Jin Woo Pov: Feeling weak again, Jin Woo clutched his chest and struggled to stay on his feet. He knew he had to find a safe place to rest before it was too late. Tightening his grip on his chest, Jin Woo scanned his surroundings, desperately searching for any sign of shelter. As the pain intensified, he quickened his pace, his determination pushing him beyond his physical limits. Finally, Jin Woo spotted a small cave nestled on the side of a rocky hill. With a burst of newfound energy, he pressed on toward the cave, hoping it would provide the respite he so desperately needed. As he stumbled inside, the darkness enveloped him, offering a moment of much-needed solace.
Jin Woo sank onto the cold cave floor, his breaths coming in ragged gasps. With trembling hands, he reached into his backpack and pulled out a small flashlight, flicking it on to cast a feeble glow around the space. The dim light revealed a narrow passageway leading deeper into the cave, beckoning him to explore further.
"I never imagined I would experience this sensation again ever since I obtained the System. [Coughs up blood] Damn it! (Image is blurred out). I am going to die here. All I can remember is being stabbed in the chest by the Frost Monarch with Kamish's Wrath. I am sorry, Suho, my son, and Hea-In, my wife. I couldn't fulfill my role as a father and husband for you both. There was no desire or necessity," Jin Woo said with a final breath, closing his eyes. At that moment, he saw Hea-In and his son and peacefully passed on to the afterlife. At that very moment, he felt a serene sense of relief, knowing that his family would be taken care of. He embraced the soothing notion of his loved ones being safe as he closed his eyes.
Centuries have passed since Sung Jin Woo's time, and the power of hunters has faded. Now we find ourselves in the Elemental Nations, particularly in Konohagakure.
October 10th, the day that the Kyuubi the nine-tailed demon fox attacked Konoha, the village hidden in the weren't going great for the Fourth Hokage, Minato, to say the very least. His wife Kushina had just given birth to their children, but as a result, the seal had been weakened and the Kyuubi had been released. Not only that, he was now fighting a man who claimed to be Madara Uchiha, a man who should have been dead long ago.
His masked opponent had attempted to take his child as well, and succeeded in taking him, a blond boy with cerulean eyes and six whisker marks adorning his features, three on each cheek. When Minato caught his newly born son Naruto Uzumaki. He heard sizzling sounds from the bundle that he was holding in his arms and saw Explosives Seals on the blanket. Minato quickly took the blanket off of Naruto and Flashes away to the Uzumaki-Namikaze Compound to put Naruto in his crib. And, flashes back to the battlefield to face the Masked Man.
"Madara' was a tough ninja to fight and even the great Hokage was having difficulty keeping up with him and the strange jutsu he was using, an ability of the sharingan no doubt. Still, with the use of his two strong jutsu, Hiraishin and Rasengan, Minato was able to get the upper hand on his opponent. He had finally forced "Madara" to retreat. After the battle, Minato started to feel lightheaded, and so immediately went to his son. And went towards the secret cave that his wife was having birth at . But, when he arrived, however, he found Kushina was not in the room and instead Hiruzen Sarutobi was.
"You and I both know we need to subdue the Kyuubi, and the only way to do it is to seal it. It will be hard for Kushina to handle after childbirth, she's already not in a completely stable condition as it is, Tsunade is looking after her. Like we discussed already, we need to seal it inside one of your children. I know it is a big ask-"
Minato cut him off, "I've got Naruto here, so we can seal the fox in him. "Hiruzen, take care of the village for me." Minato said an uses Flying Raijin to teleport away.
.With that, Minato was gone, leaving Sarutobi to shunshin to the Kyuubi to assist the people. Minato soon arrived with his baby, wrapped in orange cloth. Minato brought him there because he had faith that Naruto is the only one able to handle the sealing and containing the demon. He started the sealing ritual, using an extremely strong seal. He knew that it would cost a soul to complete, but he was willing to sacrifice himself.
"Fūinjutsu: Shiki Fūjin," Minato yelled out. A demonic vintage appears behind Shinigami is a translucent, gaunt spectre with a demonic visage. It is much larger than an average human, possessing long, shaggy, white hair, from which two red horns protrude, as well as purple-hued skin. It is draped in a large white kimono and carries a set of prayer beads. When not using it, the Shinigami is almost always seen with a tantō in its mouth. When removed, however, its mouth is revealed to be full of sharp, jagged teeth, and a very long, almost serpentine tongue. When sealing a target, a series of cursed seals spread across its arms.
"What do you want, mortal?" the Shinigami said.
"Seal the Kyuubi into my son, Naruto." Minato said.
"You know the price mortal for summoning me." The Shinigami said.
Just as the sealing was finished, the Shinigami came down to collect his soul."Forgive me my son, look after your child, Naruto. Take my soul instead, it should be worth plenty." Minato said.
The shinigami didn't care that it wasn't the one who used the sealing, he just wanted the price to be paid. And so, it was on that night the Fourth Hokage died, leaving the crying boy.
Before the Shinigami disappeared, out of the moral plane. He stopped and looked at the young boy.
"Interesting. This boy can be a powerhouse in the future. Looks like my title is Death God will be challenged. It will be interesting indeed." Then the Shinigami vanished into thin air without another word.
Hiruzen appeared next to the dead body of Minato. "Minato… You still had a bright future ahead. You didn't have to sacrifice yourself to seal the fox in your son." Hiruzen said.
Hiruzen's words echoed through the quiet air as he stood next to the lifeless body of Minato. His heart ached at the sight, knowing that this young shinobi had so much potential and a bright future ahead. But now, all of that was cut short due to his selfless act of sacrificing himself to seal the Nine-Tailed Fox within his newborn son.
The Third Hokage let out a heavy sigh, feeling the weight of responsibility and loss weighing down on him. He couldn't help but think about how much has changed since he first took on the role as Hokage. The village was constantly under threat, and it seemed like every generation had their own battles to face.
As Hiruzen looked upon Minato's peaceful face, memories flooded his mind - memories of a young boy with big dreams and determination in his eyes. He remembered watching Minato grow into a skilled ninja, surpassing even his own expectations. And now, here he lay before him - gone too soon.
"I'm getting too old for this shit," Hiruzen muttered under his breath with a hint of bitterness in his tone. It pained him to see such promising lives lost in the never-ending cycle of war and conflict. But despite everything, he knew that sacrifices were necessary for protecting what they held dear - their loved ones and their village.
"Anbu!" Hiruzen said
A squad of Anbu appeared next to Hiruzen.
"Yes, Hokage-sama." One anbu with a kanji for bird on his mask said. "Take Minato's body to the morgue and make preparations for burial along with the other ninjas who have died in the civilians as well."
With one last glance at Minato's body, Hiruzen made a silent promise to continue leading Konoha with wisdom and strength until someone worthy enough could take over as Hokage. For now though, it was time to mourn another fallen hero and honor their sacrifice by fighting for peace in their memory.
"Yes, Hokage-sama!" The squad of anbu shouted while taking the body of Minato with them.
Yes, things may have changed drastically over time but one thing remained constant - Hiruzen's unwavering dedication towards protecting Konoha no matter what challenges came its way.
As the event comes to a close, we can't help but feel that this is just the beginning for our beloved blonde haired boy. With each obstacle he overcomes, Naruto Uzumaki continues to grow and evolve into a true hero. And as he faces whatever challenges may come his way in the future, we have no doubt that he will rise above them all with determination and strength.
From his humble beginnings as an underestimated orphan, Naruto has proven time and time again that he possesses an unwavering spirit and unbreakable willpower. He has faced countless enemies, both physical and emotional, yet always manages to emerge victorious with his trademark grin on his face.
And now, as he takes on the title of Kage no Kunshu - King of The Dead - we can only imagine what incredible feats lie ahead for him. With this new responsibility comes great power and even greater expectations. But knowing Naruto's character, we have full confidence that he will surpass all expectations and become a legendary figure in the shinobi world.
So let us raise our glasses to our favorite blonde haired boy - here's to many more adventures filled with excitement, laughter, tears, and most importantly: growth. Because no matter how long or challenging the journey may be...Naruto Uzumaki will always rise up as a shining beacon of hope for us all.
