Pidge looked around the room and tried to forget the fact that she was currently flying solo in a room potentially filled with anti-voltron extremists. She flicked back the waist length hair that had been attached to her shorter hair for her disguise and breathed through the nerves. Taking another look around the room she surveyed the inhabitants of the room. Everyone looked rich and perfectly normal in their expensive attire. A black tie meet and greet for all the bad guys. Unbelievable. When Kolivan had called and asked for her help she had been hesitant but Keith was on leave and they needed someone who wouldn't be recognised. And she had spent the whole war under disguise as a man.
So here she was, dressed to the nines in a slim silhouette halter neck dress with splits up both sides of the legs and an open back. Fake alien markings had been painted on her face and make up applied around them. Heels she was surprised she could manage to walk in gave her a boost of at least three inches in height.
Her eyes landed on a mysterious figure in the corner of the room with a face covering watching her. he had been watching her for the past twenty minutes and she was starting to get antsy. Lifting the glass of what she assumed was alcohol to her lips she pretended to take a sip and spoke into her ear piece.
"We have a problem."
"What is it Pidge?"
"Hang on."
Dropping the glass on a serving tray she made a calm and measured exit into the bathroom down the hall. Making sure the coast was clear and the room had no listening devices she looked into the mirror at her foreign looking reflection.
"I think someone made me."
She could hear the frown in Kolivans voice when he replied. "How?"
"I don't know but someone's been watching me for the last twenty minutes. They've noticed me."
"Could it be that they've just noticed your looks?"
She rolled her eyes. "No Kolivan!"
"It could be."
"We need to move this timeline up and have an exit strategy pronto."
"See if you can get the data. We'll make sure you've got a ride."
"On it, stand by."
A small noise outside the door had her reaching for the small blade strapped to her inner thigh. Keeping it hidden at the small of her back she carefully opened the door and had a second to react as she was roughly yanked up against the wall. Her small blade came up to the front of her assailants throat as her back roughly connected with the wall.
"Careful." She murmured. "I'd hate to mess up my dress."
A small shimmer crossed her vision before she was staring into familiar eyes. "What are you doing here Pidge?"
Her eyes widened and she removed the blade from her friends throat. "Keith?"
"Keith?" Kolivan's voice in her ear jolted her out of her shock.
When he just raised a brow she blinked, noting absently as he dropped his own blade from the side of her neck. "I'm on a mission for Kolivan." She turned her head slightly but kept her eyes on him. "What is Keith doing here?"
His eyes narrowed. "Is that Kolivan?"
She nodded. As Kolivan told her he had no idea why Keith would be there. He stopped mid speech.
"You have company coming."
Her eyes darted to the rest of the hallway then back to Keith. "Company."
He tilted his head. "One guard. Heavy footsteps. He's close."
Her eyes widened. "Shit. What do we do?"
"Trust me?"
Something in his eyes had her taking a moment before answering. "Always."
The word had barely left her mouth before she was lifted up to her toes, her right leg wrapped around his hip and his lips were on hers. Frozen in shock for a moment she melted into him as his thumb rubbed back and forth over her outer thigh. His lips left hers and redirected to her neck. She tilted to give him more access, giving herself the option to half close her eyes and keep an eye on the hallway. His teeth nipping her neck had her breath hitching.
"Don't you dare bite me." She hissed quietly, one hand going to his hair to tug at the strands, the other holding on for dear life at his shoulder.
She felt more than heard his chuckle against her throat. Noticing the guard in the corner of her eye come round the corner she grabbed his head and yanked it from her neck to kiss him again. The guard snorted but kept going down the hall muttering something about kits these days.
When the footsteps had receded enough Keith pulled back and let go. "Okay?"
She nodded. "What are you doing here?"
"I came to get the data."
"So did I."
"Pidge you're not even an operative."
She turned and started down the hall. "Well considering you were on RnR, I'm not recognisable and I'm trained." She shrugged and spared a look over her shoulder at him as she reached for a door handle.
He sighed and followed her in the door and found an office with a computer in the centre. He took a moment to look around the room as she hacked into the computer.
"Since you're here. Why don't you keep a look out."
He resisted rolling his eyes and opened the door a crack to check the hallway. He listened to her type at the keys and start a download as he kept an eye on the hallway. After a few minutes he heard the guard coming back and swore softly.
"Pidge, we're about to have more company."
"Odds?"
"He's checking every door."
She swore turned the computer screen around so that it couldn't be seen and looked around the room. Her eyes landed on him and he saw a strange look cross her face. "Uh Pidge."
"Come over here."
He frowned but closed the door silently and crossed the room to her. "What's the plan?"
She turned around so her back was to him. Reaching up she pulled her hair to the side and unclipped the halter of her dress. He froze as she dropped the strings. "Okay get right behind me and hitch up the back of my dress, not all the way though. Don't want my thigh holster and knife visible."
"What?" he hissed. "Put your dress back up!"
"Keith!" she grouched. "fastest way to get this guy out of our hair is to make it look like he's interrupting and make him leave now pull up my dress and grab my hips."
As the footsteps reached the other side of the door Keith sent up a silent prayer and did as he was told. Stepping forward he pulled up the skirt of her dress and stepped up against her back hiding his blade inside the material at the base of her spine. She leaned forward, blocking the view of her front as the door opened.
"What the-"
Pidge moaned as Keith growled. "Out!"
The guard sputtered. "But sir"
"Occupied!"
Apologising profusely the guard retreated and closed the door. Once the coast was clear Keith shakily retrieved his blade and jumped back dropping her hips. Standing back up straight she reached for her dress and lifted the fabric to cover her chest. She tried a few times to relatch her clasp before a familiar heat aligned with her back.
"Here, let me help."
"Thanks." She murmured as he took hold of the fabric. She made sure her hair was out of the way and her chest was covered as he clipped her halter in place.
"How much time do you think that bought us?"
She snorted and threw him an amused look over her shoulder. "I think we'll have plenty of time after that little show."
He ignored the heat in his cheeks and turned towards the door. "ETA for the transfer?"
"We're at 80%, couple of minutes. Kolivan, gonna need an extraction."
"I take it we'll be extracting you both?"
"Yep." Turning she looked at the blade in his hand. "You got someplace to hide that?"
"Yes."
"Then put it away, we're out of here." She pulled out the drive and stowed it in a small pocket attached to the inside seem of her dress where her cleavage sat.
He nodded and sheathed it under the folds of his robes before checking the hallway was empty and exiting with her. He followed behind her as she led the way through the halls towards the extraction point. They were at the hangar when a guard stepped in front of them. Keith tensed and moved to step in front of Pidge until she clamped a hand on his arm.
"Friendly."
He nodded and stepped back.
"Who's the extra? And what's with the bruise on your neck?"
Her hand flew to the side of her neck and she turned back to Keith giving him a glare. "Seriously Keith?"
He shrugged. "Oops."
"Kogane?"
"Griffin?"
"Yeah I offered to go with Pidge, be her pilot."
"Good to see you."
"You too."
"Can we go please?"
The boys followed behind her as she boarded the ship. They got out without any issues and debriefed when they returned to base. Once the debrief was over Pidge turned to leave but was stopped by Zethrid and Ezor.
"Guys I could really use a shower."
"We could really use an explanation."
"For what?" They turned back to the screen to see video footage of Keith push her up against the wall and kiss her. "There was a guard coming."
Acxa's brow rose as she pressed a button and the screen changed to what she assumed was the guards body cam footage. A very very damning angle. Her cheeks went red and her eyes widened.
"Oh. That." She whispered.
"Looks pretty hot." Ezor giggled.
Pidge glared at the alien. "Nothing was happening."
"Really?"
"Really." She huffed. "Now get rid of that footage before you give Keith or Kolivan a heart attack. I'm going to shower and clean up."
She left them snickering in the control room and went to the room they had assigned her when she'd come on board for the mission. She closed the door behind her and turned around, stopping short at the sight of Keith in her room.
"Hey."
"Hey."
"Not that it isn't great to see you but why are you in my room?"
"Wanted to apologise for the hickey."
Her cheeks flushed as her hand lifted to her neck. "Oh."
He rubbed the back of his neck. "Yeah, sorry."
"It's okay. By the way, how'd you get in?" His cheeks pinkened. Her eyes narrowed. "Did you break into my room?"
His cheeks went from pink to red. "uh yeah."
She shook her head as a smile broke free. "How very Keith of you."
He rolled his eyes. "I should go so you can change."
He approached the door to leave but noticed that she hadn't moved. His brow furrowed. "You okay?"
She blushed, remembering how much of her he had already seen and felt and realised he probably didn't even have a reason to leave at this point. Except of course for modesty, which she was very glad they both had. A light tug on her extensions brought her out of her phase out.
"Pidge?"
She blushed, looking down at her feet. "I'm fine."
"Sure? You're red."
"In the last three hours you've kissed me, given me a hickey and seen me topless."
"Oh."
"Yeah."
"Pidge?"
"Hmm?" she looked up and saw something in his eyes. The same thing she'd seen in the hallway before he'd kissed her.
He leant forward and kissed her. Shocked she couldn't move. He pulled back and leant his forehead against hers. "I could've handled that guard ten different ways without kissing you."
"You could?"
"Yeah."
"Then why?" His brow arched and she blushed. "Nevermind, I think I figured it out." Then she blushed harder. "And then I basically jumped you in that office."
He groaned. "Don't remind me."
Her hands travelled up his chest and around the back of his neck. "You know I could use some help with my dress."
His hands found her hips as his brow furrowed. "Really?"
She chuckled quietly. He was so clueless sometimes. "Uhuh. The clasp is a little tricky and I'm definitely going to need help with the zipper. Think you could give me a hand?" she murmured quietly into his ear as she pressed a kiss to the side of his jaw.
His adams apple bobbed and his hands flexed on her hips. He nodded as she stood on her tip toes and pulled him in for another scorching kiss.
