It didn't take long before Skyfire and Ironhide brought the two passed out bots to the area that passed as a med bay for the earthbound Autobot base. Ratchet turned around. "Where did these two come from?" Ratchet asked, stunned at how bad the bots looked.

"They just appeared out of nowhere. I caught them as they were falling towards the ground. The way you see them is the way I found them" Skyfire answered.

"They both look like they have seen better days" Hide added.

Ratchet scanned and was stunned that both were still very much online. "We have to get working on them, pronto" Ratchet suddenly added.

"Why is that?" Hide asked, getting a weird feeling about what Ratchet was going to say.

"Both are still online! They shouldn't be. Not with this much damage. We must repair them. If my scan is correct, both are Autobots!" Ratchet replied, his voice loud and urgent sounding.

"Well, that answers my question" Ironhide added, relieved that these bots weren't cons.

"They won't be anything if we aren't careful" Ratchet yelled. Hide left at that while Skyfire called in a couple of other bots to help. Skyfire wanted to head out, but something made him stay put. He figured that since he saved them, he wanted to see this through. "Has anyone reported the new bots to Prime yet?"

"No, as we weren't sure if it was wise. But I can do so" Skyfire replied to Ratchet before comming the Prime. "You are needed in the med bay. We found two bots, both are out cold and have been identified as fellow Autobots. Ratchet needs you here."

"On my way, Prime out" Optimus answered over Skyfire's comm.

"I hope these two can be saved" Skyfire piped up once he was done with the comm. "we need more soldiers to defeat the cons."

"I just hope that these two can function once I fix them. They are of a much older and more difficult design than most bots, and earth has such primative tools" Ratchet added. Skyfire had to agree as both bots were badly damaged. It was anyone's guess if the bots would come back online and in functional condition.
