaus states, letting go of both Elena and I.
"Is this where the ritual is taking place?" Elena asks, looking around at all the trees surrounding her.
"No, the ritual is down the path. But take in the scenery, for it will be the last thing you ever see." Niklaus states in a menacing tone. Elena steps back in fear of him.
"Sister, you got this handled." Niklaus stated looking back at me, and I looked at him, confused.
"Where are you going?" I ask him.
"To make sure that everything else is ready." Niklaus states, before he vamp speeds off, leaving just Elena and me.
"So..you're helping Klaus with his sacrifice?" Elena asks me intrigued.
"Helping with the sacrifice...no. Helping to keep him alive..yes." I tell her. "Come on. I'm going to take you to the witch who is actually doing the sacrifice." I gesture for her to walk in front of me, and she hesitantly does.
"So you're just going to watch as I die?" Elena stated, walking, trying to make me feel guilty. I laughed at her gesture.
"Are you sure? Because last time I heard, Damon fed you his blood." I stated, and she seemed shocked. "He stopped by earlier."
"He did. But I'm not going to turn." Elena states, and I nod, still not caring.
"Well then, he tried to 'kill me' the other night for nothing then, if you are just going to sacrifice yourself anyways." I continue to walk down the path and can feel Elena eyeing me.
"Look, I'm sorry about what he did. He hasn't been behaving lately." Elena says, trying to apologize for Damon.
"No need. I understand." I stopped walking and Elena stopped as well. "He's just trying to save the girl he loves, and I know a lot about saving the people I love."
Elena says nothing about it and changes the subject. "Is this where the ritual is? I can't see anything."
I use my magic to light up the rocks, making fires. We then see two people in the distance. One stands while the other lies on the ground, but we're too far to see the person on the ground.
"This is Greta. The witch responsible for doing your sacrifice." I say pointing to Greta, as she walks up to me.
"Wait, aren't you Luca's sister?" Elena asks Greta, and she makes her way up to Elena now. "Him and your father were looking for you."
"Well, they were wasting their time. I wasn't lost." Greta stated to Elena. I walked over to see the girl lying on the ground. This must be the vampire Nik is sacrificing; it has to be. So why do I see Jenna?
Elena then walks closer, and notices that it is Jenna as well. She runs over and drops to her side, repeatedly calling her name. As Elena is freaking out, I look over to Greta in confusion.
"The vampire and the wolf from before were saved." Greta told me.
"Yeah. I know, Caroline and Tyler so...he needed a new vampire and werewolf." I state in realization and Elena looks at me confused.
"No. No she...she can't be." Elena states in denial. Then Jenna wakes up, and Elena gets startled back.
"She isn't dead. She is in transition." Greta stated with a smile.
"Why, why did he turn her out of all people?" Elena asks me.
"Klaus is probably irritated that Damon saved your friends. He likes to throw temper tantrums." I state, and she looks at me with dismay.
"It's almost time for the ritual. All we need is the wolf." Greta stated, making her way to her book for the spell.
"Oh, my head. What's wrong with me?" Jenna asks while rubbing her temples.
"Do you remember what happened?" Elena asks Jenna.
"You called me. You were so scared." Jenna stated, and her face turned to anger. "I should have realized it wasn't you. The second I walked out of the house, someone grabbed me. A vampire, and he made me drink his blood."
"Ohhh. Now I know what happened." I stated, and Jenna shot up to look at me.
"Kalle..? You're...a witch right?" Jenna asks me and I am taken back by the question.
"Oh. You're aware of the supernatural. That makes this a lot easier. My brother, Klaus, turned you into a vampire to sacrifice for his ritual." I say bluntly, and Elena shoots me an evil glare.
"What...what no I'm...I'm a vampire?" Jenna asks worryingly.
"No. I mean yes. Jenna it's okay, alright. I'm going to get you out of here." Elena states, and I roll my eyes.
"Come on Elena. Don't give her false promises." I tell her, and go to a sharp rock on the ground.
"What are you doing..?" Elena asks.
I grab the rock from the ground and pierce my wrist. "Feeding her."
"Wait no!" Elena tries to run at me, but I fling her away. Then fire comes up around her, which I did not do.
"Don't bother trying to get through. I spelled the circle. Your trapped, no matter what you do." Greta states and then looks back at me. "Give her the blood."
"Kalle! You don't have to do this, please!" Elena pleads with me.
"We could have stopped the ritual Elena if you had just listened to me. But you and your friends got greedy and wanted to end my brother's life. Now you have to deal with the consequences." I stated, putting my wrist in front of Jenna's mouth. "Come on Jenna, I know you want to drink it."
"Jenna don't." Elena tells Jenna.
"I can't." Jenna states, unable to fight the urge. Her face moves closer and closer to the blood, as Elena tries to convince her not to do it.
"NO!" Elena screams but Jenna then bites into my skin.
"Drink as much as you can. Klaus needs the energy." I tell her, and she continues to drink the blood. After a few seconds, she stops drinking and I move away from her.
Greta then puts up the same fire spell that surrounds Elena, around Jenna. I watch as Jenna's eyes start to turn black.
"I'll be back. I have to get the wolf." Greta stated, and I nodded. Greta then left, leaving Jenna, Elena, and me.
"Jenna, jenna look at me. It's going to be okay." Elena states to Jenna, but you can see it in her eyes she does not believe her own words.
"Really? Are you going to let lies be the last words spoken between you two?" I told Elena.
"Shut up!" Elena screams at me, angry and frustrated. "Klaus has done nothing but torture my family and friends. Stefan mentioned that he left you in a box for 100 years and you continue to stand by him just because he is your brother? You don't do that to someone you truly care about. "
I then gave her an aneurysm for speaking to me like that. "AHHH!" Elena screamed in pain, and Jenna was startled.
I stopped the spell once she dropped to the floor. "Don't talk about my family. You have no idea how it is to live with someone for the past 1000 years. You don't just give up on them because of a few mistakes; after all, they are all you have." I stated angrily.
"You can meet new people. You can meet better people." Elena states, rubbing her head.
"Who exactly, Elena? Someone human who will eventually die after their lifespan has ended? Or maybe another vampire friend who will stab me in the back for being a sister to the originals. Or or...maybe a witch? Oh, wait. All witches hate me because I am a disgrace to nature." I state sarcastically.
"Look, I understand wanting to protect the people you love." Elena said.
"No! You don't understand Elena. You believe just because you have had some supernatural experience that you can protect someone you love, but you can't. You do realize I have been here before, right? Klaus, Elijah, and I have been doing this same dance for 1000 years. This is not our first fight between one another. This is not the first time I've had to pretend to be someone I am not. None of this is new. And you know why? Because all humans are the same. In the last 1000 years, you have done nothing but change your clothes a little bit, allow more people to have rights, build an advanced civilization, but you know what hasn't changed? The way you treat people who are not the same as you. You still all treat us like we are the monsters which is why I stick with my brother. Not just because I love him but because I need him. All my siblings need each other, and your one flaw with your plan, would have been trusting Elijah." I state, forming tears in my eyes but quickly wiping them away.
Elena looks down at herself in disappointment about what I said, but then looks up at me confused. "Wait, what do you mean? I thought you said Elijah was a noble man?"
"He is, and he keeps his word...until it comes to family. Then his word becomes basically useless. And I bet the same exact situation will happen tonight." I tell Elena.
"Ahhhh!" We all hear screams coming from the distance.
"Who's that?" Jenna asks. I look over to see who it is, and I see Greta struggling with a wolf.
"It looks like our werewolf is here." I state with a smile, and Elena looks at me annoyed. Greta drops her on the ground, and I head over there.
"What's happening to me?" She screams in pain as I go to stand next to Greta.
"I slowed down your transformation. Your insides are trying to tear themselves free." Greta states. We both move out of the way and she puts the same fire to surround the girl.
"Greta, witches are supposed to maintain the balance of nature. It's your duty to them, to keep this curse sealed." Elena tries to plead to Greta.
"My duty is to Klaus. A new order." Greta states and I look at her confused. I actually wondered how Klaus managed to get a witch on his side, I mean he cannot compel them.
"Glad to know I still have a dance partner." Niklaus states and I turn around to see him standing there.
"Now I'm feeling sick." I say, pretending to vomit, and Nik just smiles at me. He then looks at the girls surrounded by fire.
"Hello, my lovelies. Are we ready?" Niklaus stated in a charming menacing tone.
