Lancex was up and had his special gun aimed right at Ratchet and Skyfire, not trusting the bots at all. "Aquaformer, where are we?" Lancex asked, his voice sounding angry but Aquaformer sensed fear, and a fearful bot was a dangerous bot.
"As to what planet we are on, I can't tell you. But I can tell you that we are in a med bay in an Autobot base" Aquaformer explained.
"How did we get here?" Lancex demanded to know, sounding on edge. Ratchet silently called for Optimus, fearing that Aquaformer might not be enough to calm the agitated bot.
"I don't know how we got here, as I was out cold like you, but I do know we can trust these bots" Aquaformer replied.
"Why should I trust them? Neither they or the other ones cared for where I came from!" Lancex shot back.
"Remember how I found you, broken and in need of repair as your self repair has failed? (Lancex nods). The red and white bot there is who taught me that skill. Also, you gave me a chance. All I ask is that you give them a chance" Aquaformer replied, unaware that Optimus hard been called or had arrived.
"But no one cared for us" Lancex shot back.
"Where are you from, soldier?" Optimus asked, stunning all but Aquaformer maintained her composure, as Lancex was still a threat if not addressed correctly.
"A settlement on the planet Vorn, a seeming forgotten world and settlement" Lancex revealed. Aquaformer shook her head. She had heard of it, but it had a reputation of being a very bad area.
"I was unaware that such a settlement existed" Optimus replied, his spark starting to react strangely, but he figured he was just tired from fighting the cons. Lancex could sense that Optimus was being honest about not knowing, but it didn't completely help things.
"I've heard of it. From what I heard, it was a dangerous place" Aquaformer added. Lancex looked at her, stunned that someone had heard of his home. Unfortunately, she was right with the rumor she had heard.
"Well, nevertheless, all are welcome here" Optimus added, hoping it would help. Lancex looked to Aquaformer for confirmation and when she nodded, he lowered his weapon.
"Please, Lancex, I could only perform a surface level medic job. Please allow Ratchet to scan you over and take care of any issues" Aquaformer requested, and seeing that she trusted these bots, he decided to trust her and allow himself to be checked out.
Meanwhile, seemingly forgotten, Skyfire was in a bit of awe. Aquaformer was something else. She wasn't the typical femme, and something about that intrigued him something fierce. And that was not a feeling he had experienced before. He just hoped things would work out. Work out how he didn't know just yet, but would work out none the less.
