Hey guys and gals, welcome back to MHA: The value of a thief and this time around it's the aftermath of Kamoshida's change of heart.
That also means we'll be going to meet Iwai and see more of Sae's scenes from the game as well as an original scene with Yoshizawa, along with Ren and Midoriya first meeting.
Though these chapters might slow down a bit, I'm glad you guys are liking this story and I'm still surprised just how easy it is for me to write chapters for this story.
But I have other chapters I need to work on, so after this chapter I'll try and take a break from it, but we'll see.
Anyway with that said, let's get this started.
Shujin Academy
Third person P.O.V.
The days of waiting for Kamoshida's change of heart to be revealed to them spun by, with Ren continuing to help out his friends with training and talks while continuing his studies.
This finally came ahead at the start of the next month where the school had called for a morning assembly, which we see now as all the students stood in the gym.
Principal Koabyakawa walked up to the podium and looked down at the students in front of him "I'm sure you are all still shaken up by the tragic event that took place the other day, we have been informed that the girl is in a stable condition and is on the road to a full recovery."
"Tch, you could at least say her name," Ryuji scoffed, crossing her arms as murmurs came from the crowd.
"Yeah this does seem more like formality…" Ren sighed, as he rubbed his head while looking over at Ann with a sad expression.
"Alright, settle down everyone." The principal called out, "While I'm sure you're all thrilled about this news. I want to remind you all that, you have bright futures and-"
The teacher was soon interrupted by a loud bang suddenly echoing through the room, causing everyone to turn back to see Kamoshida enter, his head hanging low. "M-Mr Kamoshida?"
"I… I have been reborn…That is why…I will confess all of my sins"
Kamoshida seemed completely different then before, instead of his aura of disgusting confidence, he now seemed far more apologetic and defeated as he walked towards the stage.
"W-What's going on…is this…" Ryuji muttered, with widened eyes and Ren had the same expression.
"I… I have repeatedly done things… Unbecoming of a teacher. And… I wish to confess them all…" Kamoshida trailed off, finally opening his eyes which were full of regret and despair.
"I… I have been verbally and physically abusive to all of my students, forcing them to battle each other and punishing the losers all for my entertainment … I… I have also sexually assaulted many female students…I am the reason Shiho Suzui tried to kill herself" he revealed, causing the students to gasp.
"I-I thought it was the transfer student?!" "It was Kamoshida all along!" "This can't be real?! Can it?."
Kamoshida fell to his knees with tears welling up in his eyes as he looked at the students ``I thought of this school as my own castle…my way of getting back my glory after I lost my place of number 1 to All Might…I… I even leaked the record of the transfer student, making it sound so much worse than it was… A-And tried to get him and another student expelled simply because I didn't want him taking away my attention…I even tried to blame him for the horrible act I did to Suzui and even blackmailed my other students to assault him! Of course I will rescind all of this!."
"S-So all of this stuff about the transfer student…" "H-He does have a record..but…" "Oh my god! I can't believe I looked up to him!."
"I am truly sorry…for putting innocent youths through such horrible acts…using their dreams as leverage to do whatever I wanted…I am an arrogant, shameful and pathetic person! No, I'm worse than that! I am a monster!" Kamoshida yelled, before slamming his head to the ground.
"I… I will make amends and kill myself for all of this!."
Everyone gasped as the teachers tried to calm them down with Kobayakawa running up to Kamoshida "Mr Kamoshida! P-Please! Get off the stage!."
"No! I deserve this! They need to hear everything I've done before I kill-""DON'T YOU DARE RUN FROM THIS YOU SON OF A BITCH!."
All eyes turned to Ann who had a furious expression on her face "Shiho is still alive! Even after everything you did to her she's still standing! You have no right to run from all the pain you caused! To everyone!"
"T-Takamaki…" Kamoshida looked upward, tears streaming down his face as he nodded "Y-You're absolutely right… I-I should be punished under the full extent of the law."
"I did horrible things to Takamaki as well…in order to keep Suzui's spot in the Hero Licensing exam…I tried to force her into having relations…and when she refused…that's when I moved to Suzui as well!" he cried out.
As Kamoshida continued speaking, more and more students began to speak up, muttering in surprise or sharing their own experiences under Kamoshida's rule, all while the teachers were trying and failing to keep the order.
"As… As of today, I resign from my position and will turn myself in…" Kamoshida then stood up and frantically looked around the room with a desperate expression, "P-Please! Someone call the police!"
"Wow" Ryuji muttered, looking up at him with a look of shock.
"It…it actually worked…" Ren gulped, as he looked down and took everything in.
After a while the commotion had finally calmed down as the teachers went to take Kamoshida away to be spoken to.
This left the three thieves to themselves as they took in what just happened, with Ann being the first to speak up "His heart…it really changed."
"Yeah, it seems like it…" Ryuji sighed, rubbing his head before looking over at Ren "But…was this really worth it."
"I mean he would have just kept on doing this stuff if we hadn't stepped in, heck it would have gotten worse after he had black mailed All Might '' Ren muttered, crossing his arms.
"Yeah you gotta be…guess just kinda surprised how fast everything was" Ryuji groaned "Then again, I guess it did take him two weeks to come to the decision."
"Takamaki-san! Amamiya-kun! I'm so sorry!" They heard before looking over at Mishima bowing to them.
"Kamoshida was the one who made me do his dirty work, spreading Amamiya-kun's record…sending Shiho over to him…" Mishima shivered at the last part and frowned "I had a feeling…no I knew what was going to happen…but I didn't do anything"
"N-No, i-it's not" Ann tried to say before two more students walked.
"Takamkai-san, I had you all wrong… I'm sorry that I spread rumours about you!" Another female student said, walking up to Ann.
"I didn't know at all…to think that bastard was pushing himself on you…and you couldn't do anything…it must've been so hard" The other student frowned.
"There's a ton of people who want to apologise to you, we're so sorry!" The first girl apologised.
"N-No it's okay, it's partly my fault too…It's all in the past now anyway" Ann dismissed them, before more students walked up.
"Amamiya-kun! Thank you!" The hero student who attacked Ren stated as they walked up to them, surprising Ren.
"If you hadn't shot that signal flare…we would have been placed in the same situation you're in right now" One student sighed.
"We're so sorry for attacking you, you were right there was something fishy about his story…but his dirt on us, it would have ruined our dreams of becoming heroes" Another student frowned.
"You were already dealing with everyone's bullshit and then we had to attack you…you're more of a hero then any of us" The third student but Ren waved it off.
"Hey come on, anyone would have done the same if they were in your position, it's not your fault" Ren explained.
"Hey! What are you doing! Get back to class!" A teacher yelled, surprising the students.
"Ah, w-well catch you later Takamaki" One of the students waved, as they started heading towards class.
However Mishima didn't as he looked over at Ren with a serious look "I really am sorry for what I did to you, I promise I'm going to make this right, somehow."
"Well, looks like Kamoshida ain't the only one having a change of heart" Ryuji smiled, crossing his arms.
"Maybe those weird rumours will finally go away" Ren wondered, while rubbing his head but Ann sighed.
"My thing doesn't really matter, we made Kamoshida apologise about Shiho and got us off his radar, that's more than enough for me" Ann sighed, before Ren smiled
"Then you should go and tell her about it" Ren smiled, with Ryuji nodding "Hell yeah! If she's in a better condition, who knows she might even be awake."
"Yeah good idea" Ann nodded, before looking at the two boys "Thanks…for everything."
Ren nodded while looking at the smiling Ann before everything froze, and the scene moved along in fast forward, moving faster and faster until the scene changed back into the interrogation room.
In front of him was Sae, as she leaned back inside taking in the information she had taken.
"So after finding what happened to the student who jumped off the building eight months ago that's when you decided to perform your first change of heart, and unlike many assumed, you did inform a hero, All Might no less, for assistance but he ended up getting black mailed" Sae repeated, while crossing her arms.
"Hmm that all seems a bit coincidental, but there was a report of All Might being seen the day the first calling card was posted at Shujin…and you also knew about All Might's weakening power and even his real name, which isn't even revealed to the public" Sae noted, as Ren smirked.
"Starting to believe me now?"
"Don't get ahead of yourself, just because your matches with the facts we know doesn't mean you aren't still lying…it could still be that you deduced All Might's true identity through hacking" Sae stated, before smirking "However there were two important details that came to light."
"The two other accomplices aside from the person with a Cat Quirk, Skull and Panther as you call them, from what you've been telling me they are most likely students as well correct?" Sae asked, but Ren just stayed silent.
"Very well, let's move on" Sae sighed, as she reached for the next file "The questions are not over anyway, if you really are lying the cracks in your story will show soon enough."
"Hmm good thing there won't be any cracks" Ren smirked, as Sae rolle her eyes.
"The next individual to receive a calling card was this person, Ichiryuae Madarame, a master of Japanese Arts," Sae said, as she held up a picture.
The Madarame in question was an elderly man with long grey hair tied in a ponytail and he has short facial hair. He was also wearing traditional Japanese clothes.
"It's even more incomprehensible than Kamoshida as to why this man was targeted from first glance and how you were able to figure out his true crimes utilising his Quirk when no hero or the police was able to figure it out" Sae stated, while Ren frowned.
"How did you come to know him? And how did you learn about his crimes when you weren't a victim of his, we can start with what you did after Kamoshida's confession" Sae suggested, as the scene flashed.

In the middle of the city we see a gigantic statue of the number 1 hero All Might, however on his chest was a spray painted logo of a top hat and mask with flame coming out the eyes.
YEAH! YEAH! OW!
We then see a blur zoom past the statue, with the camera barely following its movements.
It's your haze of delusion versus reality
We see Joker running from rooftop to rooftop, with a light shining on him as several helicopters chased after him
Just keep stirring the pot to find your individuality
Arsene then flew up behind him before Joker jumped off the rooftop and grabbed his partner's Chain to help him fly.
Delete another problem that is plaguing your mind
We next see Skull running down the highway as several police cars chased after him, a wild grin on his face as he ran
From day to day! To end to end! That's entertainment of our lives
Captain kidd then sailed up and caught Skull as he cheered into the night sky, as face of pure joy behind him
BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! Dancing through the skies
Several paint marks were slashed at the walls, as we see Fox painting everything in the alleyway around him
Let's celebrate our time, and party while we're still alive
He then spun around as Goemon showed and blew his smoke allowing the paint to glow revealing he had painted different hero posters and stop signs.
BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! Dancing through the skies
Panther then jumped down onto some train tracks and began dancing, as she began spinning around like a Ballerina
Kick your worries to the side and aim up to the sky.
Carmine then appeared behind her, and below a flaming tornado that spun around her as she smiled up at the beauty.
EVERYBODY! Put your hands up!
We see Queen riding on Johana with Mona on her back, as the two of them drove up an elevator through a window.
We'll be flying~ Can you imagine it?
We see a large UFO flying above the city with Oracle inside, before she tapped a few commands into it
Search and you'll find the stage set within your dreams.
The UFO then began flashing several colours like a Disco Ball that lit up the entire city.
The place where you're the one
Down below we see Noir and Milady dancing like in a ball on Shibuya crossing before the two spun around.
That's where you're meant to be!
Noir then struck a pose as Milady revealed the variety of guns below her dress.
EVERYBODY!
We then see the Thieves falling through the sky towards a variety of statues of Pro Heroes.
Put your hands up!
We see both Panther and Mona aiming firing their guns at a statue of Ryukyu which crumbled into pieces.
We'll be flying!
Then Skull and Fox quickly moved past a large statue Edgeshot, cutting it in half.
Can you imagine it?
Next we see Queen and Noir crashing, punching the large statue of endeavour into pieces.
Search and you'll find the stage you set within your dreams
In the UFO we see Oracle typing in a few more codes with a grin on her face, before snapping her fingers causing her UFO to drop a huge bomb towards the All Might statue.

Joker then grinned as Arsene threw him towards the bomb which he shot with his pistol causing a huge explosion of colours.
FLYIN! Within these memories!
We see the whole team of Phantom Thieves cheering at the beautiful explosion they were witnessing.
FLYING! That you're slowly forgetting!
Joker smirked before he spun around and landed towards the ground as the train passed by him.
Just listen close to the song that lies within you~
Ren then gets up in his school uniform with Morgana in his bag, before he waved to us and walked back towards the crowd of people passing by.

Park
Third person P.O.V.
After school Ren and Ryuji hung out in town for a bit before getting a text from Ann to meet in the park
"Holy shit man! I can't believe it actually worked!" Ryuji grinned, as he, Ren and Morgana hung out on the school roof.
"What did I tell you! Worked like a charm!" Morgana smirked, giving the two a smug look.
"Says the not-cat who had no idea that we could make him have a change of heart wouldn't turn his brain to mush" Ren smirked, as Morgana turned to him.
"I'm not a not-ca- wait! I uh, dang it!" Morgana growled, making Ren and Ryuji snicker before they heard the door open.
"Do you guys have to be so loud, people are gonna find out eventually" Ann sighed, as she walked up to the boys.
"So how was Shiho?" Ren asked, as they looked at Ann with a concerned expression.
"Shiho woke up! It was only for a little bit but I got to talk to her!" She smiled excitedly "I got to tell her that Kamoshida admitted to what he did!"
"But Shiho…all she did was tell me how sorry she was…looks like she figured out I was flirting with Kamoshida for her sake and here I was wanting to apologise to her" Ann sighed, before Morgana walked up.
"Kamoshida's the one at fault here, for all of this" Morgana said, trying to console her with Ann nodding.
"I know…but her mom is thinking of transferring her to another school after all of this, somewhere outside the city…Inaba I think it was" Ann sighed, as Ren crossed his arms.
"Makes sense, probably wouldn't want her to be labelled as 'hey it's that one girl who jumped off the roof'" Ren jokingly said, before shaking his head "Bad joke I'm sorry."
"No you're right, but I guess I'm all alone now" Ann sighed, but Ryuji shook his head.
"What? Come on, you got us now and besides I've been to Inaba, it's only a few hours on train you can visit her anytime" Ryuji grinned, with Ann nodding.
"Anyway I was surprised you could hold yourself back with Kamoshida, especially after everything he's done" Ryuji said, with Morgana smirking.
"That's because unlike you, Lady Ann is a truly kind soul who thinks of other-" "Oh know, I just thought it was more satisfying then him dying if he'd have to face the consequence of what he's done…he's going to be grovelling for forgiveness for the rest of his life."
All three boys just stared at Ann with looks of both surprise and a tinge of fear "H-Holy shit" "Hot damn…."
"A-Anyway, there's something that was confusing me, why was Kamoshida the only one with the Palace thing?" Ryuji asked, but Morgana shook his head.
"Oh no, anyone can have a Palace it only depends on if they're desire has been distorted and even then it has to be especially distorted to have one" Morgana explained, while Ren leaned back.
"Anyone huh…"
"You guys wanna check it out? More of them, I know a place you guys will be shocked at" Morgana asked, but Ryuji gulped.
"M-Maybe later, we better lay low for now I'm already hearing rumours about it being us that caused his change of heart" Ryuji sighed, looking at Ren.
"Well anyone would think that after the explosive reaction he had back there" Ren noted, while scratching his cheek.
"Anyway, what are we gonna do with the medal?" Ann asked, before looking around "Where did you put it anyway?."
"I hid it in the clutter in my room, Sakura-san rarely goes up there so it should be safe" Ren explained.
"Oh we gotta sell it! I bet an actual hero medal will cost tons of money!" Ryuji grinned, as Morgana leapt up.
"I do know a place that might buy it off us, it's the place where I got" "Stole" " your weapons too" Morgana finished after Ren corrected him.
"Oooh! We gotta use it to go out to eat! There's this one buffet I've always wanted to go with Shiho" Ann grinned, as Ren crossed his arms.
"I also meant to sell some of the things we took from Kamoshida's Palace from the infiltration, I don't exactly have a lot of money outside of the cash we got from Shadow" Ren nodded.
"Does it have good fish! Like Fatty Tuna!" Morgana asked, with Ann nodding "Score!."
"I'd be down, we gotta go sometime soon…how about Children's day during golden week tomorrow?" Ryuji asked, crossing his arms.
"So thursday…sure I'd be down, I can go sell the medal too" Ren suggested, with the other two nodding before they left to hang out in the city for a bit.
The next day
Leblanc
Third person P.O.V.
"Hey Sakura-san, have you seen my wallet anywhere?" Ren asked, as he walked down the stairs.
"I think I saw a wallet somewhere around the seat, you off somewhere?" Sojiro asked, as Ren walked down the stairs in his casual clothes.
"Hmm? Ah yeah, just heading to Shibuya for a bit shouldn't take too long" Ren explained, looking over at Sojiro "I was helping a friend out with clearing his dad's friend's house and we found some stuff he said we could sell for some cash."
"Huh fair enough, just be back quick I'm gonna need your help today since it's Golden week" Sojira asked, as Ren nodded.
"Sure thing I'll try to be qui-" Ren agreed, before the door opened causing the two to look over to see Sae walking in.
"Am I interrupting something?" She asked, crossing her arms.
"Nothing he was just about to leave" Sojiro explained with Ren nodding before turning around to look for his wallet as the TV started playing.
"The cause of the runaway train incident in the subway the other day still has not been found, the Police are hurrying to solve the matter along with the Hero Association as it may relate to the rise of the Psychotic Breakdown Incidents."
"Psychotic Breakdown?" Ren blinked, with a look of confusion.
"Oh right you probably wouldn't have heard of it, a lot of people have been suddenly going crazy and causing a lot of damage. The last one happened right before you got here," Sojiro explained, as Sae joined in the conversation.
"Doesn't it make you curious? People living normal lives suddenly become deranged and violent out of the blue…and not even because of some outside influence like the Instant villain outbreak five years ago" Sae sighed, crossing her arms "Not to mention it's happening one after another…almost as if they're all connected…."
"Hmm, leaving that aside, what's your order?" Sojiro asked, while Sae looked at the menu.
"I'll have the house blend please…" Sae ordered, with Sojiro nodding, walking off to prepare the coffee.
"Aha! Found it!" Ren grinned, finally finding his wallet while standing up.
"Hmm?" Sae blinked looking over at Ren as he wiped off the dust from his trousers "Are you a part-timer? I'm surprised that this place could afford one."
"Oh! I uh well- ""His dads an old college friend of mine, he's staying with me so he can study in the city."
Ren looked at Sojiro, honestly surprised that he kept his probation under wraps, while Sae nodded.
"Ah a high school student I see, where do you attend, if I may ask" Sae asked, with a raised eyebrow.
"Oh uh, I'm going to Shujin Academy in its hero program," Ren explained, with Sae nodding.
"Shujin huh? My sister goes there too, I heard about what's been going on with Kamoshida…glad he didn't do anything to her" Sae admitted, before clutching her chin "Still a former hero suddenly changing the way he's been acting years and admitting all the wrongs he's done…all of a sudden as well…"
Gulping at that Ren rubbed his head as he thought of something to say "If it helps I heard a rumour that some old villain he had pissed off was going to attack him…he was even taken to U.A. right before he put himself under suspension."
"Ah so a former villain…but even with a Quirk can someone's mental state really be changed so easily…" Sae wondered, with a frown before she was met with the smell of coffee.
"Here you go, fresh house blend" Sojiro smirked, with Sae nodding while Ren took his chance to leave the cafe.
Shibuya
Third person P.O.V.
"Alright! This is the place" Morgana smirked, as Ren walked up towards a shop in the Back alleys of Shibuya called Untouchable which looked to be an airsoft shop as well as a pawn shop.
"Huh so this is where you got our gear" Ren said, crossing his arms with Morgana nodding.
"Yup, we might be able to get some other gear here if we ever need to change another heart" Morgana smirked, as Ren walked into the shop.
"Welcome" The owner said, as Ren looked over at him, he was a middle-aged man with short grey hair and grey-coloured eyes, faint noticeable stubble, sideburns and earrings. A tattoo of a grey-coloured gecko is on the left side of his neck near the back. He usually has a lollipop in his wears a grey pin-striped hat with yellow ear defenders, a black turtleneck sweater, a long grey coat with a red peace symbol on the left hem of his coat, simple blue jeans and black leather boots "You're new, don't look like the type to be into this stuff."
"I mean my Quirk is a gun so I could be interested, but that's not what I'm here for…this place doubles as a pawn shop right?" Ren asked, as the man nodded.
"Yeah, you got something you wanna sell?" He asked, as Ren pulled out the medal, surprising the man.
"That's…for the U.A. sports festival…you sure you wanna sell that?" He questioned, as Ren shrugged.
"Not mine, an acquaintance of a friend's dad said we could sell it since he ain't a hero anymore" Ren shrugged, as the man examined the medal.
"Definitely real…guess it's not the first time I've sold one of these" The owner said, before looking up "I can give you 30000 yen for it."
"Seriously, only that much? Thought it would have been more" Ren blinked, as the owner looked at him.
"You'd be surprised how often people like me get these, now are you gonna take it or-" The owner said, before spotting some suits outside the store "Actually, if you do something for me I'd be willing to double it."
"I'm listening…" Ren said, still uncertain as the man took out a paper bag holding something as well as the money.
"All I need you to do is take this and put it in your bag then bring it back next time you're around, easy enough?" He asked, as Ren looked at the bag.
"You should do it, more funds is always a good thing" Morgana said, as Ren shrugged.
"Alright but if it's something that'll get me in trouble I swear to god…" Ren shrugged, as he placed the paper bag in his bag next to Morgana.
"Quick on the uptake…I like that" he smirked, before noticing them move in "They're here, keep cool kid."
Two suited men then walked in as Iwai and Ren turned to them, one was in a brown suit and the other black.
"Munehisa Iwai, yes? There are some matters we'd like to discuss with you" The brown suited man said, crossing his arms.
"...go kid" he whispered, as Ren looked at him with a confused look before shrugging and heading to the door as the suited men walked up to Iwai.
"You know why we're here right?" The brown suited man asked, as Iwai smirked.
"Dunno, you out here looking for evidence?You tell me Mr. detective" Iwai asked, catching Ren's attention as he looked back.
"Watch your attitude bastard!" The black suited man growled, slamming his hand on the counter.
"Well you guys gonna search the store? Go on, do what you gotta do" He shrugged, crossing his arms surprising the detectives "What? An upstanding citizen like me is supposed to be cooperative with the police."
"Hey, are you sure the lead was legitimate?" The brown suited man asked, making the black suited man growl.
"I could have sworn it was…" he said, making Iwai snicker.
"Can you hurry it up? I got a business to run here" Iwai asked, making the detectives look down.
"Hey kid!" The black suited detective yelled, making Ren gulp "You've been here this whole time, what are you doing here? Anything suspicious."
"Uh not really, just selling some things and getting some training gear for my Quirk" Ren explained, causing the detective to raise an eyebrow "My Quirks like a gun, so practising with airsoft for my hero class just made sense to me."
"I can show it all to you from the security tapes if you'd like, I got nothing to hide" Iwai suggested, making the detective scoff.
"You're not getting away that easy! Show me the bag now" The Black suited detective yelled, reaching forward but Ren moved out of the way.
"I already told you, besides isn't this breaking some kind of law?" Ren questioned, making the Suited man growl while Iwai snickered.
"Hey! He's just a kid besides he's not who we're after" The brown suited detective said, making the black suit growl.
"That's right, maybe next time try not harassing my customers, see what happens" Iwai scoffed as the man looked down before Iwai looked over at Ren "Safe trip home kid."
Ren gave him a silent nod before leaving the building and turning the corner "So, what's in the bag Morgana."
"It's just another model gun, really detailed though, almost fooled me" Morgana explained, making Ren blink.
"Huh, well lucky break then" Ren nodded while rubbing his head "The others are gonna freak at this."
Ren then blinked as he saw a familiar redhead talking to someone as Ren couldn't help but grin and sneak up to her.
"BOO!" "EEEK!" Yoshizawa screamed, before spinning around only to be surprised "Senpai?!."
"Hey! Funny seeing you here Sumi" Ren grinned, while Yoshizawa smiled and playfully punched his arm.
"Senpai! I told you not to scare me like that! And what are you doing here?" Yoshizawa asked, making Ren grin.
"Hehe, I just had some business around here and was about to head back when I ran into you and your friend," Ren explained.
"Yoshizawa-san, who's this?" Yoshizawa's friend asked, who was the green haired student that Ren met when meeting Yoshizawa
"Oh right! Midoriya, this is the Senpai I was telling you about! The one from the Hero course" Yoshizawa explained, before turning back to Ren "Senpai, meet Izuku Midoriya."
"Ah! Nice to meet you!" Izuku grinned, quickly running up and shaking his hand "I heard about you from Yoshizawa-san! Is it true your Quirk suddenly changed out of nowhere! How did you do it! And how did you get those amazing skills from the relay!."
"Man this guy's really crazy about Quirks" Morgana sweatdropped, while laying in the bag.
"Uh, think you could step back a bit" Ren asked, making Izuku realise what he was doing.
"Ah! Um S-Sorry, I didn't mean to get all excited like that" Izuku apologised, quickly apologising.
"Sorry about him Senpai, Midoriya is a bit excitable when it comes to heroes" Yoshizawa explained, but Ren waved it off.
"Nah it's fine I get ya, so you're Sumi's UA friend huh?" Ren asked, making Izuku blink.
"Huh? Ah yeah, that's right" Izuku nodded "I'm glad to know Yoshiawa has some good friends like you, especially with the news from the school…I even heard they brought in a dangerous criminal on probation into the school."
When Izuku said that Ren and Yoshizawa couldn't help but look at each other and snicker which confused the UA student "What's up? Is it something I said?."
"Nah but I should probably introduce myself, I'm Ren Amamiya the dangerous criminal" Ren smirked, as Izuku looked at him shocked.
"EEEEEEEEEEHHHHHH?!" Izuku gasped, shocked, which caused Ren and Yoshizawa to laugh.
"We have a lot to explain huh? Do you wanna join us Senpai?" Yoshizawa asked, making Ren frown.
"Sorry I'd love to but I gotta help out my guardian back in my place" Ren apologised which made Yoshizawa frown.
"Oh…that's too bad…" Yoshizawa said with a saddened expression before shaking her head "Well we'll just go out ourselves, right Midoriya?."
"Wait, you guys are going to lunch?" Ren asked, as the two nodded "You guys want curry?."
A few minutes later
Leblanc
Third person P.O.V.
"SOOOOOOOOO GOOOOOOOOODDDDDD!" Both Yoshizawa and Izuku cheered, as they ate the Leblanc curry.
"Heh told you it was good" Ren grinned, as he cleaned some of the dishes.
"Dang kid, I was gonna chew you out for taking so long but it seems you brought some really hungry customers," Sojiro laughed, as he prepared their third plate.
"I can't believe the curry and coffee go so well together…and it's so cheap too! I definitely gotta bring my friends over here some time" Izuku smiled, as he tried some of the coffee.
"Yeah definitely! My dad would love this place, I definitely gotta tell him about this place" Yoshizawa agreed with an excitable grin.
Ren couldn't help but chuckle about how excited they were about the curry before he heard the sound of a phone call as Sojiro finished setting the curry.
Checking his phone Sojiro sighed before a soft smile grew on his face as looked over at Ren "Hey I got some stuff to take care of, mind watching the place while I'm gone."
"Sure thing, I don't mind," Ren shrugged, as he took the plates and gave them to the two customers while taking away their dirty dishes to be cleaned.
"I'm sorry for my reaction back there Amamiya-kun, I shouldn't have jumped to conclusions like that" Izuku admitted, as Ren shrugged.
"Meh, I'm used to it. Besides, Shujin doesn't exactly have the best public opinion right now," Ren shrugged while working on the dishes.
"Still I can't believe the former number 1 hero did all of that stuff, he didn't do anything to you did he Yoshizawa?" Izuku asked, with a worried look.
"Don't worry, we only met once and all he did was try and convince me to hate Senpai" Yoshizawa sighed as she thought back to that day.
"Yeah I was kind of his punching bag, he spread my record to the school and tried convincing everyone that the reason Shiho jumped was because of me," Ren admitted.
"I can't believe a hero could do something like that" Izuku frowned, with a look of sadness.
"Don't forget that just because he's a hero doesn't mean he isn't still human, he was jealous of All Might for taking his spotlight and was worried I was going to do the same so he got desperate" Ren said, as Izuku nodded.
"Yeah you're right, I shouldn't forget anyone could fall like he did" Izuku nodded, with a soft smile.
"I have to ask though Senpai" Yoshizawa asked, looking over at Ren "Those calling cards, were those your doing? You did say you were going to do something."
"Calling cards?" Izuku blinked, as Yoshizawa nodded. "Yeah, before Kamoshida went on suspension a bunch of calling cards were posted detailing his crimes and said they were going to make him confess."
Ren was silent for a moment as he looked down at Morgana who shook his head making Ren sigh "Nah it wasn't me, I had actually tried bringing someone from UA to tell the Principal everything, but he was blackmailed into not doing it…I had recorded the conversation too since I followed Kamoshida."
"Really? From UA, who was it" Izuku asked, a look of curiosity on his face while Ren looked away.
'I probably shouldn't mention the whole All Might thing…' Ren thought, before looking over at Izuku "No one special, just some skinny teacher with long blonde hai-" "EH?!."
Both Ren and Yoshizawa blinked as they looked at Izuku who blushed "Ah um, sorry don't mind me."
"Right…" Ren nodded, before hearing a phone call prompting him to turn to Yoshizawa.
"Ah sorry, that's my dad…I'll just be outside for a sec" Yoshizawa apologised, as she left the cafe.
An awkward silence was present in the room as Ren cleaned the dishes while Izuku sipped his coffee.
However as he worked, Ren couldn't help but remember something about Izuku.
"Yeah, I was surprised too. I've never heard of anyone suddenly developing a Quirk like that."
"Oh that one I can answer, they'd develop a brand new Quirk!"
"Hey Midoriya I've been meaning to ask you something…" Ren mentioned, as Izuku perked up "Hmm, yeah?".
"Yoshizawa mentioned that you suddenly got a Quirk out of nowhere and that's how you got into UA, how exactly did you do that" Ren asked, causing Izuku to tense up.
"Wait! Are you saying he could have gotten a Persona" Morgana asked, with widened eyes while Ren smirked.
"Oh! W-Well you know, i-it was a big s-surprise for me too. I just suddenly h-had it-""Midoriya, I know".
"Huh?" Midoriya blinked with honest shock and surprise "W-Wait, you know about it!".
"That's right, I know you have a Persona" "You know about One for All!" "I'm sorry, One for- what now?"
The two boys just stared at each other with surprised and confused eyes…before they started sweating heavily.
"You messed up…" Morgana groaned, leaning his head against the counter.
"W-What's a Persona?" Izuku asked, which caused Ren to gulp.
"W-What's One for All?" Ren shot back, which caused Izuku to do the same.
"Okay look" Ren finally broke the silence as Izuku looked up at him "Clearly, we both just fucked up so I'm willing to make a deal if you are?"
"O-Okay…w-what is it?" Izuku asked, looking a little worried.
"You don't say anything about my thing and I won't say anything about your thing, then we both just pretend this conversation never happened…deal?"
Izuku thought it over for a moment before he nodded "Deal."
The two concluded this with a handshake and a nod before they went back to their business.
"Um, actually Ren, there was something I wanted to ask…about Yoshizawa-san" Midoriya said, as Ren looked back at her with a raised eyebrow.
"What's up?"
"Um…have you noticed anything off…about Yoshizawa-san?" Izuku asked, as Ren raised an eyebrow.
"Off…what do you mean?" Ren asked, as Izuku looked down.
"It's just that…she's been acting…different…ever since…" Izuku went silent for a moment before he shook his head "No never mind, I shouldn't put this one on you".
Ren raised an eyebrow at that and was about to say something when the door then opened up as Yoshizawa walked in with an apologetic look "Sorry that took so long".
"Everything okay, Sumi?" Ren wondered, as Yoshizawa sighed.
"Not really, it was my dad… he asked if I could come home now since it's starting to get late" she explained, while reaching for the bag "Sorry about that Senpai".
"Nah it's fine, he's just worried about you" Ren smiled, before Izuku stood up too.
"I should go home too before my mom get's worried" Izuku nodded, before the two quickly paid and left.
"Jeez that was an ordeal" Morgana sighed, as he walked up to Ren "You just had to ask him huh".
"I really thought he had a Persona alright, jeez beat me up more why don't ya" Ren groaned and rolled his eyes.
As this was happening we switched to inside of Ren's heart or the Thieves den, where the Persona's had just seen this happen.
"So that's what happened to me…" Shadow Sumire muttered, before looking down "I'm just like Kasumi…".
"Sumire…" Arsene muttered, before hearing the sound of sniffling.
"I guess this really is for the best…all I ever wanted was to be like her after all…" Shadow Sumire stated, as she gripped her chest "Maybe it would really be for the best…if I'm gone…".
"DON'T SAY THAT!"
Shadow Sumire blinked before looking up as Arsene gripped her shoulder "Don't ever say that! Sumire!".
"Arsene…" Shadow Sumire muttered, looking into the serious expression of the Persona.
"I may not know what happened to your real self…but that doesn't mean you should just throw yourself away" Arsene stated "All this is…is her and you… running away…running away from whatever happened".
"The fact you still exist, right here and right now…it just means that there's still a part of you that doesn't want this" Arsene said, turning around while Shadow Sumire gripped her chest.
"Whatever happened to you…I promise we're going to figure this out and bring you back to where you belong…alright" Arsene asked, as Shadow Sumire slowly nodded.
"You're right…thank you" Shadow Sumire nodded, but the frown was still on her face.
And done, woo boy, that was a very quick and fun chapter to work on especially since I got to do a bit with Izuku.
I was originally planning on doing the buffet scene as well, but I decided to wait on that for the next chapter along with Mementos since it just made more sense.
But yeah what did you guys think of this chapter and what I did with Izuku, I also hinted at some of the changes I'm doing for Madarame so hope you spotted that.

Yup you pretty much got it right on the money once again though the "Thank you" Isn't just because Kasumi didn't believe the rumours.
Morgana does have a Quirk but it's not that, you'll find out next chapter
And yeah glad you like the way I did the confidants, I'm still planning on how I'm going to incorporate the confidants and about Ren's father it isn't a misunderstanding, he did something which Ren is still angry about.
