Kaito P.O.V
The heist went great. The karate champs beat the crap out of a lot of crows and I found the jewel but...nada..."I told you to...quit...Kid!" growled Spider and with that he used chlorophome, knocking me out.
-Several Weeks Later-
Shinichi P.O.V
I searched non-stop for him until I found him beaten and bruised up in an alley. Hakuba and I drove him to the hospital. I found out the Nakamouris knew his secret and were family to him. "Need me to call the Nakamouris?" I asked. "Keibu...he's like a dad...please call Keibu." he said close to tears. I nodded sending the call to Keibu.
"Nakamouri-Keibu we found him." I said.
-At the Hospital-
Kaito P.O.V
I smiled too injured to say much but remembered the torture. I felt Shinichi gently massaging my hand softly. "We caught the people who killed your dad. They are arrested for murder, kidnapping abuse and rape." he said. Yup. Spider raped me numerous times saying Toichi's brat was nice and tight like he liked it. I sighed nuzzleing against Shinichi. "Thanks...for saving me. You're always my favorite...critic." I said sobbing.
Shinichi P.O.V
"I'll give you 2 alone time. "said Keibu. "And Kudo-kun...if you ever hurt him...I know a million ways to kill someone and make it look accidental." he whispered the last part. Kaito said he was like a dad to him. "Hai Keibu." I answered.
-A few days Later-
Shinichi P.O.V
Kaito was released and I had him live with me. Hakuba and Aoko came by every day to check on him. He was now babysitting the Shonen Tentei and I had him retire as Kid. "You're good for him you know that...not having him do anything dangerous after what happened" Aoko said smileing. "He decided to become a well known magician but to do that he had to retire from his old job." I said sipping coffee. Aoko had joined me for coffee. "True. "she answered. "He already paid his time too. The task force just wanted community service since they pretty much raised him and asked he have therapy."
"Is that required?" I said. "Its probably a good idea for you too. Especially after what happened to you. But Kaito's dad died in front of him and then he was tortured and raped. So the task force wanted it worried about him. They suggested having your friend Ran's mom pick since she knew good therapists for criminals." said Aoko.
I smiled guessing it was a good idea but in both of our cases it was near impossible to see one. "You have a point but it was near impossible at times due to who targeted us. " I said. Aoko gently hugged me. "People like that are horrible. I feel horrible at times for how I described Kid in front of Kaito before I knew who he was. Now that I know and why he did what he did hopefully things get better." she said.

"My mom agreed to be a therapist as well as a lawyer. So are you ok with..." Ran began. "Um I am used to hideing everything and..." I began. "You can vent anything. Try that."she said. I sighed and entered the building.
