Epilogue
Kyon hears Haruhi's crying and can feel her constant presence while in the hospital for days if not weeks. He realizes what he means to her and what she means to him.
He suddenly wakes up at a desk in the clubroom and looks confusedly looks around and finds Haruhi also sleeping besides him but with tears in her eyes.
Kyon smiles and prepares to act the part of the fool to let her believe that it was all just one bad dream.

Yeah, it's been a long time since I've touched this.
I wrote myself into a corner and didn't really know how to write a satisfying ending because this was the first and only story I've ever done. Once every year or two, I'd remember that I wrote this and try to think of an ending, get stuck once again, and then forget about it. I fell out of love with the Suzumiya franchise like most of us did so I didn't really have any enthusiasm to finish the story other than just to do it. So, this short, nondescript epilogue is the best that I'll do.
Thank you to anyone that read this and also, I'm very sorry to anyone that got an update notification and actually finished this cringey story that some teen wrote over a decade ago.
