It had been a whole day since the evil sorceress Daja had Mickey Mouse and Cy-Cass thrown and trapped in Sid Yen's dungeon. They tried all they could in their power to escape the place, with Cy-Cass trying to repair her cyber-parts and Mickey trying to look for any hidden magical objects in their dungeon cell or use every word he could remember in the secret sorcerer's language that only he, Sid Yen and the very few people that knew it. Despite their very best efforts, they all failed. Even though they weren't physically chained and shackled, they felt like they were emotionally and they felt like complete failures because they couldn't escape their cell and stop Daja and her Electricity Army and turn Mickey's girlfriend Minnie back into the beautiful, smart and kind mouse she was. She was now the leader of Daja's army and she was leading them to attack the world on the sorceress's orders. And Mickey also worried about his best friend, his dog Pluto. He hoped that he was all right and he also hoped Minnie's pets Figaro and Fifi were all right too. He and Cy-Cass were so depressed that they couldn't eat or drink to save their own lives, even if Daja's Electricity Soldiers that guarded their cell on the outside gave them any food and water for them, which they never did anyway.
Then Mickey and Cy-Cass saw the magic door open and an Electricity Soldier running in and holding a creature in each hand.
"More friends for you," the Electricity Soldier said, dropping them to the ground. "Now, there had better be no trouble at all from either of you four or, by Lady Daja's orders, I shall be forced to make your new home here worse than it already is. So, behave now!" Then he went through the magic door and it vanished behind him.
Mickey and Cy-Cass approached their new cellmates to help them up.
"Are you guys okay?" Mickey asked. After he and Cy-Cass helped them up and looked at them, his face immediately beamed up. "Oswald! Ortensia!"
"Mickey!" cried Oswald the Lucky Rabbit.
"Mickey!" cried Ortensia the Cat.
"What are you doing here? How did you –"
When the three of them realized that they were asking each other the same question at the same time, they just laughed as they hugged.
"Are these guys friends of yours, Mickey?" Cy-Cass asked.
"Yeah, Cy-Cass," Mickey said. "Some of my oldest friends, actually. This is Oswald and Ortensia."
"And who is your new friend, Mickey?" Oswald asked.
"This is Cyber-Cassandra," Mickey said. "Or Cy-Cass, as I call her. She's half Cassandra bird, half cyborg."
"And how did you guys end up in here?" Oswald asked.
"It's a long story, so let's sit down before we tell you it."
After everyone sat down, Mickey told Oswald and Ortensia the whole story. He started with with getting fired at the birthday party factory and all his friends in Mouseton getting fired from their jobs due to the recession and then Mickey took his girlfriend Minnie, his dog Pluto, and Minnie's cat Figaro and dog Fifi on a picnic in Mouseton Park and then he and Minnie got taken away and from each other. Then Mickey explained how he found himself in a cell in a factory that took people and turned them into Electricity Monsters and that was where he met Cy-Cass and they managed to escape and then they went to save Minnie from another factory, but they failed. She was turned into a giant golden robot and she was now the leader of Lady Daja's Electricity Army and was leading them to take over the world on Daja's orders. Then Mickey explained that he and Cy-Cass came to Mount Potentia to see if they could find Sid Yen or his hat as it was the only hope that they had of ever stopping Daja and her army. They managed to find the hat, but sadly so did Daja, Minnie and the Electricity Army. Mickey and Cy-Cass tried their best to leave the mountain with the hat, but Daja managed to disable Cy-Cass's cyber abilities and Mickey felt that he had no choice but to surrender. Then they were thrown into the cell they had been in for the last twenty-four hours and they had been doing nothing but try to escape it with no success.
"How tragic!" Ortensia cried. "Poor Minnie!"
"Oh, my gosh!" Oswald cried. "We're so sorry for what happened to you, Cy-Cass and Minnie."
"If only we could get out of here, we could help her," Mickey said.
"Now, we told you guys our story," Cy-Cass said, "how about you tell us yours? How did you guys got in here?"
"Well, we were thrown into the cell by those robot monsters," Oswald replied. "You saw that."
"Okay." Cy-Cass didn't know if Oswald was being grumpy or trying to be funny, but she did her very hardest to not react to what he said. "And before that?"
Then Oswald and Ortensia explained their story. They were on a two-week vacation and, as it was a lovely sunny day today, they decided to go hiking in the Mountains of Validus. They enjoyed hiking in them and seeing the wonders of nature. Then they bumped into strange creatures, which they didn't knew then that they were Electricity Soldiers. They tried to run, but they only got captured by them and were brought into this cell.
"Oh, dear," Mickey said. "I'm so sorry that happened to you guys."
"And we don't know why," Oswald said. "What did we ever do to them?"
"How about the one we bumped into?" Ortensia asked.
"It's not what you did to them," Cy-Cass said. "It's how you can be helpful to them."
"And how can we be helpful to them?" Oswald asked.
"By becoming an Electricity Soldier to serve Daja and help her take over the world," Cy-Cass replied. "That's all she ever wants and cares about. So, the sooner we get out of this place, the sooner we can stop Daja and rescue Minnie."
"Well, what are we waiting for?" Oswald asked. "Come on, Ortensia. Let's see if we can get out of here."
"Okay."
They did their very best to get out of the cell, such as Oswald taking off his rabbit ears to try to see what they could do and Ortensia pretending to be ill to trick the guards into coming in here, but they were no more successful than Mickey and Cy-Cass were. Oswald felt like he was the unluckiest rabbit in the world and Ortensia felt trapped and useless as much as her friends did.
