Chapter 51

The Shadow Deal

Back in Japan as said before things were brewing in the shadows. Spinner had just made a deal with the Eternal Ronin and now await for them in there hideout. Shigaraki was informed and immediately weary of it considering last time. So he had body guards if you could call them, at his sides while they waited. As they waited they started to question a lot. Why were the Eternals returning to Japan, what was going on underneath the soil, more importantly, why make this deal? It didn't benefit them so what was the purpose? No one knew and that's what made it unnerving when the Eternal and his entourage made it to the entrance of there hideout. Spinner had entered side by side with this Ronin whose bamboo hat hid most of there face.

They had then seen the guards that the Eternal seem to bring with him outside looking in and arms on there weapons already. They looked far different, wearing the old Samurai armor the Eternals had developed to emulate the style of the Samurais of old. Shigaraki was weary… he scratched his neck as he stared at the Ronin, whose head was down and to the floor. Spinner could see the tension and felt very on edge as he saw Shigaraki's "guards" begin to draw there weapons. He cleared his throat and introduced the Ronin.

"Ahem, Shigaraki, and League I give you… what was your name again?" Spinner asked the Ronin who turned his head to meet him.

The Ronin then cracked there neck with an audible crunch and stepped forward once. He saw the guards pull out there weapons and prime there quirks. He then heard the guard he brought draw there's. He raised his hand as a show of guns down. His guards listened, Shigaraki's did not. The Ronin then sighed and spoke.

"You may simply call me Kuramata Onzai, I am an emissary brought by my faithful… leader." The Ronin, Kuramata said with Spinner looking shocked.

"I thought your name was something else? Urein wasn't it?" Spinner asked with Kuramata turning to face him.

"Sorry to say but I lied, now on to business Shigaraki." Kuramata said with Shigaraki tilting his head.

"What business? Us leaving the other alone?" Shigaraki asked with Kuramata shaking his head.

"You should be more clever then that. We want an alliance." Kuramata said showing signs of smiling underneath there mask.

"Why?" Shigaraki asked

"Well-" before Kuramata could finish Shigaraki cut him off.

"No, why should we trust you? Last person we made a deal with didn't end well. So why should we?" Shigaraki insisted on the question. Kuramata simply sighed.

"I assure you, we are NOT like the Yakuza, we know honor and chivalry better than that madman." Kuramata said with Shigaraki shaking his head.

"That's not enough. Whose your leader, I would like to meet them."

"He's busy at the moment but sends his regards."

"Then leave while you still can or else you won't see that sunrise." Shigaraki threatened with Kuramata unphased.

This just pissed him off more seeing the unflinching man standing there. However, he was also impressed by this machines sternness in the face of such aggression. Shigaraki now wanted to see if the stories were true about these machines, the stories of there speed. He grabbed a piece of rubble next to him and threw it at Kuramata. Kuramata grabbed it and looked at it. He then turned to face Shigaraki and crushed it without a single piece of hesitation.

"If that was your way of threats, I suggest try something else. Now, besides that PLEASE reconsider our deal, we assure you it is beneficial to both of us." Kuramata said with Shigaraki glaring still.

"Just who do you think you are? Thinking you can give this shady deal to us? We won't take it, Spinner, get rid of them." Shigaraki said with Spinner taken aback.

"Shigaraki please, hear them out." Spinner tried to reason but it was to no avail.

"I've heard enough, these people think they can make deals with us? It was your people who fell first, why would you think you have strength? We are not just NPC's, we are the main party and you a lack luster side quest. MEN, show them our strength." Shigaraki ordered with his guards pointing there weapons at Kuramata and his own entourage.

Kuramata sighed and put his hand on his Katana while his entourage raised rifles at the villains. Kuramata's eyes shined right into Shigaraki's and they shined with a fire of determination. Before anything could happen though a new figure entered the scene, this one on the side of these Eternals. The figure put there hand on Kuramata's shoulder and Kuramata looked to see a larger and more decorated Eternal. They smirked and Kuramata decided to let them talk.

"Apologies for the late arrive but like my friend here says I am a VERY busy man." the figure said with a smile.

The man wore an officer armor of the Shogun's forces, a blend of Imperial Japan and Samurai lord. A fox pelt on there hip and a cloth band on there right arm. They wore an imperial Samurai helmet that had a disk on it in between horns, just like the old models. The colors were a muted gray with wintery white trims and a black sash on there hip that the fox pelt connected to. Shigaraki couldn't help but question why this man wore such accessories. There chest showed there worth with a large amount of medals and other rank badges.

"Who are you?" Shigaraki asked leaving the figure to smirk and give a rather snarky response.

"A man that'd make your Nomu's look like child's play." they said leaving Shigaraki ticked off.

"Then give your name."

"Ah that is unimportant now, just call me, The Daimyo." The Daimyo answered smiling as he did so. This man had a large sense of pride in who they were.

"I'm vaguely aware there wasn't just one Daimyo your lord had so which are you?"

"Like I said it is unimportant at this moment, just know that we mean good things, NOT terrible ones."

"Well I don't want to here it, whatever deal you had, consider it canceled."

"Than I guess you don't want to ally one who isn't with us?" The Daimyo asked raising an eyebrow as he did so.

Shigaraki was taken aback and told his men to stand down. They did so hesitantly still staring down these Eternals. Then The Daimyo smirked and chuckled as Shigaraki tried to understand what they were meaning.

"What do you mean, another not with you?"

"I mean come now, you didn't think we were the ONLY group of Eternals on the isle of the rising sun?"

"Where are they?"

"In a scrapyard on Kyushu. Most know of it as a dead zone due to… unforeseen accidents by these Eternals. Ask for a man who calls themselves the Mad King, an alliance with him, will surely lead to progress."

"And what do you gain from this?"

"Well stay away from us and we give you the opportunity. Guides will show you were to go. BUT, if you don't want our help we shall leave without another word." The Daimyo said beginning to turn around.

"WAIT!" Shigaraki yelled out stopping the Daimyo and the Eternals from leaving. "We will accept, when will we get aid?" Shigaraki asked.

"Expect it within a week or so, we need time to get the right equipment set up as do you. See you soon, Shigaraki." The Daimyo said tossing something to him.

It was a little device with a note on it. On the note said, you'll need this. The device itself was round and had an orb in the center of it. Pressing down on the orb made it light up and show a holographic map of Japan, with a blip on Kyushu. It was pretty understandable that this was showing the Mad King and his own, realm in the rubble. Shigaraki looked up and saw the Daimyo smirk at him before turning away. Before he and the other Eternals left he spoke to Shigaraki.

"Watch yourself Young Shigaraki, while we may wish for a truce with you, don't mistake it for peace. When we retake our Empire, you and rest of the League will burn. Powers or not, the future will not be in your favor. Enjoy our truce, Shigaraki." The Daimyo said as he walked away with the others, laughing as he did so.

Shigaraki was pissed at that. To insult him and threaten that he won't be able to take them on, they've got another thing coming. Then again, this type of honesty, at least warns them that this whole thing is temporary. Spinner went up to Shigaraki who gave him the device and began walking away. Spinner turned to face him but Shigaraki shot him down before he could speak.

"I don't like this, but Spinner… good work on getting this set up made." He said through a sneer.

"I-I understand Shigaraki, I did not mean to insult you or for this to happen. I'm sure these guys won't be that brash till much later." Spinner said with Shigaraki shaking his head low and walking away.

Spinner looked at the device and thought on what the Daimyo had said. Perhaps, he should think about moving out of this group, if he even can that is. Well no matter, soon, they will meet up with this so called, Mad King, and get a worthy ally against the Heroes. Soon, they will fear them again.
