On Today's Episode: The spies make their way to Phil Jenkins' secret lair in hopes of stopping his latest plan. With the Valentine Sisters helping them out, they might just get it done faster, but Phil definitely isn't going to make it easy for them regardless. Add to that the strange sights inside this lair, and it's gonna be an interesting case. Can the spies figure everything out before Phil's plan comes to fruition?

Act 2: Finding the Perfect Venue

5:50 P.M. – Phil Jenkins' Secret Lair

"Okay, so, is this Phil's secret lair?" Haruka wondered once everyone had made it to the location that RiCO had pinpointed for them.

"I'd be hard-pressed to find out if it's not his secret lair," Mat replied.

"It definitely looks the part," Nozomi commented, observing the surroundings. "This place gives me weird vibes."

"What's with all of these strange dossiers on other singers?" Elphelt wondered.

"A sick obsession with not being the number one singer?" Clover guessed.

"Or I'm willing to bet it's part of his master plan, whatever that might be," Nick stated.

"I think Nick's guess sounds more like a winner," Dawn commented.

"You all must have a lot of experience dealing with this guy, huh?" Ramlethal asked.

"Oh, tell me about it," Clover stated.

"Try using Ricky Mathis' music to hypnotize others, just for starters," Sam started.

Every mission involving Jenkins then came up from the rest of the spies.

"...I don't know if I can find the words to describe this guy," Ramlethal commented.

"It comes with the territory," Bridget groaned. "Sometimes our villains have such asinine backstories for going the route they did..."

"Hey, I think I see something odd just up ahead," Melissa told the others.

"I think she's right," May told the others.

"Hmmm, and what might you be?" Alex wondered.

"Or WHO, if at all?" Britney added.

From what the spies could tell, it appeared to be a holographic image of the Valentine Sisters on a concert stage.

"Wait, it's... us?" Elphelt wondered.

"It looks like it's just a hologram, thankfully," Sam stated. "But that still begs the question of what it's doing here..."

The hologram began to move around as if playing a song, and then music began to play from the loudspeakers dotted around the hallway.

"Oh, crapbaskets, cover your ears, everyone!" Nick exclaimed. Everyone did so with whatever gadgets they could while May quickly ran over to one of the nearby consoles.

"Can you hack into this and play something different, RiCO?" May asked.

"Naturally," RiCO giggled as May placed her X-Powder onto the console after picking a song for RiCO to hack in.

The spies all kept their ears plugged for about ten seconds before the song stopped playing, and a different one began to play.

("Rodent's Kingdom" by Ironmouse plays)

"Ah, much better," May chuckled.

"Why am I not surprised you picked that one?" Nick chuckled.

"You've seen me listening to the latest Idol Opportunity album nonstop whenever we've got some downtime," May quipped. "Kanami's voice is amazing, and she can sing in both English and Japanese!"

'You two okay?" Melissa asked, turning back to Elphelt and Ramlethal.

"Yeah, I think so," Elphelt replied. "Looks like you changed the song just in time."

"How did Nick know that other song would hypnotize us?" Ramlethal wondered.

"My psychic powers tend to allow me to pick up whether something's 'wrong' with something," Nick answered. "I usually use it to check people's thoughts for any sign of subliminal thoughts that shouldn't be there, like I did with Elphelt, and that's how I figure out if someone's being hypnotized."

"Sounds very useful," Ramlethal chuckled.

"And on that note, let's keep moving before Phil figures out what's going on," Bridget stated.

That being said, the group ran off down the nearest hallway, once again following RiCO's directions to find Phil.

As the group rounded another corner, they found a small group of Phil's mooks waiting for them.

"Ah, look who decided to join the party," Alex chuckled.

"You won't be getting past us," one mook proclaimed.

"Oh, yeah? Who says?!" Blaine shot back.

"That would be us," another mook laughed.

"Oh, you're all just asking to get stomped, then," Nick taunted as he started charging towards the mooks.

As he got close enough to them, though, a strange light appeared right in front of him. Nick barely had time to react as a glass plate with cracks in it suddenly shattered outwards and a familiar purple glow surrounded the "doorway", the 'glass shards' hanging there in the air.

At the speed he was running, Nick couldn't stop in time and tumbled through the Quantum Rift, falling out on the other side on a rocky outcropping as the rift closed up just as quickly as it had appeared, the "glass shards" retreating to reform the "glass plate" before it disappeared.

"Okay, what the hell was that about?!" Nick growled as he jumped to his feet, only for confusion to just as quickly hit. "...and where exactly am I?"

As far as Nick could tell, he was currently standing within a vast expanse of space with purple coloration and thousands of crystal-like shards floating within it, a massive black void at the very bottom of this place, best described as "an eternity of darkness". Five multi-colored hexagonal shapes (colored red, green, blue, tallow, and purple in that order) were dotted all around this void, no doubt gateways to...

...he honestly didn't know.

"Is this another dimension?" Nick wondered. "Because that was clearly a Quantum Rift I stumbled through. But why does it look like everything here's... 'broken', for lack of a better term?"

"Oh, that's quite simple."

Nick glanced upwards and noticed what appeared to be Alex standing there on the top of a crystal formation growing from this ground, though she looked a couple years older.

And boy howdy, did she look pissed off.

"W-Wait, Alex, how did you get here?" Nick asked. "I thought I was the only one who fell into that rift..."

"Don't you play dumb with me!" Other Alex growled, reaching into her to pocket to pull out what looked like a massive laser pistol.

Nick didn't even have time to gasp in shock as Other Alex started firing on him, sending purple laser blasts his way. Nick began ducking and weaving to avoid the blasts.

"Alex, what the hell's the problem?! Why are you trying to turn me into swiss cheese?!" Nick shouted.

"I don't have to listen to you!" Other Alex exclaimed. "Not after what you did!"

"Would someone, anyone, like to explain to me what, exactly, I did wrong?!" Nick gasped.

"Just go to hell! This is all your fault!" Other Alex snarled.

Finally fed up, Nick reached out to telekinetically tear a chunk of crystal off of the wall and toss it at Other Alex, forcing her to jump away from it.

Just then, a Quantum Rift opened up near him again, and it seemed to lead back to his own world where the rest of the spies were fighting off Phil's mooks.

Realizing he had to take this chance (and also annoyed that Other Alex wouldn't listen to him), Nick dove into the rift while Other Alex was distracted.

"You can't run forever!" Other Alex shouted. "You're going to pay for your mistake eventually!"

Nick didn't hear Other Alex's proclamation, though, as the rift had closed behind him, giving him just enough time to slam his hand into the ground and use a Zero Gravity to send the mooks helplessly floating into the air.

"Now how about you let us through?" Nick chuckled as he and the rest of the spies made a break for it.

"Okay, so... what the heck just happened, Nick?" Alex gasped. "All we saw was a Quantum Rift opening and you falling into it before it closed up!"

"...honestly, I'm not really sure myself," Nick admitted even as he leaned over to hug Alex tightly. "Let's keep moving and I'll explain on the way."

"Wherever you went, bro, that couldn't have been good," Mat commented as the spy team moved forward.

"Let's just say that I saw the last thing I wanted to see with Alex," Nick replied concisely.

Alex could only think it was because she cheated on Nick (or vice versa), or if Nick flaked on plans they had again. For now, it was best of Alex to not speculate for now.

Nick remembered what happened before he fell through the Quantum Rift, a battle between the mooks.

"So, what happened to all the mooks?" Nick wondered.

"Bridget used Sonic Mode to start something," Haruka quipped.

"While Alex, Clover, and I finished them up," Sam added.

"And they just retreated like scared little girls!" Mat exclaimed, much to his delight.

"Turns out those guys weren't as hard as we thought," Blaine quipped.

"We chipped in, too," Elphelt giggled.

Ramlethal nodded in affirmation.

"Any idea where we head to now?" Nick wondered.

"If you go about twenty-five yards north, you'll find Phil Jenkins again," RiCO replied from Nick's X-Powder.

"Thanks, RiCO," Clover quipped.

The spies moved forward until Nick finally had the gall to tell Alex what he saw in the Quantum Rift.

"...is everything okay, Nick?" Alex asked.

"I guess I'm just still a little rattled," Nick replied. "When I fell into that rift, I found myself inside a purple void that only had crystal cliffs and some odd, multi-colored gateways. I didn't even get a chance to investigate what that place was when this other version of Alex, a couple years older than us, starts trying to shoot me for some reason, claiming that whatever happened to that place was all my fault. Naturally, I have no freakin' clue what she's talking about, and when I saw another rift open up that led back here, I got back here as soon as I could."

"...yeesh," Alex gasped.

"That's pretty savage, not gonna lie," May commented.

"Whoever put those thoughts in that other Alex's mind must REALLY not like Nick, at least," Bridget added.

"No time to think about that now, though... unfortunately," Sam pointed out.

"Did we spot him?" Blaine wondered.

"Even better..." Mat replied. "I sniffed out the rat..."

He'd used his Laser Chapstick to expose where Phil Jenkins had been hiding.

"If only it were that easy," May quipped.

"Tell me about it," Alex added.

"This is not over, spies!" Phil shouted at them.

Before long, he was met with some more haymakers when Elphelt and Ramlethal charged at Jenkins once again... still not done with earlier.

"This ought to make him slip up!" Sam exclaimed, getting out the Ice Queen Perfume while Phil Jenkins kept dodging Elphelt and Ramlethal.

Sam sprayed some at the ground, and Phil Jenkins happened to step on the slippery section.

"BULLSEYE, SAMMY!" Alex exclaimed.

"Let's go then, guys!" Britney added before they heard a couple of noises.

"What was that?" Nozomi wondered.

Phil Jenkins was the only one who knew what those noises meant and was thankful he finally did hear them.

"Looks like you might have just fallen into my trap, spies," Phil laughed.

"If it's more hypnotizing music, then please get a new act," Haruka sighed. "Because it got old the last five times you pulled this."

"Let's just say that this time, I had a little help," Phil chuckled. "And who, pray tell, is my best known collaborator?"

"I'm going to guess it's a certain guy who's got a metal hand, a crap-tastic taste in fashion sense, and is trying to sneak up behind my fiancée right now?" Nick quipped, giving Alex the chance to jump kick her would-be attacker back.

This revealed the figure to be, of course, Sebastian Saga.

"I really wish you wouldn't ruin my surprise ambushes, boy," Sebastian proclaimed.

"Remember, dude, I'm a psychic," Nick chuckled. "That plain ol' ambush tactic doesn't work on me anymore."

"Well, then, how about we try something a little different?" Sebastian laughed as he reached out towards Alex, his metal hand extending to snatch her up and bring her closer.

"Get that grabby metal hand off of my fiancée or you're going to lose it," Nick growled. "This is the only warning you're getting."

Sebastian opted not to listen, instead playing a power chord on his guitar with his free hand that caused Alex to wobble slightly in her spot.

"...oh, who thinks this is going to end well?" Dawn quipped.

As soon as Dawn had said that, Alex turned around in her spot, her eyes glazed over as a sign of her hypnosis, and she lunged towards Nick with clear intent.

Nick juked to the side to avoid Alex before advancing on Sebastian, the anger in his eyes obvious.

"I tried to warn you, you son of a bitch," Nick proclaimed, his psychic aura flaring to life around him. "And you just wouldn't listen."

"Oh, what, do you actually expect me to believe that you're going to cut my metal hand off?" Sebastian laughed. "You don't have the guts."

A slashing sound resounded, and the next thing Sebastian knew, Nick was behind him, a psychic energy blade extending from his palm. It took a few seconds, but Sebastian's metal hand quickly fell to the ground, having been severed from the rest of the metallic arm.

"Y-You..." Sebastian sputtered, clearly taking a couple seconds for it to sink in. "Y-You actually cut it off!"

"You haven't seen how many times I did it to Macker?" Nick retorted. "And it's not your flesh and blood arm, so you can just get it fixed, right?"

Nick didn't give Sebastian a chance to make a snappy retort, blasting him backwards with a Final Shine Attack before having to jump back to avoid another flying kick from Alex.

Nick threw out a psychic pulse to try and break Alex's brainwashing, but much to his surprise, she backflipped over him as he unleashed the pulse before diving down to knock Nick back with a snap kick.

While the rest of the spies kept Sebastian in check, Elphelt and Ramlethal both moved to attack Phil.

"You've got some nerve interfering with the course of true love, buddy!" Elphelt proclaimed.

"And what, exactly, can you do to me?" Phil laughed, only for Elphelt to take a step forward.

Phil didn't get a chance to respond before Elphelt lunged forward to slap him across the face, followed by backflipping over him to kick him in the back and send him stumbling forward. Ramlethal leaped forward to pounce on Phil and knock him into the air with an uppercut (resisting the oddly inappropriate urge to shout "SHORYUKEN"; she knew now wasn't the time) and finishing by kicking him in the chest and sending him flying into Sebastian.

"You asked for it," Elphelt chuckled.

Alex barged forward with a shoulder-tackle, only for May to slam her anchor down in front of Alex, causing her to take a step back.

Nick took advantage of that moment, slamming his palm into the ground and using Zero Gravity to make Alex float in the air. Wasting no time, Nick jumped and threw out another psychic pulse, and this one connected, sending Alex tumbling to the ground.

After a tense few seconds, Alex picked herself back up and looked around, her eyes back to their normal shine.

"Um... what just happened?" Alex wondered.

Both Phil and Sebastian agreed that now was the time to retreat, both heading down the nearby hallway.

"And don't come back, you pansies!" May shouted.

"Sorry if I'm a little confused, guys," Alex stated. "Last thing I remember is Sebastian going all extendo-hand to grab me, and then..."

Alex then noticed the severed metal hand lying on the floor near the group. "...okay, I guess that answers that question," Alex chuckled.

"I seriously can't believe he thought you wouldn't do it, especially after how many times you did it to Macker," Mat quipped.

"Our baddies rarely, if ever, learn their lesson," Nick responded before turning to hug Alex again. "I'm just glad you're okay, Alex."

"Hey, I'm tough," Alex chuckled.

"Any idea which way they went, RiCO?" Nozomi wondered.

"Just follow the blinking light," RiCO quipped.

As the spies moved down the hallway to pursue, with Elphelt and Ramlethal not far behind, Nick couldn't help but glance at Alex, and was very happy when she smiled back at him that way that he absolutely loved, the one that always set his heart aflutter.

That can only mean that the other Alex I saw in the rift isn't mad at me specifically, just her version of me, Nick thought. But now my question becomes: what exactly did that other Nick do to earn the wrath of Alex, of all people?

Nick could think of quite a few scenarios that led to what happened to Other Alex in that Quantum Rift, but every one of them left him with a cringe.

"Should we get used to whatever Nick saw as just outright lies or something?" Clover wondered as the spies moved forward.

"That would be my presumption," Mat commented.

The spies moved forward while they listened to RiCO's light beeping, and looking at Sam's X-Powder simultaneously.

"Spies, we also have an update on the liquid Mat found," Jerry added as his visage appeared as well.

"Well, let's hear it," Nick told Jerry.

"It appears to be a baseline for a bonding agent of sorts," Jerry answered.

"It's probably got something to do with how Phil and Sebastian are utilizing their hypnotic CDs," RiCO replied. "At least they're keeping up with the times, huh?"

"Well, if that's the case, we've got our work cut out to find a cure," Blaine told the others.

"Way ahead of you, Blaine," RiCO remarked. "When I got a good look at that bonding agent, it was child's play for me to figure out how to undo it."

"Quick thinking, guys!" Sam commended.

"The antidote's just about finished, too," RiCO added. "We'll be on call when you need us to use it."

"Got it," Nick stated.

"Hope it won't be a long wait," Haruka added.

The spies managed to pinpoint where Phil and Sebastian got to.

"Leave it to me to sniff 'em out," May stated as she got her anchor equipped.

Nick used his psychic radar to pinpoint their hiding place. "Over to the right..." Nick stated.

May hurled her anchor to a big pile of trash bags on top of a couple of metal trash bins. As expected, Sebastian and Phil were shocked.

"Maybe try picking a place that's not so obvious," Melissa quipped.

"That was totally a gimme there," Sam taunted.

"Let's do it, guys!" Alex exclaimed.

"Let's see how you fare against this!" Sebastian proclaimed as he strummed his guitar with his (now-repaired) metal hand, unleashing a series of booming sound waves around him to force the spies to keep their distance.

In response, Alex used a Sonic Disintegrator Boombox to cancel out both sets of sound waves.

"I've got some payback in mind for what you tried to do to me, Sebastian," Alex retorted.

"Same here," Nick responded, his psychic aura flaring to life around him. "I was already rattled by what I saw in that place and you just went and made it worse!"

"Well, sorry, but we've got other matters to attend to, so..." Phil chuckled, not noticing Elphelt and Ramlethal slipping behind the two villains and shoving them towards Nick and Alex.

"They're all yours," Ramlethal stated.

"Mess 'em up good, you two!" Elphelt proclaimed.

"Oh, we definitely plan on doing that," Nick chuckled.

Nick and Alex lunged forward, each grabbing a baddie by the shoulder and slamming them both into each other, dazing them long enough for Nick to telekinetically lift both villains into the air. Alex took off into the air via her Jetpack Backpack so she could go on the attack, charging back and forth and striking at Phil and Sebastian at every pass.

Eventually, Alex flew above the two villains and drop-kicked them to the ground, and before they could bounce, Nick fired a Final Shine Attack that sent both villains flying into the opposite wall.

"How was that for a combination attack?" Alex chuckled.

"Not too shabby, if you ask me," Nick quipped as he and Alex high-fived each other.

"You forget that I still have these," Phil taunted as he brought out another glowing CD, only for Nick to shoot it out of his hands.

"And now you don't," Nick retorted. "What a waste of good money."

"We still have some backup," Sebastian laughed as he and Phil retreated, leaving a small platoon of hypnotized fans to fight in their stead.

"Oh, this might take a bit," Mat groaned.

"Not necessarily," RiCO responded from Nick's X-Powder. "Jerry and I finished the antidote for their hypnotic nonsense, so just aim your X-Powder towards them and we'll do the rest!"

Nick raised his X-Powder towards the hypnotized fans just as they advanced, and a bright flash of blue light erupted from the X-Powder screen, covering the fans for a second or two before it faded, causing them all to glance around in confusion.

"I'll herd them to the exit so they can get out of this place," Blaine stated. "You all just keep going after those two."

As Blaine led the un-hypnotized fans out of the lair, the rest of the spies continued searching through the area for any sign of their villains.

As they rounded a corner, though, another Quantum Rift opened up in front of them, though they were able to stop in front of it so nobody could fall into it.

"Again?" Nick quipped, stepping closer to the rift so he could take a look inside it. Sure enough, that strange void full of crystal formations was on the other side of the rift.

"...whoa, that's weird," May admitted. "It looks like that's all that's left of that dimension."

"That's the impression I got," Nick responded. "And I'm starting to think that whatever might have happened to this dimension is why that other Alex is so mad at what I can only assume is that dimension's me."

"But you would never destroy even a building, much less a whole dimension, right?" Haruka wondered.

"True, but let's not forget about the Shadow, or whatever that Monarch guy was in that casino dimension you found yourself in a while back," Nick quipped. "I'm sure there's at least a few dimensions out there in the multiverse where I'm the bad guy for whatever reason."

Suddenly, the Other Alex floated by the rift and turned her attention to Nick, her rage palpable. Thankfully, the rift closed itself up before she could get anywhere near them.

"...okay, that was kinda scary," Alex admitted. "She looked really angry, and I don't mean just mad, like, uber-cheesed off."

"And yet we still don't know what the hell happened in there," Bridget quipped.

"I have a feeling we'll learn that soon enough, given our track record with other-dimensional adventures," Britney stated.

"We'll cross that bridge when we come to it," May quipped. "Right now, let's keep looking for those two nutballs, shall we?"

"Actually, I don't think we need to worry about that," Nick responded, pointing to just around the nearby corner. "They're back for more."

"Sorry we had to keep you waiting, spies," Sebastian laughed. "We just had to get a few things ready."

"Don't start acting smug about yourselves," Haruka retorted. "Remember when you tried to use one of the largest giant robots we've ever faced, and that didn't work? We literally took down a hundred-story tall giant robot, long story, so don't think they intimidate us anymore!"

"Oh, we've got something much different than a giant robot in store," Phil chuckled. "After all, one can only abuse rule sixty-one so far, right?"

"But you won't be able to see our plan come to fruition," Sebastian laughed. "Because you'll be taken care of soon enough."

"Ooh, them's fightin' words," Dawn quipped as the spies all advanced.

"Fightin' words... don't you mean 'telling it like it is', girlie?!" Sebastian sneered.

"It's not 'telling it like it is' if you can't back up your word!" Mat retorted.

"We have the faith to back it up!" Phil exclaimed.

"And we have the authority to beat you again!" Nick added.

"And believe us when Mat said we can 'back up our word,' too!" Melissa quipped.

None of the spies dared to challenge Melissa on what she just said because she and Mat are an item.

Instead, Sebastian and Phil snapped their fingers to unleash yet another mob of hypnotized people to stall the spies.

"Trying something that failed already?" Clover retorted, slightly amused. "Not surprised..."

"Be on alert, guys," Sam stated as Phil and Sebastian sinisterly walked away, confident the mob would be too much for the spies to handle.

"I already know this is a decoy," Haruka pointed out.

"Then let's handle this quickly," Bridget quipped. "Sonic Mode, online!"

As the mob approached, Bridget sped off, running circles around the mob to keep them in one place so that Nick could fly up into the air, then down into the "eye of the storm" and throw out a psychic pulse that snapped everyone out of their hypnosis.

"That turned out to be pretty easy," Britney commented.

"Don't speak too soon, Brit," Alex quipped.

"Something tells me this is where they put their trump card into play," Sam deduced.

"I think you're right, Sam," Bridget deduced.

"For once, you actually are," Sebastian laughed as he and Phil showed up in a robotic exo-suit covered with loudspeakers and other various concert-style equipment.

"What the heck did they barf up this time?!" Elphelt gasped.

"That's pretty common with our baddies," Nick chuckled. "Rules for villains, number sixty-one: if all else fails, use a giant robot."

"No matter," Clover told the others. "We can still fight fire with fire!"

"My thoughts exactly," Bridget remarked as she started speeding in every direction.

"Guys, we need a plan ourselves!" May told the others.

"Here's the plan," Phil taunted. "You all can just die already!"

The Sinister Concerto marched towards the spies, blasting booming sound waves from the loudspeakers across its chassis to keep the spies from advancing any further.

"Is that really all you've got?!" Nozomi taunted.

"Shouldn't have opened your mouth, you little punk," Sebastian chuckled as the Sinister Concerto aimed its arms towards Nozomi, its hands unfolding to reveal two trumpet-shaped laser cannons.

Nick quickly raised his hand to project a psychic bubble around Nozomi to deflect the laser shots, but when the Sinister Concerto actually marched forward and slammed its fists down onto the bubble, it reeled back, and Nick snapped his fingers to pop the bubble, the outward recoil blast damaging the Sinister Concerto.

"It's like you didn't learn from the last time you tried that," Nick retorted.

"Well, we did learn something else," Phil answered as the Sinister Concerto threw a bunch of drone-like objects out to surround the spies.

Eventually, the drones unfolded to reveal loudspeakers.

"...ooh, boy," Alex gulped.

"When are you going to get it through your thick skulls that we're not gonna submit to you freaks?!" May exclaimed as she threw her anchor like a javelin to smash one of the loudspeaker drones, with Nick telekinetically guiding it around to smash the other ones as well before they could deafen the spies.

Mat threw a pair of Electric Snare Bolas to ensnare the Sinister Concerto and restrain it.

"I think that's your chance, everybody!" Mat exclaimed. "How about you all get to blowing this thing up?"

"I like the way you think, honey," Sam chuckled. "Let's put 'em together!"

Sam started first, producing an Electromagnetic Curling Iron and tossing it to Nick. Alex followed up with a Laser Lipstick and a Cyclone Blast Hairdryer. Nick connected the Laser Lipstick right above the barrel of the Electromagnetic Curling Iron, and the Cyclone Blast Hairdryer on top of the ECM, just behind the control panel. Clover finished by throwing Nick a Helicopter Hand Fan and a pair of wings from a spare Jetpack Backpack. Nick attached the Helicopter Hand Fan to the underside of the ECM's barrel, then placed the wings on either side of the ECM.

The combination weapon now complete, Sam, Alex, and Clover joined Nick to hold the weapon, Sam and Alex holding the jetpack wings, Clover grasping the side handle and Nick holding the main handle, his finger on the firing trigger.

"Okay, now that's cool," Elphelt giggled.

"Glad you like it," Alex chuckled. "Now just watch what it does."

"Let's blast this bot!" Nick exclaimed.

"FIRE!" the four of them shouted together as Nick pulled the firing trigger.

The blades of the Helicopter Hand Fan extended outward and started spinning rapidly. Nick pulled the trigger again, and the Electromagnetic Curling Iron, the Laser Lipstick, and the Cyclone Blast Hairdryer all fired their payload into the spinning blades. Two seconds later, the Vortex Blaster unleashed a massive four-way blast consisting of a large electromagnetic beam surrounded by a spiraling wind blast and a barrage of laser bolts.

The blast screamed through the air before colliding with the Sinister Concerto and exploding violently, eviscerating the machine and forcing Phil and Sebastian to eject so they didn't get caught up in the explosion.

"Welp, that's another trump card busted, and in record time, too," May taunted. "Anything to say for yourselves?"

"...oh, who said we were done?" Sebastian cackled.

"We have more extravagant things than just that to show you," Phil quipped before throwing down a flashbang to disguise their escape.

"Have I mentioned that I really freakin' hate when they do that?!" Britney exclaimed.

"Any idea where they're headed, RiCO?" Nick asked.

"I'm tracking them now," RiCO answered from Nick's X-Powder. "According to my scanners, they're heading towards Venice Beach."

"...wait a minute, isn't that where they're setting up for my next show?" Elphelt gasped. "Oh my god, he's going after my audience!"

"Ugh, they would," Haruka groaned.

"Well, then, let's get out of this place and put a stop to that, shall we?" Melissa proclaimed.

"I've got a Skyskimmer waiting for you outside, and Blaine will meet you on the way there," RiCO stated.

With that, the spies all shuffled out of the lair in order to stop Sebastian and Phil from wrecking Elphelt's concert.

To be concluded...

Next time...

Melissa: Any sign of our resident baddies?

Mat: Nothing yet. I just hope they didn't pull a fast one on us...

Nick: Wait, wait, I think I sense them, and they're approaching fast.

Alex: What the hell are they riding?!

Haruka: Well, whatever it is, we're gonna put a stop to it.

Sebastian: ...are they ignoring us?!

Nick: Eyes on the prize, you washouts. El, Ram, you just focus on your song! We'll handle these nutcases!

Phil: Get back here, you punks!

Blaine: You'll have to catch us first!

Bridget: Last sound check, you two, your shoddy stage is going down!

Sebastian: Oh, we'll see about that!

May: Let's do this, everyone, next time on the final act of Totally Spies: Dreamy Revelator, "Passionate Encore"! Oh, please tell me there's a copy of that final battle theme somewhere around this set I can listen to...

Ramlethal: It should be on our album. There's a copy in the break room.

May: SWEET!
