Manny Noceda awoke in a strange room. His memory was foggy at best. He remembered Luz and Camila visiting him at the hospital then the rest is a blur. As he tried to get up he realized his strength was back. Heck he felt 25 again. As he got up he noticed he was in strange clothes. They looked like a costume a bard would wear at a larping festival. As he got a better look of

his surroundings, things were stranger. The room he was in had a lot of oddities. Mostly were the pictures of a woman pale as a ghost with pointy ears. Manny then looked outside a nearby window and was horrified by what he saw. Demons were everywhere. He quickly came to the conclusion"I ended up in hell." He said as footsteps began to approach the room. Not wanting to face what was behind the door…..

Meanwhile….

Amity and Eda were celebrating a job well done with some hard apple blood. " I'd like to give a toast. To giving death the bird." Eda said to which Amity cheered as the two chugged their apple blood."How long before he comes to?" Amity asked. As she wiped apple blood off her face. "He should wake up in an hour or so. When he wakes up we can explain everything and ease him into it all." Eda said as they began to hear footsteps above them. "Oh titan he is up already." Amity said as the two made their way upstairs. However just as the two reached the door they heard the window smash. Opening it they saw that Manny was long gone. " Great!" he freaked out and bolted." Amity said.

"How do you know he freaked out?" Eda said."Eda he is a human in the demon realm for the 1st time after being brought back from the dead. Of course he is gonna freak out." Amity said, visibly frustrated." Well he can't have gotten far, let's go after him.." Eda said as the two made their way out of the house….

Later….

Manny Noceda was running as fast as his legs would allow him. "What could I have done in life to end up in this god forsaken place?" He said as he caught his breath. Looking around he saw a small fairy fluttering in the wind. "What are you doing here little one?" He said as the fairy unhinged its jaw shouting. "Let me eat your skin!" Before Manny smacked to the ground and stomped on it till it was no more. "Ok this is definitely hell." He said as he saw two beings fly overhead. "Relax Manny. Take a deep breath. You're smart. You can find a way out of this." He said as he stumbled and fell back into a massive web.

Struggling to free himself from the web. It didn't take long till he saw the creature that made the web. A spider of massive proportions approached him with its fangs dripping with creature was quick to wrap him in a coccoun .Manny was freaking out and screaming as it drew nearer. It was then a figure landed behind the spider drawing its attention. The being was the size of a person but Manny couldn't make it out due to the webbing obstructing much of his vision. The spider lunged at the person who dogged it with exceptional speed. "Come on you ugly bug I've got better things to do today so let him go." The being said in a woman's voice.

The spider tried to strike again but missed at the with one precise jab at the spider's body it was driven off. Manny breathed a sigh of relief. "Let me get you out of their bud." The voice said as she cut through the web. As his vision came back to him The figure took form. It was some kind of harpy woman with a metal hook for a hand and black eyes with a yellow pupil. Terrified of the being before him he screamed, punching her in the face before running towards town.

Amity, having heard the fight, landed nearby Eda."What happened?" Amity asked. "Saved him from a giant spider and what do I get for a thank you. A punch to the face. Eda said as she rubbed her left eye. "Well maybe don't be in harpy mode for a human who knows nothing of the demon realm." Amity said. "Fair point. We better find him. He was running towards Bonesbourough." Eda said. "If we're gonna catch him we're gonna need some back up." Amity said, pulling out her phone…

In Bonesbourough….

Manny made his way into town. What he saw was both amazing yet terrifying. Everyone who walked through the market had pointed ears or was some kind of demon. "Hey watch bud im crawling here." Said a bug demon who Manny nearly stepped on. "Oh my bad." Manny said as he thought to himself "Did I just apologize to it?" As he thought that he swore he saw a familiar face. He followed the being and saw it was Camila. "Mi amor is it really you?" He asked as she turned around. "Yes my love it's me." She said as Manny was delighted to see a familiar face. "Camila I thought I'd never see you again. How did you end up in hell?" He asked.

"My Love you're not in hell. This is the demon realm. An alt dimension that borders our realm."

She said, "Wait, I'm not dead?" Manny said. "It's a long complicated story. Please allow me to explain it all over some tea." She said, This left Manny quite puzzled. Camila had been a fond tea drinker but throughout their entire marriage he had never been quite fond of tea, preferring his coffee."Ok dear you lead the way." Manny said as Camila walked over to a door. "The demon realm is a land of magic and wonder. Occasionally people end up here when they die." Camila said as the door revealed a magic portal. The two walked through it and soon Manny was in his house."Am I really home?" Manny said."Yes my love now how about i make tea and some coffee for you. How was it again? It's been so long I forgot." Camila said."Just black with 2 sugars." Manny said as he looked around the house.

It had changed since he was gone. Pics of Luz through the years ,Though Manny paused as he saw a Picture of Camila,Luz and a strange girl she had never seen before."Camila who is this girl?" Manny said. "Oh a few years after you passed i adopted a girl named Vee. She and Luz have formed a lovely sisterly bond." Camila said as she handed him his coffee. The hot beverage seemed to help him clear his head. The two made their way to the kitchen as Camila explained the demon realm to him. As Manny got it all in his head he took a good look at the fridge and noticed on the fridge door a pic of the 2 that had chased him. "Who are those 2 on the fridge dear?" Manny asked.

Camila looked at the fridge to see a pic of Amity and Eda."Oh that's don't I catch you up on what's up with Luz." She said, trying to change the subject. This caught Manny's attention." You know I swear I saw one of them earlier." Manny said. "Wow, that's quite strange. The demon realm is full of people." Camila said desperate to try to change the subject. It was at this moment that Manny's surroundings began to morph. What was his house now became a building Similar to the one he had escaped.

Suddenly someone with dreads walked out of a closet."Sorry I couldn't hold the illusion any longer." The person."Dammit Gus why did you have to say that." Camila said. "Wait a minute this is not my beautiful house." Manny said as he began to panic."Manny Please calm down I can explain." Camila said. It was at this moment he saw that what he thought was Camila began to lose shape and turned into a slug like creature.

"This is not my beautiful wife" Manny said as he went into a full blown panic running as far away from that building as his legs would take him."Dammit what do we tell Amity and Eda." Vee said as she looked over to Gus."I'll call her." Gus said "But what about Manny?" Vee asked.

Gus looked over at the basilisk. "We have to bring him into this." Gus said as Vee looked upon the illusionist with shock.
