Here's another chapter of the Diamond-verse, with new members so read it and tell me what you think. But I will do the RTTE and Nine Realm after this.
Back at the old Blight Industries, Odalia with Sendak behind her. In Odalia's mind, she remembers her past, her marriage to Alador, her family, the birth of her children, but when things took a different path, Luz came into the picture, this ruined every thing and yet she saved the Isles from Belos and the Collector especially when Belos became a fungus, parasite dragon. But the people didn't forget nor forgave Odalia for her role she played in helping Belos. Not even her own husband and children forgave her in fact she was disowned and lost her company, and by that her youngest daughter took over the company and gone from a weapons contracting to new technologies and transportation.
Then Terra returns after freeing her plant tentacles, from the ice that were stuck to a couple of tree from Luz's attack. She stood before the former CEO, she gave Sendak the stare, the Galra general readies his weaponize prosthetic arm, only to be stopped by Terra's plants that pops grabs him by his legs, his real arm, and his neck, and heavily wrapped the three times larger prosthetic arm.
Odalia questions to the former head of the plant coven: "Alright, I get the Collector, Luz the human, King the last Titan. But who was the other human?" To which Terra answers: "Well technically he isn't fully human. He is magic. Not like us, he's is something else. Like how Sendak, Zhoa and Wolf are." This made Odalia mad at first, glaring at the former head of the plant coven. "No, no, no this a good thing, a very good thing. It means the gateway works. This means there are other worlds to conquer and by extent we may find some that could have your family in it. You know what that means? We just need to kill a few humans, and you can have it all, all the power and as many families you want." She tried to get Odalia see the possibility of everything she could ever get. With that, she gives Sendak the signal to stand down, which he does, then Terra releases him from her vines.
"Fine Terra. Just make sure you get my gateway working." Said Odalia as she walks away, to which Terra says finishing the sentence: "Our gateway." Terra spoke in a sinister tone.
In the forest, Luz, King, Collin and Steven are walking in a line together, Luz says to the group: "Okay guys. King, Collector and I know of a place where we can lay low for a while." She said as they reach the end of the forest, there is the Owl House.
Collector says to King and Luz: "Guys I just…wanted to apologize for getting involved with all of this." King says to him, in an understandable tone: "Collector, I know you're going through a lot of things." Luz adds in agreement: "And let me guess, this guy became your new teacher hu?" Steven answers on his own behests: "Yeah. I've been teaching what I know." He said of his teaching to the Collector.
Collin says regarding his methods: "Let's just his teaching methods may be bit…unorthodox." He explains, this made Steven mad a bit. "But in the moment of the situation, I came out and he came through as a pretty good teacher." He corrected himself, this changes Steven's expression from mad to happy.
At the edge of the forest they reach their destination. "Here we are, home." The destination is the Owl House, they walked up and Luz knocks on the door. "Yeah, yeah, yeah. I'm coming hold your unicorns." Eda's voice was heard from behind the door.
She opens the door, to reveal herself, she sees her student, her adopted son, the child of the stars and is happy to see them, she turns to Steven. "So who are you?" She asks him to which he answers: "I'm from another-another dimension. From a small place called Beach City." He explains himself.
"Well, come on in." She said as the four entering the house. "So what you got yourself into this time Collin?" To which he questions her: "What…why you assuming it's me?" He felt he's the sources of the problem. "Okay, apparently when I was in the gateway stream I must've brought him here by accident." He said regarding Steven's presence.
Eda speaks to them: "Okay, guys come with me." They follow Eda to the basement they see a spider web of Odalia and her associates in her plan of the gateway including former Emperor's coven guards, scientists, and a few former coven heads especially the heads of the illusion coven, potion and Terra of all others. "Eda, did you do all of this?" Collin asks seeing the photos and the chain of command of the guys involved with this plot.
Luz answers for this web of clues: "Not entirely. Me, King, Eda as well as Raine and few of our friends. We gathered as much intel as we could." She explains of how they gathered as much intel and clues from sources helping.
"We knew this is a dangerous but the only ones who can stop Odalia is us." Eda spoke of the situation. Luz: "This is dangerous. We're going to be outnumbered." King disagreeably says: "I don't think so guys." Eda speaks up with a sly smile: "You might need these." Offering name tags and markers.
The human gem, cosmic child and good witch human senses something and turns around to see multiple different colored eyes in the ceiling darkness. Eda asks them: "Did you think you were the only strays I've picking up all day?"
The first one to step out of the darkness looked exactly like Steven, except he was dressed as a detective from the 1930s and was black and white, and his trenchcoat was somehow blowing in the wind, despite being indoors. "Hey, fellas," he said with a smirk as he tilts his hat up. "It looks like you've stumbled into my little world of multiversal mysteries and mayhem."
"Is he in black and white?" Luz asked as she squinted at the detective. "And where's that wind coming from? We're in a house." Steven asked as he looked around the room.
"Wherever I go, the wind follows. And it smells like rain and cigarette smoke," the detective Steven replied, taking a drag from a cigarette. My name Steven Universe. But you can call me Noir; the name suits me well." He exhaled a cloud of smoke dramatically.
"Hi, guys!" A feminine-sounding voice announced as a genderbent version of Steven stepped out next. She had the same messy hair and confident grin, but her voice was softer and her clothes were more colorful. "My name is Nora Universe. It is nice to meet you all."
Then a 18 year old girl with pinkish skin standing in a layback stance she is wearing a light blue shirt, with a biker jacket with symbols on the back, long black pants, and sneakers, she has her ears pierced and the back of her hair tied into a ponytail, her side hair is short but the rest of her hair is long, says her name: "Hey there, name's Kipo Oak. It's a pleasure to meet you."
And the second to last one is a young man with green hair he's a fit young man of Japanese origin wearing a green suit, white gloves, a torn yellow scarf and black boots, then he says to them: "Hey there. My name is Izuku Mydoria also known as Deku." He bows to them showing his Japanese culture of greeting.
"This cannot get any weirder," Steven said with his eyes half closed and was in disbelief. "It can." An anthropomorphic rabbit that was about as tall as Eda said. "Eh," he chomped on his carrot, "what's up, doc?"
The rabbit's ability to speak startled the group as they turned to look at it. "Whoa, a talking rabbit?" The Collector exclaimed, his eyes widening in surprise. "I stand corrected; this is definitely getting weirder." Steven said.
Origin montage for the three new characters. I'll let you decide which order to do them in. Noir says first: "In my universe it's 1952, and my Gems and I are Private investigators, I like to drink milkshakes and like to fight Nazis a-lot."
Nora explains next: "In my universe I'm from a small town called Beach City California. My Gems and I protect the earth from Homeworld and I try to ensure my mom's legacy as the defender of the earth." She said with her legs crossed looking cute.
Then Izuku speaks: "In my universe, the world is a super human society, with 80% of the population possessing some uncanny abilities. And I am the 9th wielder of the quirk One for All." He spoke of his own origin of his world.
Kipo Oak speaks her story: "In my universe, I'm from a post-apocalyptic world where animals have come something called Mutes. There are three categories. Some are multiple limbed creatures that retain their animalistic traits. Some have became sentient based species forming their own groups and tribes. Then there's the Mega-Mutes basically larger, and multiple limbed and body part creatures that are more animal. My parents wanted to ensure humanity survival so they combined Mute DNA, creating me a half-human and half-mute girl." She said with a smile on her face.
Bugs Bunny finishes the introduction: "And in my universe I'm basically a rabbit who gets in all kinds of trouble. I almost get shot by Elmore Fud, Yosemite Sam, and many others. My associate is Daffy Duck who I trick him into getting shot some time but there are occasions where we work together." He finishes his story.
"So how did you all get here?" The Collector asked them. "It's a long story." Noir replied. A comedic montage of all the new characters painfully landing on the Boiling Isles and their reactions.
"Okay, maybe not that long." Steven Universe Noir explains himself. "Now, we're just trying to get back home." Nora added feeling sad by this news.
Noir speak of the way back: "The only way home is through that gateway gizmo. The only trouble is…" Izuku adds speak of the problem: "One of us must stay behind to destroy it." Noir nods in agreement as he points to Izuku stating he's right.
Everyone minus King,Eda, Luz and Collin: "I'll do it." But Collin steps up and says: "No, no, no. You guys don't get it." Kipo asks with her arms crossed: "Don't get what?" Then all the new members and Steven started glitching till they all fell to the floor, for a moment till they stop glitching.
"None of you guys can stay here. If you stay here, you'll die." Luz spoke of the reasons why them staying is more dangerous than destroying the gateway. "I'm the guy who's gonna turn it off. But I'm going to get you all home before I do." He said to them, "Look, in a way I brought you here. So I should be the one to send you guys back, and that's a promise and I indented to keep it." He said to them feeling responsible for bringing them.
As the group of other dimensional beings were inspired by his words, Noir asks him: "Sorry but, who are you again?" To which Steven answers to his doppelgänger: "This is the Collector. And he is gonna save the Multiverse." Collin replies simply: "Yep, I will."
Steven walks up to the Collector and adds regarding his powers: "He can shoot lasers from his finger tips. He can do it, right now." So he tries to aim his finger like a gun but the one time he tries to do it, his power isn't working. He even grunts trying to. "I'm sorry Steven, I'm trying but my powers haven't been working right all day." He apologizes, to which the main Steven speak in agreement: "Yeah, his powers are being difficult at the time. But they're still cool." He spoke while the group minus the members of the Bad Girl coven are being skeptical of Collin's ability.
"Show them something else." Steven tells the Collector of something else he can do, Kipo asks him: "What can you do?" Collin answers not with words, but by turning Steven into a live action size toy. This shocked the whole group, Eda says to them: "Relax, he did once when he was taking over the Isles. Now Collector…" Collin replies to her: "I know." With a snap of his fingers he turns Steven back to normal.
He breaths heavily, then says to Collector: "Wow! Collector, you can do that?!" Collin replies to him: "Yes. I gotta admit, I use to view mortals as toys. I was going through some emotions and I didn't know right from wrong." He explains himself.
Luz walks up and says to the Star Children, human-mute, the ninth wielder of One for All and the bunny: "You have to understand. Collin's been trapped in between the dimensions for millions of years. He never had the ability to grow and adapt. In fact if you knew his species you'd be shocked." She stated to them of Collector's past actions which he still feels guilty of his past actions.
King speak to the group of dimensional beings: "Now as for the bad guys we're up against aside from the the former head of the plant coven, she has a werewolf, a man who can summon and control fire and a purple man with a large prosthetic arm that's three times his real arm's size." He explains to them of the villains there might be up against.
Then Steven Universe Noir walks up to the Collector and says to him: "Ok, little fella, this Odalia character's gonna send a lot of mugs after ya, I'm talking hard boys, real biscuit boxers. Can you fight them all off at once?" He said as he readies his fist into a boxing stance. Collin hesitates as he gets into a fighting stance mimicking Noir but replies: "Well, I, I haven't actually fought anyone…" then Noir quickly attacks too fast for Collin to see or react, while he said: "Surprise attack!"
The Collector tries to fight back but the fighting style the black and white Steven's using isn't what he's familiar with he's even pinned down, then Nora comes in asks him as she joins in the fight: "Can you re-wire a mainframe while being shot at?" She asks in a serious tone to which confuses the cosmic child, which he questions: "Can I what?"
"Show me!" The gender-bender version demanded to the cosmic being, which he can't fully understand. "Surprise attack!" Noir punches Collin in the face knocking him down. King seeing his friend in trouble asks: "Should we stop this?" Eda says to her adopted son: "Call this educational tough love. Oh, looks like Luz is getting involved." She sees her personal apprentice joining.
Luz picks up the Collector, grabs him by the shoulders and spoke to him eye to eye: "Can you summons plants with glyphs to swing and flip with the grace of a trained dancer?" She asks then flips him over which causes him to scream as he yells only to be caught by Izuku.
"Can you close off your feelings so you don't get crippled by the moral ambiguity of your violent actions?" Asks the young superhero in training to this one also in training. Bugs Bunny asks him: "Can you float through the air when you smell a delicious pie?" This also confuses the Collector who still questions: "What?"
Then Kipo joins in, and uses her jaguar claw arm and asks him as he dodges her attacks: "Can you be strong?" Then Nora ask him as she grabs him by the shoulders from behind: "Ruthless?" She then throws Collin as Izuku grabs him by his neck collar: "Disciplined?" He then puts him down for the Collector to answer the various questions: "I don't know, maybe…" before he can finish the sentence Bugs hits him with a cartoon hammer while yelling: "BOING!"
The Collector was now on his knees and arms, Noir yells at him like a drill sergeant: "Show me some moxie, soldier!" He said to him, but Collector can't keep up. Then Izuku says to him: "Above all, no mater how many times you get hit, can you get back up? Can you go beyond the limit?"
Nora adds to the training as she speaks: "Because when a Star Child is on the floor…" Luz speaks as well: "When you think you've given your all." Bugs Bunny adds: "When you think you can't keep going…" Izuku finishes: "A hero always gets up. Go beyond, plus ultra!" He finishes then the overwhelming by all of this Collin says to them: "STOP!" He creates a shockwave of energy that sends everyone even those not actually participating flying to the walls. "I'm sorry! I'm so sorry!" Steven Universe says to Collin as he gets up: "No, no. It's okay. We overwhelmed you. Guys, let me talk to him, I know him a bit longer than most of you." He takes arm around the Collector's shoulder and they leave the basement.
The rest gets up, Eda asks to the others: "So we got time to kill. What you do for fun?" She asked them and they all had different ideas.
Outside at the town of Bonesborrow, on one of the many billboards, the child of the stars and the Star Child sat on the edge, Collin says to him: "I'm sorry back there. I-I lost my temper." To which Steven puts his hand on Collin's back says in reassuring tone: "No, no, it's totally normal what you did. They gave you too much. At least you didn't turn into a giant pink monster that took your family to turn you back and you ent up butt naked." He laughs remembering his past and find it funny in the end.
"That happened to you?" Collin questioned his new mentor of his past, to which Steven answers: "Yeah. There was a lot of mental issues. But Collector, you're different from me and the others. That's a good thing." He said knowing that individuality that can help. "I know the teachings can be complicated. The Gems use to give me a lot of hints and details, but I could never get it right on the first try." He spoke of understanding the complexity and what it's like to have teachers trying to tell him how to use his powers.
"Did you ever had other people to help you?" Collin asks him, to which Steven answers: "Yeah. I had my girlfriend Connie, and my dad Greg. Speaking of which, my dad met my mom when he was a one man band traveling across the country. In fact his band name was Star Child. So that makes me a Star Child too." He explains his nickname's origin. "And my mom, let's just say I have some issues with her." The Collector asks him: "What kind of issues?"
"My mom's done terrible things. But looking back, the other Diamonds have done far worse. My mom may have started a war, popped but never killed her friends. Keeping her identity a secret from her friends even faking her death. But she never meant any harm." He stated his mother past mistakes. "And I felt I had to clean it up, which I did. But looking back, my mom was like me at one time. And I guess when I look at you, it's like looking at my younger self." He said looking at the Collector.
Collin was smiling a bit, "Now, I gotta go. Whenever you're ready meet me back at the Owl House." He jumps and flies back to the house.
In the city after Steven left seeing through his prosthetic eye is Sendak and with him is Zoah and Wolf. Sendak says to his fellow generals: "The child's alone. Target acquired." Zhoa says to the others: "Alright, you know what to do. Capture him and bring him back to Odalia." The Fire Nation admiral said to the other two, the genetically made werewolf say with an eager look and is ready to pounce: "Oh yeah, it's huntin' season."
With that, Collin senses something wrong he jumps just as a purple blast destroys the billboard. The child of the stars lands on the ground, he's surrounded by the other two warriors. Zhoa says to the child: "Give up boy. You're surrounded by us." But he doesn't he just runs, he dodges the firebender's fire.
Collector was now forced to hide behind a pile of clothes, among the people watching is Lilith and Hooty who happened to be passing by in the town. She sees the purple alien, and werewolf searching for him.
Wolf says calling out for the child of the stars: "Come out, come out wherever you are." They search still, then Wolf starts sniffing, and then he grabs him from behind the pile clothes and pulls him up. "Nice try kid. I may not know your stench, but I could smell your fear a mile away." He said, but Collin uses his powers and with his hand in a finger gun he shoots him with a beam of light sending the werewolf falling backwards. Collin says to his hand regarding his powers: "Now you work? Seriously, are you kidding me?" Before he could fully understand Zoah comes in as he walks towards him, but Collector gets up and runs like crazy.
Zhoa still chases the Collector to a open market when the child of the stars walked behind the stand, a table is pushed pinning him from the waistline Collector picks up some hand made baskets as shields by throwing and blocking Zoah's fire attacks.
But soon he runs out of baskets, he tries to use his powers again but alas no avail. "Really?! How can I use powers if I'm under fire?" Zhoa readies his fist for the final blow, but then a woman hits him with a broom while exclaiming: "How dare you?! How can you do that to a child?!" She kept hitting him, allowing Collin to run from the Fire Nation admiral.
As Collector kept running trying to return to the Owl House, he trips and falls down, he looks behind to see his right leg caught by Sendak's three digit claw arm. Collin tries to free himself, but cannot, Sendak walks to him surely thinking he's won.
"Once I bring you to Odalia, I will have the glory, maybe not as glamorous as Voltron. But just as good. And with your power, we can open a portal to numerous of universes. Universes waiting to be conquered." He said, but before he could reach his victory he's pushed violently by Hooty.
"Hoot-Hoot!" Said the bird…tube…thing, who turns to the Collector, "Heya Collector! I see you made some new friends." He spoke in a chipper and high tone, the rest of his body was connected to the small bird house that's on Lilith's back like a backpack. "Lilith? What are you doing here?" Asked the Collector in shock.
"I should ask you the same question. Who and what is attacking you?" She asks seeing the firebender, Galra and werewolf walking towards them. "It's a long story." Said the Collector.
Lilith sighs rubbing her eyelids then stops, and says: "When this is over, Eda and I are gonna have a discussion about this." She said in a stern tone. "Now go, we'll hold them off. Hootifer, could you be a dear and hold them off please." To which the owl like creature joyfully replies: "No problem Lulu." Then he turns to the three warriors, all in warriors stance. "Special delivery! (Dark deep voice) Pain!" He starts fighting them allowing the Collector to escape, unknowingly being watched by Terra in the high buildings hidden in the shadows.
