Chapter 2 Dancing with a overlord
Carmilla Carmine's House, 4 months before the Extermination and finding Vaggie
"Clara sweetheart, is it true that you're dating Princess Carlie's bodyguard." Carmilla asked her daughter who was looking down at the multiple pictures on her mother's desk. In the pictures was herself, Velvett and Vince having a great time while on what was obviously a date. One of the pictures was both the girls giving him a kiss on both of his cheeks while Velvette took a picture of the three of them.
Clara, a female demon with puce skin and curly cream hair, one of Carmilla Carmine daughters was wearing a black top and dark blue jeans, she was nervously looking down at the pictures while thinking about what to say to her mother.
She gathered all of her bravery and said, "Si Mama I am, and I love him and Velvette too." She then heard her mother curse.
"Mierda" Carmilla sighed as she rubbed her head and realized she now had to deal with Velvette's shitty attitude. Speaking of the two, both Vince and Velvette were outside of her office waiting for Clara to be finished talking with her. She had to pull her daughter inside to talk to her. She then looked at her daughter who was nervous and trying to look everywhere but her mother's eyes, anyway Carmilla couldn't stay mad at her daughter.
"Hija it's alright I'm not mad at you, I just wish you would tell me sooner before I had to see those photos.
"Yes Mom, lo entiendo" Clara replied a bit ashamed. Camilia stood up as she went to her daughter and hugged her for reassurance. She felt her daughter tense but relaxed almost immediately as she hugged her back too.
"It's alright Hija. I approve of your relationship, but it's hard to see you dating because I care a lot about your safety. I just hope your relationship goes well but I will have to get used to the other two." Carmilla muttered angrily at the last part as she thought about Vince dating her precious daughter.
"Gracias's mama. " Clara smiled at her mom. Camilla smiled back as she and her daughter broke apart their hug.
"Alright let's not keep them waiting. I bet they're worried about you." Clara smiled as she nodded as they both walked towards the door. As Carmilla opened the door, she heard something she hated as Velvette greeted her in a mocking voice.
"Finally, took you long enough, old windbag." Carmilla's eyes twitched as she looked at an annoyed looking Velvette while her daughter sighed but couldn't stop herself from smiling nervously at Velvette and Vince.
"Good to see you, Velvette." Carmilla said as she gritted her teeth while she glared at Velvette. She really disliked her fellow overlords' snarky ass remarks and attitude with absolutely no respect at all.
"Mm yes, good to not see you really, we were just here, worrying about our girlfriend here." Velvett said as she pointed at Clara while she was on her phone.
Clara smiled at Velvette but was nervous because of the tension between her mother and Velvette. It's no surprise, after all the Overlords really didn't get along with each other.
"Now Amore mio be respectful now." Said Vince in a teasing voice trying to ease the tension, Velvette scoffed and rolled her eyes as she grumbled "How can I be respectful when the three of us were having a good date then grandma here had to call ClaCla to interrupted us because she found out about the three of us dating? That's fucking cockblocking!" Velvette angrily said as she stared at her phone, writing down about a selfish mother interrupting a sweet date.
Vince sighed as his red eyes looked at Velvette who was still looking upset. He squeezed her shoulder with his hand rubbing it to reassure her that everything was alright. It worked when he saw her being less tense and felt her hand cover his hand and squeezing it a little to let him know she was ok. She had a ghostly smile that no one noticed.
How can this bodyguard from the princess make her happy? Velvett doesn't admit it and would never say it out loud to anyone, but he does make her happy when she usually give shit to anyone but with Vince she feels safe, and he can take her snarky remarks by just rolling his eyes, she still won't show weakness and let the old lady have a satisfaction to see her this way.
Carmilla looked at this interaction amused but still annoyed with Velvette's presence. She was really surprised that Vince somehow managed to calm Velvette down a bit. Usually when she is around Velvette, she would try her best to piss everyone off, she would insult and call people names but also use her phone to have her followers bullying anyone she didn't like, but this was new.
She cleared her throat and looked at Vince while Velvette and her daughter looked at her as she spoke.
"Alright both of you can date my daughter as long as you keep her safe like she was a princess." Vince nodded and said.
"Well, I think I won't have much trouble on that point." while Velvette rolled her eyes. Her daughter seemed happy about it when she went to Vince to kiss him which made Camilla look away. She also saw Velvette with her phone taking a selfie of herself with Vince and Clara kissing each other in the background.
She cleared her throat to get their attention and Vince and Clara broke apart and her daughter blushed realizing she just kissed her boyfriend in front of her mom and avoided eye contact with her, Velvette was still on her phone but was paying attention to what Camilla had to say.
"As much as I don't want to see that again, I have a proposition for you." Camilla said, staring at Vince who was paying attention and narrowing his eyes as well. While Velvette rolled her eyes because Carmilla was wasting their time and she wanted to fucking leave to continue their date then she go back to the Vee's tower to do her business.
Vince stared right back at Carmilla, studying what she really said, and he was thinking of a lot of possibilities since he is the Princess' bodyguard. Raising his awareness and trying to analyze the overlord's intentions, he decided to answer her question carefully. "May I know what kind of proposition?" he asked slowly. He saw Carmilla smirk, and he knew that there was something she wanted.
"Spar with me to show that you are able to protect my daughter." Vince was surprised while Velvette narrowed her eyes at the person she respected the least while Clara was surprised and nervous.
Velvette scoffed as she spoke up as she got besides Clara and put her arms around her waist "Are you fucking kidding me old woman ? Really a spar ? Your kind of wasting our time so he can date our girlfriend." Carmilla rolled her eyes as gritted her teeth. She really did hate Velvette but decided to ignore her as she stared at Vince who gave her a blank expression processing the information.
Vince then smirked "Alright then I accept ma'am Carmine." He saw Carmilla smiling while he heard Velvett sighed in annoyance but stayed silent.
"Then follow me" he nodded as he walked besides Carmilla to her empty living room. Clara and Velvette were following behind them. They both saw Vince arms behind his back, and he looked relaxed.
Velvette looked at Clara who was worried what her mom was going to do so Velvette asked her a question.
"Cla, I love you but why does your windbag of a mom does this all the time, you know the having duets with enemies, is it to bore them to fucking sleep or something like that?"
Clara looked at Velvette as she thought about whether anyone wanted to fight her mom in a dance duet, they had to deal with her mom's Combat Ballet and her ability to be very agile, she is without a doubt a very good overlord, which means a very dangerous one as well.
Clara thought about and wanted to tell her girlfriend about what her mom is able to do but decided not to give any details and see for herself.
"You will see Velvette but please be respectful toward my mom." which Velvette sighed in annoyance.
"Alright I'll try Love, but she ain't making it easy" Clara nodded but she saw Velvette still not happy, so she discreetly kissed Velvette's nape which surprised Velvette making Clara smiled.
"It will be alright babe we will see what happens. You know he can handle himself. He is strong in his own right. After all, he is the bodyguard of Princess Charlie."
Velvette chuckled as she agreed with her girlfriend, "You bloody damn right! Our hunk of a man definitely can handle himself; I would definitely see him wipe the damn floor with you mom." Clara sighed at Velvette insulting her mom again but let it slide. She and Velvette smiled at each other as they still held hands as they walked to one of the guardrails overlooking the empty ballroom.
They were not alone, someone else was also there overlooking the ballroom. It was Clara who recognized the person, it was her sister Odette, a female demon with white skin, blond hair who also had horns on her head, she's wearing a white lab coat and circular red glasses over red sclera white irises' eyes which were staring at her mother and Vince getting down the stairs to the ballroom. She was on her tablet overlooking people purchasing her mother's angelic weapons.
"Hola Odette" Odette looked up from her pad as she knew the voice behind her, she smiled as she looked back seeing both her sister and Velvette.
"Hola Hermana and to you too Velvette." Velvette gave her a nod while looking at her phone, she definitely was going to record what was going to happen. While Clara smiled and nodded back as they joined her. They saw Vince and Carmilla facing each other.
"So, Werewolf, what kind of weapon are you going to use?" Carmilla asked him. Vince didn't say anything as he held his hand on the side and let a red aura spread around his hand as a small portal opened, surprising Carmilla. He reached in to grab his weapon and what came out was an all-black saber with angelic steel on the edge of the sword.
"I would say I'm surprised, how a sinner like you has that type of power. Summoning a portal to get your weapon is no small feat." Said Carmilla impressed. Vince smiled as he replied back to her
"Well that's the perks of being the bodyguard of Lucifer's daughter. He might have blessed me so I can have a little more power to make sure that his daughter will be safe."
Velvette whistled and smirked, as she still held her phone out to record. "Damn ! This is going to be interesting." Clara and Odette were surprised as well that he can summon a small portal to get his weapons.
"Shall we begin ma'am Carmine?" Vince said as he took his trench coat off and threw it on the side pointing his saber at her and putting his left arm near his back, carefully studying her.
Carmilla smirked as she snapped her finger and a small radio in the room started playing.
Sway (Michale Buble).
The music started to play as Carmilla took her hair down and got focused as she smiled.
"Yes, indeed we shall."
"When the Marimba Rhythms start to play Dance with me, sway with me Like an ocean Hugs the shore hold me close sway with me more."
Vince and Carmilla started to circle around each other dragging their feet slowly wondering who is going to make a move first so Vince decided to make the first move by running to her with his saber thinking he saw an opening, he swung at her and to his surprise she bend backwards and used her heels to sway with ease away from him.
"Like a flower bending in the breeze, Bend with me sway with ease."
Vince was surprised but kind of expected he did have a file on every overlord and sinner. On whoever could want to harm the princess at least. But he didn't expect Carmilla to be elegantly slippery. Vince smirked; this is going to be interesting.
The song kept going "When we dance You have a way with me stay with me dance with me."
"If you want to keep up with me you then have to do that and follow my movements." Vince heard Carmilla say as she quickly was right behind him, she was about to sweep his legs to trip him, but he did a backflip away from him to face her.
"Other dancers may be on the floor Dear but my eyes will see only you Only you that magic technique when we sway, I go weak."
He chuckled "Alright then I may have almost had my guard down, but I'll definitely keep my eyes on your movement miss Carmine."
They faced each other again as Carmilla then slid step towards him as he ran towards her too as she raised one of her legs to use her angelic heels to hit him.
"I can hear the sounds of violins long before it begins."
His saber connected with her Angelic heels, but she put more effort into it, so he was holding on to his saber trying to push her back. He heard another sound thanks to his enhanced hearing as his ears were raised and his tail straightened up, he bent down quickly and disconnected their weapons with one another as her other leg armed with her angelic heels was supposed to hit him, but she did cut a little bit of strands of silver fur that fell off. He twisted as he faced her again.
"Make me Thrill as only you know how to sway with me smooth, sway with me."
"Impressive." Carmilla smiled as she counited "Usually I have my enemies on the ground groaning in pain. You are impressive Vince, but I want to see if you can catch up with me." He chuckled and said nothing as he got focused on what Carmilla was going to do.
Velvette didn't say anything but she was focused one this, she admitted the rival that she annoyed and make smart remarks was quick and very agile, not wonder why she is a very formidable Overlord but she got out of her thoughts focused on the task at hand to see what happens next as she was still recording while Clara and Odette were surprised because of the way they saw Vince and their mother fight/dancing.
The music was still playing as Carmilla and Vince then started to run towards each other, and they let their weapons hit again and again to try and find an opening, in an instant they broke the contact, and the next they were running again as if they were dancing as the song continued.
"Other dancers may be on the floor Dear but my eyes will only see you. Only you have that magic technique when we sway I grow weeeeeeak."
Vince heard Velvette cheering for him "Come on Love ! Beat that grandma's ass for me." he chuckled as he heard Clara and Odette sigh and shake their heads. He and Carmilla connected again and broke apart again. He then saw Carmilla twirl towards the staircase and get on the railing as he ran and followed her as he got on the stairs and was about to swing again and she jumped on the pole.
"I can Hear the sounds of Violins Long before it begins."
He was about to jump to her but she jumped away and slid past him to get to the ballroom, so he turned around and he used the side of the stairs to slide, and then jumped and tried to land in front of her with his saber raised up.
"Make me thrill as you know how sway me smooth sway me now."
She raised her leg up to block his saber, but he realized he accidently did leave himself open when he saw her smirking and quickly using the advantage by grabbing his arm and throwing him on the ground, not too hard.
He gritted his teeth as he hit the ground, but he still held onto his saber a bit as he heard Velvette cussing and saw Carmilla's eyes twitching from Velvette throwing names at her, but she didn't let it affect her.
"When the Marimba rhythms start to play dance with me, make me sway"
He held up his saber as quickly as her angelic heels connected with his saber, he was thinking hard and saw an opening as he looked at her other leg and used his strength to make her lose her balance which she did then he used his leg to sweep her other leg to make her fall and he tried to kick her but she blocked the hit with her arms.
"Impressive Vince, you definitely can catch up with me. Few other people can but you are very different, I have an efficient style to attack and to protect myself too. I admire your tenacity, but we are not done yet."
Vince who was breathing quickly but not too hard gladly took the compliment.
"Well, I appreciate the compliment ma'am Carmine but I'm not giving up yet." He ran towards her as Carmilla straight up and slid towards him using her heels.
"Like a lazy ocean Hugs the shore hold me close sway me more."
He then slashed with his saber, but she dodged, and tried to slash him using her heels, but he dodged them, they were definitely dancing, and Velvette was really impressed and focused cheering for her boyfriend. While Clara and Odette were focusing on this too because they never saw anyone give their mother a hard time, but Vince and Carmella were definitely having a good time.
"Like the flower Bending in the breeze, Bend with me sway with me."
Carmilla was not tired at all as both of them were dodging their attacks with one another. She did see Vince's movements slowing a bit. He may not show he's tired, but he was definitely getting tired. He impressed her, but she will show him why she's an overlord.
"When we dance you have a way with me stay with me stay with me."
Vince noticed she got even more serious as she was attacking him faster as he tried to block it, her plan is to exhaust him enough so he jumped away from her quickly twisting his hand to open another portal to grab another saber out which was a pure white angelic saber with black on the edges. He heard Velvette whistling again.
"That's my man come on Love, you bloody got this, don't let that fucking old lady beat you." he rolled his eyes but heard Carmilla sighed in annoyance. But she ran towards him again as they connected again but he used the saber to take a swipe at the straps of her heels which she didn't notice as he cut one, he was about to cut the other one but had to block with his other saber her angelic heel forcing him to jump away.

Vince ran towards her, she quickly raised her leg, but he slid under her leg, and he quickly cut the other stipe of her heels, "One more to go." but he did start to notice that Carmilla was looking at him carefully and realized what he was doing, and she narrowed her eyes at him.
He ran towards her again to try to slash her again.
"Like the Ocean hugs the shore hold me close sway me more."
He was about to slash at her heel, but she kept dodging and dodging like she was twirling around like a ballerina. Honestly, he was getting tired but not giving up yet, so he ran at her, and she was about to defend herself, but he didn't came at her. He was zig-zagging around her to confuse her to find an opening.
He thought of an idea so he stopped and threw his saber at her which she kicked up, it went up in the air and she turned around as he was running towards her thinking and making look like he was going to connect but he surprisingly threw his other saber at her but she kicked it on the ground. He then used another portal to store the saber that was in the air and summoned an all red katana that also had some little white angelic steel parts on the edges and then summoned some gray flames on his katana and quickly rushed to her to cut the last strap of her angelic heel.
"Like the flower Bending in the breeze, Bend with me sway with ease."
She felt the flames of his katana cutting the last strip of her heel which made her lost her balance a bit and she saw him closing the distance between them.
"When we dance You have a way with me stay with me sawyyy with meeee." The song ended. He had his flaming katana close to her throat, but she had her other heel at his as well, both weapon near their jugulars.
He was breathing hard as he felt the heel at his jugular, his flaming katana was at the same area and she was feeling the heat of the flaming katana.
They stared at each other and lowered their weapons. It was definitely a Tie. Vince put out the flames on his Katana and sat on the ground breathing hard as he summoned some water. While Carmilla grabbed her other heel and sighed as she needed a new strap for her heel, but she was more than impressed as this was indeed a tie.
She then saw Velvette jump from the ledge while Clara ran to get to Vince as well as he opened the portal to get both of his sabers in their place then laid down and covered his eyes while Odette left to do some work.
She saw Velvette put his head on her knees. As Vince removed his hands off his face, he saw Velvette looking at him smiling and he stared at her white irises, and he smiled at her.
"What do you think about mia amore ?"
Velvette rolled her eyes. "Well, Love, I think you did amazing by keeping up with the windbag here, I admit she is fast and formidable, but you managed to eep up and it was really hella fucking hot" she said as she bit her lips and also made her finger go up and down on his chest as he gave her a small growl which made her lick her lips. But she stopped herself and remembered something as she took out her phone and grinned and showed him "By the way you and grandma are trending right now."
He looked at his girlfriend's video and it had about 222 million views and 330 million comments. He whistled as he admitted his amore is a social media trend nut but she's damn good at it.
He also felt his hand squeezed as he looked at Clara who was looking at him smiling before he could say anything to her Carmilla interrupted them.
"I admit it Vince, I had my doubts about you with my daughter." She heard Velvette scoffed but ignored her as her daughter was looking at her worriedly, but she had a question for him.
"I see that you're able to summon silver fire. I want to know about that." She said as she narrowed her eyes at him. He gave her a neutral expression.
"It's a secret." he answered while Carmilla rolled her eyes.
"Of Course, you are the bodyguard of Princess Morningstar after all. You showed great strength and even managed to catch me off guard. I made my decision and I approve of your relationship with my daughter." She heard Velvette interrupt her.
"Fucking finally." Velvette rolled her eyes as she pat his head especially his ears as she looked at her phone seeing the video getting a lot of comments and likes.
Carmilla ignored her as she spoke to get his attention again. "So yeah, take care of her alright if you don't, royal bodyguard or not, I will kill you and make it slow and painful." She turned around to go to her office but had a small smile seeing her daughter happy.
As Carmilla left Velvette complained about her threat to Vince "That nerves of the wrinkly bitch threatening you! I will do something about it before she harms you and give her a piece of my mind." she felt his hand rubbing her face as she looked down to him while he was smiling at her.
"Andra tutto bene amore mio (it's gonna be okay my love) I'll be good I can handle myself don't worry, she will get earful from Charlie if she tries to harm me."
Velvette laughed and she admitted that if anyone messed with Vince, his royal sister figure would never leave them alone, she imagined the Princess in her demon form screaming at a scared Carmilla. She would love to see that.
Vince then looked at Clara who was smiling at him, as he was about to say something she kissed his cheek while a flash of a camera from Velvette took a picture.
"I am happy that I can be with you Vince and I'm happy that you got an approval from my mom. She doesn't give it often to other people, but she did to you so that's great." She sat on his lap and hugged him, and he felt Velvette hugging his head to her chest. He thanked Charlie's dad for having created this place where he met them both cause right now it felt like heaven.
"As much as I want to stay here with the both of you, how about we grab something to eat cause this fight took all of my energy and I'm starving. I don't want to leave Charlie's side too long either."
"Finally Love you're speaking my language, I'm bloody hungry right now, let's go or I'm going to rip someone's head off if I don't get my damn food." Velvette said as she and Clara got Vince off the ground as they walked.
"Let's fucking go" Velvette excitedly said as she pulled Vince to go to a restaurant while Clara muttered trying to catch up.
"Wait Vel don't leave me behind." Vince smiled he definitely is lucky even though he's in hell he feels like he's in heaven with the two lovely girls he is dating. After all, even hell isn't as hot as having 2 girlfriends.
