A/N: Well hello everyone so this story might come a bit out of nowhere especially in a series that's relatively obscure (at least as far as I gathered) but Secrets of Sulphur Springs was a show I recently got into and enjoyed quite a bit (and am very sad is now cancelled) so I couldn't resist not making a story set in that universe and in classic me fashion I have to interconnect it within my multiverse fanfiction series known as "The Collective Chronicles."

Now this story is relatively interesting because it will run parallel (or better concurrently) with the next main installment in the series "Revenge of the Wolf King" as well "Unforgivable Sinner" what does this mean. It means that these three stories sort of happen around the same time though I will try to make them stand on their own as much as possible.

But enough about me trying to explain let's get into the story.

It was a sunny and peaceful afternoon in Sulphur Springs as Griffin and Harper walked through the forests near the Tremont holding their hands.

It had been about a month since they managed to vanquish Judge Walker's evil spirit, saw what their future now held and embraced it. Their families where happy and save and business at the Tremont was flourishing it was all and all a good time for both families.

There was just one question hanging over their heads.

"So…what are we going to do about the time machine?" Harper asked.

Griffin shrugged "I don't know…"

They had been deliberating on this for a few weeks now. Ever since Sam's spirit had passed on and seeing that their future was going to be alright, they were wondering on whether or not to permanently destroy the time machine. It was a hard question without a solid answer. Ever since they found it, their lives had changed for the better and the worse. Using the time machine gave them so many opportunities to learn more about the past.

Yet it also had brought with it a lot of challenges. Opened the door to attacks on their lives, so much so they had considered destroying it before another evil ghost would make its way to them.

They felt like it wasn't worth keeping the thing around with all the damage it had caused. Even if it meant they couldn't see Savannah ever again. It was a terrifying thought losing her as a friend but considering all the horrors that the time machine had

The couple looked at one another and nodded. They began walking towards the Tremont, passing by everyone and going to the place that had started this adventure; the basement. As they walked down the stairs, Harper made an instant dash towards the secret entrance away just as Griffin stepped down the last flight of stairs. The moment he did, he slipped out over the small mat laying there and planted face first on the ground.

"Griffin!"

Harper returned back to Griffin and helped him up. The boy rubbed his head as his girlfriend helped him stand back up.

"What was that about?" Harper asked.

"Nothing I just slipped that's all…"

He turned around to look over and point at the mat that had deviously made him slip and fall, but instead his eyes, as well as Harper's eyes where greeted by a sight that they didn't expect. Underneath the now slipped mat lay a book. One that they could never remember seeing before or recall having put there. On it was a note.

With curious eyes Griffin walked over towards the book and picked it up. He took off the note from it and opened it up.

"It's from Savannah," Griffin said before he read to Harper what she had written down.

"Dear Harper & Griffin,

I found this diary in a secret compartment in the basement and it has some weird wacky shit written in it. Maybe in the future you guys can figure out what it means?.

Savannah."

After Griffin finished reading out the note he looked over at Harper and saw that all too familiar hungry look in her eyes. A hunger for knowledge and answers. Without a word she immediately grabbed the book out of Griffin's hands.

"Hey you could ask you know!" Griffin said with a gruff.

Harper smiled at him "I know but you got me curious I want to see what this all about."

And with that she opened the book and Griffin stood beside her, reading alongside her the first page of the book.

"Entry #1: November 1960

The secrets in this place have been a wonderful asset in this little experiment. With the seemingly mystical abilities of the nearby springs and the access to the little secret this place holds, I will be able to conduct my experiment in complete freedom and security. The big boss has no idea of what I'm attempting here and I'd like to keep it that way for the time being, to see if my little project bears fruit.

Signed, KJ."

Harper and Griffin looked at each other in confusion and intrigue as they read through the first page and they both knew that their plan to destroy the time machine wasn't happening. For a new mystery had unfolded itself and it demanded answers.
