A/N:- This is the third chapter of the story and will focus on the first fight sequence of the story. It might not seem that much flashy and there are certain reasons for that.

Also, replying to a comment by 15shivamsoni where he wrote about implementing the CRA in case of Naruto, that's a really good idea and I might consider it. But, the fact is that, in the stories which I write (both fanfictions and non-fictional) the endings ae always….tragic. You can say that it is a signature thing of mine. I'll think about it, thanks for the idea!

And yeah, there is going to be a small flashback from the past, paving the path for a super strong battle duo!

CHAPTER 3

THE ONSEN FIGHT

Naruto applied some chakra on his feet as he stood on the surface of the warm water of the hot-springs. He stared at the monstrosity which was standing in front of him. The creature was fuming with rage, all the six eyes of the creature were dark red and it was emitting out dark red chakra. The claws of the creature seemed that it can kill ten humans with a single blow and the fangs seemed deadlier than that of Akamaru.

'Its chakra is full of dark and negative energy. I can't sense any emotion coming from it yet.' Naruto analyzed the creature. 'Seems like the vessel has no control over its sealed creature'.

The creature growled in rage, the coarse sound of the thing producing sharp sound waves due to which, even the water in the hot spring started shaking.

'I hope Mirai is alright' Naruto thought as the creature charged at Naruto in full speed and jumped at him. As soon as the claw of the creature would make a contact with Naruto, he disappeared in a flash. The claw hit the water in full force, as it caused a huge sound and a large amount of water to splash upwards.

Naruto appeared above the monster in a flash as he applied some chakra in his fists and added Katon element to it, due to which, flames engulfed his fists and arms.

"Katon: Engeki" Naruto said calmly as he landed his punch on one of the faces of the monster. He controlled the punch and landed it in such a way that the monster lost its balance and fell on the water of the hot-spring, causing a thunderous sound. The head of the monster caught fire due to the effect of the punch as it started to scream in pain. The movement of the creature caused swift waves.

Enraged, it swinged its tail towards Naruto as he disappeared in a flash and Hiraishined few feets away from the monster.

'In an indoor fight like this, using my chakra is suicide' Kurama said as Naruto nodded.

'Yeah, even if I use 1% of your chakra, I'll end up wrecking this entire onsen, killing all the people in it.' Naruto agreed with Kurama's statements.

'Be careful, a small mistake can destroy this entire village'

'Yeah, I know.'

The monster got back on his feet as it charged towards Naruto in full force, screaming at top of its lungs. As soon as it was about to hit him, he jumped upwards to avoid the collision. As he got exactly above the monster, he started performing some hand seals, as he stopped with the bird seal.

"Doton: Doryuso" Naruto said as several rock spears arose from the ground below the water surface. The spears pierced through the lower part of the monster as it started to scream even louder in pain and agony.

Naruto landed a few meters away from the monster as he saw it struggling to get out of the mess. He was just about to form a rasengan in his right hand as he saw something familiar. The thing opened its mouth as he concentrated a ball of dark red chakra, oozing with black rays.

'A Bijuudama? But how?' Naruto was confused as the Monster projected the chakra bomb towards Naruto. He quickly did some handsigns as he slammed his hand on the water of the hot-springs.

'Suiton: Suijinheki' Naruto said mentally as a wall of water rose infront of him. The chakra bomb hit the water wall with a little force as it dissolved in the water in no time.

'Couldn't even penetrate through the Water wall a bit. Seems like, this thing is a disappointment.' Kurama smirked as the water wall fell down. Naruto saw the monster breaking himself free from the spears as it growled in pain and anger.

Naruto starred at the monster with a calm expression, trying to calculate its moves.

The monster picked up three boulders from the ground with its mouths as he projected them towards Naruto in full force. He swiftly moved around, deflecting each and every boulder easily. The thing continued as the monster kept throwing boulders, planks of woods towards Naruto and he deflected each and every one of them. He suddenly disappeared in a flash as he reappeared in front of the monster's middle head, his fists engulfed in fire as he landed a straight punch in its face, as its entire head caught fire and it fell back on the water surface.

'This thing doesn't seems much strong, but is lasting for quite the time' Naruto thought as he landed a few meters away from the monster. All sudden, he saw a huge boulder projected towards him. Turns out, the monster did that using its tail.

Naruto channel some chakra in his right fist as he punched the incoming boulder, the impact waves of the punch strong enough to break the boulder into thousands of pieces.

Suddenly, a powerful gust of wind blew away all the stone pieces as a blonde women shunshined just behind Naruto. Her body, from chest of the legs, were covered by a draped wet towel as she was holding the battle fan in her hands.

"Sorry, I am late, had to help the people to evacuate."

"It's okay Temari. Quite the entrance you made." Naruto said as Temari smirked at his comment.

"Not the most comfortable thing to wear during a battle." Temari said as Naruto nodded. Entire time he was fighting the monster, he was just wearing a towel, tightly draped around his waist.

"It's not that bad, can move freely." Naruto joked as Temari laughed a bit. They turned towards the monster. The fire has faded from its head as it was slowly standing up, growling in anger.

"So, that's the monster?" Temari asked.

"Yeah." Naruto replied.

"Looks weak as hell. Why didn't you just Rasengan the shit out of this thing yet?" Temari deadpanned as Naruto replied,

"Well, I might end up destroying this entire onsen."

Temari thought for a moment.

"Hmm. What do you say Naruto? Let's team up, once again, just like the good ol' days." Temari proposed as Naruto grinned a bit.

"Team up? Ah! The air of nostalgia hit me harder than your wind scythe justu!" Naruto joked as Temari started laughing again as they were cut by the loud scream of the monster, now standing up. They made a serious and angry expression.

"Let's do it." Temari announced as she took her battle stance with the fan.

"Yeah…" Naruto agreed as he channel Katon-mixed chakra in his fists as they got engulfed in fire once again.

"What did Gaara used to call us? Deadly blondies eh?" Temari said as the monster charged towards them, screaming like a maniac.

"He'll feel PAIN"

FLASHBACK BEGINS

A 15 year old Naruto entered the Kazekage office as he saw Garaa sitting on the chair behind the desk as always, while Temari was standing in front of the desk, in her usual shinobi uniform, the battle fan in her hand.

After leaving Konoha with Jiraya for his training trip, he arrived at Sunagakure to reside there for some months and do his training. Jiraya was training Naruto with his Family Jutsus and seals while Temari trained him on his wind chakra element. Kankurou taught him about poisons and puppets. During the time, he was staying with the Sand siblings in their Family compound.

"Morning, Garaa. You asked for me?" Naruto asked as he slowly closed the door and walked towards the desk.

"Morning Naruto." Temari greeted him with a smile as he greeted her back.

"Yeah morning. Well, I was assigning Temari on a mission and want you to tag along with her." Garaa said as Naruto nodded.

"Sounds like some joint Konoha-Suna Mission thing. Will I get payment for this mission?" Naruto asked as Temari grinned at him.

"Nope. I just want you to tag with her. It is not a mission for you." Gaara replied as Naruto face fell.

"C'mon dude. A small pay check won't hurt. After all, I'll end up spending the money on some Dangos for Temari, isn't it?" Naruto looked at Temari as she started laughing.

"Yeah, yeah. He'll spend up the money in our usual Dango date." Temari said as she turned towards Gaara, "A small paycheck will be alright, can you manage? Gaara?"

"It'll be done." Gaara replied with a light smirk as Temari and Naruto bid farewell to him and left the room.

"So, what's this mission?" Naruto asked as Temari replied, "Nothing much, I group of bandits were spotted near the southern post. Investigation and action, if necessary."

"I see, let's head towards the post." Naruto said calmly as Temari replied with a nod.

Around 30 minutes, they arrived at the post where they were immediately encountered by around 10 bandits.

"Quite fast, aren't y'all?" Naruto mocked as he calmly said, "Fuuton: Daitoppa." As he released a powerful gust of wind from his mouth, pushing away most of the bandits as they slammed on the sandy surface. Temari was beating the shit out of the bandits using her Battling fan. It didn't take long enough when around two hundred bandits encircled around Temari and Naruto. Both of them stayed close and together.

"There are just too many of these damn bandits!" Temari groaned as Naruto said in calm manner, "If there's a will, there's a way."

She looked at Naruto as he quickly pulled out a scroll and unsealed a katana from it. Temari smirked as she said, "Let's do it, then."

"Yeah!" Naruto announced as one of the Bandits recklessly ran towards Naruto and Temari to attack them. As he was about stab his kunai into Naruto's chest, he disappeared in a flash as Temari slammed one of the ends of her fan, right on that Bandit's face. The bandit felt a piercing pain as he realized that Naruto reappeared at his back and stabbed on his heart with his Katana. The lifeless body of the bandit fell on the ground as his comrade watched him in horror.

Enraged, they advanced towards Naruto and Temari in order to kill them as both of them together started to wipe out the bandits clean. Naruto channeled Wind chakra in his katana as he slashed the bodies of the bandits with ease, while Temari was assisting him in the process. They together did the killings in such a sync, it felt more like a dance.

An Hour Later

Gaara was quietly doing his paperwork when the door of his opened suddenly with a slam as two blondes barged in Gaara's office. Temari was slightly enraged while Naruto was trying to calm her down.

"What happened Naruto, Temari?" Gaara asked, slightly concerned.

"What happened? Were you trying to get me and my Naruto killed?" Temari spat as Gaara got confused a bit.

"Why? Did something go wrong?" Gaara asked as Naruto said, "We conforted around two hundred bandits there."

"Two hundred?" Gaara's eyes widened as he said, "How- where are they now?"

"Come with me, Gaara." Temari said as the blondes led the readhead to the roof of the Kazekage Tower. Then, Naruto took out a scroll and unsealed it, as a small explosion took place, and amidst the poof of smoke, a pile of dead bodies was revealed. Some of them were in pieces, some had their eyes ripped off, some had the limbs and legs hacked and chopped, some had their heads chopped, some had huge holes in their body. Gaara looked at the pile of the dead bodies, none of them were recognizable.

"You two…..did this?" Gaara was shocked, these people seemed like they were attacked by some monsters.

Temari and Naruto simply nodded, as they looked towards each other and smiled.

"So, let's get some dangos then?"

"Of course, Milady."

Gaara realized one thing that day- Never to mess with the Deadly Blondies

FLASHBACK END

The monster charged towards Naruto and Temari as it was growling and screaming like a psycho.

"Let's end this with one blow!" Temari screamed as they dodged the attack with ease as she lifted her battling fan and swinged it with full force.

"Fuuton: Kamaitachi!" Temari created a vortex of wind using her fan as it rotated in full speed. In the meantime, Naruto also completed performing his hand-seals.

"Suiton: Suishoha" Naruto calmly said as he created a massive vortex of water from the hot-spring water. Temari's wind vortex got merged with Naruto's water vortex as they created a nearly unstoppable force of water and wind. Heading straight towards the monster. The vortex collided with it and eventually, the monster got stuck in it. The screams of pain and anger could be heard with ease.

"Gattai Ninjutsu: Kyoudaina Fusui No Uzu" Temari and Naruto said together as they landed a few feet back, watching the monster getting obliterated in their massive vortex. Temari raised her hand slowly as Naruto did something like a high-five.

A minute later, the vortex died down as the unconscious body of the three headed monster appeared to by lying in the hot spring.

"Thankfully, our cooperation ninjutsu didn't end up damaging the onsen." Naruto said as he and Temari walked towards the monster.

"The fact that the monster hasn't still transformed to its original form, what are you going to do, Naruto?" Temari asked as he replied, "Thinking about the same thing. By the way, where are Mirai and Ino?"

"They are helping out the evacuated people. You know, some of them got seriously injured when the wall blew off initially."

"I see…" Both of them stood in front of the monster. Naruto closed his eyes as he activated his sennin mode. Then, he did the bunshin seal as he formed 4 kage bunshins of him.

"So, you have something in your mind, don't you?"

"Yeah, Temari. My clones will form a barrier around this monster. I will keep attacking it with one of my destructive jutsus until it transforms to its original form." Naruto replied with a cold expression.

"And, the barrier will prevent the surroundings from getting destroyed, right?"

"Yeah…"

"So, which barrier are you going to use?"

All the four bunshins of Naruto took their position in four corners around the unconscious monster as they performed a series of handsigns.

"Shisekiyojin" Naruto replied as Temari grinned. She knew that she was going to enjoy the sights.

As the bunshins reached their last handsign, a vertical stream of red light emerged from the ground where they were standing as the area covered in between the parallel lines got covered by a cloak of red chakra.

"Any guess about the sacrifice?" Naruto asked Temari as she replied, "Maybe an 80 year old geezer?"

"Barrier formation, Success." One of the bunshins of Naruto said as he jumped to the top of the barrier. As he reached just above the body of the monster, he formed an Odama Rasengan in his right hand and directly hit the rasengan with the monster. Naruto kept adding more chakra to convert it into a Cho-odama Rasengan.

Temari watched as each and every cell of the monster was getting destroyed due to the impact of the Rasengan. The surroundings remained unharmed due to the Barrier formation by Naruto's clones. After a while, a huge poof sound could be heard, indicating that the monster has returned back to its original form, basically, the form of its human sacrifice.

Naruto cancelled the Rasengan as he landed next to Temari.

"Boys, deactivate the barrier. We won't be needing that anymore."

"Yes, sir!"

The barrier got deactivated as the clones of Naruto poofed out of existence. He and Temari waited for the smoke to clear, which would reveal the vessel of the Three headed monster. Well, the sight of the human sacrificed, shocked both Temari and Naruto!

As the smoke cleared, much to their horror, they saw an unconscious child, lying on the middle of the hot spring, half submerged. Her clothes were tattered, she was barely breathing. In short, she was dying. Their eyes were widened at the sight.

'NO!' Naruto and Temari screamed mentally as they ran to the kid and picked her up slowly. Naruto quickly checked her pulse as Temari asked him, "Is she ok?!"

"She's breathing! We quickly need the assistance of a medic. Can you call Ino!?"

"Y-Yeah! I am going!" Temari said as she quickly ran towards the main building.

Naruto looked at the kid. The child didn't seemed to be older than 6-7 years. There were various marks of blades, burns etc. on her body and she seemed really malnourished. Never in his life, Naruto expected that this poor little kid would be the vessel of the three headed monster. But that's what shinobi life was, unfair and unpredictable.

'I am so sorry! I-' Naruto mentally apologized as he realized that all the attacks had taken a great toll on her body. Tears were rolling down his cheek. He felt like a criminal.

"NARUTO! AR- W-what's that kid doing there?" Ino came out running, to check whether Naruto was alright when she saw that he was holding a child in his arm and was crying. Heck, the child seemed to be in a very bad condition.

Naruto waked out of the water with the child in his arms as he placed the child on the ground. Ino placed her hands on top of the child as green chakra started to emerge from her hands. Temari stood alongside Naruto, consoling him that it wasn't his fault.

"Naruto, I-I am sorry." Ino said in a grim tone as Naruto and Temari's eyes widened. She tried to suppress her tears, "Multiple bones and ribs fracture, ruptured cardiac muscles, crack on cranium….. This kid can't be saved…"

Naruto looked at the face of the girl. She had a peaceful face, an innocent one. He felt all broken. But, he realized that he could do something.

"Naruto, you really do forget sometimes that you are a GOD…."

He closed his as he activated his Rikudo Sennin Mode. He sat along the child and placed his hand on top of her head as he channeled pure white chakra on her headed. Slowly, all her ruptured muscles, broken ribs etc. started to heal. Even, all the burn marks and cuts started to heal.

"She's going to be alright. Ino, please perform your medical jutsu…" Naruto calmly said as Ino blushed a bit. She then started healing the kid with her medical ninjutsu.

The three had the same question in their heads.

'But…why?"

Perhaps, the questions will be answered soon…
