As Optimus made his way to where the med bay was, Ratchet and his helpers were working on the two bots when Ratchet let out a cuss word he hadn't used in years. Bewildered and not pleased with the word, Skyfire piped up, "what is wrong Ratchet? What happened?"
"I don't know that one" Ratchet stated pointing to Lancex, though he didn't know the bot's designation. "But I know this one."
"So who is he?" Skyfire asked, just as Optimus walked into the area that passed for the med bay.
"First off, this isn't a he, it's a she" Ratchet revealed, "and if memory serves me right, her name is…. Commander Aquaformer." Skyfire and the others were stunned, with Skyfire actually passing out at hearing that. Fortunately for the shuttle, Optimus caught the bot and helped lower the shuttle gently to the floor.
"Are you certain that this is commander Aquaformer? I thought she was lost in battle, or was I mistaken?" Optimus asked.
"Report was that she was lost in battle, but she is too stubborn to die in battle. She is also known as a difficult femme to work with, or so the report goes" Ratchet reported. "But she is not a difficult bot to work with if you respect her."
Optimus shot a look to the medic, "how do you know that?"
"She was not always a commander….she and I used to work in the med bay together back on Cybertron. She can be challenging to work with, but not bad over all"Ratchet reported.
Optimus nodded, he had questions for Aquaformer, if it was indeed Aquaformer, but the other bot drew Optimus' attention more. "Who is that?" Optimus asked.
"No one seems to know. His scans scan as an Autobot but nothing further is entered. I am hoping to save both, but Aquaformer first as she will likely be able to tell us more about this seemingly unknown bot, considering she added his scans in the system but without a designation. Likely an accidental oversight."
Optimus nodded. "Please keep me informed of all progress with these seemingly new bots" Optimus announced as while he felt he needed to stay, he knew he was truly needed elsewhere to help fight off the cons.
"Will do, Prime" Ratchet stated as he continued his work. Optimus then left, just before Skyfire came too.
"Uh, what happened?" Skyfire asked, carefully getting himself off the floor.
"You passed out on learning one of the bot's was the femme commander known as Aquaformer" Ratchet answered succinctly.
Skyfire was stunned. "Maybe I should have a medical check. I've never passed out before" Skyfire replied. Ratchet just sighed. Things were getting complicated and fast.
