To my readers-I decided that instead of making 2 huge volumes of A Ketchum's journey, I decided to make them into 4 separate volumes. Volume 1 will contain the Kanto and Johto regions, Volume 2 will contain Hoenn and Sinnoh regions, Volume 3 will contain Unova and Kalos regions, last but not least, Volume 4 will contain Alola and Galar regions. I want each and every one of you to know that if you personally don't like the way I'm writing the fanfic, then you don't have to read it. I will not reach through my laptop to force you to read any fandoms that I write for because you can probably find a lot better fanfics in those fandoms over mine. Even if you can't find what you're looking for and still don't like the way I write it, then I encourage you to write your own. Happy Reading!

I DONT OWN POKEMON. I ONLY OWN MY OC AND THE CREATION OF HER REGIONAL POKEMON TEAMS. ALL REGIONAL POKEMON TEAMS WILL BE POSTED AT THE BOTTOM OF THE CHAPTERS FOR MY OC.

Shoutouts:

Narrator: Ash, Hayley and their friends are glued to the TV at Professor Kukui's house and the excitement has obviously affected everyone. I wonder what they're watching.

Hayley: It's better than watching Alolan Detective Laki, I can tell you that.

Rotom, popping up behind her: Hey!

Meeko, glaring at Rotom before taking a swipe at him: Lucario

An Electabuzz on TV was dressed in a baseball uniform, throws a fast ball towards the batter. A Gyarados was up at the plate, swinging its tail to hit the ball. "And Gyarados gets all of it!" shouted the announcer as Ash and Hayley gets worked up in excitement. "It's a powerhouse screamer slams, right into the wall."

Gyarados starts running through the ground as it makes its way around the bases as the crowd cheers. "Awesome! Yes." said Ash, leaning forward on the table. "This game's getting so good."

"Real good." added Hayley, popping up under her brother as Kukui and Rotom appeared on either side of them.

"All right, two outs, a runner on first, and here comes batter number four, Oluolu!" said the announcer and the crowd cheers again. "The final win for the Magikarp team to clinch for the season hangs on what Oluolu does with that bat."

Electabuzz grunts as it throws the ball at Oluolu. Soon as Oluolu swings the bat and makes contact with the ball, it heads straight for Exeggutor. "And Oluolu gets it all." shouted the announcer and Exeggutor flings backwards. "The ball flies high above Exeggutor's outstretched neck! The Magikarp wins with an out of the park, walk off home run!"

"So cool!" said Ash with tears in his eyes. "I want to play Pokémon base too!"

"Oh, Ash…" said Hayley, patting her brother's shoulder as Kukui smiles behind her.

"Lucario." said Meeko.

"And the Pro League Pokémon Base season champs are….the Magikarp!" said the announcer.

"Alola!" said Kukui, entering the classroom.

"Alola, Professor Kukui!" said his students.

"So, did everyone watch the Pokémon Base game?" he asked.

"Yeah."

"He hit the ball like, bam! Then he ran like (grunts)" said Ash, demonstrating what he and Jordan saw on TV. "He slid like, wee! It was so amazing!"

"Oh brother." said Hayley, placing her head on the desk, feeling embarrassed by him.

"Right, Pikachu?" asked Ash.

"Pika." said Pikachu.

"Oh Hayley." said Meeko, as she felt bad for her.

"I keep wondering why he and I are related." Hayley said to her Pokémon.

"If you ask me, it was Oluolu's final play that clinched their final victory for the season." said Kiawe.

"He's the best!" said Mallow. "He's from Alola, right?"

"He's from Melemele Island too." added Sophocles.

"Yeah? You know everything." said Mallow. "Are you a big fan of his?"

"I guess so." said Sophocles.

"I want to hear everything about it!" said Lana.

"I think it would be fun if we played, don't you?" asked Lillie.

"Guess what? Pokémon Base is what today's class is about." said Kukui.

"You mean it?" asked Ash and Hayley, gasping.

"Professor, I don't know the rules." said Lillie, hand raised.

"Me neither." said Mallow.

"Are you going to teach us, Professor Kukui?" asked Lana.

"Not me, but I asked a great Pokémon Base coach to come do just that." said Kukui as he walks over to the classroom door.

"Uh, what coach?" asked Ash.

"Alola, class!" said Oluolu, walking inside the classroom.

"I can't believe it." said Kiawe.

"It's Oluolu." said Ash.

"Cool." said Jordan, as Snorlax walks in behind Oluolu.

"Oluolu?" asked Mallow.

"No way." said Lana.

"Autograph." said Sophocles.

"And who's that standing behind him?" asked Lillie.

"(Grunts) He graduated from this Pokémon school with a Dugtrio of honors." said Principal Oak.

"Are you really stuck behind Snorlax?" asked Hayley, as the principal shakes his head.

"Are you sure you're not stuck?" Meeko asked.

"I'm Oluolu from the Magikarp, your own Trapinch-hitter!" said Oluolu, making a Pokémon pun.

"Huh?" said the older students.

"One person doing Pokémon puns is fine, but not another one." said Hayley and the others agreed, nodding their heads.

"Maybe the principal taught him that when he was in school here." said Mallow.

"Probably." said Lana.

"Pro League Pokémon Base keeps Oluolu very busy, but he made time in his tight schedule to come and have visit us today." said Principal Oak.

"Professor Kukui have told me earlier that his students have a keen interest in Pokémon Base." said Oluolu.

"He's got that right." said Ash.

"Yeah." said Hayley.

"Lucario." said Meeko.

"Class, isn't that wonderful?" Kukui asked. "Today, we'll be taking a special look at Pokémon Base with Oluolu himself."

"Pokémon Base! This is going to be great!" said Ash.

"Komala!" said Komala, yawning from a tree.

"Now, play ball!" said Rotom. "We've learned all the ins and outs of the game from Oluolu, so let the game begin!"

Everyone was outside and even though she wasn't playing on the field, Hayley was wearing the uniform and keeping score. "And first to take the field is none other than Team Kiawe!" said Rotom.

"When I'm on the mound, every bit of strength I have goes into the pitch." said Kiawe.

"Pitching, number three, Kiawe! Catching, number four, Turtonator!" said Rotom.

Turtonator catches the ball that Kiawe throws towards it. On the side of the field, Mallow was warming up her arm. "Steenee, feel the heat!" said Mallow.

"Third base, number one, Mallow."

"Steenee!" said Steenee, catching the ball with one of her leaves.

"First base, number five, Steenee!"

"All right! Snowy, here it comes!" said Lillie, rolling it.

"Right field, number six, Lillie!"

"Vul!" said Snowy, getting the baseball in her mouth.

"Left field, number two, Snowy!" said Rotom. "Unlike a Pro League game, today's competition uses a triangular playing field, with each team consisting of three trainers and three Pokémon as well. Since Hayley is younger, she's going to keep score."

"You know, Rotom, I actually volunteered to keep score." said Hayley, sitting not far from Kukui, Oluolu, and Principal Oak.

"Lucario." said Meeko.

"And here on call, Principal Oak, Kukui and Oluolu will take care of the play-by-play action." said Rotom.

"This is a triangle base game, with no second base to step Lumineon." said Principal Oak.

"With six players on the team, I modified the rules and told them to Exeggcute, Exeggcute, Exeggcute…" said Oluolu.

"Ok…." said Hayley.

"Moving on. Allow me to introduce you to Team Ash." Rotom said, moving to the scoreboard.

"Yeah. Home run king, that's me." said Ash, holding a bat in his hands.

"Catching, number one, Ash. Pitching, number two, Pikachu. First base, number three, Popplio, third base, number four, Lana, Right field, number five, Sophocles, Left field, number six, Togedemaru. And on the scoreboard with me, is Hayley and Meeko."

"Let's see how far Ash can hit the ball." said Hayley.

"Cario, Lucari." said Meeko.

"Watch me, Rowlet! Rockruff! Litten!" said Ash, walking up to the plate. Rockruff barks as Rowlet trills away as Litten curled up on the ground. Behind Turtonator, there was a Scyther.

"Scyther. You're the umpire. Thanks a lot." said Ash.

"Scyther." Scyther replied.

"Awesome." said Hayley as she and Scyther high fived.

"Here it comes, Ash!" shouted Kiawe, after getting a good feeling of the ball.

"Bring it on!" shouted Ash as both boys get fired up.

"What will it be?" asked Lana, hiding behind the scoreboard.

"An out or a home run?" asked Hayley, hiding behind her.

"I think that's an out." said Meeko, squinting at the ball..

"Inferno Overdrive Ball!" shouted Kiawe, throwing the ball to Ash, causing flames to appear around it.

"Look out!" shouted Ash, swinging as lightning surrounded both him and the bat. "This is everything I've got! Gigavolt Havoc Swing! Oh!"

"Scyther!" shouted Scyther, as Ash spins and grunts for a moment, saying that Ash was out.

"Good call, Scyther." said Hayley when Ash falls to the ground.

"Scy, Scyther." said Scyther as the others on his team gasped.

"He missed it." said Lana.

"Listen, Ash. You've got to keep an eye on the ball." said Sophocles.

"I know, I know!" said Ash.

"If that doesn't work, I know exactly what will." Hayley tells him.

"You do?" asked Lana.

"Yep. I kept a lot of diaries, both at home and on our adventures about what I did to him." said Hayley. "Plus, there's a few things that are actually a sore spot for him."

"Oh!" said Lana and Sophocles, looking through a list that Hayley had for Ash.

"Inferno Overdrive Ball!" Kiawe shouted again, throwing the ball at Ash, who misses again.

"Sc! Sc! Sc! Scyther!" shouted Scyther.

"Oh!" shouted Ash.

"That was a lousy call." said Rotom.

"But it's still a strike." said Kukui as Oluolu and Principal Oak folded their arms, nodding their heads in agreement.

"Scyther! Scyther!" shouted Scyther, explaining its call.

"It's a strike." said Kukui as Hayley walks up to him, pointing to her idea from her notebook.

"Right. I'll hit everything that comes to me." said Ash.

"Cori! Cori! Cori! Cori! Cori! Cori! Oh!" said the Oricorio and Harmony, cheering for Ash.

"Hey, Ash!" sang Hayley, once Kukui nodded his approval.

"What Hayley?" he asked.

"You know, I still think that a certain girl from back home would be a great sister-in-law one day!" Hayley said, taunting her brother a bit before he growled at her.

"Let's see." said Rotom as Ash's team was out in the field. "What ball is our pitcher, Pikachu planning to throw?"

"Pika." said Pikachu.

"Pikachu! Show 'em some of that ol' pepper, buddy." said Ash.

"Cario! Cario!" cheered Meeko, dancing for her honorary brother.

"Give me your best shot. Whatever it is, it's gone!" said Kiawe, standing at the plate.

"Pika…" said Pikachu as he got into the moment, jumping into the air. "Chu." Pikachu throws the ball at Kiawe with his tail. Kiawe yells as he swings the bat, making contact with the ball and hits it straight up. "Pika!" said Pikachu as Ash gasps.

"Oh no! Could this be a…." said Rotom.

"Say it's not so! A popup?" asked Kiawe.

"Right here! It's mine!" said Sophocles, running back and forth under the ball. "I've got it! I've got it!"

"To the right! No, to the left!" said Ash.

"Which way?" asked Sophocles, then screams as he trips.

"Remarkable popup." said Hayley as Sophocles catches the ball.

"Cario." said Meeko, tilting her head to the side.

"Yay! He caught us!" said Lana.

"Toge! Togemaru." said Togedemaru, running in front of Sophocles.

"Well, of course." said Sophocles.

"Burn it in here." said Mallow, grunting as she hits the ball into the field.

"Popplio, make a balloon." gasped Lana as she catches it, tossing the ball towards Popplio.

"Pop!" said Popplio, creating a balloon just as it goes in.

"And you're out." Rotom said to Mallow as she runs past Popplio. "Nice play, Popplio."

"Pop! Pop!" squealed Popplio, clapping her fins.

"Now, that's teamwork I can get behind!" said Oluolu, clapping as well.

"Steenee! Steenee!" said Steenee, swinging the baseball bat.

"Pikachu!" said Pikachu, throwing his pitch.

"Go Steenee!" shouted Mallow. "Knock the cover off of that ball!"

"Steenee!" squealed Steenee, spinning around as her leaves made contact with the ball and is thrown straight for Togedemaru.

"Jump, Togedemaru." said Sophocles.

"Maaaaru!" Togedemaru cried out, jumping into the air as the ball hits one of her spikes.

"What a creative catch." said Rotom.

"Yeah, but it popped inside, Rotom." said Hayley.

"Lucar." said Meeko.

"Reow!" said Litten, playing with one of the spares as it jumps up and hisses. Pikachu was up at bat. "Pika! Pika!" Pikachu called out.

"Let's see if you could hit this!" yelled Kiawe, making the pitch.

"Pika!" shouted Pikachu, hitting the ball over in Lillie's direction.

"Whoa, here it comes." said Lillie, backing up. "I know I can catch that! I read about catching a long time ago in a book. Oh, no. I'm scared! Huh?"

"Vul! Vul!" said Snowy.

"Thanks so much, Snowy." said Lillie.

"Inferno Overdrive Ball!" shouted Kiawe, throwing the pitch.

"Pop?" asked Popplio, raising a flipper which soon became red and painful.

"I've got it." said Mallow but it goes between her legs. "Uh!"

"This is our chance." said Ash, running past her.

"Turtonator, block the runner!" shouted Kiawe as Ash ran towards home plate.

Turtonator blocks Ash, who then tries to stop. "Whoa! Whoa! Whoa! Oh!" said Ash, running into Turtonator's back and caused an explosion. "Oh, man."

"I'll say." said Hayley, looking at her hair. "It's better than when Pikachu does it."

"Pika?" asked Pikachu.

"Cario, Lucario." said Meeko.

"Yeah, you're right, Meeko." added Hayley as Rotom takes a picture.

"That odd play was recorded!" said Rotom. "Now, for the last inning! Team Ash is on the offense, but one more out and the game is over. They're one point behind, with runner Popplio on first and Lana at bat."

"Come on, Lana!" Hayley called out. "You can do this!"

"You got it, Hayley!" said Lana.

"Can they make a one hit comeback for the big win?" asked Rotom.

"This is it, the pitch that ends the game." said Kiawe, striking up for the pitch. At home plate, Lana starts to imagine that she's out on the ocean with her fishing rod and gets into her stance.

"Inferno Overdrive…." Kiawe begins to say. "Ball!"

"My secret technique." said Lana, as Kiawe let's go of the ball. "Single hook fishing style!" Lana hits the ball, causing it to go high up and really far in the air, causing Kiawe to whimper.

"All right!" shouted Ash and Hayley as the ball goes over Lillie's head and out of the school yard.

"It's an out-of-the-park home run!" said Rotom.

"Cori! Cori! Cori! Cori! Cori! Cori!" cheered Harmony and her fellow Oricorio.

"Pop! Pop! Pop!" said Popplio, happily running.

"Pokémon base is so much fun." said Lana.

"Uh. All right." said Kiawe, still on the mound. "There's still the bottom of the ninth."

"Oluolu is such a dreamboat." said Jessie, holding the player's card.

"I never thought you you'd have an interest in Pokémon base." said James.

"Pokémon base? Who cares?" asked Jessie. "My heart belongs to dear Oluolu."

"We're here to catch Pokémon." Meowth reminds her, then screams as the baseball hits him in the face.

"Huh?" said Jessie and James as they looked at a fallen Meowth.

"Who did that?" asked an angry Meowth. "You lugs are gonna pay. Nobody messes with my mug!" Suddenly, Jessie screams and sees Oluolu in the school yard. "My hunk, Oluolu!" squealed Jessie.

"With four runs to three, Team Ash is the winner!" Oluolu announced.

"You really beat me." said Kiawe.

"Sorry you had to lose, Kiawe." said Ash as everyone cheered. "You sure put up a good fight. Wow!"

"Hey!" Jessie called out.

"Huh?" they all said.

"Hey kid, catch this." said Meowth, throwing the ball to Ash, who catches it.

"Wow. It's the ball we won the game with." said Ash. "Thanks a lot."

"I can't believe what I'm seeing." said Hayley as she sees Team Rocket in the school yard, then looks at Lana. "You've packed quite a punch in that swing and it hits Meowth right in the face. You gotta teach me how to swing like that."

"You're thanking us?" Jessie asked Ash. "Now that's rich."

"Huh?"

"Your gratitude undergoes the big switch." said James as Team Rocket takes off their disguises.

"My batting average is 1,000. Twerps hide in shame. The Pokémon Base world bows down at the sound of my name. Jessie!"

"When I go to bat, the bases are swirled! The sultan of swats fighting back against a tragic world! Its James."

"Its 0-2, but this dude isn't through. My glittering Grand Slam lights up the darkness night! Dig it! Meowth's line drive takes flight!"

"Team Rocket, lets fight!" shouted Jessie and James.

"That's right!" said Meowth.

"Wobbuffet!" added Wobbuffet.

"It's Team Rocket!" shouted Ash.

"Hold up! Back up a sec." said Hayley. "I need a rewind over here."

"Lucario." added Meeko.

"Whats wrong?" asked Mallow.

"I understand if James and possibly Meowth following Pokémon Base cause they're boys," said Hayley. "but since when does Jessie have an interest in it? There's no way she's that interested that kind of sport."

"You see, Jess?" James asked Jessie. "The baby Twerp has proven my point."

"That's one for the record books." Ash whispered to Hayley.

"And one that's long overdue…at least on his part." said Hayley.

"What are you doing here?" Kiawe asked.

"What aren't we doing here?" asked Jessie. "Isn't it obvious?"

"We haven't picked up your Pikachu and Meeko yet." said Meowth.

"I have a dream of getting Oluolu's autograph!" squealed Jessie.

"Oy vey." said Meowth.

"This is completely new to me." said Hayley.

"Lucario." said Meeko.

"You're a liar." said Kiawe.

"I am not a liar." said Jessie.

"You're after Pokémon and you know it." said Mallow.

"Not today, brat!" screeched Jessie.

"Can't fool us." said Sophocles. "Although I want his autograph, also!"

"Ladies first, Twerp!" Jessie screeched at him.

"I'll be right back, Ash." said . "I have something to give Meowth."

"Good idea." said Ash as Hayley slides away from Jessie.

"Hey Meowth!" Hayley called out, gaining the cat's attention.

"What do you want now?" he asked, walking over and she whispers in his ear.

"I'll cross off the ones from the Pokémon tech school all the way to Cinnabar Island, if I get Oluolu's autograph for Jessie." she whispers, showing him the notebook.

"You mean it?" Meowth quietly asked.

"Yeah. Just don't tell her where you got it from." Hayley replied, holding her hand out towards Meowth. "Okay?"

"You got it, little Twerpette." said Meowth as they both shook hands while Jessie and the others glared at each other.

"One second." said Oluolu. "Why don't we settle this dispute with a Pokémon base game?"

"Smart and handsome." said Jessie.

"My autograph will go to the winning team." said Oluolu. "However, Snorlax and I will play too, on Team School, of course."

"Oh, you're such a card!" Jessie said dreamily as she patted his shoulder. "Handsome men can be so predictable!"

"I don't care if he's the island's clown!" said Meowth. "If you want a game, let's get down!"

"Right! Then its game on!" said Ash.

"Ok….so there's fire in their eyes." said Hayley looking at her brother and friends, before looking at Team Rocket. "And only three out of four have it in theirs. This should be a fun game."

"Lucario." said Meeko.

"Are we ready?" Rotom asked as Pikachu bounces the ball on his tail. "A Pokémon Base game against Team Rocket, with Oluolu's autograph on the line. Who will win?"

"Let us win this!" screamed the girls.

"Get them good!" said Sophocles as the Pokémon cheered.

"Remember, the word lose doesn't exist in Team Rocket's dictionary." Jessie said to her team. "The only entry is victory!"

"But there's a professional on their team." said James.

"Don't worry. It's obvious they have a slow amateur on their team as well." Jessie tells him.

"Snorlax, right?" asked Meowth.

"Talk about a lack of motivation." said Jessie. "Jumbo must think they're safe with Oluolu on their team, so that's who we target." Laying on its back, Snorlax lets out a yawn.

"Good point." said James.

"You've got it." said Meowth.

"Wobbuffet." said Wobbuffet.

"We're Team…."

"Rocket!" they shouted.

"Now play ball! " said Jessie as she steps up to the plate. "Oluolu's autograph is mine, all mine."

"Let her rip, Pikachu." said Ash.

"Strike her out!" said Hayley.

"Lucario!" said Meeko.

"Pika!" shouted Pikachu, winding up his pitch in the air and Jessie follows suit, causing her fellow Team Rocket members to gasp.

"Slow down a bit." said James and Pikachu throws the ball.

"Pika?" asked Pikachu as Jessie made contact.

"She hit it." said James.

"In spite of herself." said Meowth.

"Snorlax! Incoming!" Ash shouted as the ball hits its stomach.

"Perfect aim!" said Jessie, once she stopped spinning.

"I've got it." said Kiawe, picking it up just as Snorlax starts to turn over and crushes poor Kiawe.

"(Laughs) What did I tell you?" asked Jessie. "I had it and I went with it."

"Quit gloating and start ambulating!" James called out to her.

"Run, baby, run!" shouted Meowth.

"I have to run?" asked Jessie, running in the opposite direction.

"Wrong way!" shouted James.

"Set your sulking sights on tagging first base." said Meowth.

"Of all the nerve." said Jessie as she ran in the right direction. Kiawe pulls himself out from underneath Snorlax as Jessie continued to run. "It's all for the autograph. Oluolu's autograph!"

"Here it comes!" grunted Kiawe, throwing the ball towards Rockruff, who catches it in its mouth as it does a backflip.

"I win! I win!" shouted Jessie making it to home plate.

"Out!" shouted Kukui.

"Huh?" said a confused Jessie.

"Wo!" wailed Wobbuffet.

"You didn't run fast enough!" said James.

"You bragged, now you're tagged!" screamed Meowth.

"Stupid rules are rules for the commoners." grumbled Jessie. James was up at bat and hits the ball towards Snorlax. "Again?" whined Kiawe.

"I got it. I got it." said Oluolu, catching the ball.

"Excellent." said Rotom as Kiawe laughs. "Nice play covering Snorlax."

"Wake up!" Oluolu said, straining himself as he pushes Snorlax up. "I can't do this on my own, you know."

"We're counting on you, Pikachu!" said Ash as he and the others cheered.

"Pika! Pika!" Pikachu said to Meowth as he steps up to the plate.

"Now, with Team School on offense, Team Rocket's pitcher is Mimikyu!" said Rotom.

"Show 'em the ol' pepper, yeah!" said Jessie.

"I've never seen Mimikyu so charged up before." said Meowth. "This just might work."

"It's kinda creepy." said Hayley, standing aways from Meowth. "How long do you think it'll be…(gulps) before it will attack Pikachu?"

"I hope that it doesn't, at least not today of all days." said Meowth.

"Me too." said Hayley as Mimikyu throws a hard ball at Pikachu.

"Pika!" gasped Pikachu, ducking the ball.

"Did we just see Mimikyu purposely throw that lousy looping foul ball stinker?" asked Meowth.

"Yeah and now I'm scared." said Hayley.

"Are you okay, Pikachu?" asked Ash.

"(sighs) Pikachu." said Pikachu, dusting himself off.

"Ah! Hey, that's against the rules and you know it!" Ash shouted at Team Rocket.

"It's time for a switch." Jessie said to herself. "Changing pitchers now."

"Strike! You are out of here!" said Kukui as Kiawe was up at bat.

"(Sighs) You got me." said Kiawe, walking off the field.

"Mimikyu's off the mound and Meowth's on." said Rotom. "But Team School is having some serious trouble with Team Rocket's surprisingly good pitches. Team Rocket has a one run lead going into the bottom of the final inning, which means this is Team School's last chance for victory."

"Hey, batter, miss. Hey, batter, batter, miss." chanted Jessie and James.

"I'll give them a 'hey batter miss,' if they don't stop chanting it." grumbled Hayley.

"Lucario, Cario, Cario." said Meeko.

"Who knew you could have paws and throw awesome fast balls?" asked Ash as Meowth chuckles.

"Inside these paws hide some cleverly cunning claws!" thought Meowth. "Dig it! All that strength training I did, day after day, in the rain, snow and wind has really come in handy! I'm having a ball."

"And now it's Oluolu. Batter up!" said Rotom.

"As long as I'm on the mound, you're outbound!" said Meowth, grunting as he pitched the ball at Oluolu. The ball meets Oluolu's bat, Meowth screams as it whizzed by his head.

"What are you doing?" asked Jessie as she caught the ball and tosses it to James.

"Get a grip." said James.

"All I did was let the professional have his moment. That's all." said Meowth, kicking the dirt around the mound. "I'll strike out the next bumbling batter. Dig? They're all the same."

"Now it's Oluolu's partner Snorlax at the plate." Rotom announced. "Is a comeback hit in the cards?"

"Good luck to Meowth." said Jordan. "He's going to be needing it."

"Lucari." said Meeko.

"Principal Oak, any thoughts?" asked Rotom.

"It's about time we got to see Snorlax's skills." said Principal Oak. "Rockruff and roll."

"Rockruff." barked Rockruff.

"Great….a Rockruff pun." said Hayley, sarcastically. Snorlax yawns on the plate before lifting up its bat.

"I wouldn't exactly call Snorlax motivated." said Sophocles.

"I hope it's okay." said Mallow.

"Well, Snorlax is the sleeping Pokémon, so it's not awake all that much." said Lillie.

"Yay, Snorlax!" cheered Lana.

"Show us the ol' pepper, bud, and give us a home run!" said Ash, only to get a yawn in response from Snorlax.

"Talking to Snorlax is like talking to a brick." said Meowth. "Check this! The diabolical Meow League Ball!"

"I need to explain that the Meow League Ball is Meowth's unbeatable Curve Ball, that always strikes out the batter and Meowth attained by training countless long hours." said James, talking to the audience before Meowth pitches his curve ball. The ball makes contact but barley makes it into the air. "Huh?" said Mareanie.

"Grab that, Mareanie!" shouted Meowth, as Mareanie pokes the ball.

"Over here!" said James.

"Mareanie!" said Mareanie, with love in her eyes as Mareanie heads towards James, causing him to whimper. Mareanie makes contact with James' head and drops the ball.

"Hey, this game's not over yet! Huh?" said Meowth as he sees Oluolu made it across home plate. "This is nuts! But one more out and this game is history for Team Twerp!"

"Snorlax, run!" shouted Ash.

"Yeah, run!" shouted Sophocles.

"Please run, Snorlax!" shouted the girls.

"You've got to move, move!" said Kiawe as Snorlax stood there.

"Now, time to pull out all the stops!" said Oluolu, revealing a Z-Ring on his wrist.

"Check it out!" said Ash, seeing Snorlax and Oluolu start their Z-Move.

"Passion and sweat! Tears and guts!" shouted Oluolu. "Feel the burn! Run, Snorlax! Use Pulverizing Pancake, go!"

"Snorlax!" bellowed Snorlax as it rapidly sped past Meowth, who was picking up the ball that Mareanie dropped.

"Urgh! I'm dizzy!" said Meowth, spinning as Snorlax went around the bases. "Not on my home plate!"

He then throws the ball towards Wobbuffet. "Wobbuffet." said Wobbuffet as Snorlax jumps up over it just as the ball made it into the mitt.

"Snor!" shouted Snorlax as it made its way back towards the ground, crushing Wobbuffet with its weight.

"Safe!" said Kukui.

"Is Wobbuffet okay?" asked Hayley, coming up behind Snorlax while Team Rocket sobbed and gasped at the situation as Team School cheered.

"Wobbuffet." Wobbuffet said, weakly.

"That answers my question." she said.

"Well done, partner!" said Oluolu.

"Snorlax." said Snorlax.

"Wobbuffet." said Wobbuffet, flattened to the ground and gets carried off by the wind.

"Wow. Lucario." said Hayley and Meeko, watching a flattened Wobbuffet fly away.

"That wraps it up. Team School wins." said Professor Kukui.

"I'm digging a little dugout dirt that soaked up my soul and sweat and tears." grumbled Meowth.

"Wobbu. Wobbu." said Wobbuffet.

"Now I'll never be able to get Oluolu's autograph ever." cried Jessie with tears streaming down her face. "Huh? Whats this?"

"The autograph I promised." he said.

"Huh? But we lost the game." said Jessie.

"And what a wonderful game it was!" said Oluolu. "This is my way of saying thanks!"

"And he's generous, too! Thank…." said Jessie when Bewear suddenly grabs her.

"Huh?" said James as Bewear picks him up too.

"How could you?" Jessie asked as Bewear grabs the Pokémon and takes off. "You got lousy timing! Why, oh, why, oh, why?"

"You know," said Hayley, gaining the others attention as Bewear takes off with Team Rocket. "now that I really think about it, with all the Pokémon that he has, they either all have a crush on him or think that he's food."

"Really?" asked all the Alolans.

"Yeah, I've noticed that too." said Ash, thinking back to all the times he and Hayley dealt with Team Rocket.

"When you've been dealing with Team Rocket as long as we have…you start to notice things." Hayley explained.

"And it gets boring after a while as his Pokémon grab a hold of James." said Meeko.

"Yeah….his Cacnea was better mannered than Mareanie." said Hayley.

"Thanks to all of you!" said Oluolu. "This day brought back so many memories from when I first started playing pro, long before I was a Larvi-star!"

"Oh! (Chuckles) Back when you were little and playing Pokémon Base 'Ludicolo'!" said Principal Oak, causing Ash, Pikachu, Hayley and Meeko to groan.

"Today we brought you was a doubleheader, one game between Pokémon School students, and one game between students and Team Rocket, coming to you live from Pokémon School Stadium!" said Rotom.

Hayley: To the viewers and readers at home, I didn't forget what I said to Meowth. I'm still going to get Jessie her autograph. I just don't want her to know that it came from me.

Narrator: ….as the journey continues.
