Chapter 7: Dark Matter Hurricane

"Link, I need you in the speed force right now! It's an emergency!"

Rusl's voice echoing from Link's AI watch. Link sighed and ran to his special place and got there in about 2 seconds and created a breach and went inside.

"You certainly got here fast." Rusl said.

"You said it was and emergency, so I came as soon as I could." Link replied asking what's the emergency.

Rusl explained that the breach that will spew dark matter in his earth will be arriving faster than anticipated and it was arriving tonight on his earth, and then suddenly The Speed Force appeared but this time in the form of Link's father. It spoke to him warning him that the breach threat that would create meta-humans on his earth would arrive and it would not only affect his city but his entire world. He wouldn't be alone though since there will be meta-humans that would follow The Flash and become heroes as well. The Speed Force showed him that all around the world heroes would rise up and fight injustice like the meta-humans that used their powers for bad intentions. It even showed him visions of him fighting along side other heroes to stop a world ending crisis. Not only that but they formed a team called the Justice League founded by an Alien and a vigilante wearing a bat outfit.

"Wait there are aliens it my earth?"

"[Multiple Voices]Yes, they've been living amongst you for decades. Like this one for example, I'm pretty sure you heard of her or seen her on the news showing up and becoming a hero weeks after you became The Flash.[Multiple Voices]"

The speed force showed him a site on National City, in which a beautiful blonde woman in a blue tights with a giant "S" symbol on the chest, and a red miniskirt, and a matching red cape, lifting a 10 wheeler truck like it was nothing. She also flew and shot laser beams from her eyes. Author's note: This supergirl looks like the one from tomorrowverse. For those of you who watched the new animated movie you know what she looks like, and for you who don't look up "Tomorrowverse Supergirl" on google and you'll see.

"This is Supergirl, I thought she is a meta-human like me, and got her powers at the same time as me when that small breach in the sky opened.. But I guess she's an alien.. *Exhales deeply* Oh boy, this is a lot to process, first a teenager that could run faster than the speed of sound, could turn into a blue, could throw lightning, vibrate so fast and turn invisible, and now aliens that's stronger than a locomotive and could shoot laser beams from their eyes, what's next!? Magic!?"

The Speed Force and Rusl just gave him a knowing look.

"Are you f**king kidding my!? Magic is real!?"

"Magic has been around for millennia Link, they just don't show it to people due to unwanted attention."

Link sat down and rubbed his hair not knowing how to process everything in one day. He scratched his head and decided to run around and clear his head, right after he had processed everything he stopped and went to Rusl and The Speed Force to ask what to do when the breach in the sky opens tonight. The Speed Force and Rusl told him he could do nothing but he could warn his new friends. So that's what he is going to do he exited the speed force.

When he arrived in school he looked for his friends and found them in Orielle's locker, he walked up to them and called for them.

"Hey guys, I need to tell you something important okay? Just listen to me I know it will sound crazy but with everything happening it might not be so farfetched to believe in."

His friends just gave him a confused and worried look.

"Look, something's gonna happen tonight okay? And I need you both to listen to me closely and stay in doors. Something devastating is gonna happen."

"Link have you eaten already?" Groose said not knowing what Link is talking about, Orielle just laughed and smacked Groose's arm.

"Just humor me alright? You'll thank me later."

Zelda's group passed by and heard what Link was talking about and being the curious girl that she is she walked up to Link and his friends and joined in the conversation.

"What exactly is gonna happen tonight Linky?" She questioned.

"Okay first of all rude. And then second of all you don't have permission to use that nickname. And lastly why the f**k are you here!?"

"Ouch! Hurtful Linky. I'm just asking what you guys are talking about and I couldn't help but overhear the part where something is gonna happen tonight and you advised your friends to stay indoors, and to be honest I'm hurt that you didn't tell me to do so?" Zelda answered him adding questions and making her voice seductive to seduce Link a bit.

"*Sigh* Okay something is gonna happen tonight and I advice you and your friends to stay indoors that's it, up to you if you believe me or not now leave us be."

Zelda looked at him pretending to be hurt earning giggles from her friends and walked away with her group.

"She always like that?" Orielle asked.

"I can't believe I used to have a crush on her." Groose added earning another smack from his girlfriend, but he quickly apologized by hugging and kissing her in the head. Link who was disgusted by this told them to "Get a room you guys."

"Anyway back to the main subject. Please guys just humor me like what Zelda did okay? Stay inside tonight okay?"

"Fine." Orielle and Groose said unison.

"Thank you guys! You will not regret this!"

Link said while walking away and running to a different direction he got out of the school changing into his flash outfit and decided to go the center of town, grabbed a mega phone from a near by police car, and started speaking.

"[Vibrating Voice] Excuse me people! May I have you're attention please! [Vibrating Voice]"

"Hey look it's The Flash!" A random person said and crowd started gathering and cheering for The Flash.

"[Vibrating Voice] Ladies and Gentlemen I'm The Flash as some of you may know, and I'm here to tell you something. Something big is gonna happen tonight! Something very dangerous! So please! Advice you to stay indoors and keep your families inside at all times until the next day. [Vibrating Voice]"

Link ran from every corner of the city as fast as he could to spread information about the upcoming catastrophe. News channels began reporting about The Flash's information, some people doubted him for some people believed him he went back to the speed force and asked if there was something else he can do to get more people to safety and not get affected by the dark matter wave but the speed force told him there was nothing more he could do and it was bound to happen. Link not knowing what else to do looked at the bright side that he saved a lot of people form possibly dying or is granted abilities that they do not want and could potentially destroy them or the people they care about.

Night came and Link was inside with his grandparents they talked about if what they heard from the news will actually come to face. Link convinced his grandparents that it will happen and that he believed The Flash's words and them not knowing the news actually came from their grandson, And as if on cue on the middle of their family dinner a very loud sound came from above that made them cover their ears due to how loud it was. Link quickly ran to the nearest window and saw that a giant blue breach opened up causing a hurricane of some sort that was spewed large amount of what he assumed was dark matter some are in a form of a strong wind, some are in a form of a heatwave, some are in a form of electricity, and many more. Not long and the whole cities power went out some of the houses and buildings with generators remained on but for most of the houses and streets it was complete darkness many cars were damaged and many power lines were now on the ground.

The next morning the city started cleaning up and repairing the damages one by one some contractors and government workers were shot staffed they even recruited volunteers. There was a knock at the door and when Link's grandmother opened it she saw a group of teenagers and she assumed they were Link's friends. She called for Link that he's got visitors so he quickly changed and got out the door disappointed that he saw Zelda and her group he wore his usual hoodie and went out the door shouting that he was going for a walk nearby. She told him to be careful since the city was a mess.

"Talk!" Groose said to Link. The others gave Link a look of intimidation.

"Talk what?" Link replied while walking towards the side walk.

They all followed him to a nearby coffee shop the line was pretty long due to the shop being short staffed for today due to the dark matter storm last night.

"Awhhh.. Long line? Should give us plenty of time to talk about last night! and how you knew in advance!" Groose said.

Link thought of a quick lie to get him out of this situation.

"Don't even thing about lying Link! I know you!" Zelda added.

"What is there to talk about? I got the news from The Flash earlier since he saved me from getting mugged in an ally way on my way to school! He told me after he beat up the muggers."

It was pretty convincing but Riju wasn't buying it.

"I don't buy it Link." Riju said not believing alibi.

"Man the line here is pretty long is it? Man I sure hope this goes fast." And as his friends and Zelda's friends were distracted he used flash time and made the coffees that the costumers ordered including the group he was with, grabbed their money and placed it on the counter.

"Woah! The Flash saves the day again! My man The Flash really came on clutch today! See ya guys later bye!"

He tried to walk away but Zelda not amused with him held his hood preventing him from walking away, so he just sighed and gave up and asked what more did they want since he had told them already how he got the news in advance which was a lie of course but they can't prove it. Riju really wasn't buying it and wrapped her arm around Link's neck preventing him from escaping.

"Riju I can't breath!"

"Not until you come clean with us!"

"I already told you already! The flash told me!"

Riju still didn't let him go.

"What are you implying here Riju? That I'm The Flash? You knew me when we we're kids! You know running is not my very strong suit! Heck any athletic activities isn't my strong suit! Have you seen me run? Of course you do! I waddle like a duck! " Link said trying to get out of the situation.

Riju finally lets go of him and Link fixed up himself.

"Jesus Christ woman! You're gonna be single for the rest of your life with that attitude."

"EXCUSE ME!?" Riju exclaimed.

The other's just laughed, except Riju when the laughter died down Link asked while walking why are they missing three persons in their group and Ruto told him what happened. Link nodded but asked Zelda why she hasn't forgiven Mipha yet, Zelda told him it was still too early and she isn't ready just yet. Link understood her decision and didn't push the conversation any further. Link asked his friends to go with him and hang out to a nearby creek, they agreed and followed him Zelda's group followed him as well.

"Sure! Feel free to join in, the invitation was extended to you didn't it?" Link said sarcastically.

"The creek is a public place Link, we can go without your invitation." Zelda said.

"Whatever, do what ever you want.. You always do that anyways cause you're a spoiled brat." He said the last part in a low voice but Zelda heard it anyway.

"Excuse me!?" Zelda replied offended at what he said.

"Excuuuuuuuuuuse me princess! But am I not wrong!? I'm pretty sure I'm not!" Link snapped.

Zelda fell silent and tears started streaming from her eyes, Link regretted snapping at her, He has been getting this urges to snap at her ever since he traveled to the past and saw that Zelda's family had something to do with his parent's murder, and now come to think of it Zelda was pretty young to involved in that sort of thing.

"Wow, nice job jackass. That was totally uncalled for." Daruk snapped at Link's attitude

"Zelda! I'm sorry! Wait!"

He apologized to her friends and told his friends to go on ahead. He chased after her and tried to talk to her but she just kept going and ignored him and wiping her tears that seemed to not stop streaming from her eyes.

"Your dad's gonna kill me for this but.. Ahh! F**k it!"

He hugged her tightly and apologized for what he said and earlier and for the way he treated her these past few weeks, she returned the hug even tighter and started to cry even harder. Link just let her cry on his chest until she stopped.

"Feel better now?" Link asked with a smile.

Zelda still hugging him nodded repeatedly.

"Let's go to the park then."

"You asking me out on a date?" Zelda asked with quivering voice but was visibly smiling.

"This can be whatever you wanna call it." Link answered winking at her.

She blushed upon being winked on by the man she had growing feelins for. Link and Zelda walked to the park, they stopped for ice cream and sat on the bench just talking about their past.

"Yes, I really did have feelings for you.. But I realized it was stupid and one sided."

"What makes you thing it was one sided? and Stupid."

"I mean look at us.. We're living in different worlds!.. And when they set me up.. You kind of believed them instantly without hearing my side.. So.. That was the realization part."

Zelda just sat there in silence regretting her past actions of not hearing his side, this could all have been avoided if she'd just listened. But it can't be helped what's done was done.

"So how about you do yo-"

"It wasn't one sided Link." Link was cut off.

"What?" Link asked.

"I said it wasn't one sided.. Your feelings for me.. I felt the same way.. But I messed it up!"

"Oh boy.. That's.. Uhhh.. I'm just gonna contemplate that little nugget in silence then."

After a few moments in silence Link began to speak again.

"Say what about Marth?"

"What about him?"

"I mean.. You two are pretty close right?"

""Were" Pretty close.. But I don't know anymore."

"I'm sure you'll get though this Zelda.. You both are meant for one another."

"What makes you think that?"

"Come on isn't it pretty obvious!? You both live in the same world, You are both good looking people, Your lifestyles are a match!.. Still not convinced? Your family has been involved with each other for so long!.. Tell me this you have feelings for him right? Tell you do not have feelings for him."

Zelda was silent.

"See!? You still have feelings for him! And that's a beautiful thing! A beautiful beautiful thing! Come on you both are very compatible! You want my advice!? Don't give up on something so beautiful Zel."

"But what he did wa-"

"He did it because he loves you! I already forgiven him for that! I know what he did was wrong but he did it out of love! He hates me because he viewed me as a threat.. Zelda he's the best man for you! Don't waste that!"

"But you ar-"

"Me? What could I possibly offer you that Marth can't?"

Zelda was silent again.

"Exactly, Nothing! I mean look at him! Guy's not even human! Blud's got everything. Looks, Smarts, Status, Good at sports, and basically good at everything! And most important of all he cares about you! He can provide for you! He loves you!" Link finished.

Zelda was still silent trying to make a decision.

"Compared to me I got nothing.. All I can give you is danger. Be smart about this Zelda.. Which I know you are.. Don't give up a diamond for a pebble."

Zelda nodded and stood up offered a hand to Link and Link gladly took it. He stood up as well but before they could go Zelda asked him go to his house because she wanted to apologize to Link's parents.

"I still have to apologize to your parents."

"Oh you wanna see them? Sure follow me.. They're not in the house." Link said.

"When did you move houses Link? You don't live in your old house anymore."

"Yeah we sold that house years ago.. after the uhh.. Whole thing with your private security beat down."

"I truly am sorry for that Link!"

"Water under the bridge! hehe!"

"So, why do you live with your grandparents now?"

"You'll find out later."

They arrived at the cemetery entrance and Zelda was nervous as to why Link brought her here. They continued to walk inside until they reached two grave stones next to each other.

"Here they are! You can say your sorry and pay your respects here."

"LINK! You didn't tell me they're dead!"

"Because if I did you might not have came."

After Zelda payed her respects to Links departed parents they talked again.

"How did they die Link? If I may ask, it's okay if you don't want to talk about it."

"They died on a car accident on our way to Termina City. A black car crashed unto us and I was in the back seat so I was the only one who survived. The police asked me questions but they didn't believe me, told me what I saw was only in my imagination caused by panic. They also told me they found traces of alcohol in my father's system. The thing is my father didn't drink that day. My guess is that the police were payed."

"What car was it Link!?"

"It was a black car, you know the standard car private securities use."

"The one from our private security!?"

"Yup, same one."

"Are you saying my family has something to do with this!?"

"I didn't say that.. The thing is a lot of private securities use that car.. It's pretty common for them." Link lied

"I will find out if my family has something to do with this Link! This is unacceptable!"

"I would appreciate it if you didn't."

"Why Link!?"

"Say you find out that you're family really did have my parents killed.. What then?.. Sue them and press charges?"

"Yes of course!"

"And where do you propose I get the money from? And even if I had the money they could just buy the judge, guaranteeing loosing battle for me. And then they would dispose of me and no one would bat an eye.. No one would even know I was missing!"

"But we can't just do nothing Link!"

"Then what do you propose!?"

Zelda was silent.

"That's what I thought.. Zelda, justice is only for rich people, I know it's not right but that's the way it is." Link finished.

'Oh my God she really doesn't know does she? She doesn't even know her family owns the law in this city.' Link thought to himself.

Link and Zelda left the cemetery and walked home together talking casually talking when they reached the outside of Harkinian manor Link stopped.

"I probably shouldn't go any further your dad Might see us."

Zelda nodded and gave him a hug, Link returned the hug but then he could tell she was in mental distress and he knows what it was all about.

"Don't worry I'll talk to Marth, I'll handle it."

Zelda smiled and went inside the giant gates of her mansion. Link sighed and used his super speed to get back home, his grandfather used his old generator to power the freezer so that the food won't go bad he also connected the TV so they could watch the news and just as he turned the TV on what they saw was something they didn't expect. There was chaos downtown and the police were surrounding a man who looked like he was on fire but he was laughing maniacally while shooting fire out of his hands. The cops were at a safe distance covering the people and telling them not to cross the line. Link's watch buzzed and he knew what that meant. He quickly changed into his flash out fit and ran toward downtown and within seconds he reached and stopped meters away from the fire meta-human, the people cheered him on and told him to kick this guy's a**.

"Ahhh! hahaha! FLASH! Just the man I wanted to see! My brother is in jail because of you! It's time for you to BUUUUUUUURRRNN!" The meta-human shot out a fire toward Link.

"[Vibrating Voice] Excuse me, but who was your brother!? [Vibrating Voice] "

"RAHHHH!" He felt insulted that Link didn't remember his brother who he hand put in jail.

"[Vibrating Voice] Look, I really don't know who your brother is so unless you tell me who he is I wouldn't know why you're attacking me. [Vibrating Voice]"

"RAAAHHH! He was the one you put in jail after you intervened after he and his crew stole that truck full of chemicals!" He chucked a fire ball at Link again that he easily dodged.

"[Vibrating Voice] That was him!? The uhh... *Snapping his fingers repeatedly* Nahh I couldn't remember sorry.. [Vibrating Voice]"

"WAHHHHH!" He shot an even bigger fireball at Link that he side stepped.

"[Vibrating Voice] You know your fireball is really slow. Like agonizingly slow. [Vibrating Voice]"

Another fire ball was thrown at him.

"[Vibrating Voice] Really? Which part of "Your fireball is really slow" did you not under stand? [Vibrating Voice]"

"BUUUUUUURRRNN!"

He surrounded himself with fire and punched the ground sending a heatwave unto Link's direction. Link made a circular motion with both of his hands and generated a wind that killed the fire wave.

"[Vibrating Voice] So does the fire go all over your body or is it just some areas? [Vibrating Voice]" Link joked again.

"AHHH!" Throwing another fireball at Link.

"[Vibrating Voice] And now we're back to fireballs. Is that all you can say? "rahh, wahh, ahh, and burrrrn"? So what do we call you anyway? [Vibrating Voice]"

"INFERNO!" He screamed raising his hands to the air and shooting streams of fire outwards.

"[Vibrating Voice] Inferno huh? Real original.. Did you thought of that yourself? How long did it take for you to think of that? Does your powe- [Vibrating Voice]" He was cut off by a fireball thrown at him which he dodged.

"[Vibrating Voice] Wow! rude! I'm guessing you don't want to talk. Are you a shaker? [Vibrating Voice]" Another fireball.

"[Vibrating Voice] Nope, are you a hugger? [Vibrating Voice]" It's a fire stream this time.

"[Vibrating Voice] Hey you actually learned a new move! Congratulation! [Vibrating Voice]" Another fire steam.

"[Vibrating Voice] Alright time to end this! [Vibrating Voice]"

Link ran around Inferno forming a tornado which sucked up all the oxygen slowly killing inferno's flames and also slowly making him pass out. When he passed out the police grabbed the opportunity to take him away but Link stopped them.

"[Vibrating Voice] I wouldn't do that if I were you. [Vibrating Voice]"

"What do you expect us to do then?" The cop asked annoyed at The Flash.

"[Vibrating Voice] First of all, call Star Labs ask for a tungsten barrel big enough for a gown person, poke tine wholes big enough for oxygen to get in and carbon dioxide to get out, put water in it and put the this guy inside said barrel, problem solved. [Vibrating Voice]"

"What if he just uses his powers to heat the water and evaporate it huh!? then he escapes!? Have you ever thought of that genius!?" The cop retorted.

"[Vibrating Voice] Unless he wants to boil alive. He wouldn't do it. [Vibrating Voice]"

"Maybe you forgot he's has powers of fire! He's resistant to heat!"

Link just sighed grabbed a bucket of scalding hot water and poured it to Inferno's hand scalding a small portion of his skin.

"[Vibrating Voice] Anymore questions? [Vibrating Voice]"

"But w-"

"Just do as the man says before you embarrass yourself any further okay?" Another cop cut of the other one.

They called did as Link says and took the barrel to prison you could hear Inferno screaming from within the barrel vowing to escape and taking his revenge on The flash. A lot of people cheered Link on chanting his superhero name, Link slowly took it all in. The feeling of being appreciated by thousands of people he smiled from within his mask, waved at all the thankful people around him until his earpiece spoke,

"Nice job kid. I see you didn't even need my assistance."

"I'm pretty sure I'll need it in the next fight."

"First of many kid!"

"First of many!" Link replied preparing to exit the scene.

Using his super speed he ran and all they could see was a blur with a orange lightning streak.
