Following the day as we'll see the speciality about the Thane Corporation as Shinji, Asuka, Rei, Mari, Kenji, Kensuke, Toji, and Hikari visit the corporation whereas Ritsuko and Misato investigating Hātosutōn (Heart Stone) on the Bonin Islands. The reason for this is any relation to NERV's investigation about their mysterious attacker that killed multiple Angels and possible causes. The depth of the technology or advancements of the Thane Corporation has significant support for NERV. Everything is coming to place, as this leans towards Godzilla.
Chapter 4: Thane Corporation
Due to the incident, yesterday's delayed educational activities were canceled with the exception of a few things. So Rei, Asuka, Mari, and Shinji are going on a field trip as it's located in one of Japan's new cities, as there are some others who come along with them. A special field trip for the young pilots as they headed toward the place. The place where the one of known Thane Corporation in Japan and who were the extras or the tagalongs.
There are three youngsters who are the 'tagalongs' as they came from Shinji's school and would likely be the next EVA pilots. Toji, Kensuke, and Hikari came along with them as the one who is taking them on this trip is Kaji.
Hikari greeted Mari, "Hello, you new?"
Mari responded, "Yep, new around here."
Toji and Kensuke look at her like at odds because of how much it remind with Asuka, but seem less. Mari appeared in front of them as it surprised them as she said, "Hi there." Where Asuka looks at her as when looking at her. Well seeing a bright person like herself but keep it to herself and just focusing on her skill as an EVA pilot. "Besides she doesn't have an EVA Unit yet," Asuka thinks to herself and being the expert with experience to show what a pilot can do or be capable of fighting on. For Rei, well… she greets her present to her fellow pilot and nothing much to say.
While Misato can't join with them as much matters to come when the event happens with the red monster or the odd light. But there is something that bothers her, like the missing cargo ships, dead Angels, or the attack on Hātosutōn. Much to her dismay with Kaji taking them to a different organization as matters when the time with one group who built Jet Alone. But now, Gendo has them investigate the town for clues that can connect to anything. Whereas leaving the youngster with Kaji, and as much for the relationship back then.
Misato and Ritsuko have to leave, with Maya, to Hātosutōn due to any leads that could answer NERV's investigation of the U.N. Sub and the Angel's remains.

Osaka-3 Thane Corporation (Japan Branch) - 10:30 am (6/1/2015)
The amazing and bright city of Osaka-3, a city named after Osaka, as the scene can best say, has a positive atmosphere whereas everything else is like an echo of the past. The streets were filled with human life as the place became an infamous tourist destination like the New Ebisu Bridge. An integral role in Osaka's unique and continuing urban development for this city. Everything here is a near exact copy to the original Osaka.
"Alright kids. Have fun with the tour." Kenji said before leaving them.

Inside the building, every person from men, women, and children who were roaming around the place, as Thane Corp staff at their respective positions. Shinji sees the surroundings of this place as what he can describe on the displays as futuristic and advanced. From solar power vehicles, bulletproof fiber base armor with metal plating, fire resistance fabric, and many more, from what he can observe.
All seven of them were astonished by these developments with a lot of prototype inventions, even this place is broken up into sections for each area. Science, Military, and Technology. It was a tour through this place for themselves to be guided by one of the staff. For Kenji, well he's going to meet the head of the corporation, while leaving the youngster on the tour.
"Whoa. This is better than the time when we visit the J.M.E.P.R.O. facility." Kensuke said as this brought most of them with nervous expressions except Rei and Hikari.
Hikari wondered about their expression as Toji noticed her reaction and gave a smug look. Toji chuckled, "Don't worry it wasn't that bad…" Remembering the time where everyone entering J.M.E.P.R.O. facility.
Asuka wasn't fond of this trip as it didn't fit, but is curious about the Military section because how this corporation is so special about it. Rei is just following it through as seeing the properties and curious toward their work. Mari, Toji, Kensuke, and Hikari were amazed at the tech around this place and research.
In the Science division, researching and conducting works with multiple scientists around this area. Testing on the plant matter, medical research, reverse engineering on the red water, and many more from their view, as the tour guide speaks to her guest.
"Good evening, everyone. I'm Yuki, and I'll be your guide to the place of Thane Corporation. Named after the founder, this corporation is built on the idea for the future where we can thrive for a better tomorrow. Generation after generation, the lines of Thane pass through the early 60s, as currently our founder Alisa Thane. For what she committed to this place upon a dream of the first."
With a gesture, she pointed to the labs of the Thane Corp's Science division as among the glass window shows people in white lab coats. Even the minerals in that room as from what Shinji could see, were crystals ranging from various colors and different rocks. Yuki speaks about the Science division, "Here we can see the Science Division that conducts research like reverse engineering the crimson ocean. Even food resources being scarce around countries, would endure starvation on food shortages. We, the staff and workers of Thane Corporation, have a dream. A dream that builds on happiness for every life, and even the state of the world. From now, many organizations like JSSDF, United Nation, J.M.E.P.R.O, F.C.C, and others. Even the example that has been shown before, when given support to J.M.E.P.R.O. To help and restore the sea."
"Wow, quite interesting," Mari said.
Then it changed to a different area where there was a large digital screen showing missiles, new military tanks and vehicles, and weaponry.
Yuki tells about the Military Division, "Here, the Military Division is where we built defenses of deterrence against threats. Taking either way to save and protect. Providing support to militaries like JSSDF, with the power of chances to fight back. For a while, JSSDF weapons were deemed ineffective except for deadlier use like the Non-nuclear weapons. But there are times where winning will come at a cost."
The screen shows craters of the N² as it looks barren with nothing remains, with replaying shots of Angels that Evangelion's pilots once fought. Soon it shifted to a weapon test as a missile with silver tips then a combustion came to life and blasted off. Showing five concrete walls, the rocket goes straight through them like an arrow penetrating through many layers of paper. Then changes to steel, as it resulted the same as before.
Asuka and Mari were intrigued about how a missile was able to penetrate the concrete like it was nothing against any kind of missile.
"Here is one of a new invention, made by Thane Corporation."
Kensuke speaks aloud, "Cool."
Showing military vehicles like jets with build on design for speed, helicopter with armor and more weapons attachments, and one military jeep model that built for more speed while the other with heavy armor and turret. Then new models of tanks that correct the flaws to current world's tanks. Built for overcoming damages like heat and explosion as well as more speed that is faster than before 33.5 miles per hour to 40 miles per hour.
"Here currently under the JSSDF, these models are an advancement from the best. Are in use by JSSDF while not currently world wide."
"The JSSDF are still using old military models. Aren't they?" Rei asked.
"Correct, there's limit numbers of the corporation's models in JSSDF. Currently, JSSDF would use them for special usages."
Finally, going into the Technology division of the corporate tour as showing tech like no other from gears, machinery, and something else.
"From here, what you can all see is the tomorrow with tech like a new energy source that can power three cities in one go. Even parts for the armor on the military vehicles, except for the already made armor for the 'Jet Alone' Project as they're quite different," Yuki said to them.
Asuka asked a question to the guide, "What's so different about it?"
"Before the development of Jet Alone, the J.H.C.I planned out future models in incase for improvements and creating new lines if it was successful. But things turn for the worst due to the incident, as half of Jet Alone assets are brought back to the corporation and would later be used."
"So the corporation was part of Jet Alone? With resources from the corporation offered to them," Shinji said.
"Yes, you see. Japan Heavy Chemical Industries seek our resources for the Jet Alone with following blueprints for the prototype. Soon when Jet Alone was complete, they wanted the corporation's resources on new developments from weapons, defense, and tools."
"So what kind?" Mari question of the Guide's words.
"Well, development for Jet Alone from energy based weapons and tools like this one," Yuki said as she pointed to one corporation's invention, "This here is a electromagnetic rail cannon that generates about 3200 Megawatts and has automatic recharge within 15 seconds. One of the few inventions that was developed for Jet Alone. From energy based tools, new model weapon prototypes, and protective gear."
"Protective gear?" Kensuko asks as Yuki explains.
"The protective gear were the armor attachment that was designed to resist radiation, explosion, and extreme environments."
Then the group watches on as they see more inventions like a hovering vehicle, glasses with lenses that can send or analyze data, and nanobots.
"Woah! What are those things?" Kensuke said as Yuki told him about the invention.
"Those are nanobots are a prototype or version 0.1 micro bots for multi purposes from medical to repairing. But is still under development for further progress and test runs."
"Cool!" Kensuke was amazed by the nanobots.
Further on the Technology section, there is a sealed door that can't be seen and sealed from view as some of them wonder what kind lies in that room. To imagine these tech that will be used for the future and benefit for the world, as what advanced tech for this corporation are making.

Within hours, the tour ended with everyone back to the entrance and what waited for them was Kaji, who was waiting for them. Whereas hours ago, Kaji met one of the heads but not what he expected to see. But now, Kaji seeing Alisa sitting at her desk and judging on her expression, she expected one of NERV's agents to come.
"Welcome to Thane Corporation," Alisa greets Kaji, "I see that Gendo sent someone else for our pleasant meeting."
"I can say much about myself, but the matter between NERV and Thane Corp. Ryoji by the way."
"Hmm… Well Mr. Ryoji, I can consider what NERV would think of our alliance with our goals, that matters for humanity. The state of our world faces threats like the Angels, and how it will bring obliteration, without salvation. Fearing the worst as it concerns the possible threat that is far greater. I fear what NERV's purpose is when something much greater without morals, without reward, and without ideals. It will be a fool's errand, and cannot be achieved with settled steps."
Kaji listening into her words as he played on despite being a secret agent from a hidden party, as deep down, he knows better the right and wrongs. So right now, just playing the sides as what to say about his character but must play it right to find the truth. "For alliance with NERV is a greater responsibility to support our goals and even your corporation," Kaji said calmly.
"Indeed, Mr. Ryoji. This corporation must stand greatly and never falter towards obliteration as seeking something more to this. To reality for a better future. It's what my father and the following predecessors wish for mankind's infinite potentials by not selflessness or greed. Rather free will and liberty among the masses. There are things that are impossible to understand, right in front of us, with this. The materials from God's gifts to our corporation, as much with NERV's gift too. We both are gained by items of God in our hands and forged by our hands and minds. To EVA units and our advanced technology."
Within minutes, the conversation between Kaji and Alisa continues while the talks of shared goals, support it provides, and alliances. Kaji being the messenger for NERV as Alisa, with a warm smile, expresses acceptance and willingly to join forces. Her phone rings as she answers it and from what her expression says, time is up. Alisa said to Kaji, "Well, Mr. Ryoji. It seems the children are done with the tour."
Later, Kaji regroups the youngster as acting himself before and confidently asks them about their tour with Kensuke talking about the cool things, and Mari excitedly expresses about their weaponry inventions. Asuka commented how it could be useful for gear and weapons for the EVA Units as Rei calmly detailed the following information and logical principles from the tour. As much said for Shinji, well he enjoyed it but deep down he feels something off. Unsure what of it when…
He felt an ache in his head as it was momentary when he shook it off and saw no one there but himself. Then a sudden flash, as the area was different from before and what he saw in front of his eyes. Odd structures and beings that he can't describe when he spots something in the sky. It was big, and seeing wings that were massive.
"Woah?! What's Going on?!" Shinji said in his mind.
Then it changes to a dessert where he spots the same winged being as it hover, what to be people fleeing, and it happens. The same light from before, but it's not just shining the sky as a beaming light shot right up. When he sees two large beings engage in the battle he spots something familiar. A large silk moth fights against the creature, when a large portal appears above the sky. When it grew bright, then…
"HEY! Shinji!?"
Snap back to reality, Shinji was back to his senses as everyone stared at him when their reactions told from worry, concern, and raised eyebrows. Kensuke answered, "You okay?"
Shrugging off, Shinji replies to the group's worries as he confidently said that he feels tired or nauseous but some of them think that he's okay, there are some who aren't. Rei looks at Shinji, with concern for him whereas Asuka narrows her stare, and the same with Mari who caught her eye. But now, the matter wasn't impactful or anything at all as everyone took their leave. Leaving the corporation, as much to say about this day.

After Kaji left her office, Alisa remained silent for a while as she waited til he was gone and fully alone. Still at her desk, she presses a hidden button when a holographic screen appears over her desk. A Thane elite staff was on the screen as the staff replied to his superior where Alisa smirks.
"Have they taken our deal, Ms. Thane."
"Yes. Yes, they took it."
"What should we do now?"
"We'll follow through, and will play along with them. SEELE or NERV. They both will fall, as much for them to get the better of us. To see the advantages of having the upper hand."
"But what if they know?"
"Worry not, as our plan would be the same with what SEELE have been doing in all those years. Even having 'Dead Scrolls' that was written down and predicted the event for humanity. So what's more for uniting and transcending beyond ourselves. Besides, factors for our agenda will lead them to see benefits to hasten their goals. Even the data of their investigation with Angel's remains, as it will boost our chances to join the alliance with them."
"Remains, Madme?"
"Hmm… that… That's matters that aren't part of our plan, but are useful for our cause. It's something that we can't explain about it but I believe that our sources. The sources that can unlock the possibilities where the fools think that they're god or makers who can forge it. It's unlocking gates to our future. So what is our status?"
"Hmm… Ms. Thane, the alien technology proves some interesting progress but seems to hold more to our 'Key' for this one. It appears that it's leaving lesions to realities but it's randomized with limited time, except one."
"That one? Is it open?"
"No. Still closed, and it seems that it needs more power that can open it."
Alisa paused and thought about it as she understood that it would take a matter of time to open this one gate. Testing or creating a key to open it but it created temporary lesions to places of the unknown. But right now, all it matters is with SEELE or NERV.
Why join them? Thane Corporation plans on taking and gathering data about the only thing that they desire to have. The part of their plans. To have information. To have the blueprints. To have an army.
The information and gathering data of the EVA Units.

Hātosutōn (Heart Stone) - 11:00 am (6/1/2015)
The once habitable town lies in death and destruction where these lands were charred as the smell of smoke remains. Everything charred to the bone, as there are no standing buildings in sight, and no noise at all except NERV and the Japanese Authorities. Traveling by sea, they came to the area, as among see the destruction of Hātosutōn. Burn smell and charred wood as concrete crumbles by such force.
The day before this full investigation, a first rescue team was sent there due to transmission that was given but a few days later, they arrived and found Hātosutōn in ruins. The rescue team also finds traces of radiation that reach dangerous levels but only be found in small parts. Even finding the remains of the people who were charred, crushed by debris, or other matters that best not be told of other fates. So much death is brought to this ruined city whereas little life remains.
Survivors of Hātosutōn manage to live and escape the disaster, but there were some that paid a terrible price to live such a fate. The hours during Baragon's attack, 60 lives were sent to the hospitals within that whole day as hospital beds were filled up. Among 12 were unscathed from the Hātosutōn disaster, where 24 wounded, and even fated worse than death as 24 were heavily exposed by radiation. Within hours, the unfortunate fated to endure treatment of radiations as what will become of them, remains uncertain.

But back to Hātosutōn, Ritsuko and Misato were sent to this desolated city as much to their dismay of the devastation it had brought upon this town. Besides NERV on Hātosutōn as Japan authorities came to this part of the Bonin island.
Then came one of the United Nations special agencies that is made for such an event like this as they came to Hātosutōn. The F.C.C, Federal Crisis Control. An agency that was created upon disaster that's far greater than natural or man-made that can ever imagine. Even JSSDF are under their jurisdiction as what can be said between them are quite friendly with each other. So now, the F.C.C choppers of three landed at areas that aren't irradiated and much of their luck, one leading chopper landed near to their location. The chopper landed as the doors were open to show a man in a trench coat and looked different to F.C.C members. Soon after getting off the chopper, he heads towards Misato and Ritsuko.
From his looks, he appears to be older than the other two of them, like to be 31 years old as he has black hair, brown eyes, and a handsome jawline. Judging on his expression is a look of a serious demeanor, as he did not falter or seem to be bothered by his surroundings. Misato looking at this person and judging by his appearance is something that can match her status.
"Haruo Katagiri of the Federal Crisis Control," the man spoke to them as the two NERV members were greeted by this man. Misato was the first to reply, "Misato, Major Director of NERV. I may ask why a CEO and founding member of F.C.C, is here of all places?"
"From here, there's matters for NERV to not mind of our business as F.C.C will handle this. For what I suggest that there's nothing that can be done here, and leave to F.C.C." Katagiri calmly said to them. Misato is annoyed by his words as Ritsuko intervenes, "Sorry Katagiri but there's a possible relation here that connects to NERV." Haruo silently knowledge of her words as what can say about his character seem the type that would remain confident and smart about it. He let it slide as much care for NERV's presence in this area. Moving away from them as Haruo Katagiri observed the area while Misato and Ritsuko standing on their side of the area.
Besides, everything here is lifeless as matters did not falter between them as data were collected on Hātosutōn. F.C.C and NERV finds only destruction as even F.C.C connections with the survivor's accounts of the destroyed city. NERV just collects samples of areas that possibly lead to anything.
Then, Maya Ibuki came to Ritsuko, who came along, as having the results of the surrounding area. "Here's the results that we found on this area," Maya shows Ritsuko as it reveals a match, surprised by how this sample is here. One question is answered but two more questions take its place. "Any ideas what caused this?" Misato asked with concern.
Ritsuko explained to Misato, "The following data shows an energy reading that matches that killed the Angels and destroyed the sub. It was here as these energy readings have elements that match the ones that have been found on the Angel. This city was decimated by the same cause, but judging the surrounding areas. Areas that were supposed to be heavily radioactive and inhabitable to go near, have dropped significantly by current standards for us."
"You mean that this whole area was supposed to be contaminated but only partially."
"Correct but judging by the accounts, the survivors were highly exposed by this radiation as they managed to escape whatever." Ritsuko continues on as Misato and Ritsuko walk down among the ruins. Maya follows by hearing Ritsuko's explanation, "It has to be a greater mass to devastate this whole area, to leave greater radiation here. But the trick here is 'how' this city was destroyed. There's no massive nuclear fallout from here to the rest of the area. Why is there little radiation but greater destruction in this city as well why no danger for us."
Then Maya trip and fall as this caught their attention while Haruo stares at them when he sees the answers of the cause. Staring above them, Katagiri stands there, as see the shape and knows the answers before he meets them. Maya picked herself up as Maya spoke, "I'm okay. Sorry Ritsuko-senpai." Misato helps her out of the pit when she notices something, as the same for Ritsuko. The given impression of the pit didn't match the terrain. When Maya was on the same level with Misato and Ritsuko as she turned to see them at odds. Like noticing right in front of them, and Maya turns around to see what they're staring at. Her eyes widened as she said, "Whoa!"
The pit that Maya fell into, wasn't a pit as they saw right in front of them was a large footprint. Maya, Risuko, and Misato were surprised and without any words to say, from what they could see. Katagiri's point of view of their discovery shows more of the story as it was a trackway. These massive footprints were bigger than a human as four toes with claw prints on each of them. The impression belongs to a giant creature as the trail leads to the ocean.
"My God." Misato realized about the sudden discovery.
Haruo, far from them, took out a phone as he dialed the number and waited till someone answered his call. Haruo said on the phone, "Yes, it's him. It's Godzilla."

Then, the moment changes when a whistle can be heard afar as this caught Misato, Ritsuko, and Maya. It's coming from the beach, and so they head toward the shores. Misato wonders of the situation that is happening as her fear of knowing the thing. The thing that made those footprints, as she's afraid of the answer coming to them. Coming back to the ruined city and couldn't imagine what it was gonna do.
But what she finds, was something else and saw the Japanese authorities at the shore of Hātosutōn. Among the sandy beaches, debris is showing up as it's not just debris from Hātosutōn rather ship debris. Among the ship debris, a barely intact name of the ship as it said, "King's Return". What she sees is bodies, washing up on shore as one of them is alive but appears to be barely surviving.
One of the Japanese rescuers was attending to the survivor, when she reached the spot where remain survivor. Misato looks over as she can see the survivor, who's grasping for life as there's burn marks and injuries. She hears his grasping words to the ears of NERV, F.C.C, and Japanese authorities.
"... Help!… It… killed them… Mon… Monster!"
Soon, he fell unconscious as without anything to say, Misato couldn't move as she stared at the crimson sea. Ritsuko and Maya look on, as the bodies of the King's Return lay lifeless as Maya is shocked to see such carnage that is reaching its toll for this day. On that day, a trail of destruction is rising and leaves its wake with lives taken by a force of the past.

John was at his desk after the action he did and there he remained back to his normal life as currently what he can do after yesterday. Even watching the news about the battle between EVA units and Baragon, spread like wildfire. Pretty much said of the cost and damages has properties, housings, buildings, or even vehicles whereas the unfortunate casualties. Even the news about the strange symbol that he created, but much media were still focused on the battle.
Then, a sound of a bell can be heard as this caught John's attention, and headed to the door. He opened and saw two men with letters on their shoulders, F.C.C with the small letters at the bottom that says Federal Crisis Control. They were dressed in black suits and one of them greeted him.
"Professor Brown. May we come in? Relax, we mean no trouble." F.C.C man asked as John paused for a moment and let them go inside.
"Sure thing gentlemen." John said as he welcomed them, and the F.C.C men entered his home.
The scene changed to his office as two men sat on their chairs whereas John at his desk. "May I ask why the F.C.C are here?" John asked the two of them as one F.C.C answered his question.
"We're here for you, Mr. Brown. We came to seek urgent matters." F.C.C member spoke to John, "It's important that we need for factors to come and create a special unit of F.C.C."
"For what need for me? I don't see the type that can be useful in any matters for F.C.C from a professor who knows biology, mathematics, ecology, or physics. But is there anyone else who has better skills?" John said to the F.C.C.
"Professor Brown, you're one of few that were picked for this program that can help our cause and expertise on such events like this." F.C.C pulled out a file as he lay upon John's desk, "Remains of Angels were found 425 miles from Tokyo-3, and a submarine with damages that has appearances to be claw marks."
John looks at the pictures and reads through the documents as he finds details of an unknown creature that has spikes on its back and produces radioactive energy. The identification of the creature was on those files as this caught his eye. GODZILLA. This has some questions about the name as he asked his guest, "Godzilla? What is it?"
F.C.C explains, "A creature from Odo Island is exposed to nuclear testing, and attacks Tokyo, leaving casualties. Godzilla was killed by a chemical weapon."
John was curious as through each page that described the creature as there are physiology, ecology, and principles from all the information about Godzilla. Detailing the use of a heat ray that can burn buildings or even melt metal, animalistic aggression towards human civilizations, and cultural influence on Oda Island. John was done reading as he looked at the two men, and they awaited his answer.
The F.C.C member explains the reason and details about Godzilla as much for choices to be made. John agrees as both men understood his answer. Agreeing to join, the men of the F.C.C provide information about Godzilla.

7:30 pm (6/1/2016)
The investigation has taken a turn for NERV and the authorities because of finding large footprints, has changed everything. Even the timing of the survivor was short lived and perished at arrival to the hospital. Too much for disappointment. Misato and Ritsuko were unable to gain more information or clues, just only the news of fate for the cargo ship. Hikari, Toji, and Kensuke left with their parents and went to their home where the other four were picked up by Misato.
"So how was it?" the major asked the Eva pilots.
"It's okay…" Asuka said distantly as she played on her phone.
"I found it… agreeable and shared interesting details of their technologies." Rei said with her usual deadpan tone.
"It was fun. I enjoy seeing how they invented tech and find it quite interesting how their inventions work." Mari cheerfully said as she adjusted her glasses.
"Amazing, never imagine a company to create incredible inventions," Shinji answered with some joy, something Misato liked to see. As so, Misato chuckled with their reaction and the positive moment in her car, as well the variety yet somewhat similar answers. She continued driving, when suddenly she noticed something large was coming up from the sky and it was heading straight towards them.
"What in the world?" Misato was puzzled at what she was seeing.
With a quick reaction Misato shouted to their attention, "Everyone hold on!" as she swerved her car to avoid the falling object. With a loud crash, Misato's car barely avoided the object as she stopped at the edge of the road.
" 'cough' 'cough' Is everyone alright?" Misato weary asked the pilots.
"WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT FOR MISATO!?" Asuka shouted at the sudden action Misato took. Shinji rubs his head as Mari fixes her glasses, and everyone in the car is okay except her car because the crash manages to destroy the ends of her blue car. Still got wheels, but facing how she is going to repair that, or even part to replace it. When Rei turns and look behind.
"Pilot Langley…" Rei pointed out as Shinji, Mari, and Asuka turned behind them to see a good size boat, that's been totally destroyed as it was covered in burn marks and tearing metal. A boat broken in half as seeing there are no crew or anyone, of course no one is on the boat, but only wreckage. Misato, meanwhile, sighs in relief that the teens were okay, whereas even the thought of her car, "Thank goodness that everyone is okay… and my insurance agent may have a trip to the bank. Hope it is not that bad? Right?"
A couple minutes later, Misato looked at her car and saw the back… is quite… a wreck. Everyone was outside of her car as Misato called to NERV after stepping out of her car. Seeing the back of her car as one fourth of her trunk is gone, twisted rear bumper, and losing the left tail light. "Oh no!" Misato thought after stepping out of her car, "I mean, at least it did not get any worse." Then suddenly, a loud metal thud as she turned to what it was and spotted an anchor, landed on the roof of her car.
"OH COME ON!" Misato shouted in her mind while being dumbfounded at what just happened.
A few hours later, Misato was standing near the wreckage along with Ritsuko and her assistant Maya, as they investigated the wrecked boat. The whole area is investigated by the Japanese authorities from Police officers setting up yellow tapes. The matters for the pilots weren't present as Misato remains where she was, while NERV's head scientist tries to find anything but samples of the boat. Until finding one sample as it was swab and placed in her MAGI equipment. Ritsuko asks her friend, "How's the pilots?"
Misato looked at her and answered, "Section Two already escorted Shinji and Asuka to my place while Rei's at her apartment as well for Mari."
"Good, now with the collected samples from the boat, it looks like something attacked it for sure. MAGI is analyzing whether or not it can tell if the material was caused by Angel or not." Ritsuko says while Maya looks through the data, currently analyzed by the MAGI equipment. Misato awaits for the results from them as after a few moments where Risuko and Maya with both eyes widened in disbelief. Caught by their reaction, Misato asked them, "What do the results show?"
"It's not Angel Material, but… the sample shows the same ones," Maya paused and shocked at what the results are showing, "The ones that killed the Angels and energy traces from Hātosutōn."
"What?" Misato asks in confusion and shock.
"The MAGI analysis shows a substance on the boat to be organic and matches to the samples from ones we found. Even it detects the same energy traces from Hātosutōn and the Angel's remains, though not enough to be harmful." Ritsuko explained.
Unknownst to them, the boat's radio began to make static noises while it slowly adjusted and focused as the volume grew louder. This caught their attention as Misato spoke about the noise, "What's with that noise? Is that music?"

The music was loud as it started to play where Ritsuko heard it too and quickly understood the logical explanation.
"It's the boat's radio. Seems like it's malfunctioning." Risuko says to both of them.
"Huh?" Misato, with a raised eyebrow, looked at the boat.
"Must be that after the crash, the power in the boat jump starts itself and-" Maya shared their reaction and did the same case with Ritsuko. When the police's car began to play the same music as this caught some of the officer's attention.
"Hey?"
"What?"
"What the?"
Misato, Risuko, and Maya stare and confused in what is happening, as the officers on that area notice their radios playing the same music. Meanwhile, a car where Shinji and Asuka sat while being sent to the apartment. Shinji looked at Asuka and was about to ask her when the car's radio started to play.
"What the?" The driver wondered about the radio, "That's odd? I didn't turn on the radio?"
Both Shinji and Asuka listen and stare at the car's radio when the driver turns it off, then a few moments later it turns back on.
"What the hell?" Driver shock about his car's radio.
Then, Mari was staring at the nightly sky as she recollected today's event when her radio started to make static noise. "Hmm?" Mari reacted to her radio when she took it out by checking what's wrong with it, "Did I press something? Is-" Before, she could answer when the music started to play on her radio.

Amongst the land of the moon as numerous coffins displayed where there lies a blood red stain and there was a base belonging to NERV. Tabgha Base, the 7th Branch of NERV, stationed in Mare Tranquillitatis of the Moon. A station that sat near the construction site as railings and metal were not an expansion of the base. But something more to it, a large humanoid laying motionless while being used for SEELE's secret project. But it's not the only thing that sets the matters that set apart for this site.
There stood a young man with light-gray hair while not being affected by the vacuum of space whereas no physical harm. Crimson irises looking up at planet Earth as he's one came from those coffins. He isn't human as this person is Kaworu Nagisa.
"Looking forward to seeing you. Shinji Ikari."

The calming night over the crimson seas as the surface remains calm when suddenly, swell starts to rise and fast. Three rows of maple shape dorsal fins, cutting through the surface of the sea like a shot of an arrow piercing through paper. Godzilla surfaces from the depth of the red abyss as he heads southeast.
