"Aether wake up!" Aether, half asleep, heard something shuffle near him before feeling Water thrown into his Face.
"Hey, not funny!" Aether jumped up and prepared to play fight with his Sister before realizing something was off. "What's wrong?"
"The Archons are waging war against Khaenri'ah. We need to leave, the situation has spiraled out beyond our control." Lumine, who had spent the time collecting some of the things they needed to take with them, opened up her Star-map and selected one of the Stars that had appeared.
"Seems like Teyvat's Gate is open, c'mon help me" Together they calculated a way out of Teyvat. Disappearing in a flash of light, they reappeared at the Gate, only to be stopped by one of Teyvat's Gods.
The Fight didn't last long. Whilst taking Aether's Star-Sword from him the Unknown God trapped Lumine in a Box, before turning to Aether. After effortlessly parrying a Blast from Aether, the Unknown God started to encase Aether in the same Cubes that had trapped Lumine moments ago.
"Wait, don't go! Give my Sister back!" Aether pleaded, before being swallowed by the Cubes.
...
...
..
Suddenly, the Air around Aether turned cold. VERY Cold.'W...what?'Aether opened his eyes, but instead of seeing that God or Teyvats Gate he stared at a Wall.
Aether turned around and couldn't help but gasp. He appeared to be in a Cave that was thankfully shielding him from the mild Snow raining down onto the already-covered floor. Why am I freezing? Aether does a spin, not seeing Lumine at all.
"Lumine!" Aether looked outside of the Cave, he tried to summon his Wings. Why won't they appear?! Aether angrily kicked a snow heap, before bringing his Hands to his Arms, suppressing a shiver.
'Perfect' Aether thought 'I am probably in that Snow Nation Lumine talked about.' He looked around and spotted an easy climbable Tree.
Upon reaching the top, Aether does a wide search of anything that could indicate Civilization, only seeing a Pillar, around which the Snow seemed to melt the moment it touched the Ground.
'Maybe that will warm me up?' Aether, forgetting he didn't have his Wings, jumped, ready to deploy his Wings.
"Damnit!" Aether yelled, hitting a branch on his way down, which both bruised his Arm and also slowed his descent, ensuring he would not get any broken bones.
Aether scrambled up and spotted a Woman perched behind a Tree
"Uhh... hi?" Aether waved his Hand with a smile.
Almost immediately, the Woman draws a Knife out of her Cloak and throws it at Aether's leg, who dodges it just in Time.
"Hey what's your Pro-AHHh!" he trips over a Large Root, falling backward into a slope and rolling downwards.
The Woman followed him while ensuring she would not slip.
Once Aether arrived at the bottom he stumbled up to look back at the Woman, who had put on some Weird Mask and still held the Dagger in her Hand.
'No way I'm going to face her' He didn't have his Sword or powers, and the Terrain wasn't to Aether's advantage. Turning around, he notices that the Statue is less than 100 meters away. The fall through the snow had lowered his Body Temperature considerably, and snow still stuck to his exposed Skin.
Aether spun around, took a handful of Snow, threw it at the Woman, and started running towards the Statue.
Upon a closer look, Aether thought the Statue looked like a Lady pointing forward. Feeling that the Statue was warmer than the Air around him, Aether placed his hands on them.
"huh?"Aether watched as a Light Blue Orb suddenly burst out of the Lady's fingertips and settled itself in Aether's torso.
"What was tha-!" Just in Time, Aether whipped around and dodged a Knife thrown by the Woman, watching as the Woman suddenly disappeared.
"I see you..." The Woman had left a trail of Footsteps behind her, and Aether gauged where she would next step before tackling her. This led to a short shuffle because the moment Aether punched the Shoulder of the Woman Ice erupted out of his Fist and impaled the Woman's Shoulder.
"Ohhhh... I'm so sorry!" Aether blabbered, panicking as the Women had stopped moving and, upon further inspection, showed only small signs of Life.
He dragged the unconscious Woman closer to the Statue and sighed in relief as the Ice seemed to melt, revealing that it had only faintly pierced her skin.
Waiting for his Adrenaline to calm down, Aether collected his thoughts. 'What did Lumine say about the Seven Nations again? Oh...'
'What happened to Khaenri'ah?' Despite the Coldness seeming to be less of a problem to him, a shiver ran through him.
'I need to get out of this Place!' Luckily for Aether, a few feet from the Statue was a Way finder, showing multiple names with numbers next to it. The one that stood out was "морепесок", due to a Fish drawing next to it, and the Number (22km) seemed to be one of the smallest.
'Once I'm there I'll just hide in a big Boat and wait until it departs.' Aether checked on the Woman one more time, relieved to see that she was steadily breathing now, before taking one of her Knives and making his way to Smolaritsa, on a somewhat visible Road.
"-drowned, maybe?" The voice belonged to a male, but Fuun didn't recognize it.
"Urgh.. who are you?" Fuun got up and stared back at a couple of Fatui Skirmishers.
"Oh, you're alive!" the Comrade with the Cryo Delusion jumped in surprise, while the Comrade with the Electro Cicins clapped in happiness.
"We thought you were a goner, Comrade! Is everything alright?"
"Yes, carry on with whatever you were doing." Fuun replied. Not sparing the Patrol another second, she took out a small parchment and hastily wrote down what she could remember of the Boy from before.
After making sure the Paper was secure she ran back up the Hill and to the Horse which had luckily not moved from the Spot. After climbing on the Horse she hurried back to the main path and made her way towards Smolaritsa.
Glancing up at the Sky, it seemed like only a couple of hours had passed since. She had to get the news of the recent developments in the East to Lord Pierro as soon as possible.
"Come in..." Lieutenant ostŭr's seemingly tired Voice rang through the Door, making Vesti straighten himself before entering.
"Sir, I bring you a message from Lord Pulcinella, it has been requested that you read it immediately" Vesti crossed the Room and handed Lieutenant ostŭr the Letter.
"Very well let's see what he has to say.." Lieutenant ostŭr opened the Letter and began to read it. It didn't take long until Lieutenant ostŭr became seemingly nervous.
"A dangerous fugitive has escaped and is making his way towards our Outpost. Tell the Guards to ring the Alarm." Lieutenant ostŭr jogs past Vesti toward the Armory.
Vesti followed him through the Door and made a sharp right toward the Gate he had just arrived at a few minutes ago.
"What the..?!" thanks to the Dark Night and Cloudy Sky Vesti did not see that the Guards were lying on the Ground. Crouching down,
Vesti could feel some signs of breathing from the first Guard, but before being able to Move to the second, a great sword got drawn right before his throat and someone pressed their Hand against his Coat.
"Hand over the Letter." a Voice called from Behind him.
"I-I don't have it with me.. Ar-" The Blade went close to his Throat and the grip on his Coat became tighter.
"It's in the Lieutenant's Office!" Vesti let out a sigh of relief as he saw the Claymore get pulled back before feeling something heavy hit his Head and-.
Letting the Fatuu drop to the Ground, Diluc made his way into the Camp of the Fatui. He watched as a Man walked out of a Building wielding a Purple Hammer and a purple Delusion hanging from his Hip.
"Messenger? Where are you?" the Fatuus called. In response Diluc sent a fierce Phoenix at the Fatuu, making them fall to the Ground.
"WAKE UP! AMBHSnsmcj!" Before ostŭr could say anything more Diluc gagged and chained the Fatuu and dragged him with him to the Office, taking the Letter with him before disappearing in the dead of Night.
...
"Wake up Comrade!" After what felt like an Eternity Vesti got jolted awake.
"Who did this to you?" A passive-aggressive voice barked into Vesti's ear.
"I..I don't know! He immediately held me hostage!
"Hmm... What Weapon did he use and where is Agent ostŭr?" The voice had softened and Vesti could spot the outline of an Agent standing in front of him.
"A Claymore. I don't know, he went towards the Armory and ordered me to alert the Guards before someone ambushed me." The Agent helped Vestin back up.
"I am Agent Fuun." The Agent pulled out a badge, revealing a famous badge signaling an Agent's allegiance directly to the Director. "I order you and the rest of the Fatuu stationed here to comb the surrounding areas until you find someone with Red Hair who wields a Pyro Vision and a Claymore. Eliminate them at all Costs."
Fuun wrote down the Orders while saying them and stamped the Paper with her Insigma, before handing the Paper to Vestin.
With that Agent Fuun took off into the Wilderness.
Notes:
Well that's it for now!
You can expect an Update in 1-3 weeks or 1 Year, depending on how driven i am and how bored i get during Lunch Break and studying :P.
This will be a Gen FanFic, because Aether always has an ACE up his sleeve when People try to flirt with him. (Badum-Tsss!)
Might write some M/M and M/F one-shots but don't expect that to happen anytime soon.
Next up is a a Chapter dedicated towards Tartaglia!
