POV: Nya
Nya woke up, and immediately started coughing. Everything was blurry, and she continued to cough. They were in a dark room, barely any light, and she could see many people on the floor.
She stopped coughing, and looked around. The last thing she remembered was Jay leaving them all to die in an explosion.
She couldn't believe he would do that to them.
Jay. HER Jay. Had literally tried to murder them.
Oh. And he had stolen their powers. Great. Was she even alive? If she was, how?
She looked around. She could see a figure traveling back and forth from person to person.
"Hello?" She called.
The person turned around immediately and gasped. Then he ran to her.
"Nya! Thank goodness you're OK!" He said.
Nya then recognized him. It was Lloyd.
"Lloyd?! Is that really you!you!? Like, the real you? Not the fake one?" She gasped.
"Yes. And I have the real Kai and Wyldefire here too. Everyone else is here too." He said.
"... Where are we?" She asked.
"In a safe room. Me and Kai found it after the Merge. After Jay left and the explosion started, we grabbed everyone and brought them here. Kai stopped the fire, but it took a lot out of him. He is resting. Wyldefire was injured greatly by Jay, when she got caught, but she is doing so much better now. Zane is totally fine, he's just out there looking at the damage. I'm OK too." Lloyd explained. He then had a worried expression on his face.
"Sora woke up, and so did Ryue, but Arin and Cole still haven't." He said.
Nya was suddenly overcome by fear.
"What?! Are you sure? What if Cole never wakes up? What if Arin never wakes up? Nononono! This can't be happening! I have already lost Jay, my boyfriend, and now I have to lose my other two friends?! This isn't fair! How much will we have to suffer? How much do we have to lose? WHY DOES THIS ALWAYS HAPPEN?!" She wailed.
Lloyd was shocked to see her like this.
But he put his hand on her shoulder and embraced her.
"Everything's going to be OK." He said. His voice was gentle. "Cole and Arin are going to be fine. Zane already scanned them. Cole is perfectly fine, but he has lost a lot of blood due to his injury Jay gave him. He just needs to… rest."
Nya felt somewhat better, but her heart felt like it had been torn, trampled, and broken into a million pieces.
"What are we going to do?" She asked quietly.
"About what?" Lloyd asked.
"About the fact that Jay has forgotten all about us, and that he literally tried to kill us all. The fact that he stole out powers. The fact that we literally can't do anything to stop him, because he is too ridiculously powerful, to do anything to stop him!" She practically yelled.
"Are you done?" He asked.
She took a deep breath, saying, "Yes."
"OK. So here's what I'm going to say about that. You know that girl who supposedly stole your powers? She was betrayed by Jay, too. She woke up earlier and said she wanted to help us. But she didn't want to tell us anything until all of us were awake."
Oh. Nya thought. Isn't she the one who was disguised as Kai, when she saw Jay and him on the roof? Oooooh, she was in for a world of pain.
"So, as soon as Cole l, Kai, and Arin wake up, we can go murder-TALK to her?" She asked.
"Um… yes? But Nya, I know you must be really mad at her, but try to be patient. She is going to help us, and we need to be somewhat nice, so that she tells us everything we need to know."
Nya was resistant at first, but then she silently nodded.
"Good. Now, try to get some sleep. I'll wake you up if I need you."
Lloyd stood and left. Nya laid back down, using her arms as a pillow.
She fell into deep thought and finally drifted off.

Nya woke up to someone shaking her. She groaned and then finally decided to get up. Arin was shaking her awake, his face looked like it had a lot of ash on it, and some of his suit was burned.
"Arin! You're ok!" She smiled and hugged him. He hugged her back, and then when they released, he started coughing. When he finished, he said, "Kind of. Look, I came here for two reasons: One, Lloyd is gathering everyone to have a serious talk. Two… I just want you to know that we know you're going through a lot. More than any of us, really. Just know that if you need to talk to anyone, we are here for you. We are going to get Jay back, and everything will be fine."
At this point, Nya couldn't hold in her tears anymore, and started crying. Arin sayed next to her while she cried. When she was done, they stood up, and Arin led her to the group. She saw Zane and Sora, they just looked a little dirty, but other than that, they were fine. Ryue looked dirty too, and that was it.
She saw Wyldefire and Kai sitting next to each other. Wyldfire looked fine. She had a few bruises on her face, but she looked like she was doing OK. Kai looked totally exhausted, and she ran in and hugged him.
"Hi, sis." He said.
"Don't scare me like that ever again." She said.
"I won't." He promised.
The next people she saw were Lloyd and Cole.
Lloyd was helping Cole stand. Cole had a bandage wrapped around his right leg.
"Cole…" She basically whispered.
He smiled and waved at her.
She ran and hugged him. He almost fell over, but she held him up.
"I can't believe he did that to you." She said through tears.
"I can."
Nya was shocked to hear an unfamiliar voice behind her. She released Cole and Lloyd grabbed him so he wouldn't fall.
She turned around to see the same girl with blond hair, called Beth.
Nya didn't even think, just ran at her, and punched her right in the jaw.
She fell to the floor, and spat out blood.
Everyone gasped, and Lloyd said, "NYA! What did I say?!"
She ignored him and Beth said, "Nice punch. But I bet I could do better."
Nya sighed and walked back over to Lloyd.
"Sorry, but she deserved it." She grouched.
Lloyd sighed and set Cole on the ground. Nya sat next to him, and Lloyd walked over to Beth. He helped her up, and he led her to a seat.
He then said, "Beth, we want to know everything about you, and everything you know about Jay, and the Administration. You will answer all our questions."
"Got it." She sighed.
"My name is Elizabeth May Black. But everyone calls me Beth. I was an orphan, and the Administrator took me in. He trained me, cared for me, everything. The merge happened, and later afterward, there was an explosion. I was sent to find the source, and stop the fire, along with 5 other agents. We cleared the fire, and started to clean the mess of metal. I found Jay in the rubble. He had several burns and other great injuries, and we brought him back. He was out for weeks, and we found out his name, and that he was the elemental master of lightning. We researched his past, and the Administrator was very interested in the fact that he was an elemental master of lightning. He used his magic, although he calls it his elemental power, to heal Jay the best he could. Unfortunately, he wasn't able to help Jay regain his memories, which he lost due to an injury on the back of his head. I was told to keep an eye on him. He eventually woke up, and we hired him. He was taught to fight, and we used his elemental powers to power almost all of our supplies. We eventually gained feelings for each other, and became boyfriend and girlfriend. Jay was told about you guys, but he was told that you were enemies, and was told what he was to do if you came looking for him. The Administrator wants all of your elemental powers for himself. I did steal your powers, but they come back according to my studies. I can help you."
Everyone wasn't sure.
Nya sighed and said, "Let's give her a shot at it."
Beth smiled and said, "Thank you. You won't regret it."
"You better not make me, or I'll end you. Permanently." She said.
"Alright!" Lloyd said. "Let's do this."
