Hello everyone, sorry for the wait, I was taking a little break while writing this chapter. (Mainly, I was just playing some Pokemon games for a couple hours a day.)
I've also been spending my weekend working on a side Project. It's a side story called White Dragon's Case: The Crimson Love Letter Story, it's a Case Closed and my The Black and White Dragon Prince story crossover. I go into more details in chapter 32 of The Black and White Dragon Prince story, so you can check out the details there.

The Calling Of Flying Types
Republic City Air Temple Island
On Air Temple Island, Tenzin and Pema were watching, as Lily, Jinora, Ikki, Meelo and their Pokemon loaded Bree up for their search. "Tenzin, are you sure you can't go with them?" Pema asked Tenzin, with Pema having a bag of food with her.
"Raiko asked me to stay here and help figure out a diplomatic solution to this Kuvira problem." Tenzin said to Pema, as Ikki and Meelo walked to them. "Mom, we'll be fine. Grandpa Aang and his friends were around our age when they traveled the world." Ikki said to Pema.
"Plus I have experiences when it comes to a journey, so we'll be fine." Lily said to Pema, as she and Jinora walked up to her. "Well, at least I won't have to worry about you starving out there." Pema said to everyone.
"Mom, we're going to be in the wild, Living off the land. We don't need your food." Meelo said to Pema, as he turned away from Pema. "But I made your favorite treat." Pema said to Meelo, pulling out some food from her bag.
"Sweet buns with happy faces on them? Well, I guess we're not officially on the roar yet." Meelo said, as he took the food from Pema. But Meelo noticed the smile on the food had a smug on it. "Aw, this one is smudged. I can't eat this." Meelo said to Pema, whining. "You know, sometimes, things get smudged in the wild." Pema said to Meelo.
Soon all the food was packed, and everyone hugged each other before getting on Bree. "Were you two able to get a read on Korra yet?" Tenzin asked Jinora and Lily. "no, but once we're further out, I'll be able to hone in on her spiritual energy. We should be able to find her within a few days." Jinora said to Tenzin.
"Jinora. Not to be mean, but Mewtwo is having a hard time finding her, and he has the ability to move faster, and search easier than any human." Lily said to Jinora. "But he doesn't have what we have." Jinora said to Lily, before they hopped onto Bree, with Lily grabbing the reins.
"Good luck and be careful. Remember, Jinora and Lily are in charge." Tenzin said to everyone, as they returned their Pokemon to their Pokeballs. "I answer to no man or girl, even if they do have tattoos." Meelo said to everyone, trying to look important.
But that's when one of Lily's Pokeball opened up, and Altaria appeared and sat down on Meelo, forcing Meelo down. "Altaria." Altaria said, sounding annoyed.
"Meelo." Tenzin said to Meelo, shaking his head in embarrassment. "Now, let's move out, soldiers." Meelo said to everyone. "We're not soldiers." Lily said to Meelo, before making Bree fly.
Pema watched with a worried look, as they started to leave, with Tenzin putting an arm on her shoulder.
Earth Kingdom
Lily, Jinora, Ikki, and Meelo flew around the Earth Kingdom for a couple hours before landing at an Airbending rest stop. "Final. I've been holding my pee for an hour." Meelo said to everyone, as he jumped off Bree."You know you don't need to say that outloud, just leave and go." Lily said to Meelo as they all got off Bree.
Jinora then moved to a spot where some spirits and some Pidgey, Pidgeotto, and Pidgeot were resting.
Jinora then took a seat in the middle of them and closed her eyes, and started to meditate. "If you get through to Korra, tell her I said hi." Ikki said to Jinora, interrupting Jinora's meditation, before moving away. "Do you feel anything yet?" Ikki said to Jinora, interrupting Jinora's meditation again, making Jinora groan.
"What's taking so long?" Ikki asked Jinora, getting impatient. "Ikki, I can't concentrate if you keep talking." Jinora said to Ikki, as Lily walked up to everyone. "Ikki, let's give her a few moments." Lily said to Ikki, leading Ikki away from Jinora.
That's when Meelo walked up to everyone. "Jinora's spirit powers are broken, and she doesn't know where Korra is." Ikki said to Meelo, making Lily pull on Ikki's ear. "Ikki, Jinora just started. The problem is your impatience." Lily said to Ikki, before letting go of Ikki's ear.
"Yeah. My powers are not broken. I just need more than two seconds and some quiet." Jinora said to everyone. "While you try to pull yourself together, Poki, Pidove, and I are going to go into town. And find out if anyone's seen Korra. "Sounds like a good plan to me." Ikki said to Meelo.
"Enough chit chat. You can hold the picture of Korra I drew." Meelo said to Ikki, as he showed her a very good drawing of Korra. "Wow. I didn't know you could draw." Ikki said to Meelo, as Lily looked at the picture.
"You don't know a lot of things about me, sister. Let's roll." Meelo said to Ikki, before the two of them started to go towards the nearby village. "I'm going to go with them." Lily said to Jinora, as she went after the others.
In the village, people went about a normal day, but with the presence of the Earth Empire a clear sight all over the place. "Have you seen this woman?" Meelo asked an old lady, as they all walked to her, with Ikki showing the picture of Korra.
"Well, aren't you an adorable little thing?" The old lady said to Meelo. "I'm not adorable. I'm dangerous." Meelo said to the old lady, trying to look tough. "Dangerously cute with those cheeks." The old lady said to Meelo, pinching his cheeks.
"Ma'am, please. Have you seen this woman?" Lil asked the old lady, pointing to the picture of Korra. "No, sorry." The old lady said to Lily. "Goodbye cutie." The old lady said to Meelo, pinching his cheeks again before walking away.
"Aww." Ikki said, as she smirked at Meelo. "This never happened. Let's split." Meelo said to everyone.
Meanwhile, Jinora started to finally relax and started to use her spirit powers to try and find Korra.
The Swamp
At the same time, in the swamp, Toph, Korra, and all of their Pokemon were just laying around, relaxing, with Korra getting antsy by this. All the while the ball of gold light watched them.
But then the gold light scenes Jinora reaching out for Korra. That's when the ball of gold light glowed dark purple, and blocked Jinora's powers from reaching her.
A Tropical Fishing Village
Lily, Jinora, Ikki, and Meelo spent the next few days wandering around the world, having no luck finding Korra, and it didn't help that Meelo got distracted by a girl during one of their searches.
And while asking around the fishing village in the early morning, Meelo found the old man who took Korra's picture, and was surprised to see Korra's picture. "Jinora, Ikki, Lily! It's Korra!" Meelo said to them, making everyone rush to him.
"Where, where, where, where, where, where, where?" Iiki asked Meelo. That's when Meelo pointed to the picture of Korra, making all of them frown at Meelo. "It's just a photo of Korra.
"At least it's something." Meelo said to everyone. "A random picture isn't helpful. For all we know, that was taken years ago." Lily said to Meelo. "Actually I've had that thing for six months now when she came by." The old man said to Lily.
"Looks like someone just drummed up a good old-fashioned lead." Meelo said to Lily. "Meelo, Korra has been missing for Six months, this lead doesn't help, she could still be anywhere in the world by now." Lily said to Meelo. "Oh, really. Watch this." Meelo said to Lily.
"Then where did she go?" Meelo asked the old man. "Oh, I don't know. She left with three Pokemon and that was the last I saw of her. But she wasn't looking too good when she left." The old man said to Meelo.
"Three Pokemon?" Lily asked. "Ikki, this is all your fault." Meelo said to Ikki."What? I didn't do anything." Ikki said to Meelo. "Exactly, you need to start pulling your weight." Meelo said to Ikki.
"That goes for you too, so-called leaders." Meelo said to Jinora and Lily. This made Lily frown and started to pull Meelo away by the ear. "Now you're in trouble. You're sitting the next town out, and I'm going to have Meowstic babysit you." Lily said to Meelo. "I don't need a babysitter! I am a man!" Meelo said to Lily. "You're not acting like one." Lily said to Meelo, as they went around a building.
"Remember when he used to be so nice and sweet?" Ikki asked Jinora. "No." Jinora said to Ikki.
The Swamp
Meanwhile, in the swamp, Toph and Swampert were relaxing on a tree root, as Korra and her Pokemon started to wake up. "So? What's the plan for today?" Korra asked Toph, as she stretched.
"You're looking at it." Toph said to Korra. "But we didn't do anything yesterday, or the day before that." Korra said to Toph, as she sat down. "I know! Tell me the story about how you taught Aang to earthbend." Korra said to Toph, getting excited.
"What's there to tell? I threw some rocks at the Avatar, he got all whiny, and Sokka fell in a hole." Toph said to Korra, making everyone, minus Swampert, have a confused look on their face.
"I thought there'd be more to it than that. What about the time you guys took down the Firelord? That must have been epic." Korra asked Toph, getting excited again. "Oh, yeah. It was hot, I was on a blimp, and I think a giant turtle showed up. Wow, what a day." Toph said to Korra.
"Okay, you're terrible at telling stories." Korra said to Toph. "You're terrible at listening to them." Toph said to Korra, making Korra sigh and tap her foot. "Quit making all that racket." Toph said to Korra, making a rock appear under Korra's feet and sat up.
"If you're so antsy to do something, why don't you go and collect some mushrooms for dinner?" Toph asked Korra. "You got it. Come on everyone." Korra said to Toph and her Pokemon, as she stood up, and she and her Pokemon started to leave.
"Take the path till you see the boulder with a hole in it. Then go to your left. Oh, and make sure you get the big, slimy ones." Toph said to Korra, before chuckling. "They're the tastiest." Toph said to Korra.
Earth Kingdom
With Lily, Jinora, Ikki, and Meelo, they were on the ground, taking a rest stop, this let Jinora meditate, Ikki and Lily going through their supplies, and Meelo goofing around. "Hey, where's all the food mom gave us?" Ikki asked everyone. "Yeah, we shouldn't be out of food yet." Lily said to everyone.
"I threw it in the river." Meelo said to everyone, not looking at them. "YOU DID WHAT?!" Ikki and Lily asked Meelo. "That food was supposed to last us two weeks." Ikki said to Meelo. "Hey, keep it down! I'm trying to meditate." Jinora said to everyone.
"Yeah, keep it down, Ikki." Meelo said to Ikki. "Jinora, we have a serious problem here. Now's not the time for meditating." Lily said to Jinora. "Yeah, Meelo threw away all our food!" Ikki said to Jinora. "And while you have Tropius for food, what about the rest of us?" Lily asked Jinora. "From now on, we hunt for our meals." Meelo said to everyone, wielding a stick like a sword.
"Meelo, we're vegetarians. We don't hunt." Ikki said to Meelo. "Yeah, what you're thinking of is foraging, not hunting. And you have no idea how to forage." Lily said to Meelo. "Enough whining. Poki, Pidove, and I will go find some grub." Meelo said to everyone, as he started to walk away.
This made Ikki scream. "Ikki, go take a walk, I'll go find some actual food for us." Lily said to Ikki. Ikki said nothing and stormed off, as Lily went a different direction.
Ikki walked through the nearby forest, upset by Meelo and Jinora's actions. "My name's Meelo. I like to throw food away, and fart at inappropriate moments. I'm Jinora. I'm so above it all because I'm meditating all the time." Ikki said, before firing a gust of air into some tall grass.
This revealed a flying squirrel and an a Emolga eating some berries in the grass. "Oh, I'm sorry. I didn't see you there." Ikki said to the squirrel and Emolga. This caused them to squick, drop their berries, and run up a tree before gliding away. "Wait! You dropped your breakfast!" Ikki said to them, before using her airbending to glide after them.
But while gliding and offering the squirrel and Emolga their berries back, Ikki didn't pay attention and hit a tree, making her crash into an area of the woods that had been chopped down.
Ikki got up with a frown on her face, as well as some mud on her face. That's when the squirrel and Emolga landed on her head. "Hey." Ikki said to them, as they started to clean up Ikki, making Ikki laugh. "Does this mean we're friends?" Ikki asked them. "Emolga." Emolga said, sounding like a maybe.
That's when Ikki noticed all the chopped down trees. "You're trespassing. Hold it right there." A man said to Ikki, making Ikki turn to see two Earth Empire soldiers and a Quagsire. Ikki then started to run. But that's when the Quagsire fired a little surge of water at Ikki, the squirrel, and Emolga, knocking them down, and letting one of the Earth Empire too catch them in mud.
A few minutes later, the Earth Empire Soldiers took Ikki to their tiny shed-like outpost, with Ikki tied to a chair, and Emolga stuck in a rock. "All right, little airbender. Tell us what you're doing in the Earth Empire. Are you spying?" The first Earth Empire Soldier asked Ikki.
"No. I swear I'm not a spy. I was traveling with my brother, sister, friend, and our Pokemon. It's our first big mission, and my dad, Tenzin, is counting on us. But if we don't find the Avatar, he's going to be really disappointed." Ikki said to the Earth Empire Soldier, crying a little.
"Can I talk to you for a second?" The first Earth Empire Soldier asked the second Earth Empire Soldier, pointing to the other side of the room. "This girl is Tenzin's kid, and she's looking for the Avatar. Do you know what that means?" The first Earth Empire Soldier asked the second Earth Empire Soldier.
"No, but try this macaroon." The second Earth Empire Soldier said to the first Earth Empire Soldier, holding up a macaroon.
That's when the first Earth Empire Soldier swatted the macaroon. "Get that out of my face! Look, if we capture these four airbender kids and bring them to Kuvia, I bet we'd get a big-time promotion." The first Earth Empire Soldier said to the second Earth Empire Soldier.
"You mean we'd get out of this dump?" the second Earth Empire Soldier asked the first Earth Empire Soldier. The first Earth Empire Soldier nodded yes, before they turned to Ikki.
"Sorry, little lady. It looks like we got off on the wrong foot. So you're out here with our brother, sister, friend, and our Pokemon. Where's your campsite?" The first Earth Empire Soldier asked Ikki. "Why do you want to know?" Ikki asked the first Earth Empire Soldier.
"We just want to get all of you back together again. Maybe we could sit everybody down and have a nice plate of macaroons." The second Earth Empire Soldier said to Ikki, moving a plate of macaroons to her.
"Where did you get those?" Ikki asked the second Earth Empire Soldier. "I found a whole sack of food down by the river, and with each delicious snack comes a lovely, handwritten note." The second Earth Empire Soldier said to Ikki, as he pulled out the bag of food that Meelo tossed, and pulled out one of Pema's notes.
"This one says, you're my handsome little man. That is so touching." The second Earth Empire Soldier said to everyone. "My mom wrote those notes. That's our sack of food!" Ikki said to everyone. "Enough with the cute notes! Where are the others?" The first Earth Empire Soldier asked Ikki.
"Who cares? I don't want to see them. I'd rather hang out here with you guys. Hit me with one of those Macaroons, and can you let me let out Pikipek so she can enjoy them with Emolga." Ikki said to everyone. "Okay." The second Earth Empire Soldier said to Ikki, sounding excited, making the first Earth Empire Soldier frown.
The Swamp
Meanwhile, in the swamp, Korra and her Pokemon were walking through the swamp, with the ball of gold light following them from the air. But then everyone entered some vine, and the ball of gold light glowed green and tan at the same time, and it subtly moved the vines and ground, separating Korra from her Pokemon, not that Korra noticed.
Then, when Korra came out of the vines, she found herself standing before the moment when Amon took her bending away. Korra then tried to turn away and leave. Only to find her watching the moment Unalaq ripped Raava out of her. Startled by this, Korra fell backwards. But this caused Korra to find herself in the Red Lotus' cave. Korra turned her head to see her past self struggling to withstand the poison.
That's when black sludge started to bubble from under the ground, and from it, the black goo version of Giratina rose. "The Avatar is nothing, but trouble. We should have ended her the first time we met." Giratina said to Korra, before lunging at Korra.
This made Korra scream, before she found herself back in reality, her needs and hands in a steam. "GROVYLE!" Grovyle yelled in worry, as he and the rest of her Pokemon ran to her. "I'm fine. I'm fine everyone." Korra said to everyone.
Earth Kingdom
Meanwhile Jinora kept meditating, when Meelo, Poki, Pidove walked up to her, with purple juice around their mouths, and a pain in their stomachs. "Are you okay?" Jinora asked Meelo, as she noticed them and stopped meditating.
"Yup, totally fine. I hope you're hungry, cause we found some-" Meelo said to Jinora, but stopped talking when he had to hold back some puck. "We found some berries." Meelo said to Jinora, as he handed Jinora a gooey bag.
But that's when Poki and Pidove threw up. This made Meelo run to a bush and throw up as well. This grossed out Jinora. "Looks like you got some bad berries. So much for living off the land." Jinora said, as she tossed the bag away.
"Lucky for you. You have someone who actually knows how to forage, and can tell a bad barry from a good one." Lily said to everyone, as she walked up to everyone, with a bag of edible berries in it.
"I did pick good berries. I just ate too many of them because they're so- so delicious." Meelo said to Lily, showing his gross purple face. "Given how you look, I doubt that. What makes you think they were tasty?" Lily asked Meelo.
"I saw some Pokemon eating them." Meelo said to Lily. "Which Pokemon?" Lily asked Meelo. "Oh, you know. Those pink slimy ones." Meelo said to Lily, making Lily think.
A second later, Lily realized which Pokemon Meelo was talking about. "Those were probably Muks and Grimers, their diet is mostly rotten food." Lily said to Meelo. "What are you talking about? Those berries weren't rotten." Meelo said to Lily, before turning away and throwing up again. "Sure they weren't." Lily said to Meelo, sarcasm in her voice.
"Lily, did you run into Ikki while you were foraging?" Jinora asked Lily. "No, I went in a different direction. Why?" Lily asked Jinora, as Meelo finished throwing up and walking to everyone. "She hasn't come back yet. And she's been gone for a while." Jinora said to Lily.
"Great, now I got to go find the Avatar and her. This mission is getting worse by the day." Meelo said to everyone. "This isn't only your mission, Meelo. I thought we were doing this as a family." Jinora said to Meelo. "Enough!" Lily said to everyone with a commanding voice. "Let's just find Ikki. She can't be far. So let's start looking." Lily said to everyone.
Meanwhile Ikki was bonding with the Earth Empire Soldiers and Quagsire, with Pikipek out of her Pokeball, and all of them enjoying the macaroon, but Ikki was still tied up, but her arms where free, and Pikipek and Emolga had their lower body still trapped in mud. "It seems pretty lonely out here. Where is everybody else?" Ikki asked everyone.
"I don't want to talk about it." The first Earth Empire Soldier said to Ikki, looking away from her. "Aww, he's just upset because Kuvira's taking all the troops to Zaofu, and we had to stay here." The second Earth Empire Soldier said to Ikki.
"Well, it's the last city left, and then the whole Empire will be united. And you know there's gonna be a huge party afterwards." The first Earth Empire Soldier said to everyone, as he took a few steps away from everyone.
"It's tough to be left out, huh? I know exactly what you're going through." Ikki said to the first Earth Empire Soldier. "You do?" The first Earth Empire Soldier asked Ikki. "Yeah. My brother and sister are always leaving me out of fun stuff. And so does my friend sometimes because I'm too young and I don't have enough Pokemon to join. I mean, we're supposed to be looking for the Avatar together, but they won't even let me help." Ikki said to everyone.
"Well, that's not fair. Maybe we can help you out." The second Earth Empire Soldier said to Ikki, as he removed the Macaroon, and pulled out a map of the area. "So where have you looked for her?" The second Earth Empire Soldier asked Ikki.
"We've been traveling down the west coast, and the only lead we have is some guy who said he saw her six months ago." Ikki said to everyone, as she pointed to the locations on the west coast.
"Well, we have troops pretty much everywhere. If anyone saw her, they would have reported it." The first Earth Empire Soldier said to Ikki, as Ikki noticed a blank spot on the map. "What about this place?" Ikki asked everyone, pointing to the blank spot.
"Oh, that's the swamp. No one goes there." The first Earth Empire Soldier said to Ikki. "Don't get discouraged, Ikki. You're a valuable member of the team, and you have a big heart. I know you're gonna find her. Now, let's get you out of those ropes.
That's when the door was sent flying open, and Meelo, Jinora, and Jumpluff rushed into the room, firing airburst at the Earth Empire Soldier knocking them out and into the wall, and Jumpluff firing a barrage of seeds at Quagsire, knocking out Quagsire.
"I told you not to rush in like that. Things could have gone bad easily." Lily said to everyone, before walking into the room, with the squirrel on her shoulder. "Nothing was going to happen, because I was here." Meelo said to Lily. "And you're welcome, Ikki." Meelo said to Ikki.
"Why did you do that?" Ikki asked Meelo and Jinora, as she slipped out of the ropes like it was nothing, and Pikipek moved her beck at a fast pace, breaking herself and Emolga out of the mud.
"We're saving you. Let's go." Jinora said to Ikki, as she turned to leave. "I had everything under control. I just found our food, and I have an idea where Korra is." Ikki said to everyone, as she grabbed the food bag.
"You do? Then let's get going." Jinora said to Ikki. "Hold on." Ikki said to everyone, as she moved to the Earth Empire Soldiers and Quagsire. "Sorry my brother and sister knocked you out. Nice chatting with you." Ikki said to them, as she left them some food. "Macarron." The second Earth Empire Soldier said, as everyone started to leave, with the squirrel going from Lily's shoulder to Ikki's head.
That's when Emolga landed on Ikki's shoulder. "It looks like you got a new Pokemon Ikki." Lily said to Ikki. "Looks like it. But I don't have a Pokeball on me." Ikki said to Lily. "Lucky for you. I packed a few in my stuff. Once we get back to Bree, you can catch Emolga." Lily said to Ikki.
A few minutes later, they reached Bree, and while everyone patched their stuff and put it back onto Bree's back, Ikki caught Emolga with ease, before letting out her new Pokeball. Once that was done, Ikki told them where to go and they took off into the air
The Swamp
Meanwhile, in the swamp, Korra was sitting on a tree root that was sticking high above some water, hugging her legs, while her Pokemon watched her with a worried look on their faces.
That's when Toph and Swampert walked up to Korra. "There you are. You've got my dinner yet?" Toph asked Korra. "No, this swamp, it did crazy things to my mind. I have visions of all the time my enemies hurt me." Korra said to Toph, as Toph stood at her side.
"Yeah, I figured something like that might happen." Toph said to Korra, cleaning her ear. "What? You wanted me to see those visions? You are one twisted old lady, you know that?" Korra asked Toph, getting upset with her.
"Look, I know you want to get better, and do does the swamp. It can sense you're out of balance. It'll teach you what you need to learn, if you're open to listening." Toph said to Korra, as she squatted. But Korra just sighed.
"Okay, swamp. I'm all ears." Korra said to the swamp. "You said you saw your past enemies. Now, why do you think that is?" Toph asked Korra. "I don't know, because they've made me and a lot of other people suffer." Korra said to Toph, as Toph took a set.
"Sounds like you're carrying around your former enemies, the same way you're still carrying around that metal poison. You ever considered maybe you could learn something from them?" Toph asked Korra.
"Sounds like the swamp's messing with your mind too." Korra said to Toph. "My mind is just fine, thank you. Listen, what did Amon want? Equality for all. Unalaq? He brought back the Spirits and the Pokemon by association. And Zaheer believed in freedom." Toph said to Korra.
"I guess." Korra said to Toph, not knowing what to say. "The problem was, those guys were totally out of balance, and they took their ideologies too far." Toph said to Korra. "Okay, fine. But that doesn't explain why they keep haunting me." Korra said to Toph. "because you need to face your fears. You can't expect to deal with future enemies if you're still fighting the old ones." Toph said to Korra.
"Maybe you're right, but how am I supposed to move on?" Korra asked Toph. "Boy, you Avatar sure need a lot of hand-holding. Get up. We're going to the Banyangrove tree." Toph said to Korra, as she stood up and started to walk away with Swampert. Korra said nothing as she stood up and followed Toph, with her Pokemon following her.
As the sun started to set, Lily, Jinora, Ikki, and Meelo were riding on Bree's back in the air over the swamp, with all of their Pokemon out looking around, but having a hard time seeing anything through the foliage.
"Those soldiers said there weren't any troops here, and I figure if Korra's not feeling good, she might come to a spiritual place like this to get batter." Ikki said to everyone, as Lily had Bree fly low.
Jinora then meditated for a couple seconds, and felt nothing. "There is an enormous amount of spiritual activity here, But I don't feel Korra." Jinora said to everyone. "Well, that's what we get for Listening to Ikki." Meelo said to everyone, whining a little.
"Guys, we just got here. Let's at least look around." Ikki said to everyone. "I'm sorry, Ikki, But I'm with Meelo on this. I don't think we're going to find her here." Jinora said to Ikki. "Well, we're still going to look. We need to set up camp for the night, might as well look around." Lily said to everyone, as she made Bree go as low to the trees as she could, looking for a place to land.
But what they didn't know was that the ball of gold light was watching them, then it glowed green, and vines shot out of the swamp, pulling them backwards and into the swamp. This made everyone scream as they crashed into the swamp. Once they were in the swamp, the vines let go of Bree.
"Why did those stupid vines pull us in here anyway?" Meelo asked everyone. "Because they want us here. I'm telling you, Korra's got to be close." Ikki said to everyone. "I don't know, Ikki. I still don't sense Korra." Jinora said to Ikki. "Well, you haven't sensed her the entire time we've been looking for her." Ikki said to Jinora.
"Next time I go on a mission, it's going to be boys only, Just Poki, Pidove, and Me." Meelo said to everyone, looking smug.
"OKAY ENOUGH!" Lily said, as she stood up, and got everyone's attention. "The four of us have been out here for a little over a week. And the entire time, none of you have taken it seriously." Lily said to everyone.
"I have been taking it seriously." Jinora, Ikki, and Meelo said to Lily at the same time. "SILENCE!" Lily said to them, letting out a small gust from herself. "Now sit down!" Lily said to them, with a mean look. Jinora, Ikki, and Meelo said nothing, as they sat on their knees.
"Jinora, every place we've been going to this week, wasn't for Korra, it was for you. Because you've done nothing but try your spirit powers. You hardly helped us look, set up camp, or helped fly Bree." Lily said to Jinora
"Ikki, I know this trip hasn't been the best. But if we're going to find Korra, then you need to focus and be tolerable. You will find that not everything in life works the way you want it to, and sometimes you have to deal with people like Meelo. So best to focus on what you can and try not to let things bother you too much." Lily said to Ikki.
"And Meelo, you have been nothing but a problem the entire time. Acting like you're some big shot when you're not. You keep making things harder because you're trying to copy Bumi's military training, when you have no idea what that is. You've also been blaming others for when things don't go your way, making you even more of a pain. The only thing you did a good job with, was making the picture of Korra, everything else you've been terrible at. Also stop belittling girls, PIDOVE IS A GIRL FOR ARCEUS SAKE!" Lily said to Meelo.
"If I'm so bad, then why did my dad choose me for this mission?" Meelo asked Lily. "Because out of everyone he trusts, you are all the only ones free. Tenzin asked me first, and I said yes. But when he asked Zoey, Mako, Lucas, Dakota, and Asami, they said no, because they were busy." Lily said to everyone.
"Daddy, really doesn't trust us that much?" Ikki asked Lily. "With how things are right now. He would rather have you all safe at home, not run into major trouble with The Earth Empire. Plus, not once has he seen you kids do anything more than get on each other's nerves. But he was desperate. So he had no choice, and sent us." Lily said to Ikki.
At the same time, Toph and Swampert lead Korra and her Pokemon to the massive tree at the heart of the swamp, and the sight of the tree, amazed Korra and her Pokemon. "It's beautiful." Korra said to Toph.
"The roots of the Banyangrove tree Spread out for miles in every direction, connecting this whole swamp. Your problem is you've been disconnected for too long, Disconnected from the people who love you and disconnected from yourself." Toph said to Korra.
Korra then moved deeper into the tree, and squatted down, putting her hand on the tree roots. That's when Korra let out a stream of golden light in the roots. The ball of gold light watched as the golden light traveled through the swamp.
While the energy travels through the swamp, the ball of gold light glows dark purple, and removes the block it put on Jinora.
With Korra, she could see through the roots. And while traveling through the swamp, Korra saw Lily finish giving Jinora, Ikki, and Meelo a lecture. But that's when Jinora felt Korra. "Korra. I know where Korra is!" Jinora said to everyone, as she turned to the direction of the Banyangrove tree, making everyone cheer.
Back at the Banyangrove tree, Korra opened her eyes. "I can't believe it! I saw Lily, Jinora, Ikki, Meelo, and their Pokemon. They're here!" Korra said to Toph. "Good. Hopefully, they're here to take you home." Toph said to Korra.
A few minutes later, Lily made Bree fly towards the Banyangrove tree. "Korra!" All of them said, at the same time as they noticed Korra on the Banyangrove tree. Not waiting for a minute longer, the four of them jumped off Bree, and gilded to Korra.
This made Korra cry tears of joy, before whipping them away. Then everyone landed on the Banyangrove tree, with Jinora, Ikki, and Meelo hugging her first. Korra hugged them back.
"Oh, we missed you so much, Korra." Ikki said to Korra. "I missed you so much too." Korra said to Ikki. That's when Korra let go of everyone, and turned to Lily.
"Lily I…" Korra said to Lily, but was interrupted by Lily rushing her and giving her a big hug. "I'm so glad you're back. I really missed you." Lily said to Korra. "I missed you too. I'm so sorry I wasn't there for you when you got your tattoos." Korra said to Lily.
"You're here now, that's what's matter." Lily said to Korra, as he broke the hug, and looked at Walrein, Lycanroc, Dragonite, and Centiskorch. "I see not only do you have a new look, but Sealeo evolved into Walrein, and you caught a Midday Lycanroc, a Centiskorch, and a Dragonite. Explain why you were hard to find, you had someone who could fly you around." Lily said to Korra.
"Actually, Grovyle those three. The last six months have been me just hopelessly wandering around, trying to figure out what's wrong with me. But I have to ask. How did you find me all the way out here?" Korra asked Lily.
"Jinora sensed your energy." Ikki said to Korra. "But we never would've been here if it weren't for Ikki." Jinora said to Korra. "I never would've stormed off and found those soldiers if it weren't for Meelo." Ikki said to everyone. "I was trying to toughen up these ladies." Meelo said to Korra.
"That's code for throwing our food away, and thinking he knows how to forge for food, only to end up eating rotten food." Lily said to Korra. That's when Toph cleared her throat, making everyone turn to Korra.
"I-I'm so sorry. This is Lily, one of my closest friends, sister in arms, and the reincarnation of the first Airbending master." Korra said to Toph. "And this is Meelo, Jinora, and Ikki, and Aang and Katara's grandchildren." Korra said to Toph.
"Your grandpa was a real pain in my butt." Toph said to Meelo, Jinora, and Ikki. "Wait a minute, cranky, old, blind…" Meelo said, waving a hand in front of Toph's face. "You must be Toph!" Meelo said to Toph. "Oh, I like this one." Toph said to everyone, pointing to Meelo.
"Please don't. We don't need anyone else to feed his ego. And while it's an honor to meet you, master Toph, I would be lying if I said we didn't have another reason for us to be here." Lily said to Toph, as she bowed to Toph.
"What is it?" Korra asked everyone. "You need to come home, Korra. Kuvira is taking over the Earth Kingdom." Jinora said to Korra, as they all turned to her. "You have to stop her." Ikki said to Korra.
"I don't know. I'm not the Avatar I used to be. I can't even go into the Avatar State." Korra said to everyone. "Please, Korra." Ikki said to Korra. "The world needs you back." Jinora said to Korra. "Or at the very least, we need you back with us." Lily said to Korra. "Okay, but first there's something I must do." Korra said to Lily.
Soon, everyone was at Toph home, with Korra looking at a fire. "All right, I'm ready." Korra said to Toph. "I'm not bending it out of you. You got to do this on your own." Toph said to Korra. Korra nodded, understanding what Toph said to her.
Korra then got into a stance and took a deep breath. "Close your eyes. Clear your mind. And don't freak out like last time. Now, focus your energy. Find the metal. Let it move though your body." Toph said to Korra.
Korra then started to slowly move around, but then the memory of Zaheer taking her breath away flash in her mind, making Korra stop. "Korra!" Lily said, as she tried to move to Korra, only to be stopped by Toph bending a rock in front Lily stopping her.
"You need to stop babying her. It's not helping." Toph said to Lily, before bending the rock back down. "Korra, that fight is over. Release the fear." Toph said to Korra, making Korra sigh.
Korra then tried the motions again, and this time, the metal started to come out of her. Soon the very last of the metal in her, came out of her. And everyone smiled, as Toph bend a stone around the metal, containing it. "Well done, Korra." Toph said to Korra, as Korra opened her eyes, revealing the glow of the Avatar State.
"The Avatar is back in business!" Meelo said, as everyone moved closer to Korra. "I feel so much lighter. Thank you so much for helping me. I'd like to give you a hug now if that's okay with you." Korra said to Toph.
"All right. You earned it." Toph said to Korra, before Korra hugged her. Toph then patted Korra on the back. Korra then let go of Toph, and turned to Lily.
"Lily, can I ask you for something?" Korra asked Lily. "Sure, what is it?" Lily asked Korra. "I want to have a quick battle with you, I need to see if I'm ready to fight again so can you fight me?" Korra asked Lily.
"Well, are you sure about this?" Lily asked Korra. "I'm sure. I need to do this." Korra said to Lily. "Very well. And I won't hold back." Lily said to Korra. "I don't want you too." Korra said to Lily, as they moved to fight outside in front of Toph's home.
"Grovyle." Grovyle said, moving to Korra's side. "It looks like Grovyle wanted to fight beside you." Lily said to Korra. "Okay, then can you use Dragalge?" Korra asked Lily, surprising Lily. "Dragalge?! Are you sure you want to face him? You know what he can do right?" Lily asked Korra. "I'm sure." Korra said to Lily, a serious look on her face.
This made Lily sigh, as she let out Dragalge. "Okay, let's do this. But know I'm sorry, Korra." Lily said to Korra. "Let's do this. Grovyle use Leaf Blade!" Korra said to Grovyle, as she fired water whips at Lily. "Grovyle." Grovyle said, as his leaf fans on his wrist became long curve green blades.
"Dragalge use Iron Tail." Lily said, as she bend a gust of air at the water, blowing it out of the air, as Grovyle reached Dragalge. "Dragalge." Dragalge said, as his tail turned silver, and he whipped it around, and locked it with Grovyle's blades.
"Grovyle use Iron Tail." Korra said into the Grovyle, as she stomped her right foot into the ground, making a rock wave move towards Lily, Dragalge, and Grovyle, knocking them into the air.
"Grovyle!" Grovyle said, as his tail glowed sliver, and he did a flip in mid air, sending Dragalge crashing into the rocks. Then Lily bend a gust of air at Grovyle, forcing Grovyle into Korra's arms, letting her use her bending to safely land on the ground.
"Dragalge use Scald." Lily said to Dragalge, as she used her airbending to kick up some mud and toss it at Korra. "Dragalge." Dragalge said, as he let out a steam of hot water at Korra and Grovyle.
"Grovyle, after I clear the way, use Energy Ball!" Korra said to Grovyle, as she put Grovyle down, and used her air bending to fire a burst of air in the middle of the mud and hot water, making the mud and water miss them.
"Grovyle." Grovyle said, as he formed a green ball of energy in his mouth, and fired it at Lily. Lily then had a hesitant look on her face. "Dragalge use Sludge Bomb." Lily said to Dragalge. "Dragalge? Dra." Dragalge asked, concerned if she really wanted, before firing a ball of purple sludge at the Energy Ball, breaking through it, and hitting the ground, making a purple stain on the ground.
Korra looked at the stain, and the memories of the metal poison flash in her mind. But Korra let out a deep breath, and let the memories pass. Korra then used her firebending to not only burn the stain away, but fired a burst at Lily.
Lily used her bending to make an air shield and block the flames. "Not bad, Korra. Dragalge, don't hold back, use Dragon Pulse." Lily said to Korra and Dragalge. "Dragalge." Dragage said as he fired a pulse of purple energy with a dragon head on it.
The energy hit in front of Grovyle and Korra, making a small explosion that blinded them in smoke. But Korra used her airbending to clear up the smoke around her and Grovyle. The two watched the smoke, looking for any sign of moment.
That's when some hot water and wind came bursting out of the smoke, making Korra and Grovyle turn to it. Korra then raised a rock wall, blocking those attacks. "Grovyle use Energy Ball." Korra said to Grovyle, as she lowered the rock wall, and fired a burst of fire at the direction the water and wind came from. "Grovyle." Grovyle said, as he formed a green ball of energy in his mouth, and fired it in the same direction.
Their attacks cut through the smoke, clearing it up, and revealing that Lily and Dragalge weren't in that direction. And before they could turn, a gust of wind hit Korra, and knocked her down, but Korra quickly recovered and got up.
Meanwhile Dragalge slithered up to Grovyle, and wrapped himself around Grovyle. "Dragalge use Sludge Bomb." Lily said to Dragalge, as she kept firing gusts of wind at Korra. "Dragalge." Dragalge said to Lily, as he turned his head to look at Grovyle Grovyle gave Dragalge. "GROVYLE!" Grovyle yelled, sounding like, "get off me".
That's when Grovyle started to glow light blue and grow, forcing Dragalge off him, and getting everyone's attention.
Grovyle grew a little over 2 feet, he gained an extra claw on his hand and feet, the leaf on his head went back into his head as two bumps appeared on his head, and 6 orbs appeared on his back, his tails became one and form the shape of a X shape pine tree, his leaf fans on his wrist turned into two green fins in the shape of a crooked V.
Then the flow faded, revealing Grovyle was not mostly dark green with a red chin, a red ling right where his legs conceded to his body, and the orbs on his back where yellow. "Sceptile!" Grovyle, now Sceptile, said, as he looked at himself.
"Cool he's a Sceptile now." Jinora said to everyone. "A Scep- what?" Meelo asked Jinora. "Haven't you been taking any of Lucas' Pokedex classes? Sceptile Is the Forest Pokemon. A Grass Type. The leaves on its arms are as sharp as swords. It agilely leaps about the branches of trees to strike its enemies." Jinora said to Meelo.
"That's great Sceptile, you finally reach your final stage." Korra said to Sceptile. "I'm glad for you Sceptile, but let's see what your new body can do. Dragalge use Sludge Bomb." Lily said to Sceptile and Dragalge.
"Dragalge." Dragalge said, sounding like a "on it", before firing a ball of purple sludge at Sceptile.
"Sceptile!" Sceptile said, as he opened his mouth, and he fired a purple pulse of energy with a dragon head on it. The pulse of energy bit down on the sludge, making a large explosion. This made everyone freeze and turn to
"That was Dragon Pulse! How did he learn that?!" Lily asked everyone. "Don't know. But great work Sceptile. Use Dragon Pulse, again." Korra said to Lily and Sceptile. "Dragalge shows Sceptile what a real Dragon Pulse looks like." Lily said to Dragalge.
"Sceptile/Dragalge!" Sceptile and Dragalge said, as they let out a surge of purple energy with a dragon head. The pulse flew around each other, acting like dragons on a stand off, before ramming into each other, causing an explosion that knocked everyone to the ground.
"How are you feeling Korra?" Lily asked Korra, as they all stood up. "I'm feeling fine, better than I have in a long time. Let's keep going, Sceptile use Dragon Pulse." Korra said to Sceptile. "Sceptile!" Sceptile said, as he fired a pulse of purple energy from his mouth with a dragon head at the end of it.
But that's when a rock popped out of the ground, making the Dragon Pulse crash into it and stop it. This made everyone turn to Toph. Okay that's enough fighting, my home is not some bar. So please leave." Toph said to everyone.
"Oh, sorry. We'll be going." Korra said to Toph, as she, Lily, Jinora, Ikki, and Meelo returned their Pokemon to their Pokeballs, and started to get onto Bree's back.
Soon everyone got on Bree, as was ready to leave. "Bye, Toph! Bye, see you later. It was so nice to meet you! We're gonna miss you!" All of them said to Toph at the same time, overlapping each other, as Lily made Bree take off into the air.
"Finally, some peace and quiet." Toph said to Swampert. "Swampert." Swampert said, agreeing with Toph, before they went back into the hovel.
