To my readers-I decided that instead of making 2 huge volumes of A Ketchum's journey, I decided to make them into 4 separate volumes. Volume 1 will contain the Kanto and Johto regions, Volume 2 will contain Hoenn and Sinnoh regions, Volume 3 will contain Unova and Kalos regions, last but not least, Volume 4 will contain Alola and Galar regions. I want each and every one of you to know that if you personally don't like the way I'm writing the fanfic, then you don't have to read it. I will not reach through my laptop to force you to read any fandoms that I write for because you can probably find a lot better fanfics in those fandoms over mine. Fireworks blasted off into the sky as a concert was about to start. "Pika!" squealed Pikachu.
"Awesome." said Ash.
"Hmm…" said Meeko.
"I wonder…" said Hayley as she and Meeko tilt their heads to the side as they looked at the poster on the wall.
"Rockruff." barked Rockruff.
"Sounds like the excitement's building." said Kukui as he walks up with Kiawe and Mimo.
"Oh, boy! My first concert!" said Mimo, looking at the gathering crowd.
"Hey Mimo." said Hayley as she quickly runs over to her.
"Hayley!" said Mimo. "Hi Meeko."
"Lucario!" said Meeko, running over and gives her a long hug, causing Mimo to giggle.
"Just make sure you and Hayley don't wander off." Kiawe said to them as Mallow and Sophocles walked up in wigs.
"Been waiting long?" Mallow asked.
"Alola." said Sophocles.
"Alola." said Ash and Hayley as they gasped with Kiawe to see their friends' hair.
"What? What's the deal?" asked Ash.
"The deal?" asked Sophocles, then pulls off the wig. "Oh, this. It's just a wig."
"Everyone wears one to a Dug-Leo concert. It's what you do." Mallow explained.
"Dug-Leo, huh?" said Ash, then looks back at the poster. "That's who's playing here?"
"Yup! Dugtrio and DJ Leo. Dug-Leo for short!" added Mallow.
"That's one interesting looking Dugtrio." said Hayley.
"Are they wearing wigs?" asked Ash.
"No, it's all real." said Rotom.
"Mm." said the siblings.
"Dugtrio, Alola Form, the Mole Pokémon, a Ground and Steel type." said Rotom. "They are revered in Alola as the reincarnation of a planet guardian and its siblings. Its golden hair provides protection."
"That's really its hair?" asked Ash and Hayley, shocked.
"Pika. Lucar." said Pikachu and Meeko.
"As natural as can be and this is an Alolan Diglett." said Rotom, pulling up Diglett.
"Wow. It looks like it has three whiskers." said Ash.
"That would put Meowth to shame." said Hayley.
"Cario. Lucario." said Meeko.
"And Ash, Hayley, look over here!" said Mallow, running up to the poster to point out each Dugtrio. "The one with the long hair is Jessica. Ashley wears the bob cut and Michael's got the perm."
"And that cool guy's DJ Leo." added Sophocles.
"Cool." said Hayley.
"I get it!" said Mimo. "So everyone's dressing up to look like their favorite Dugtrio, then!"
"Makes perfect sense to me." said Jordan.
"You can see, Michael's my fave rave." said Kukui, wearing a perm wig.
"Oh my." said Hayley, going in shock as she sees Kukui wearing a wig. "I will never unsee this. Ever."
"Lucario." Meeko said in agreement.
"You're a fan?" asked Ash.
"You could put it that way." chuckled Kukui.
"Why don't you try a wig?" Sophocles asked the others.
"We'll check it out." said Ash and Hayley.
"Pika. Cario." said Pikachu and Meeko.
"Me, too!" said Mimo.
"Not even if you paid me." said Kiawe, crossing his arms.
"Aw, come on!" said the others.
"Please, Kiawe, join us!" begged Mallow.
"That's how you really get into it. Right guys?" asked Ash.
"Pretty please?" pleaded Mimo. "If my big brother won't wear it, then I won't either."
"You won't?" he asked Mimo, then gives in. "All right." Ash, Kiawe, Hayley and Mimo were chuckling as they wore wigs of their favorite Dugtrio. "You guys are looking great." said Sophocles.
"Go on. Really?" asked Ash, posing for a moment.
"Togede." said Togedemaru.
"Steenee." said Steenee.
"Pika."
"Ruff. Ruff."
"Lucario." said Meeko, scratching her head for a second.
"Rotom Dex, sorry for asking, but what is that you're wearing?" Mallow asked as Rotom was wearing his Laki wig.
"Professor Kukui…." said Hayley, looking at the professor. "Rotom's doing it again."
"The perfect getup, of course." said Rotom. "Alola's best detective would never make a wrong choice."
"That has nothing to do with this concert." said Sophocles.
"Well, so what?" said Kukui. "It's all for fun!"
"Exactly!" screeched Rotom, unknowingly behind them a Diglett popped up. "It was fun to choose my costume!"
"Diglett!" said Diglett, looking up at Rotom's wig.
"Save your fashion advice for someone who needs it." Rotom told Sophocles.
"What was that?" asked Sophocles. Behind Ash and Rockruff, Diglett's eyes sparkled as it sees the wig. "You heard me!" argued Rotom.
"Diglett!" Diglett said in awe.
"Step right up! You can't have a costume without a wig, now can you?" Jessie asked people walking by the booth.
"We've got flashy wigs, panachey wigs!" said James, showing the display of wigs. "More colors than a rainbow. Oh, my!"
"But three and get one free!" said Meowth.
"Wobbu. Wobbu!" said Wobbuffet.
"Hey, moneybags!" Jessie said to Meowth. "We're supposed to sell this stuff to make money and not to make friends. Go and be generous some other time!"
"Giving out wigs is bad for our economy." said James.
"Of course, blonde wigs are the only wigs that are going to sell." Meowth said smugly.
"So what are we doing with multi-colored products?" Jessie asked.
"You said we had to have enough of a variety to be inclusive." said Meowth only to get groan angrily by Jessie and James.
"Look! Time for the boom-booms!" Jessie exclaimed, pointing behind James, Meowth and Wobbuffet. Just as she said that, the concert had started.
"Hey, hey, dudes and dudettes!" said DJ Leo. "Alola, yo!"
"Alola!" shouted the crowd.
"Feel it! The planet guardians express the love of Alola!" he said to the crowd. "Feel the love! Get ready to breathe it in and breathe it out! So, who's your favorite rave?"
"Dug-Leo!" shouted the crowd.
"Who?"
"Dug-Leo!"
"Once more!"
"Dug-Leo!"
"Right on!" said DJ Leo. "It's show time, baby cakes." Soon as he starts spinning the record, Dugtrio pops up.
"Trio. Trio. Trio. Trio. Dugtrio." sang Dugtrio.
"Diglett." said Diglett, popping up from behind Togedemaru.
"Trio. Trio. Trio. Trio. Trio. Dugtrio. Dugtrio. Dugtrio. Trio." sang Dugtrio. Behind a corner, Team Rocket watches the concert. "Trio. Trio. Trio. Trio."
"Wow." said Team Rocket.
"That Dugtrio could be a big asset." said Jessie.
"Right! Bringing us an avalanche of paid bills, with enough left over for big thrills and no spills!" said James.
"It's giving me the chills!" exclaimed Meowth.
"Yay!" yelled Team Rocket, taking off from the concert. As the moon shone its light over the water, Ash and the others walked along the shore line. "That was the most fun ever, yo!" said Ash.
"Pikachu!" said Pikachu.
"Ruff. Ruff." said Rockruff.
"I don't know if my wig is itchy or not." said Jordan, scratching her head.
"Lucario." Meeko said in agreement.
"DJ Leo and Dugtrio are totally the coolest ever!" said Mallow.
"Steen!" said Steenee.
"Aren't you glad we came?" asked Sophocles.
"Togede." replied Togedemaru.
"My arm. Too much pumping!" said Kukui, feeling some pain in his shoulder. "I'm sure going to feel it tomorrow!"
"I've decided." Mimo said to the others, who started chuckling. "I'll be a DJ when I grow up!"
"Did you like it, Kiawe?" asked Ash and Kiawe starts to sob.
"He's not crying….is he?" asked Hayley, looking back at the trainer.
"Cario?" asked Meeko.
"Hey, what's the matter?" asked Mimo, looking up at her brother and gasps at the tears running down his face.
"I've never been so moved by anything so beautiful in my entire life!" cried Kiawe.
"Huh?" asked the others.
"The way they celebrated the natural beauty of Alola, combined with its peoples' hopes and dreams was overwhelming, as it all washed over my very being!" Kiawe explained and takes off the wig. "Yes. This wig shall be a treasure, second only to my Z-Ring."
"Step it down a bit." said Rotom when something knocked him back, causing his Laki wig to come off. "Oh, my wig."
"Huh?" they said as they see the wig stand up on the ground. Whatever was under the wig, gibbered for a moment and takes off. "Hey, wait!" shouted Ash.
"Wig-napper!" shouted Rotom.
"Come on, Rockruff, catch it!" said Ash.
"You too, Meeko." said Hayley.
"Lucar!" said Meeko as she and Rockruff chased after the wig.
"Dig. Dig. Dig. Dig. Dig!" said the voice under the wig as it sped up with Rockruff and Meeko on its trail. Once it went past a line, Rockruff made its move. "Rockruff!" shouted Rockruff, pouncing on the wig.
"Way to go, Rockruff." said Ash.
"What a relief." said Rotom, picking up his wig to reveal Diglett.
"Huh?" said the others.
"That's a Diglett, isn't it?" asked Kukui.
"Pika. Lucar." said Pikachu and Meeko.
"You should've let it keep your wig, Rotom." said Hayley.
"No!" screeched Rotom.
"Hey, why would that Diglett want to take Rotom's wig?" asked Ash.
"Diglett!" screamed Diglett and goes into the dirt.
"It went underground." said Sophocles.
"Hey, yo!" said DJ Leo, stepping out of his house.
"Huh?"
"Bad news. This place is off limits unless your with the band!" he tells them.
"You're DJ Leo!" shouted the others.
"I apologize." Kukui said to DJ Leo. "We kind of got here by mistake."
"Uh…wha…Hm?" stammered DJ Leo.
"Huh?" said Kukui, feeling a little uncomfortable.
"You're Kukui. Am I right?" asked DJ Leo.
"You are. I am." Kukui replied.
"I knew it! Remember? I'm Leo." he said, pushing up the sun glasses. Kukui takes a closer look and starts to laugh. "Come on in and park it." said Leo, leading the group back to his house. "Any friends of Kukui's are friends of mine!"
"Trio!" said Dugtrio popping up in the sand.
"Pikachu." said Pikachu.
"Lucario." said Meeko.
"Thanks for being so nice!" said Ash as they sat down. Rotom was over at Leo's sound system with a gibbering gasp. "Wait, DJ Leo, so you and the professor were schoolmates?"
"Yes!"
"So cool!" said Sophocles.
"Wow, Leo! You sure don't look the same these days." said Kukui. "I had no idea it was you up onstage!"
"Hey, no one's more surprised than I am!" said Leo. "That Dugtrio changed my whole life. I was trying to make it singing songs of gratitude to Alola. But it wasn't long before I found I had strayed from my original path to success, to my dream."
[Flashback]
"The truth is I was lost in every sense of the word." said Leo.
Leo was lost in the forest when he heard singing. "Dugtrio. Dugtrio. Dugtrio."
"Those voices." said Leo, before running towards them.
"Trio. Trio. Trio. Trio. Trio. Dugtrio-tri. Dugtrio. Dugtrio Trio. Trio." said Dugtrio.
"Their beautiful song was like Mother Nature offering up her bounty just to me." said Leo.
Leo was in awe as he steps towards them. Later on, he and Dugtrio started singing together. "Then we became friends and started making music together." said Leo. "That's when it started. Yeah!"
[Flashback ends]
"Dug-Leo and DJ Leo were born."
"What a great story." said Ash.
"Diglett. Diglett. Dig. Dig." said Diglett, popping inside Leo's house.
"Huh?" said Mimo, looking behind her and sees Diglett. "That's the same Diglett."
"Dig. Dig. Diglett!" said Diglett, spotting Dugtrio.
"Trio. Trio. Trio." said Dugtrio, scared of its fan.
"Dig. Dig. Dig." said Diglett, getting up close. "Dig. Dig. Dig."
"Trio." they said, backing up.
"Dig. Dig. Dig."
"Trio."
"Dig. Dig. Dig."

"Dig. Dig. Dig."
"Dug. Dug. Dug."
"How cute!" said Mallow. "It looks like Diglett just adores that Dugtrio."
"Looks that way." said Sophocles.
"Dug. Dug. Dug. Dug." said Dugtrio before backing up into a wall by the Diglett.
"Dig. Diglett." said Diglett.
"Trio." said Dugtrio, looking back at Diglett.
"Dig. Dig. Dig. Dig. Dig. Dig. Dig. Dig. Dig. Dig. Dig. Dig." said Diglett.
"That Diglett is singing!" said Professor Kukui.
"Dig. Dig. Dig." Diglett continued to sing.
"Beautiful!" said Mimo and Hayley.
"Dig. Dig. Dig."
"Hm." said Leo, watching Diglett.
"Dig. Dig. Dig. Dig. Dig. Diglett!" sang Diglett, finishing its song. "Dig. Dig."
"Trio!" exclaimed Dugtrio, giving Diglett their approval on its song.
"Diglett! Diglett! Diglett! Dig!" Diglett yelled happily.
"All right." Leo said to Diglett. "Whatever Dugtrio wants, then I'm okay with it, too!"
"Okay with what?" asked Ash.
"Their agreement." said Leo. "Dugtrio just agreed to be Diglett's mentor."
"Mentor?" asked Sophocles.
"Maybe that's why Diglett wanted to wear that blonde wig." said Mallow.
"And Rotom should have let Diglett keep it." said Hayley.
"That makes sense." said Kukui, walking over to Rotom.
"Currently expanding Rotom Dex functions!" squealed Rotom as his arm glows from the back of the DJ equipment. "I have now been upgraded with voice sampling, thanks to Mr. DJ Leo. Huh?"
"Dig. Diglett." said Diglett, accepting the Laki wig.
"Now you fit right in with Dugtrio." said Kukui.
"B-but that's my wig!" stammered Rotom.
"Relax! I'll get you another one." Kukui tells Rotom.
"In that case, wear it in good health." said Rotom.
"Diglett, that's great!" said Ash.
"Pika. Pika." replied Pikachu.
"I like it. It honestly looks better on you than it does on Rotom." said Hayley.
"Cario. Cario." said Meeko, smiling.
"Diglett. Dig. Diglett. Dig." sang Diglett.
"Dugtrio." sang Dugtrio, in sync with Diglett. Hayley giggles, causing both Alolan Pokémon to look up at her.
"The two of you remind me of your Kanto Counterparts." she tells them.
"Lucar." Meeko nodded.
"How so?" Mimo asked and Ash smiles.
"Diglett, Diglett." Ash started off as he and Pikachu rocked side to side.
"Trio, Trio, Trio." said Hayley as she and Meeko followed suit. Mimo smiled, giggling at the Kanto siblings.
"Thanks for a great night, Leo." said Kukui as he and the others left the house.
"It was tons of fun." said Ash as Hayley starts to yawn.
"You're welcome!" said Leo. "It was fun for me too!"
"I'll be counting the minutes and hours until your next concert." said Kiawe with tears streaming down his face.
"Thanks. I'll be looking for you." said Leo.
"See you later, all four of you." said Mimo.
"Pikachu." said Pikachu.
"Dugtrio." said Dugtrio. Behind DJ Leo's house, Team Rocket sneaks up. After seeing his friends off, Leo heads back inside to work on their music.
"So! What do you say we run through a few tunes right now?" Leo asked Dugtrio as Diglett watches.
"Trio!" Dugtrio exclaimed and Leo starts playing a cord. "Trio. Trio. Trio. Trio. Trio."
"Diglett. Dig." said Diglett, quietly joining in on the sidelines.
"Trio!" said one Dugtrio loudly over the others.
"That was kind of cool." said Leo. "Once more."
"Trio. Trio. Trio." sang Dugtrio as one disappears, heading towards the center of the three of them.
"Huh?"
"Trio! Trio!"
"Oh!"
"Hey, now. What's up with you?" Leo asked as Dugtrio started to fight with each other for the center. "Once more."
"Trio. Trio. Tri." sang Dugtrio as each one wanted to sing lead. "Trio. Trio. Trio. Trio! Trio. Tri. (Yells). Trio."
"Dig. Dig. Dig. Dig. Dig!" said Diglett, doing its own thing.
"Hey, stop it right now! Stop!" Leo shouted, stopping the argument between Dugtrio. "Stop arguing! Please!"
"Dig." Diglett said in agreement.
"Dug. Dug. Dug. Dug." said Dugtrio, angrily.
"No way." said Leo.
"Dug. Dug. Dug. Dug."
"Dug."
"Dug."
"Trio."
"Dugtrio." Outside, Team Rocket watched the fight between Dugtrio.
"Trio."
"Trio."
"It sounds like they're arguing about who should do the lead vocals." said Meowth, translating for James and Jessie.
"A battle for the spotlight, eh?" asked James.
"That means a Dugtrio-catching we will go!" said Jessie, as James and Meowth nodded.
"Come on." said Leo, kneeling before Dugtrio. "Why don't you make up already? Whoa, whoa!"
"Trio. Trio. Trio." bellowed Dugtrio.
"Hello, hello." said Jessie, walking in with a disguise.
"Huh?" asked Leo.
"Hi-ho, what's happening?" asked James as he, Jessie and Meowth walked in.
"Who are you?" asked Leo.
"We're from the In Your Dreams Talent Agency." said Jessie. "I'm the manager."
"I'm the producer, babe." said James.
"I'm DJ Bling Charm. Yo!" said Meowth.
"I don't understand why you're here." said Leo. "What do you want?"
"Puh-leeze." said Jessie. "You must know the reason! Why, it's you! And your talent, too."
"Look, babe, the bottom line is we want to represent Dugtrio." said James.
"Represent?" questioned Leo. "What are you talking about? Dugtrio's with me."
"Not! Come and make the scene with us!" said Meowth. "Forget the fuss! Number one! The top of the charts! Breakin' some hearts! Three for one, yo!"
"Trio. Trio. Trio. Trio. Trio." said Dugtrio, discussing it with each other, causing Diglett to freak out a bit.
"Dig. Dig. Dig. Dig. Diglett. Diglett!" said Diglett, voicing its opinion about the disguised Team Rocket.
"Dugtrio. Dugtrio. Dugtrio. Dugtrio." Dugtrio replied, ignoring Diglett's concern.
"It's a deal. Makin' it real!" said Meowth.
"What?" asked Leo, shocked that Dugtrio was going with Team Rocket.
"Don't worry your towheaded dome." James said to Leo as they left his house. "We'll make Dugtrio feel at home."
"Hold the phone!" said Leo, chasing after them. "We've got a concert booked for tomorrow!"
"Have a good solo gig. Dig?" said Jessie as Team Rocket heads into the forest with Dugtrio.
"Dugtrio!" Leo called after them, trying to get the Alolan Pokémon back but falls into the sand. "No way."
Behind Leo, Diglett gets teary eyed at Dugtrio's departure. "Diglett. Dig." said Diglett, sad.
The next day, Ash and Hayley gasped at what they heard. "Dug-Leo broke up?" asked Hayley and Ash.
"That can't be!" said Kukui.
"At this hour, there's no news on tonight's concert." said the reporter on tv. "But with the sudden breakup of Dug-Leo, all of Alola is absolutely grief stricken! And that includes this newscaster! The agony! We now return you to our regularly scheduled program."
"Overnight? I wonder what happened!" asked Kukui. Over by the concert stadium, Kukui, Ash and Hayley talked to Leo. "So, Dugtrio just went off with people from a talent agency last night?" asked Kukui.
"It's all my fault." said Leo, staring into the sand. "I knew Michael, Jessica and Ashley all wanted to sing lead and that's why they all…that's why…they left."
"Oh, Leo." said Kukui.
"I just loved making music on stage with them." said Leo. "If I could do it once more…"
"Dig. Diglett." said Diglett.
"If that's what you want, you've got to tell them!" said Ash.
"Let them hear you out." said Hayley.
"But how?" asked Leo. "Where and when?"
"Let's go find Dugtrio right now!" said Ash and Hayley.
"Pikachu." said Pikachu.
"Lucar." said Meeko.
"But, Ash, Hayley, the only thing we have to go on is In Your Dreams Talent Agency." said Rotom.
"We know." said Hayley.
"We got it." said Ash. Outside, Ash holds an item in front of Rockruff. "Get a whiff of this, from the Dugtrio. Now, go on and track 'em down."
"Ruff! Ruff!" barked Rockruff, getting the scent and starts tracking Dugtrio, then takes off in the direction.
"Come on!" said Ash as he and Hayley grabbed Leo by his arms.
"Whoa. Whoa. Whoa." said Leo.
"Pika. Pika." said Pikachu.
"Cari. Lucar." said Meeko.
"Dig. Dig. Dig. Dig." said Diglett.
"Wait for me!" screamed Rotom as they went after the others, following the scent all the way to a cliffside.
"Ruff. Ruff." said Rockruff.
"Um, its round here, huh?" asked Ash.
"Lucario?" Meeko asked Rockruff, then points to the cliffside. "Cari? Lucario?"
"Ruff. Rockruff." Rockruff replied, then sniffs the ground again for the scent before pointing in the right direction. "Ruff. Ruff. Ruff."
The small group gasped when they see a boat shed by the water. "Bling time, bling time, yo, yo, yo!" rapped Meowth. "Time to polish my Charm and sound the alarm. Dugtrio and I are gonna make this baby fly high up in the hip hop sky. So plant me now and dig me later! Foodlelacky sacky, momma! Peace out!"
"Represent! DJ Bling Charm rules!" said Jessie and James.
"Wobbu! Wobb!" said Wobbuffet.
"Dug. Dug. Dug. Dug. Dugtrio." said Michael.
"Eh? What are you yapping about, claiming you're not being treated like an equal member, yo?" Meowth asked. "You're all gonna be equal members as DJ Bling Charm's backup singers!"
"Trio!" screeched Dugtrio, then tried to escape but was pulled back by the rope. "Trio. Trio. Trio. Trio. Trio."
"Save it for the stage." said Meowth.
"Dug. Dug. Dug." said Dugtrio.
"Nope. No breaks in this music factory." said Jessie. "You'll support Meowth with everything you've got! And you can see all the money that you won't get any of!"
"Knock it off!" shouted Ash, gaining Team Rocket's attention.
"Trio." said Dugtrio. The door opens, revealing Ash, Hayley, Leo and Kukui as Rockruff barks.
"Team Rocket!" Ash shouted. "So, you were behind all this stuff!"
"Keen grasp of the obvious." said Team Rocket.
"Really, Meowth? You're wearing that outfit?" Hayley asked, looking at Meowth's outfit. "That outfit is worse than Rotom's Laki wig and James wearing a wedding dress combined."
"Lucario!" Meeko exclaimed.
"At least I have better taste than you!" Meowth shouted at Meeko.
"He wore a wedding dress?" asked Kukui and Rotom.
"It was something that we could never unsee." said Hayley as she and Meeko shiver in disgust.
"You would find it weird to see James crossdressing." said Meeko.
"You don't wanna know." said Ash as Rotom and Kukui looked at him.
"Trio. Trio. Trio." said Dugtrio.
"My Dugtrio." said Leo, then looks up at Team Rocket. "Please let Dugtrio come back with me."
"When you learn how to sing!" said Team Rocket.
"Now for the best part, we get Pikachu and Meeko, and you get zip zero!" said Jessie.
"Wobbu, Wobbu, Wobbuffet!" taunted Wobbuffet.
"Now, Mareanie, use Sludge Bomb!" shouted James.
"Marean!" shouted Mareanie, releasing its Sludge bombs from its mouth.
"Okay, Rockruff, Bite!" shouted Ash.
"Ruff!" yipped Rockruff as it dodges Mareanie's attack and white teeth appeared in front of the Pokémon, biting down.
"Mimikyu, use Shadow Ball on Pikachu and Meeko!" said Jessie as Mimikyu hisses.
"Pika." said Pikachu as he and Meeko dodged.
"Pikachu, use Iron Tail!" shouted Ash.
"Pika. Pika!" shouted Pikachu.
"Meeko, use Double Team!" shouted Jordan.
"Lucario!" yelled Meeko as she creates illusions of herself to distract Mimikyu while Pikachu's tail glows, striking Mimikyu in the head.
"Plant it right there!" shouted Meowth with one end of the rope in his hand.
"Huh?"
"You realize we've lassoed us some popular Pokémon partners here." said Meowth.
"Word up!" said Jessie. "And don't you want them to be okay?"
As Team Rocket looks over at Dugtrio, they were in shock and unknowingly to them, Diglett had set Dugtrio free. "Trio!"
"Diglett."
"How dare you pop the Charms off our plot?" Jessie asked Dugtrio. "Mimikyu, stifle them."
"Mareanie! Join in the fun!" shouted James.
"Mareanie!" shouted Mareanie as they head for Dugtrio.
"Diglett!" shouted Diglett.
"Dug!" shouted Dugtrio as they used their hair to wrap both Pokémon.
"Dugtrio's ability, its Tangling Hair!" said Kukui.
"Trio!" shouted Dugtrio, throwing Mareanie and Mimikyu back towards Team Rocket.
"Leo, quick! Call Tri Attack!" Kukui said to him.
"Huh?"
"Dugtrio." said Dugtrio.
"Hm." said Leo, determined. "All right, Dugtrio. Tri Attack!"
"Dug. Dug. Dug. Dug. Dug. Dugtrio!" shouted Dugtrio as three colors of yellow, orange and blue light appeared, shot straight for Team Rocket. "Trio. Trio. Trio."
"Awesome." said Ash and Hayley.
"Keep it up with Iron Head." said Leo as Dugtrio's hair rose into the air and towards Team Rocket.
"Dugtrio!" shouted Dugtrio, pushing Mimikyu back.
"Last up! Let's wrap this up with Tri Attack!" said Leo.
"Dug. Dug. Dug. Dug. Dug…." said Dugtrio as they spun into the ground.
"Keep spinnin' and grinnin'! Rock the house and demand respect!" shouted Leo.
"Trio! Trio! Trio!"
All three beams of light shakes the ground around Team Rocket. "I think this dance is over." said Jessie when suddenly there was explosion beneath them, causing Team Rocket to scream through the roof. Giant black arms instantly grabbed them, revealing Bewear was on the roof.
"We're off with a new blast." said Team Rocket.
"If I ask mom to send me my video camera, think she'll send it?" asked Hayley.
"Probably." said Ash as they entered the boat shed.
"Thank you, Ash. Thank you, Hayley." said Leo. "Dugtrio and I are an item once again. Thank you too."
"Dig. Dig." said Diglett.
"Trio." said Dugtrio, thanking Diglett.
"Diglett." replied Diglett, smiling at its mentor.
"Jessica, Michael, Ashley, will you sing with me again?" asked Leo.
"Trio." said the three, rocking from side to side. "Dug. Dug. Dug."
"Well, all right!" shouted Ash, excitedly and grabs a hold of Hayley, swinging her around. "Now, we'll be able to see Dug-Leo in concert again."
"Pika. Pika."
"Ruff. Ruff."
"Cari. Lucar."
"Ash…..you're squeezing me too tight." said Hayley, whose face started to turn a light blue as she tries to push him away. "Air! I need some air!"
"Huh?" he said, looking down at his sister as she struggles against him. "Oops….sorry, Hayley."
"But, Leo, that still leaves the problem of who sings lead." said Kukui, rubbing Jordan's back.
"Ah!" he said, already having an answer. "I've got a solution for that."
That night, upbeat music was heard across the beach and the crowd was cheering. "We hope you groove on tonight's performance of Dug-Leo with Dugtrio, Diglett and me!" shouted DJ Leo. "Your humble servant, yours truly, DJ Leo! From now on, call us Dig-Dug-Leo! For our last encore, word up!"
Soon as the crowd cheered and DJ Leo starts scratching the records, music started playing. "Yeah!" shouted DJ Leo.
"Trio. Trio. Trio. Trio. Trio. Tri." sang Dugtrio as they spin around in a circle. "Dugtrio-Tri. Dugtrio! Trio. Trio. Trio. Trio. Trio. Tri. Dugtrio-Tri. Dugtrio. Trio."
"Aw, yeah."
"Trio. Trio. Trio. Trio. Trio. Tri."
"All right! Dugtrio's amazing!" said Mallow.
"They keep switching places." said Mimo.
"They all get to be center stage." said Ash.
"Great idea, Leo!" Kukui said to himself as he watches the concert. "I'll bet you got it from their Tri Attack!"
"Yo, yo, yeah!" shouted Leo as Pikachu and the other Pokémon were dancing.
"Trio. Trio. Trio. Trio. Trio. Tri."
"Dig, Dug, yo!"
"Dugtrio-Tri."
"Dig. Diglett." sang Diglett as it passes by Dugtrio.
"Dig, Dug-Leo."
"Trio. Trio. Trio. Trio. Trio. Tri."
Narrator: Now that Diglett has joined them, Dig-Dug-Leo are now reaching brand new heights and the grooves that this group creates together will echo forever and ever in the very soul of the Alola region….
"Yeah! Yeah! Yeah!" shouted Leo.
"Trio. Trio. Trio. Tri."
"Thank you!"
Hayley and Meeko: GRUNT!
