"Aang you are going to have to speak with them eventually especially Toph" Roku told him
"I am trying to mediate could you not bother me right now" he said
"I am bothering you because you need to speak with them again," Roku told him
After leaving Misty Palm Oasis, Aang's anger over what happened did not just lie with Toph alone. His reasoning led him to also be angry at Sokka as well. Blaming him for the deaths of those who tried to steal Appa from them. Toph only killed them because she was given the choice of endangering her friends or sparing some complete strangers. If Sokka had not gone back on his word and done the very thing he promised not to, then they would not have needed to flee the Spirit Library as they had.
Not dwelling on the fact that he had actually helped Sokka in breaking his word both directly and indirectly something Toph brought up herself. Causing Aang to get even angrier at Sokka over this.
"Did you even think about what Toph would have done if she had not managed to hold up the Spirit Library or what Wan Shi Tong would have done to you if you were caught by him? Three humans trapped in the Spirit World at the mercy of an angry and powerful spirit" Roku asked.
Aang thought back to the previous time that he had to deal with a powerful spirit one that while it might not have had as much knowledge as Wan Shi Tong most likely had far more strength than him. Also, they were also only helping him in an attempt for their own selfish gain. Aang recalled his encounter with Koh, the Face Stealer, and how he also had his own face stolen from him that day. If Koh was just a few seconds faster then he would not be standing here today and would have shared the same fate as Kuruk's love, Ummi, did all those years ago
Also, Roku decided not to brighten up the indecent in the North Pole as a majority of those Fire Nation soldiers were not left alive after what Aang and the Ocean Spirit did. He did help the Ocean Spirit decimate the Fire Navy. Did he really think all those soldiers mostly the ones in full armor managed to live after their boats were capsized in ice cold water.
"What is done is done. There were things all of you could have done better but the intentions while good were executed in the wrong manner. Sokka could have thought of a better way, you could have handled things better, and Toph could have spared them. However, it is easy to think that because you are able to do so, always easier to think of what you could have done after the fact. I could have stopped Sozin and his desires in their tracks BEFORE it led to the wiping out of your people but I did not. I could have realized that trying to stop a volcano from being a volcano at my current age at the time was not my smartest idea" Roku told him
As Aang left, Roku sighed as Toph could learn a lot from him and vice versa as the two of them made for an interesting pair of master and student that much was for sure.
Returning from having his talk with Roku on a number of topics not just that one alone, he sees a very pissed off Katara and Toph yelling at each other over something.
"Done talking with your past lives or whatever?" Sokka asked curiously
He did not actually know what Aang did when he mediated like that fully as he did not always inform them of everything after all.
"For the most part but what is going on here," he said curiously
"Apparently there are ferries to secretly transport refugees from a protected hidden port in Full Moon Bay to the safety of Ba Sing Se. The trip takes approximately one day" Sokka told him
"That's nice but what does that have to do with us as we have..." Aang said before trailing off.
"Well people are pretending to be to you and once Toph caught wind of a group of them nearby she was not that pleased at learning this. Enraged she actually attacks them as imposters. Though they managed to at least get the basic look right it seems" Sokka said.

He avoids Katara and Toph who arguing devovled into them just literally fighting each other at this point. They both seem to hit sore spots that left them both too pissed off to think clearly thus things led to their fighting. It was fighting using just their fists alone and not their bending. Though Aang was the only one in the group who fully understood Toph beyond the limited human vocabulary she had regained at the moment. Their argument was one of emotions thus Katara did not need to understand Toph's words
"My name is Than, I am traveling with my wife Ying and my sister towards Ba Sing Se. Would you happen to be the Avatar and his party? The real one at least given you match the stories of his group the most" Than asked.
