To my readers-I decided that instead of making 2 huge volumes of A Ketchum's journey, I decided to make them into 4 separate volumes. Volume 1 will contain the Kanto and Johto regions, Volume 2 will contain Hoenn and Sinnoh regions, Volume 3 will contain Unova and Kalos regions, last but not least, Volume 4 will contain Alola and Galar regions. I want each and every one of you to know that if you personally don't like the way I'm writing the fanfic, then you don't have to read it. I will not reach through my laptop to force you to read any fandoms that I write for because you can probably find a lot better fanfics in those fandoms over mine. Even if you can't find what you're looking for and still don't like the way I write it, then I encourage you to write your own. Happy Reading!

I DONT OWN POKEMON. I ONLY OWN MY OC AND THE CREATION OF HER REGIONAL POKEMON TEAMS. ALL REGIONAL POKEMON TEAMS WILL BE POSTED AT THE BOTTOM OF THE CHAPTERS FOR MY OC.

Outside in the dark at Sophocles' laboratory, Sophocles was typing away at his computer.

Narrator: Ash and Hayley's classmate Sophocles, is working in Sophocles Lab, which was built for him by his dad and, as usual, he's up to something.

Hayley, popping up and rubbing her eyes: You know, little girls like me need to get their good night's sleep and not hear certain people talk so loudly.

Narrator: Oops….sorry, Hayley.

Hayley: Yeah, yeah, yeah.

"All right, that's it. Run program, now!" Sophocles said to his computer.

"Demaru." said Togedemaru.

"See? I designed a computer program that basically allows me to use anyone's face to change different expressions." Sophocles explained to Togedemaru

"Ma?" asked Togedemaru.

"Allow me to demonstrate." said Sophocles, moving his mouse to show what a computerized Togedemaru was feeling. "Angry face. Smiley face."

"Togedemaru!" squealed Togedemaru.

"Huh?" said Sophocles as his stomach started rumbling. "I think it's time for a malasada break." Once out of his lab, Sophocles heads inside his house and overhears his parents. "Dear me, you haven't packed?" asked his mom.

"Huh?"

"Not yet." said his dad. "I keep thinking we still have a week."

"We do, but you should start packing now." his mom tells his dad. "It will fly by in no time."

"Hey, wait a minute!" said Sophocles, opening the sliding door. "We're moving?"

"That's right, dear." said his mom as Sophocles screams. "I told you. You weren't listening."

"Uh! Where to?" Sophocles asked.

"Farther than I'd like, quite a bit farther." said his dad and Sophocles groans, thinking that he and his family were moving away from Alola. "Hm?"

"What do I do? What do I do?" Sophocles asked himself as he walked backed inside his lab. "That means I'll have to say good bye to my friends at the Pokémon school. I don't want to move! I don't want to!"

Sophocles begins to cry as Togedemaru walks around the corner. "Demaru." said Togedemaru, comforting her trainer.

"That's it! I'll simulate the conditions for living here all by myself." he said, then walks over to his computer. "(Chuckles) Cleaning, laundry, meals. Oh! It's no use! I can't take care of all that without some help! And there's also a 99.9% chance my cooking will stink. A 99.9% chance I can't get up on time. I can't do any of that. What am I going to do?"

Once in bed, Sophocles started worrying about what he was going to tell his friends the next day at the Pokémon school. "Sophocles?" his mom asked through his door.

"Huh?"

"Are you awake? Can we come in?" his dad asked.

"Oh!" he groaned, placing the covers over his head.

"About the move…." said his dad.

"You have a week to pack up your things. Okay?" said his mom. "Now, good night."

Sophocles whimpers as his parents left his room. "It's way too dark in this room and I'm really scared." he cried and Togedemaru shines a little brighter. "Oh. That's great, Togedemaru. Thanks. I don't want to move away. I don't want to say good bye to everybody."

"Togede." said Togedemaru, seeing the tears on her trainer's face.

"It also means you have to say goodbye to your dear friends, Pikachu, Skylar and Lyra." said Sophocles. "Don't you see? It means goodbye."

"Togedema." said Togedemaru, not understanding what he meant.

"Saying goodbye means you won't get to see Pikachu and Meeko anymore!" Sophocles tried to tell Togedemaru.

"Demaru." Togedemaru said with a smile.

"Oh! Like this!" said Sophocles, then shows a simulation of Togedemaru, Pikachu and Meeko smiling together.

"Ma. Magedu." said Togedemaru, but when shown the next part of the simulation of her, Pikachu and Meeko with water between them, she starts to understand. "Toge? Maaa!"

"Yeah, now you finally understand how I feel." said Sophocles.

"Togedemaru!" sobbed Togedemaru.

"I'm going to cry too." said Sophocles, tears flowing down his face. The next day as they both walked to the Pokémon school, Sophocles and Togedemaru were still thinking about the day before. "How am I going to tell everyone?" Sophocles asked himself.

"Maru." said Togedemaru.

"Alola!" said Ash as he ran up to Sophocles with Hayley being dragged behind him.

"(Grunts) Hi, Ash. Hi Hayley." he replied.

"Hi, Sophocles." said Hayley, rubbing her wrist and glaring at her brother.

"Huh? Hey, you okay?" asked Ash, seeing the look on Sophocles' face. "You look kind of down."

"Uh, it's nothing. I'm fine." said Sophocles.

"Do you have a tummy ache?" asked Ash.

"Nope. No way." he tells him.

"Pika." said Pikachu as he waved at Togedemaru while Meeko gave her a huge smile. Togedemaru looked at all three Pokémon and starts to sob. "Pi? Pika?" Pikachu asked.

"Lucar? Lucario?" Meeko asked Togedemaru.

"Do you know the Pokémon ability called Battery, by any chance?" Kukui asked his students. "Using that, a Pokémon can increase its teammates' power."

"So, this is going to be my last few days in this classroom." thought Sophocles.

"Sophocles?" said Kukui, bringing him out of his thoughts.

"Sophocles." said Mallow, finally getting his attention.

"Huh?" he said, looking up as Mallow points to the professor.

"I guess you didn't hear my question." said Kukui.

"Oh, sorry." said Sophocles.

"It's unusual for you to be distracted talking abou Electric type Pokémon." said Kukui.

"Yeah. Pretty weird." said Sophocles, nervously smiling as his hand went behind his head as the others laughed. "Does Professor Kukui not know that I'm moving? Or does he know and is acting normally, anyway? All right, that's it. I know what to do. I'll just keep it a secret from everybody as well."

"Today's PE class will be a baton relay." said Kukui. "The rules are simply. First, the Pokémon run, followed by their trainers. Got it?"

"Yes sir."

"Let's go!" he said with his hand raised and Rotom starts to count down.

"Your start is important." said Rotom.

"On your mark." said Kukui.

"Togedemaru!" Togedemaru cried out and rolls over to Pikachu and Meeko.

"Huh?"

"Togedemaru!" Hayley called out as she runs over to the Pokémon. Togedemaru sobs as she rolls between Pikachu and Meeko. "Pika. Pika." said Pikachu.

"Lucari." said Meeko.

"Togedemaru is crying." said Lana.

"Sophocles, is something wrong?" asked Kukui as Togedemaru was rocked by Hayley in hopes to calm her down.

"Huh? Uh, nothing." said Sophocles. "See, it's like sometimes she likes Pikachu and Meeko so much that she can't control herself. Heh, heh, yup."

"Pika." said Pikachu.

"Lucario." said Meeko.

"Hey, it's okay." said Hayley, holding Togedemaru at eye level she finished rocking the Pokémon. "There, there. There's no need to cry."

"Togede." sniffled Togedemaru.

"You want to try telling me what's wrong?" Hayley asked Togedemaru, who then nodded her head. Hayley rocks Togedemaru back and forth, calming the Roly-Poly Pokémon in her arms as she try to tell Hayley what was wrong. Just then, the school bell rings and Sophocles hands Mallow something. "Whats with the map?" she asked him.

"I circled all the sweet shops that I think are the best!" he tells her. "Ice cream, pancakes, yummy chocolate and of course, the best malasadas I can find."

"Oh I am so going to be bringing my toothbrush for this." said Hayley. "There is no way that I'm gonna get cavities."

"Lucario." said Meeko, knowing that she would be bringing hers as well.

"I can already feel my teeth being filled with cavities already." said Hayley, holding one side of her face.

"Mine too." added Meeko.

"They're still not well known, but I'm sure as word gets out they're going to be packed, so, you should check them out right away." said Sophocles.

"Thanks, Sophocles." said Ash.

"My little sister will be thrilled." said Kiawe.

"Why are you giving us this?" asked Mallow.

"Well, the thing is, there's no point in keeping it to myself." said Sophocles, telling Mallow a lie. "I've gathered valuable data that needs to be shared."

"Thank you. That's so nice." said Lillie.

"Though kind of strange." said Lana, causing Sophocles to laugh nervously. "Normally, you'd keep things like this a secret."

"Yeah. She's right." said Mallow.

"Well, I think I've gotten over that." he tells both girls. "That's it."

"Still strange." said Lana.

"Did something happen?" asked Ash and Hayley.

"You can always talk to us, you know." said Kiawe.

"Uh…I'd better go home." said Sophocles, leaving the classroom. "Later! Let's go, Togedemaru!"

"Huh? Sophocles?" asked Ash.

"Togede." said Togedemaru, following her trainer.

"He's lying, you know." Hayley said to Ash. "Togedemaru told me a different story with her body language."

"You don't think…..?" Ash started to ask.

"It's why I think Togedemaru was crying." said Hayley.

"What do you think, Meeko?" asked Ash.

"Lucario." Meeko said, agreeing with Hayley.

"It's better this way." said Sophocles, on his way home.

"Toge." said Togedemaru.

"If they found out, it'll probably be awkward for them." added Sophocles. "I'll act just like I always do all the way up to the last day. I can message them later. Huh?"

"Yeah….about that." said Hayley as Sophocles looked up.

"Hold on. How did you guys get ahead of me?" he asked.

"Come on." said Ash. "Something happened, didn't it?"

"Uh…no, nothing happened." said Sophocles, brushing it off.

"Something's bothering you." said Mallow.

"You can talk to us." said Lillie.

"Don't be shy." said Lana.

"You can always tell us the truth." said Ash.

"Ash is right." said Kiawe and Sophocles sighed.

"Mm. The truth is…" said Sophocles.

"Huh?" they all said once Sophocles told them.

"You're moving?" asked Ash.

"Yeah." said Sophocles.

"When?" asked Mallow.

"Next week." he tells her.

"And where to?" asked Kiawe.

"It's really far away, I think." said Sophocles.

"As in, another island of Alola or out of the region?" asked Hayley.

"Yeah."

Everyone sighs at this, feeling sad for their friend. "See? I knew this would happen." said Sophocles. "That's why I didn't want to say anything."

"Maru. Maru!" cried Togedemaru, jumping into Pikachu's arms.

"Pi. Pikachu." said Pikachu.

"Lucario." said Meeko, hugging Togedemaru.

"Hey, I know!" said Ash. "Let's just act as if nothing's changed, okay?"

"Right!" said Mallow. "On the last day at my restaurant, we can all have a big dinner bash!"

"Sounds wonderful." said Lillie.

"Yeah." said Lana.

"I like it." said Hayley.

"No sense being sappy! We'll have a super great time, the best party that any of us has ever had!" said Mallow. "So how does that sound?"

"Great. Thanks a lot, you guys." said Sophocles.

"Then everything's settled." said Mallow.

"Awesome." said Ash.

"Sounds like fun." said Kiawe.

"Pika. Pika." Pikachu said to Togedemaru, patting her head.

"Maru." said Togedemaru.

"Do you have any plans now, Sophocles?" Kiawe asked.

"Plans? No."

"Good. Come with me." he said, motioning Sophocles to follow him.

"So cool." said Sophocles as he rides behind Kiawe on Charizard.

"Toge." said Togedemaru.

"I've never flown along with a Charizard before." Sophocles tells Kiawe.

"Make sure you hang on tight." said Kiawe.

"Okay! Whoa!" said Sophocles as Charizard flaps its wings towards Akala Island. "Look at that. Wela Volcano."

"That's right." said Kiawe. "You can see the whole thing."

"It's so amazingly big." said Sophocles as they circled around the volcano.

"You haven't seen anything yet." Kiawe tells him as they started to land in front of a cave.

"I don't know if that place is for me, you know." Sophocles said, nervously.

"Just trust me on this one." said Kiawe, taking into the cave until they reached a boiling lake of what seemed to be a rainbow water. "Here we are. This is it. My secret spot."

"Beautiful." said Sophocles, as he and Togedemaru gasped.

"I can't say just why it happens, but apparently the volcano makes the water turn that color." said Kiawe.

"(Gasps) It's really pretty. It makes me want to analyze the chemical composition." said Sophocles as Togedemaru smells the water and whimpers.

"Sophocles?" Kiawe asked.

"Hm?"

"It's just…even if you move away…." Kiawe started saying.

"Kiawe?" Sophocles asked.

"Hm?"

"Thanks for that." he tells him.

"Toge." said Togedemaru.

"Sure." said Kiawe, sighing.

"Thanks Kiawe." said Sophocles as Kiawe dropped him off at his house.

"See you tomorrow." said Kiawe and takes off with Charizard.

"Yup. See you!" said Sophocles, waving after him and sighs. "So nice. I want to give Kiawe a present, but I'm not sure what." He then looks up, thinking aloud. "I wonder what Kiawe likes." Suddenly there was a knock at his lab door.

"Huh?"

"Sophocles?" his dad called out.

"May we come in?" asked his mom.

"Of course." said Sophocles and the door opens.

"Oh. Oh, dear. You haven't packed anything." said his mom.

"(Sighs) Maybe we should leave his room like this." said his dad, walking inside. "Although, he would have to commute here and back from the new place."

"Huh? What about where we move?" asked Sophocles, confused by dad. "How do I deal with that? Isn't it really far away?"

"Yeah. That's what I said." His dad explained. "Initially, I planned on renting the house right next door to us. But I ended up having to rent three whole houses down."

"Huh?" said Sophocles, realizing his mistake.

"I tried. Sorry." said his dad.

"But cheer up!" said his mom. "It will only be for a week until we get the roof repaired."

Sophocles screamed at the new information. He now understood that he wasn't moving out of Alola.

[Sophocles' Dream]

"You lied! You're not moving after all!" shouted Ash as Hayley and Meeko covered their ears.

"Stop! I didn't lie!" said Sophocles, trying to explain.

"Yeah? But it's only for one week!" said Mallow as Hayley looks away. "And it's on the same block!"

"Yeah." said a crestfallen Sophocles.

"Whats the point?" Kiawe asked.

"Worrying about you was silly!" said Lillie.

"I don't like you, Sophocles." said Lana.

"Me, neither!" said Mallow.

"Me, neither! Times 2." said Ash, speaking on Hayley's behalf.

"Nor me!" said Kiawe.

"Hm!" said Lillie, turning her head away.

"Meh!" said Lana as she and the others walked away.

"Hey, wait, everybody!" Sophocles called out after them.

[Dream ends]

"I had the wrong idea about everything." thought Sophocles, as he sits at his desk, worrying. "Oh! What am I going to do now?"

"I have a feeling that he's freaking out about his move." said Hayley as she and Ash walk up to him.

"Could be." said Ash, then faces his classmate. "Hey, Sophocles."

"Huh?"

"Come on, cheer up." said Kiawe.

"Remember how we all decided we should stay upbeat?" asked Mallow.

"Mallow's right." said Lillie.

"Oh. Sure thing." said Sophocles. "No. I've got to tell them the truth. Uh, guys…."

"Sophocles." said Lana.

"Uh…yeah, Lana?" he asked.

"Come with me." she replied.

"Huh?"

At Lana's house, both Lana and Sophocles stops in front of Lapras. "Hey, Lapras." said Sophocles and Lapras squealed out in response.

"Hop on." said Lana.

"Are you taking me fishing?" asked Sophocles.

"You'll find out when we get there." said Lana.

"Popplio." said Popplio. The sun was setting on the ocean as Lana and Popplio took Sophocles on a ride on Lapras. "Wow. We're really a long way from shore." said Sophocles.

"I know." said Lana, jumping down from her seat. "But it's a special place."

"Huh?" said Sophocles, then looks back out at the ocean. "This is it?"

"Just wait." said Lana. "An amazing thing happens right here on this spot."

"Really?" he asked.

"Yup. If you're lucky." she said. The sun continued to set as Sophocles and Lana waited for the amazing thing to happen. "I guess you are!" said Lana.

"Huh?" he said as Lana points out into the water. Jumping out of the water, was a gigantic Wailord. "All right! That Wailord's huge!" exclaimed Sophocles.

"Togede!" exclaimed Togedemaru.

"Wailord!" bellowed Wailord as it was on its back in mid-air and splashes back into the water.

"Wow. That was so amazing." Sophocles said in awe.

"Sophocles?" asked Lana.

"Huh?" he said.

"I hope you'll remember Alola's ocean." said Lana.

"Oh, Lana." said Sophocles, feeling guilty as he turns away from her.

"Something wrong?" asked Lana and he shakes his head.

"It's nothing. Thanks." said Sophocles. "How can I tell them after all this?"

"Huh?" said Ash as he and Hayley were trying to figure out what kind of gift Sophocles would like.

"You've made that noise about 20 times." said Rotom.

"Well, Rotom….Sophocles is one hard person to give a gift to." said Hayley, climbing up to the loft with Meeko.

"Yeah." said Ash. "We both want to give Sophocles a nice good-bye present, but I don't know what to give."

"Pika." said Pikachu with a sock in his hand, holding up a sock to Ash.

"Lucar?" asked Meeko, holding up a different sock.

"Pikachu." said Pikachu, shaking his head.

"I know! Leave it to me!" said Rotom.

"Should we even know?" asked Hayley.

"Lucari." said Meeko.

"Yeah?" asked Ash, ignoring his sister. "What are you thinking about?"

"Sophocles' passion is his programming and his Pokémon is Togedemaru." said Rotom. "So, what's something that neither one of them could do without?"

"Hm…" said Jordan, looking down at Pikachu.

"Huh? Is this a test? Uh…" Ash said, thinking.

"Tick, tick, tick, tick, tick…." said Rotom.

"There's programming and something they can't do without." said Ash, thinking aloud. "Uh…thinking, thinking."

"Pika?" asked Pikachu.

"Time's up! The answer is electricity." said Rotom.

"Yeah, you're right." said Ash.

"Therefore…." said Rotom as Hayley takes away the sock away from Pikachu.

"Huh? Pik?" Ash then snatches up Pikachu. "They can't have Pikachu."

"Pika." said Pikachu.

"Of course not!" said Rotom. "I'm thinking about an electric type Pokémon whose skills are well-skilled for both of them!"

"Rotom, you're a genius! I know exactly which electric type Pokémon we can give him!" said Hayley, smiling.

"You do?" asked Ash. "What?"

"We could go out into the forest…" said Hayley, leaning to her brother and tells him her plan.

The bell rings the next day. "This is my last chance. I've got to tell them today!" thought Sophocles.

"Now don't forget." said Ash.

"We meet at Mallow's restaurant at dusk." said Kiawe.

"But I…" said Sophocles but was cut off mid-sentence.

"Hayley and I will meet you there." said Ash as Hayley and Meeko giggled. "Later."

"Pikachu!"

"Lucario!"

"Yeah, me, too." said Kiawe.

"Uh, okay." said Sophocles.

"I'd better get moving too." said Mallow.

"Steenee!"

"Me, too." said Lillie.

"See you." said Lana.

"Yeah. See you." said Sophocles as everyone left him and Togedemaru alone in the classroom.

"We've got to find it this afternoon." Ash said to his and Hayley's Pokémon. "Let's give it our best shot."

"You guys heard him." said Hayley. "Let's do it!"

"Pika!" said Pikachu.

"Cario!" said Meeko.

"Ruff!"

"Salandit!"

"Corio!"

"(Meows)"

"Pikipek!"

"(Hoots)"

"Give me a signal when you locate it, please!" said Rotom as they take off in different directions. Outside of Mallow's restaurant, Sophocles stood at the door with Togedemaru, whimpering as they both looked inside. "What are you going to do, Sophocles? There's still time." Sophocles thought. "You tell Mallow and she tells everyone else."

Just as he looks up, Sophocles sees Mallow standing at the door, causing him to gasp in a panic. "Hi! You're really early, Sophocles." said Mallow, opening the door.

"Yeah, but the thing is, Mallow, you see…" Sophocles said, trying to find his words.

"Hey! Come in!" she tells him.

"Ah!" he screamed.

"Dema!" said Togedemaru.

"Since the party is in your honor, why not sit back and relax." said Mallow once Sophocles was in a chair.

"See." said Steenee.

"The thing is….the thing is…." stammered Sophocles.

"Alola." said Lana, entering the restaurant with Lillie close behind.

"Alola." said Lillie.

"Alola." said Kiawe and Mimo, coming in after Lillie.

"Wow, you guys are early too!" said Mallow. "Alola! Mimo!"

"I told her about the party and she said she really wanted to help out." said Kiawe.

"I'll do my best." said Mimo.

"Uh, Sophocles, you're already here." said Kiawe, noticing him.

"Guess so." said Sophocles.

"I'll decorate the room with these pretty flowers." said Mimo, getting yellow, pink and blue flowers out of the bag Kiawe was carrying. "I'm way, way better at this than my big brother!"

"Yeah." said Kiawe, chuckling nervously.

"Mallow, is there anything I can do to help you out?" asked Lillie.

"Yeah, me too." Lana chimed in.

"I'd love that. Thanks." said Mallow. "All right! Let's make a bunch of delicious dishes for Sophocles!"

"Yeah!"

"Want to help, Kiawe?" Mimo asked.

"Sure! Who doesn't love playing with flowers?" said Kiawe.

"Rockruff." barked Rockruff, calling out to Ash, Hayley and the others.

"Rockruff! Did you find it?" asked Ash, carrying a case.

"Pika." said Pikachu.

"Ruff." said Rockruff and shows them the hole in the ground.

"Good job, Rockruff." said Hayley.

"Lucario!" said Meeko, smiling with pride.

"All right! Start digging!" said Ash and Jordan.

"Pika." said Pikachu as he, Litten, Rockruff and Meeko started digging.

"Stop! Check it out!" said Ash, seeing the Pokémon they were looking for. "Is that it?"

"That's definitely it!" said Rotom.

"Awesome!" said Hayley as Ash reaches for the Pokémon.

"And one…." grunted Ash, then gets an electric shock.

"I'm glad I wasn't the one to grab it from the ground." said Hayley.

"Lucar." said Meeko.

"Man! Does that hurt!" said Ash. "Argh!"

"But worth it!" said Hayley. As the clock on the restaurant wall ticks away, Lana becomes a little worried. "Mallow? Ash and Hayley are late." she said.

"The food's going to get cold, so, let's start!" said Mallow and holds up a dish with a mini-Sophocles on it. "Ta-da!"

"Hope you like it." said Lillie as Sophocles gasped.

"Here." said Mallow, placing a bowl of Pokémon food in front of Togedemaru. "This is yours, Togedemaru."

"Toge!" said Togedemaru, happily.

"So yummy!" said Sophocles as he tastes the food. "Everything's so good."

"Maru." said Togedemaru.

"I'm happy." said Mallow.

"Me, too." said Lillie and Lana nodded.

"Now, let's say a few words to Sophocles." said Mallow. "And remember, we're upbeat!"

"All right, then. I'll go first." said Kiawe. "Sophocles, you take good care of yourself."

"Wherever you go." added Mimo.

"Uh, sure." said Sophocles.

"Also, be sure to remember Alola's blue sky when you're outside on a clear day." said Mallow.

"When the sun sets, I'll think of the happy times." said Lana. "There are so many!"

"You know, when I first arrived at the Pokémon school, you were the first person to talk to me before anyone else did." said Lillie, tearing up. "I'll always be grateful for that. Thanks, Sophocles. I'm sorry. I swore I wouldn't do this, but…"

"Lillie, don't cry." said Sophocles.

"Now it's your turn, Sophocles!" said Mallow, taking the attention off of Lillie.

"(Gasp) Okay, you see…." said Sophocles and suddenly the door to the restaurant opened, revealing Ash and Hayley.

"Sorry!" said Ash and Hayley.

"You're really late, Ash and Hayley." Mallow scolded them.

"We know!" they said.

"We were looking for the perfect present!" said Ash.

"And we weren't leaving the forest until we found it." said Hayley.

"Pikachu!" said Pikachu.

"Lucario!" said Meeko.

"Sure hope you like it, Sophocles." said Ash as they all stood outside of the restaurant.

"Charjabug." said Charjabug.

"Whoa, a Pokémon." said Sophocles as Charjabug came out of the carrier.

"Charjabug, the Battery Pokémon, a Bug and Electric type, the evolved form of Grubbin." said Rotom. "Charjabug stores electricity and can share it with other Pokémon."

"Oh, it took us a long time to find one." said Ash.

"And several electric shocks later by Charjabug." said Hayley.

"Amazing!" said Sophocles. "I've always wanted to catch a Charjabug!"

"Really? Well, now's your big chance!" said Ash.

"Mm. Ah! Okay, ready?" asked Sophocles.

"Toge." said Togedemaru.

"Now, use Zing Zap!" said Sophocles.

"Toge!" said Togedemaru, using the electricity she had in her body and spins out. "Toge!"

"Charjabug! Charja!" said Charjabug, using Discharge on Togedemaru after throwing her off.

"Charjabug's using Discharge." said Kiawe.

"Togedemaru!" squealed Togedemaru.

"Awesome." said Ash. "It's absorbing energy with Lightning Rod."

"Pika!" said Pikachu.

"Use Zing Zap once more!" said Sophocles and Togedemaru does so.

"Togedemaru!"

"Charja!" Charjabug was knocked flat on its back.

"Now, go, Pokeball!" shouted Sophocles, throwing his Pokeball.

"Charja!" said Charjabug, flipping itself back up so it would be captured.

"Yee-haa!" said Sophocles, proud that he caught Charjabug. "I just caught a Charjabug."

"Good for you, Sophocles." said Ash as Hayley smiles.

"Pikachu." said Pikachu.

"Lucario!" said Meeko.

"Thanks so much." said Sophocles.

"And this is from me." said Lillie, handing him a lei of flowers, causing Sophocles to sigh. "No matter where you move, please stay the wonderful Sophocles we all know."

Sophocles cries at her words as she said it. "When you're low, feel the Alolan spirit." said Lana.

"And if you need anything, remember, we're always here for you anytime." said Kiawe.

"Anywhere. You just let us know." said Mallow.

"For sure." said Ash. "We'll come help you out, no matter how far away you are!"

"Yeah." said Hayley.

"Pikachu." said Pikachu.

"Steenee."

"Lucario."

"Vul."

"Pop."

"Maru." said Togedemaru, tearing up.

"You guys…." said Sophocles, about to start sobbing and within a few seconds, he starts wailing.

"Maru!" wailed Togedemaru.

"It's going to be okay." said Ash.

"We'll see you again." said Mallow.

"That's not it." wailed Sophocles. "It's just…..it was a misunderstanding. I'm moving, but it's really close by and I'm only moving for a week. I'm sorry. I feel like such an idiot."

"Come here, Togedemaru." said Hayley, picking the Roly-Poly up and drying her tears.

"Togede." said Togedemaru, once Hayley was done.

"What a relief." said Ash.

"Huh?"

"You don't have to leave." said Ash.

"He's right. Not moving means we don't have to say goodbye." said Mallow.

"And you don't have to leave the Pokémon school." said Kiawe.

"Yeah." said Sophocles.

"You'll be here." said Lillie. "We can stay together like always."

"Yeah."

"Besides, Sophocles….you're not an idiot." said Hayley, then points to her brother. "I already have someone who fills in that role from time to time."

"Hayley …" grumbled Ash.

"Don't worry, Ash." she tells him, placing a hand on her hip. "You're still family. I would be lost without you."

"I'm so happy!" said Lana.

"Yeah, I'm really happy too!" said Mallow.

"Me, too!" said Lillie.

"Wow, you guys." said Sophocles.

"Toge." said Togedemaru.

"That's right. I didn't tell Togedemaru yet." said Sophocles, then turns to his Pokémon. "Guess what? We don't have to move a long way anymore."

"Maru?" asked Togedemaru.

"You don't have to say good bye to Pikachu and Meeko." Sophocles explained, showing Togedemaru the simulation again. "You'll be close to each other as you ever were. Yup. It was nothing but a big misunderstanding."

"Toge." said Togedemaru. "Maru! Demaru!" Togedemaru jumps out of Hayley's arms and onto Sophocles, sending out electricity before jumping onto Ash and Pikachu.

"Okay, everyone!" said Rotom. "Uh, say cheese!" As Rotom starts taking photos, Togedemaru shocks Hayley and Meeko, then Kiawe.

Narrator: In spite of Sophocles' moving misunderstanding, or maybe because of it, our heroes have grown even closer.

Hayley, watching the others deal with electric shock: Yeah, especially of you get shocked by Togedemaru.

Narrator: Isn't it great to have friends, as the journey continues!
