No one in class 1A thought they'd ever get the opportunity to meet the America Hero group known as The Avengers. But here they were, one morning being abruptly told by their homeroom teacher that the group had to come to Japan and decided to stop by all of the Hero Schools before having to head back to the States.

Midoriya was on a rampage with how much he was muttering about everything he knew about the six heroes. He was very interested in Black Widow, Hawkeye and Iron Man due to the first two backgrounds as spies and assassins, and all three of them not having quirks. Denki had to admit that it made them even more terrifying in retrospect. After all, if they can be a part of a team with only one of them having a quirk, and the last two being experimented on to gain powers, then wouldn't that be even more impressive that they're high on not only America's Hero Ranking, but on the World Wide Hero Rankings?

Denki thought so, at least.

Don't get him wrong, he loves all the members of The Avengers, but he feels it's his obligation to like Thor more than the others. After all, Thor has essentially the same quirk as him with some added benefits of creating a storm to go with the thunder and lightning.

Denki hopes that he can get a photo with the god-like man, otherwise his family won't believe he actually met him.

As the time grew closer for The Avengers to leave it became glaringly obvious to Denki that he might not be able to actually see let alone meet Thor. The students from every class were flocking towards the arena they had used for the Sports Festival, where the six heroes would be giving some demonstrations of what they can do.

Taking a seat next to Todoroki - simply for the fact that he would either stay completely quiet the entire time, or give out wild theories and questions that would cause him to laugh. Denki thought that he wasn't going to get the photo.

He didn't pay much attention when Midoriya was brought to the arena to spar with Captain America due to their enhanced strength, or Ojiro to spar with Black Widow. Denki knew people were down there sparring with the heroes but didn't notice who it was.

After Midoriya and Ojiro, it was Kirishima and Tetsutetsu sparring with the Hulk. Following that, it was Mei Hatsume against Iron Man. Next, was a student from class 1B who had that shield type quirk made from air. Denki couldn't remember his name, and he didn't even know if the dude knew him either.

Finally, he was called up to spar against Thor. Denki's brain buzzed with energy, but not the usual kind. Todoroki stood him up, taking him down the stairs and into the arena.

"I apologise for him being like this." Todoroki started. "You are his favourite hero due to the similarities of your quirks." Once he finished his statement he bows before leaving back to his seat.

Denki laughed nervously while Thor seemed excited about the concept. It only took a few more minutes for the two of them to be ready for the spar.

Denki got his ass kicked. But he got his ass kicked by Thor himself! Not only that, but Thor told him that his lightning was stronger than what he expected upon first glance! He even gave Denki tips on regulating said electricity! This was the best day of his life!

The only thing that could make it better would be getting that photo.

Sadly, he didn't think to ask before he had to go back to his seat after the match.

Denki walked out the front door of the school, dejected. He didn't get to ask for a photo. He was heading towards the dorms when his hero name was called. Turning around he saw Thor running towards him. Denki was internally freaking out. What does he want? Did Denki do something?

He didn't get much of a chance to ask, as Thor spoke once he was standing right in front of him. "Could I get a picture with you, Chargebolt?"

What else was Denki supposed to say? No? As if! "Of course! I wanted to ask you the same thing but I forgot and everything went by so fast-" his ramblings were stopped by Thor's laugh and grin.

The hero took out his phone and got into position for the photo. Denki was perfectly fine when taking that one, but once he got his own phone out and set to take a picture his eyes started to tear up.

"I'm sorry, this is just one of the best days of my life." Thor just grinned wider, patting him on the back in encouragement.

It's been five years since that day, and Denki still has that photo. He uses it as proof for himself whenever someone tells him he wasn't good enough, or should stick to being a sidekick.

That picture never fails to bring a smile to his face and tears to his eyes. And he wouldn't have it any other way.
