Chapter 2: Good Egg Galaxy Part 2
Star 2: A Snack of Cosmic Proportions
BOOM!
Back on the starting planet Mario immediately heads down the castle bridge this time making his way to the other side. The bridge leads to a twisted pathway with stairs leading up to it beside the tower. Constant comet streams of Star Bits are also falling all over the place coming in very handy. At the pathway's end is another Pull Star Luma waiting…
"I've got a hungry friend up ahead…" said the Luma. "You don't mind sharing your snacks, do you?"
The Luma transforms into multiple pull stars leading up to the Launch Star…
SPIN! POW!
Now on the Pear planet Mario is surrounded by enemies, two more Launch Stars, and star bits galore. One leads to the Egg planet while the other leads to the Rock Planet which is part of a network with the Pear planet. Collecting everything, he smashes the crystal containing one of the Launch Stars that takes him to the Rock Planet…
SPIN! POW!
Flying through he passes through another Launch Star leading somewhere else that we will avoid for now…
"There sure are a lot of Star Bits this time around." said Mario.
The rock planet contains more boulders that Mario smashes to gain even more Star Bits alongside a sling star leading to more items. Two more Launch Stars here leading to the other planets Mario takes the one progressing him forward…
SPIN! POW!
Finally on the Egg planet the Hungry Luma is there waiting along with a few enemies and even more Star Bits. Two more Launch Stars are here again that lead back to the other planets once more. Let's finish this mission though…
"Hey, you!" said the Hungry Luma. "Yeah, you!" "Got any Star Bits?" continued the Hungry Luma. "If you feed me a bunch of Star Bits, I'll burst with snacky happiness and then transform!" "I'm famished!" finished the Hungry Luma. "I need 100 Star Bits to curb the hunger pangs!"
As Mario feeds the Hungry Luma it begins to swell up until completely full…
"That's it… I'm stuffed!" said the Hungry Luma. "Here we go… TRANSFOOOORM!"
The Hungry Luma spins into a ball of light and moves nearby exploding into a whole new planet. A pink Launch Star also appears leading to the now newly formed Tower Plant…
SPIN! POW!
This grassy filled planet has multiple enemies, crates, and stone pathways leading up to the top where a Launch Star is waiting. Trekking up the tower Mario fins another 1-Up mushroom halfway through…
SPIN! POW!
Mario now arrives on the Pill planet, which is a giant pill shaped glass dome area. Many crystal-encased Star Bits and electoombas appear on the exterior. Near the bottom is a circular entrance blocked by another crystal. The interior consists of a blue and red gravity field background that changes up and down as you walk past. More Star Bits and electoombas reside around as Mario make his way up to the top…
"This gravity field can sure make u dizzy." said Mario.
At the top Mario is surrounded by a bunch of goombas and hits the Launch Star before they can catch him…
SPIN! POW!
Landing on the final planet at last, we can see the Power Star right in the middle of it. This is Star planet which is nothing but a giant star with blue star chips all around it…
"Hmm, blue star chips." said Mario. "I'm guessing they make a pull star right Luma?"
"You got it Mario." said Luma.
Grabbing all the star chips they form to make 5 Pull Stars placed on all the end points on the planet. Mario uses a few of them and collects his third Power Star…
YOU GOT A POWER STAR!
Star 2: Mission Complete
Location: Terrace Dome
You discovered a new galaxy!
"Well done, brave explorer!" said Polari. "You discovered a new galaxy!" "Collecting Power Stars will expand our range of vision, perhaps to eventually include the enemy base…" finished Polari.

Location: Good Egg Galaxy
Star 3: King Kaliente's Battle Fleet
BOOM!
Back on the starting planet Mario immediately notices a Launch star on the house's roof. Let's advance this quick in classic Mario style with a simple triple jump…
SPIN! POW!
The Launch takes Mario to some tropic planets and immediately as he lands sees a purple toad trapped in a crystal. Across these planets are a flurry of coconuts, spiky plants, crates, goombas, and pools of water…
SMASH!
"Woooooo, you saved me!" said the Toad as he twirls around. "Thanks, Mario!" "In return, let me tell you a secret about this place." finished the Toad. "Apparently those spiky things just HATE coconuts!"
Mario smacks a coconut at the biggest spiky plant which reveals a sling star that propels him to the next planet…
SPIN! BLING!
On the next planet is a Big Pokey that slams super-fast almost striking Mario…
"Whew, that was close!" said Mario backflipping away.
Mario finds a quick coconut and strikes the Big Pokey leaving only the head which he defeats revealing the next Launch Star…
SPIN! POW!
The Launch Star takes him to a tiny rock planet with a sling star, rolling chomp, and pipe. Mario enters a singular spherical area with goombas and another question mark coin. The coin reveals a Rainbow Star which is a rainbowed version of the Super Star. Mario exits after wiping out the enemies and collecting the Star Bits traversing forward…
SPIN! BLING!
The sling star takes Mario to the underside of the Chomp Saucer planet where all sorts of things are going on. Around the bottom are several goombas, electric rails, and cannonballs falling from the top into a miniature black hole…
"I sense something big is about to go down.' said Mario.
"We can do this!" said Luma.
On the upper portion Mario is now surrounded by a tall structure with platforms around and leading up to its top. Also on the structure are cannons shooting bullet bills and chomps from every direction. Electoombas reside walking back and forth on every platform making this a bit more difficult…
"You got to give Bowser his credit." said Mario. "He definitely upgraded with this new star power."
Reaching the top Mario frees another Launch Star that takes him to an airship…
SPIN! POW!
Upon landing two giant gray octoombas called Roctos are shooting coconuts from an adjacent airship blocking its bridge. Mario sees a green Toad trapped in a crystal nearby and frees him…
"Your attacks won't reach those mean-looking aliens!" said the Toad. "But here's a great idea!" "What if you tried to bounce something back at them?" finished the Toad.
Mario smacks a couple of coconuts back at the creatures defeating them and lowering the bridge.
"Great job, but you've got to keep going!" said the Toad.
On the last airship are a bunch of electoombas on platforms leading up to the Launch Star. Quickly defeating them Mario frees the Launch Star that takes him to King Kaliente's domain…
SPIN! POW!
Arriving on the King's territory a Luma stops Mario and warns him beforehand…
"Be careful!" said the Luma. "There's big, big danger up ahead!" "If things get really bad, don't forget to heal yourself!" finished the Luma.
Boss: King Kaliente
Walking up to the top King Kaliente emerges from his giant pool of magma enraged at being disturbed. He starts off shooting fireballs at Mario before shooting a coconut after. Moving around and jumping to dodge his tentacles Mario smacks the coconut back inflicting damage.
"Pow!" said Mario. "Take that!"
Once more King Kaliente strikes again this time rebounding the coconut back to Mario who responds knocking his crown off…
"SQUEEEEE!" roared King Kaliente.
Now furious, King Kaliente slams down into the magma and rises back up releasing ice lava bubbles at Mario.
"Ahh, too cold!" said Mario getting hit by one.
Once more King Kaliente shoots fireballs and a coconut at Mario repeating the sequence. After bouncing it back a third time Mario damages King Kaliente once more defeating him. King Kaliente wails as he sinks back down into the magma releasing the Power Star…
"Good one Mario!" said Luma. "Let's take this star back and visit a new galaxy!"
"Wahoo!" cheered Mario grabbing the star.
YOU GOT A POWER STAR!
Star 3: Mission Complete
Location: Terrace Dome
The next galaxy revealed is the Honey Hive Galaxy…
