Chapter 9: Pokémon tech
Once the trio leave cerulean Ash and misty battle a few trainers until one with rattata tells them about aj and how he has been undefeated. Once the trio are infront of the gym aj has just arrived and asks them which one of them are going to become his 99 win to which Ash and Misty say that they will be the challengers so Aj leads them inside his gym.
Ash goes first and he decides to use his newly caught venonat against Ajs sandsherw. The battle starts with venonat using tackle which sandshrew counters with a tackle of its own and the two Pokémon collide with each other. Ash then calls for poison powder which sandsherw try's to doge but fails and gets poisoned. After this the cycle of tackling continues until sandshrew faints and Ash wins which makes this ash first loss.
This loss shocks aj and he gets mad and tells our trio to leave which they do as they don't want to stay any longer even though misty was supposed to battle aj next she didn't want to deal with ajs anger so the trio leave and make their way to their next destination.
As the trio continue on their journey they decide to take a break and have some lunch with Ash going out to find some fire wood with eevee. While looking Ash and eevee run into a boy who is running on a treadmill while answering questions from the other boys that are around just as Ash was about to intervene the boys leave and Brock and Misty catch up to Ash.
Ash asks the boy if he's okay which the boy says he is and introduces himself as Joe from Pokémon technical and begins to tell the trio all about it and show a picture of a girl called gizelle and Ash wants to teach this girl a lesson.
The four of them find Gisele and Ash challenges her to a battle with him using eevee and Gisele using cubone with eevee taking the win. Team rocket the show up and are defeated by everyone.
Our trio then leave and wave bye to everyone and continue on the road.
